PROBLEM IN SHEDULING AGREEMNTS

Hi guys,
i have one created SLA in Me31L and i have created delivery schedules also in ME38.
Then i am trying to raise a po wrt to SA.. there i am gettying one error. how to do that. can anyone plz help me regarding the same?
error me in me21n, i am crearing a po wrt to outline agreemnt and i giveing the SL number. the system says that the given sgnumber is not a contract. Help me guys

u have to be sure that the sheduled date and the date on which ur doing gr should be same
suppose u have given gr date 14.11.08 so i can do the gr on 14.11.08 only
now the SLA is same as ur PO so , go to MIGO select po as ref and enter thr SLA no insted of PO no
the u will get the material quantities which u have sheduled for 14.11.08
then do the gr as normal then do th miro with ref of po/sla

Daily backup on Ms sql server management studio (MS sql 2005).

I wander how to perform daily backup on Ms sql server management studio (MS sql 2005).
In sql server Entereprise manager (MS sql 2000) I had no problem to shedule.
But now I do not find this option

Please follow these steps in SQL Server Management Studio in SQL Server 2005 and <b>award points</b>
1. Start SQL Server Management Studio.
2. In the Connect to Server dialog box, click the appropriate values in the Server type list, in the Server name list, and in the Authentication list.
3. Click Connect.
4. In Object Explorer, expand Databases.
5. Right-click the database that you want to back up, click Tasks, and then click Back Up.
6. In the Back Up Database - DatabaseName dialog box, type the name of the backup set in the Name box, and then click Add under Destination.
7. In the Select Backup Destination dialog box, type a path and a file name in the Destinations on disk box, and then click OK.
8. In the Script list, click Script Action to Job.
9. In the New Job dialog box, click Steps under Select a page, and then click Edit if you want to change the job parameters.
Note In the Job Step Properties - 1 dialog box, you can see the backup command.
10. Under Select a page, click Schedules, and then click New.
11. In the New Job Schedule dialog box, type the job name in the Name box, specify the job schedule, and then click OK.
Note If you want to configure alerts or notifications, you can click Alerts or Notifications under Select a page.
12. Click OK two times.
You receive the following message:

Note To verify the backup job, expand SQL Server Agent, and then expand Jobs. When you do this, the SQL Server Agent service must be running.

Problem with *serial no. profile* in work sheduling view of material master

I am here with a problem with serial no. profile in work sheduling view of material master.
By mistake for some FHMI type ( PRODUCTION RESOURCE TOOLS )materials, serial no profile exist in 'work sheduling' view. Due to that we are facing problem in GRN.
when I am trying to remove that with MM02. i m getting a message as Serial numbers already assigned to this material
Please suggest how to remove serial no. profile.

Hi,
go to MMBE and check the Current Serial number...for FHMI type
and go to IQ02 and close the Serial number range at the Current number range...
Now you can assign this serial number range to another material type...

Error: Sheduled Backup Job Problem

Dear all.
I've been getting a problem with a scheduled backup job through OEM since yesterday which I'm not able to find out why as it was working fine. When I access OEM I can see that I have a problem execution and when I investigate why it says "Unable to perform the backup because the database is closed". But my db is open for sure and I'm able to execute the backup from RMAN command line normally. I shut my db down and started it up again but didn't work. Does anybody know why this is happening?
OS: Oracle Enterprise Linux 5
DB: Oracle Database 10g

Shedule lines problems in md04

hi all,
even thru we split the dep remqt from the monthly to day wise from the planning table entry for the final product and run mrp
instead system create the daily schedule line , it give it the single schedule line for the whole month.
what will the reason. pls give suggestion on this.

should be only a draft problem.
i updated already hundreds of other documents (Invoice / Orders / ...) and never faced that problems.
follow Petr's suggestion and make a bug report.

Business Objects Management Console - Shedule Jobs Problem

I am novice in Business Objects technology and i am facing a problem that i describe next:
The Jobs Scheduled are not running but if we execute the Job manually the Job runs normally.
Do you have any idea about what can be wrong? Is there any logs that can be checked?

I am running Data Integrator Management Console and the version is Business Objects Data Integrator 11.7.2.1
I check the starting date and there is none because we want to run the job in a daily basis.

Using Numbers to shedule sort problem

I am using Numbers to schedule the times that groups perform at an event I am organizing. If I make a time change to a group Numbers has also tagged this with the date of my entry and this affects the sorting. Is there a way to turn this off? I have set the column so that only the time shows but the date of entry still affects the sorting.

