In sldapicust transaction, i have assigned PIAPPLUSER user and set the password. But i do not see this user in SU01 transaction. It says this user does not exist. Is that ok?
Moreover, when i try to login to http://<host>:<port>/sld with PIAPPLUSER user, it says, I do not have permission to view the SLD. Minimum required: UME role with permission com.sap.lcr.LcrUser and J2EE role LcrUser.

Triggers problem - please help - urgent !!

Using Oracle 8 Rel 8.0.6
I have 2 tables (table Y, table Z).
In the 'after insert upd del on each row trigger' (lets call it
AIUD trigger)on table Y, based on certain criteria, I insert a
record in table Z.
New requirement is that whenever a record is inserted in table Z
(fyi, inserting any record in table Z is possible only when
records are inserted in table Y as mentioned earlier thro the
AIUD trigger - i.e. there is no frontend way to insert records
in table Z), if certain (new) criteria is satisfied, I should
insert 1 record in both, table Y and table Z.
I tried to create meet the new requirement by adding code to
existing AIUD trigger but ran into mutating tables error. So I
dropped this idea.
I have now created 'after insert on each row trigger' (lets call
it NEW_TRIGGER) on table Z to meet the new requirement but have
these 2 problems :
1) the trigger always compiles with errors
2) if I still go ahead and insert a record in table Y, I get the
foll error msgs :
ORA 4098 - NEW_TRIGGER is inv
ORA 6512 at line xxx on AIUD
ORA 4088 error during execution of trigger AIUD
What is the best way to work on this requirement or what am I
doing wrong ?

Your restatement of the problem merely confirms what the previous
posting said. You cannot write a trigger on table Y that inserts
a record into table Y: that's the mutating trigger problem
(there's oodles of postings on the subject, not to mention
online Oracle docs). You could write a trigger on table Z that
inserts into table Y - but you need to be able to see the value
I3 which (presumeable) you can't.
One solution is to use code the trigger on table Y to submit a
call to DBMS_JOB which initiates a procedure that inserts a
record into table Y.
You must remember that the new record in table Y must never
include the value I3, otherwise you'll end up w/ an infinite
loop.

Problem with spreads - urgent!

My problem here is that when I want to print my 18-page document, InDesign have decided to make these 18 pages in to 10 spreads.
The result of that is the printer printing 2 pages in one page, in stead of what I want; 1 page on 1 page, thank you!
I have tried to make a new document with the same amount of pages and so on, but it still won't work.

I am having a similar problem. I am using CS5 and am making a portfolio, for online submission. I want the portfolio to be viewed online as spreads, but be printed out as 8.5 x 11's. This is because I am not in charge of printing out the document, I have to give it over to someone else as a part of an application. I have tried all the ways suggested in this thread, but have not been able to achieve my goals. I feel like perhaps this is something that needs to happen at the level of the PDF in a program like Acrobat if it is possible?

Log4j problem ---- VERY VERY URGENT PLEASE

I am new to log4j. In my project( web application -- a testing framework ), there is a requirement to log the errors in a different filres for different requests ( the request may come simultaneously ) , by taking the log file path from the user interface.
To achive the requirement , I am taking both the log file name and log4j.xml file path from the user interface and updating the log4j.xml at runtime, So I am able to log for different requst in different files , but while the 2nd log4j.xml ( the log4j.xml for 2nd request ) is configured ( using DOMConfigurator.configure ) , the errors which are belongs to 1st request are also wrriten in the 2nd log file ( which is configured by log4j.xml -- 2n request ) .
Please help me to find out the solution for this problem( to log in different files for different request distinctly ).

JCheckBox rollback problem.. Urgent

Hi All,
I hv 2 JChkbox and 2JTextField. I want the prev state of the JCheckBox when the cancel button is clicked.
Ex:
I hv Maximum value and Minimumvalue checkboxes.
When the checkbox is not selected I'm enabling the corresponding textboxes.
The problem is, When i open my panel and the Chk boxes is selected and i deselect both the chkboxes. I enter min valu = 10 and max val = 5 and i click the cancel button. Now when i click the cancel the chkboxes sh go to prev state as they are when the panel is opened.
Is there any way to trace it out or any methods to it.
Kindly help me. As it is very Urgent.

Isn't it a simple matter of remembering the state of the check boxes etc (in other words their 'model' data) when the dialog is popped up and then restoring them to that state if cancel is pressed?

