  • How to send Emails to Other Domain for the users in My AD

    Hi All,
I have a Domain test.com and in this i created 10 users and now i in the properties of their account i added mail address as ****.dummy.com (which is not my domain which i have created separately and there is no relation between these two) No will the mails
will be deliverd to those users??
    Thanks

Is this "other domain" you are talking about just an SMTP domain, or a Windows domain?  If the former, and there is a messaging system they can receive with, you can just send (though you may need a send connector).  If the latter,
is it in the same Windows forest?  If so, you need to prepare the domain for Exchange (using Setup /PrepareDomain).  You can then add that domain to your Accepted Domain list (in the Organization configuration, Hub Transport role) and create
mailboxes for these users.  Once the have mailboxes, they will receive email.  Until all of this happens, they won't be able to get mail.

  • Exchange 2013 Create an smtp relay to allow sending emails to other domains from web application

    Hello,
We have an exchange 2013 and we want to allow a web application that is outside the organisation to send emails through our sever to external domain.
Do we have to create an smtp receive or sending connector? How this on has to be configured ?
    Thank you in advance.

    Hello Mehdi,
be sure that you enable exchange servers permission and externally secured authentication after you create the receive connector.

  • HT5361 Mac OS X Mail 4.6 sends emails that other email clients don't recognize as attachments, but as embedded pictures. Mail 6.6 does not have this problem.

My Mac OS X (with 10.6.8 software) Mail 4.6 sends emails that other email clients don’t recognize as attachments, but as embedded pictures. When I receive emails from others, I do not see whole image either. I did change "rich text" to "plain text" in message format - no results.
My daughter has Mac (10.8.5) with Mail 6.6, which does not have this problem. Can I install 6.6 instead of 4.6 or do you know other fix?
    Help, please?
    Thanks,
    Andrew

I've been having the same problem now for several months (at least 3-4 if not more). And the frequency of Mail quitting is increasing, several times in a few hours. And as with you, no particular message pops up before hand or not even the beach-ball spinning first and then quitting.
I too have been sending Apple the crash reports. However, I have not contacted Apple Support yet. Hoping to find the answer in this forum, but again, no luck.
If you have found a solution since then, please advise. Or if anyone else out there knows of this issue and can help, that would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hosted Email Server can not send emails to certain domains including Hotmai

I host my own email server and domain, but when I try to send emails to certain domains Hotmail being one of them, It gets refused saying something about spamming, when I know I am not a spammer because only one of the users in my domain can actually send and receive emails.
Is there a list I can include my domain in, so that I can bypass the spammer status?
Any help is greatly appreciated it.
    Thanks!

This is getting common as people attempt to cut down the spam.
Check your reverse dns is correct, I'd suggest an external test like http://www.mxtoolbox.com/ against your system/domain is a good place to start.
In the case of the problems I had at home a while back this was down to my ISP not setting up the reverse DNS correctly. I got the Reverse DNS not matching the SMTP Banner i.e. IP address then ISP name:-
    xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.btopenworld.com
Microsoft and some other companies introduced a while back the use of SPF records, so check your zone file info to make sure this is there and valid.
http://old.openspf.org/index.html will help here, if you haven't got SPF set-up.
Some ISP's employ Goodmail systems, now which isn't a problem for small companies/home users sending small amounts of email, but will effect large companies.
If you're not sending large amounts of email to AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo etc this shouldn't effect you. Basically, it will force a 'drip feed' into their email systems. One company I worked at had to send email to customers, and this meant the first few emails would be accepted, then the server wouldn't accept more email for 20 minutes or so, then it would take another 5 emails, and so on....
Dynamic IP addresses, from your ISP can also cause huge problems. If you haven't got a fixed IP address, many systems will reject email. Even if you have a static IP address, ensure your ISP has this correctly allocated. Sometimes, you'll get it from the wrong range (ones which normally are Dynamic), and this will cause problems. 'Cheap state' ISP's can often allocate you a fixed IP, but because they have 'run out' of fixed addresses, they may pinch a dynamic one....
Some places check your MX records http://vger.kernel.org/mxverify.html will help here. It's a bit of a cheat, as large companies may not have the same outbound servers as inbound servers, but I have seen this cause problems when ALL the mail servers are not listed in the MX records.
The only one I wouldn't worry about too much is the Goodmail system, unless you're sending large amounts of email. But even then, they normally only slow email delivery down and not actually reject it.