I'm new to Numbers as well, and trying to get my head around the effects of the different time/date treatment from that of AppleWorks.
You may find useful information in the Numbers User Guide supplied with your copy of Numbers. Try searching "timevalue". The TIMEVALUE() function is discussed on page 282, but the search will bring up a number of pages that may offer alternate solutions.
Also, check Yvan's post What you wanted to know about Time values in this forum.
A possible solution:
Click on the header row of an empty column and enter the following:
=IF(ISBLANK(time),"",TIMEVALUE(time))
After entering the formula as shown, Select the word "time" then click on the column header or column reference tab for the column containing the scheduled performance times. repeat for the second word "time". Click the checkmark to confirm the formula.
Click on the column header cell of the column containing the formula and enter "Sort" (without the quotes, and with or without the capitalized S). Use this column to sort the table.

Note: Performances scheduled for after midnight will sort to the top of the list. There's probably a workaround if one is needed.

I am new in Linux, at windows i am running oracle database 10.2.0 and auto shudule data export job for every day at morning and evening time
I create export.bat file which invoke oracle data export utility exp.exe such as
exp.exe userid=system/pass file= d:\backup\date.dmp , log=d:\backup\date.log.
How i can create export.bat alternative for linux plateform (redhat 4.7)
How i can creat dump..zip file on linux redhat4.7
How I can access linux folder /oradisk/backup from windows operting system.
How i can access linux drives on windows operting system.

userid is best placed in a .par file for security reasons. .... having password on command line is not good.

In general for occasional use a client such as coreftp is useful (check licensing); filezilla is also possible.
Setting up the linux to share folder using samba is perhaps a longer term solution but requires more expertise to set up and requires managment. Poor setups could compromise security.
Could also be done via apache web server, again one step away from compromised security.

success.But I created Job sheduler as

Since you are using one of the the school's Macbooks, it is quite possible that the time and date are not properly set on the computer that you are using. FaceTime will not work if you do not have the proper time zone set up for the location that you are in. This past week, there were a two other Macbook users I've helped by simply telling them to set the Date/Time properly. By the way, you described your problem very well, which makes it easier for us to help you. Hope this solves your problem -- if not, post back and I can suggest other remedies.

Problems to connect with VNC to headless mac mini after sleep mode

Hallo,
I've a Mac Mini (late 2009) setup with Lion Server. I want to use it without mouse/keyboard/monitor attached. Since I want to safe power ( green IT ;-) ), I would like to use sleep mode.
First thing I've learned is, that Lion Server prevents the mini to go to sleep after an idel time as set in power saving.
The only thing that works, is setting up a shedule with sleep / wakeup times.
When I start the mini, everything works great. I can connect via VNC. The Mini goes to sleep at the scheduled time and wakes up again as expected.
From this time on, things begin to get strange:
I can connect using VNC, but all i get is a grey screen with a moving cursor. So VNC is working, but there is no screen available on the Mini. Same if I use thightVNC from a Windwos PC. Get a grey screen.
Further the system does NOT go to sleep at scheduled times any longer.
I was able to track down the problem to the missing monitor: If the Mini wakes up without a monitor connected, I seems to wait to get the right resolution or what ever. All servives are working, SSH is fine even VNC works, but shows only a grey screen.
I've been playing with attaching / detaching a monitor. Sometimes I got:
- Boot with monitor
- connect with VNC, see login screen
- send Mini to sleep
- disconnect monitor
- wakeup Mini
- VNC reconnects, showing grey screen
- plug in monitor and wait until login screen appears on the monitor
- VNC switches from grey to login screen
The only way I can save some energy is a sheduled shutdown / restart. So headless works, but not after waking up from sleep.
Any hint or solutions for this ?

The port number looks weird, is that what AVG requires ?
Personally I have turned off email scanning on receipt, the AV program will check disk writes if there is a dodgy attachment. Also email scanning can seriously slow down the email fetch.
Certainly there is nothing in OE blocking any pop3 server apart from mail.btinternet.com, if there was no one else in the world would be able to use it !

Instead of running DBCC DBREINDEX for each index I did a rebuild.
Now the same query is giving no rows, but the subscriber is still unable to sync.
Notice that I have about 35 subscribers syncing correctly. Only this PC is having problems.