When i am pressing the "Color" button in VBDLL to retrieve the color information, server takes the long time nearly 10-12 minutes to return back the color information but it throws the following error

Exchange rates can be entered as a direct or indirect quotation. You can maintain two prefixes that
can be used to differentiate between direct and indirect quotations exchange rates during input and
display. If you don´t set up a prefix, the standard setting is valid:

n Scenario 1: If you use mainly direct quotation exchange rates and indirect quotation occurs seldom,
use the default configuration. In this way you can enter direct quotation exchange rates without a

n Scenario 2: If, in addition to direct quotation exchange rates, the handling of indirect quotation is
required, you should define a prefix that is not blank for both quotation types, e.g.:

 If you follow this suggestion, the configuration does not allow exchange rates to be entered
without a prefix, an error message occurs. Thus users are forced to consider which the correct
quotation is and enter the rate with a valid prefix.

Serious Problem...Urgent Help needed

     I am facing a problem problem and it seems that it is more related to the parameters we pass to oracle ias server. There is some attribute to be set in deployment descriptor (orion-ejb-jar.xml file) i suppose.
The process is as below:
There are 2 cases i.e.,
1. Insert & Select
2. Select
In case 1, following are the operations taking place :
     1. A set of rows will be inserted in the A table
     2. The same will be refered and inserted into child tables.
     3. Then from other beans, many select queries from different tables
     are executed.
     4. And finally, the newly inserted row from table A will be selected.
During the point 4 execution, the server throws
     java.lang.IllegalStateException: TransactionExpired : java.lang.NullPointerException
In case 2, following are the operations taking place :
     In this case, server executes only point 3 & 4( see in case 1). In this case, the exception is not thrown.
It selects all the requested data and works fine.
I am wondering why this problem arises in case 1. The full details of Transaction Expired exception

Normally in case 1, transaction would take at the max of 2 min. Though i have changed the data-sources.xml and server.xml timeouts to 10 min...i am facing the same problem.
Another information which i required is, How to utilize connection pooling using ejb's? If possible, Please give me the required paramaters for data-source.xml in order to utilise the connection pool...
I have read in many sites, that giving pool-location in data-source.xml, the data-sources will be registered in the pool. I tried out the same, the pooling was not utilised...Below is my data-sources.xml file contents:

With the above given settings, OC4J throws a error message i.e., java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00020: maximum number of processes (50) exceeded
Above exception is thrown during getConnection().
If i increase the inactivity-time-out then, i can use connections for some more time. I didnt understand the flow of it...
Please let me know as how to utilise connection pooling so that it may solve ORA-000020 problem.

The error is coming from Oracle DB. Please ask your DBA to increase the processes to a higher value in the init.ora.

Process order problem in COR2 - Urgent Please

hi i have a problem in COR2.
After creating the process order i TECO Technically complete the same,
and when i save the process order the system just hangs.
When i debugged the code i found that issue is inside the functional module CO_ZV_ORDER_POST - Create/change end routine order.
It does not do the commit work properly. this is in PRD so please help me to resolve this
I checked for other system and the process order gets saved.

just compare the function module in both PRD & DEV so that see the difference in the code level or else in the debug mode upto the hanging code level ....
i think it is because of the performance issue .... so need to be   created the index of the table which it gets updated .....
becuase as your FM is for create/chande .... so it will be an big table .... so see it and   do the performace trace and create the index ..
ST05 ,SCI , SM30    .... These are some of the tracscation code for   Code Insecptor , performance trace & SQL trace , Runtime Analysis..
seee if the code is same in both the system   ... then it is confirmed as   performance issue ....
if the code is different   then it is patch level issue ... tell to basis to check the patch level of that both system and apply it.

Problem...urgent solution needed

The problem is... table A and table B are related with B as parent table and A child. The value of id (primary key) of table B needs to be populated with the column Bid when the following where condition satisfies.
A.x=B.x and A.y=B.y and A.z=B.z for every value of A
My problem is to create either a procedure, a function or a package which populates the value of B.id in table A with the above where condition for id value of A
I created a function which gives me the return value of Bid but unable to update the table as several ids of table A have the same value of Bid.
select A.id into bid from A,B where A.x=B.x and A.y=B.y and A.z=B.z;
return bid;
but in the same function I am unable to update
update A set bid=bid;
taking the return value from the function. I am unable to understand why? I am pretty weak in pl/sql kindly help me if am making some mistake. I NEED HELP FAST...THANKS IN ADVANCE

1)by putting just the update statement in the function. it gave an error which says
4/1 PL/SQL: SQL Statement ignored
5/23 PL/SQL: ORA-00925: missing INTO keyword
2) I tried my another function where i retrieve the value of

in the second instance, the retrieval of bid works fine but the update is ignored. please suggest. I also want to mention that for every value of a.id there are more than one values of bid. so the update will return more than one rows. kindly help.
