Problem in starting trex httpservice

Hi All,
We downloaded netweaver 2004s from sneak preview.
we have installed both portal and trex in the same machine.
In trex administration all the services are green except the httpservice.
When we tried to restart it says
(access denied: you must be an administrator to acces this remote service)
how to resolve this issue....

Check wthere the following steps gives rise to solution in your case.

The TREX Version used is TREX 7.0.27. Installation is on WINDOWS2003server/IIS6.0
1.Having installed TREX, open the TREX Admin Tool and go to the services.
2.If the httpserver shows a red state go to the Alert tab and check if a solution is suggested.
3. Try to restart the "httpserver" on the service tab as suggested in the Alert monitor.You might get an error message stating that the TREX service user (SAPService<SID>) has authorization problems.
4. Add the SAPService<SID> user to the admin group and restart TREX.
5. Try again to restart the "httpserver" on the service tab - the restart does work now (success message), though the state is still red.
6. Check the IIS log files - you will probably find one stating the application pool TREX uses is not valid.
7. Go to IIS Management and start the TREX Application pool.
(For your information you might want to check the users having acces to the TREX website and the Virtual Directory. To do so go to the properties of the TREX Website and the TREX Virtual directory and check the Tabs Directory security.)
8. Reset IIS and check the State of httpserver in the Services in TREX Admin Tool again. Now they should be green

- SAP TREX 7 (Windows 2003 server)

- We have some errors in windows log about sso22kerbmap library. The text is 'Application failure: w3wp.exe, version:6.0.3790.3959, module: SSO22KerbMap.dll,version 1.1.0.8 ...'

Did you also create an Active Directory User for the user index_service ?

Cannot start Trex queue service

My /usr/sap/ file system was 100% full ad now I get a core file when starting Trex. All the services start, EXCEPT the queue server. The queue server is creating a core file.

I had the same space issue during Trex indexing that the file system was full. We created enough space and started the TREX server and found that a core file was getting created and the Que server was not started. But all other services were started well. When I looked into the /usr/sap/trex_02/trace folder I found the following messages on file TrexQueueServer.0000001077486.000.trc

After that I deleted the core file, deleted the index file and Que file and restarted the TREX server. Now all the services are running fine.
Logged into the E-recruiting System and via transaction skpr07 recreated the index. Now new index and Que files were created and the problem solved.

Severe problem while starting Lenovo 3000 N200

Dear friends & experts,
I am using Lenovo 3000N200 0769BDG laptop. I have following problems while starting the system.
Recently my system was hacked against which I installed an Anti-Malware software. It showed that the system was free from any Malware.(But believe me, it is true that the system was hacked.). But each time on starting the system, a black and white window is being displayed which contains the following message:
We apologize for the inconvenience, but Windows didnot start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this.
If your computer stopped responding, restarted unexpectedly, or was automatically shut down to protect your files and folders, choose Last Known Good Configuration to revert to the most recent settings that worked.
If a previous startup attempt was interrupted due to a power failure or because the Power or Reset button was pressed , or if you aren't sure what caused the problem, choose Start Windows Normally.

After 30 seconds, the Windows logo is displayed immediately followed by a Blue screen which lasts for 1 second and the system restarts. I tried all the options listed above-- from Safe Mode to Start Windows Normally but the same problem recurrs. And the system doesn't shutdown until I press the power button.
I have a licensed version of Windows Xp SP3 as OS. I tried to repair the system using WinXP CD but I found the following message:
Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer.
Make sure any hard disk drives are powered on and properly connected to your computer, and that any disk-related hardware configuration is correct. This may involve running a manufacturer-supplied diagnostic or setup program.
Setup cannot continue. To quit Setup, press F3.
A point to be noted is that earlier, I removed the Rescue & Recovery from my system thinking that it might not be of much use and now, I lament for it.
When I press F3 the same window appeared and the same problem recurred.
I tried to access the files in my hard disk using Ubuntu CD and it was successful. I used Lenovo hardware quick test to check for any hardware faults, and my system passed all the tests.
I request you to help me in solving this problem so that I can continue my studies peacefully.