  • [SOLVED]How to send email to a local user?

I have installed Mutt, msmtp, procmail and I can send and receive emails to/from remote hosts and I'd like to send email locally also (to the recipients on the same machine as the sender).
When I try to send email to a local user from the root account -
echo "Test message" | mail -s "Test subject" localuser
then I get an error that connection to the port 25 is refused. Because the /etc/msmtprc file contains the 'localhost' as the default account's host, and on the local host I don't have a mail server listening on 25 port running.
When I try to send email from a non-root account which has in /$HOME/.msmtprc file a real email account on a remote server, then of course there is an error that the domain for the email address 'localuser' is not recognized.
How can sending email to local users be enabled?

If I understand correctly, postfix it's a constantly running daemon. Seems to be an overhead for delivering only from time to time sent messages.

Currently I have msmtp-mta installed, which is described as having sendmail functionality. If I install sendmail - will it be possible to send local email without running email daemons?

  • Send email to different domain using different address

    hi
I want to set my exchange recipients have 2 email address.
    1=[email protected] 2=[email protected]
1.how can I set this setting? (I know I can use something called policy but I don't know how can use that for exchange 2013; please tell me how can do this)
2.how can set my exchange server to send email to different domain with different account? (after question 1; my recipients has 2 email address (***@domain.com,
***@domain.co) I want my recipients when send email to "company.com" using domain.com address and for other domains using domain.co)
    thanks

    1.  Add an accepted domain.  Add the e-mail address to your e-mail address policy.  Update the e-mail address policy.
    2.  http://www.ivasoft.biz/choosefrom2007.shtml  This has been the traditional answer for Exchange 2010 and earlier.  You might contact him to see if it works for Exchange 2013.
I don't know of a native way to do this except to create separate mailboxes for each address.

I can receive incoming mail ok and I can send email from other Apple devices. The problem seems confined to my Mac Book Pro.

  • Having problems in sending email..always saved in outbox and cannot send mail bcoz of the server failed

Having problems in sending email..always saved in outbox and cannot send bcoz of server failed

The email server you are using to send mail through requires the password, if any is required it needs to be set in the location that I pointed out in the earlier post.
It is usually the same password you use for receiving emails.
I don't use either Facebook or Twitter so I am not sure how to help with those.

  • Can I send email invitations to local users instead of push notifications?

I see in the documentation that "Attendees can be invited to events via email if they don’t have an iCal Server account."  Is there a way to send email invitations to local users instead of push notifications?  The server would be migrating from Exchange and everyone is accustomed to/wants email invitations for calendar events.
I've already purchased a copy of Lion Server (10.7.4) and pretty much everything is setup.  Sadly I'm just now running into this issue.  Email invitations to non iCal server accounts work fine.
    Thanks for the help.

Go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, and click on your Apple ID and sign out of Messages. Then sign on again. Sometimes it needs to reset itself....

  • Cannot log in on one particular PC as other domain user than specific

    Hello,
    We have next problem:
On one specific PC I can log in as one specific domain user. However, I cannot log in to this PC as other domain user than specific. When I try to log in as other user it turns back to "Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to log in" screen so it doesn't go
    to user's desktop.
Operating system is Windows 7 Enterprise.
What could be issue in such case?

Can you access resources like file shares with the user who can login?Has the PC been off for a long time? I just ask as the computer needs to talk to the domain controller at least once every 3 months, otherwise it looses it's domain membership and has
    to be removed and rejoined.

  • * Can We Send Email Notifications Only using User Task in Oracle BPM ?? *

    Hi All,
Can we send any email notification to initiator, only from Oracle BPM User / Human task without using any notification activity.
Is it possible to send email notifications using BPM User task alone.
    Any Help appreciated.
    Regards
    Satya

    Hi Satya,
To send an email to the person who initiated the work item instance in the process when the instance reaches a human task:
    1. Ensure that the id of person who initiated the instance is stored in the process predefined variable called "creator".
    2. In the Interactive activity's input data mapping, map this "creator" process predefined variable to the corresponding "creator" attribute in the human task's execData.
    3. Open the human task -> click the "Notification" tab -> click the "+" icon in the upper right -> on the new row added to the bottom of the list, leave the task status dropdown set to "Assign" and change the recipent (the middle column) to "Initiator".