First off, being "hacked" and having viruses/malware are two different things. Someone hacking your computer doesn't really mean you have a virus/malware, it means an actual person gained access to your computer remotely and did something to it.
More than likely you got a virus that corrupt your Windows System directory and/or registry. Anti-malware software won't necescarily detect all viruses, especially executable that run commands to simply delete files.
The blue screen you're seeing is what us technicians call the BSOD (blue screen of death), it's an indication that there is a direct corruption with the core files that Windows requires to function properly.
As an IT Technician, if this were one of my laptops or one of my end-users, I would simply reload it with a fresh copy of Windows XP. There's a possiblity that all data you had on the laptop is gone because if the Windows core files are corrupt/missing, then that could very well mean your system was wiped completely but the boot table is in tact, hence the fact that you even have the option to boot Windows XP.
One other option I would suggest is try to reinstall Windows XP. Sometimes if you have the right copy of the install, it will let you reinstall the Windows XP core files, leaving your programs, files and directories in tact.

Moreover, we have no information to contact whom. even the replace set has a warranty of only three month which further confirm that Apple itself is not confident wheather product will last after replacement for more then three month. Shellhwdetection is a Windows service which stands for Shell Hardware Detection Service.
It provides notifications for AutoPlay hardware events.
System error code 1075 means "The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion."
Please run services.msc, then find Shell Hardware Detection Service, view its dependencies
Make sure the three services are set to running "automatic" in Services.
If this doesn't help, then run sfc to check if there're some missing or corrupted files in system.

Your server certificate expired. You need to update your identity keystore with a new certificate.
The expired certificate was issued by the demo BEA certificate authority (CA). These certs are not adequate for production but if you want to take this approach for your new cert you'll have to use the BEA CertGen utility. Have a look at http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs70/secmanage/ssl.html for more details.
Your other option is to use Java's keytool utility to create a private key. You'd then generate a certificate signing request (CSR) that you'd send to a CA such as Verisign. You might even have a CA in-house. The CA will then send you a signed certificate that you load in your keystore. Assuming you've configured WebLogic to use this keystore you should be back in business with SSL.

You have to add Library reference to your DC.
in the context menu of your DC select
properties->webdynproReferences->LibraryReference
add sap.com/cafeugp~api as refernce.

Is anyone else experiencing trouble playing video in itunes? Video intermittenly pauses and also plays with not audio. Video used to play fine. This problem only started since I upgraded to version 7. I have not used itunes since then because I couldn't watch anything without experiencing these problems. I was waiting for the next version to come out and hoped it would fix the problems I was having, but no such luck. I just upgraded to the latest version, version 11 and I'm still having the same problems. Anyone else having these same issues and if so, any solutions?

The answer is very simple: You were not the original owner of the phone. Target sold you a phone that had been returned. You can verify the date of the original sale here: Apple - Support - Check Your Service and Support Coverage. I suspect you will find that the warranty expiration date is not one year from the date that you bought it.

Problem with starting itunes...

ok this is my first time on this forum. So here is my problem i start up itunes and it will be fine for like a second and all of a sudden a screen pops up and says AppleMobileDeviceHelper has stopped working. And then it keeps popping up until i close itunes altogether. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it still persists.

Queen-Bea, lets get a crash log to the Apple Engineers for a look.
Typically, you'll need to configure Dr. Watson on your PC in order to generate crash logs. Windows start menu -> Run. Type in "cmd". Hit return. At the prompt in the command line window that comes up, type in
drwtsn32 -i
And hit return.
This will create crash logs in Documents And Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson\. There'll usually be a file in here called "drwtsn32.log"
prior to collecting the itunes crash log, delete any existing crash logs in there. (we want to make sure we send the correct crash log.)
Generate the crash, collect the crash log, and and send it as an attachment to this email address.

Download update 4 for Intel x64 or Amd if your notebook have an Amd CPU of Visual studio 2012 and trya again. Before you can controll if the installer install library of visual studio 12 during installation and see if the library missing is on windows\system32.

Problem in starting services after rebooting the sap server.

I got a problem in starting SAP services files in SAP BI system on windows 2003 server. Whenever I reboot the system all sap services failed to start throw a message u201CCould not start SAPBDJ_00 service on local computer. Error 1069: The service did not start due to login failure".
This is the common message for every sap service SAP<SID>_00,SAPOSCOLL,SAPCMSr.01,SAPSMD_98. Until unless I maintain ./SAPservice<SID> password externally by going through service.msc and g to properties of particular service and g to logon option to maintain password manually to fix this.
./SAPService<SID> user is no locked and password maintained properly also I tried to change the service user to SIDADM user and restarted the server however getting the same problem.
Could not find any fixes in internet so please help me to fix this issue.

we are in midde of BI implementation. last week we built the DEv box and Updated kernel and suport packs and restarted then i observerved this issue. I have already tried to change the SIDADm user but intially after changing the user service will start and once you restart the server then the issues appear again.
The password which i am using was the one set during the installation.
Please suggest.
