sir i have installed window 7 service pack 1 and i got this problem that i didnt find drivers for base system device please help me out i tried ur every drivers mostly it says ur system did not support the specific device i dont know why plz help me out..

Big Problem: Bad 23" Display or System or Drivers (?)

Folks, this is an on-going stuggle:
Any advice is useful!
I have a 23" cineman display, 60 days old.
ATI x800 card.
I've been having some problems where the apparent contrast of the display changes (flickers) to more and then less contrast regularly. I read in the forums that this may be due to the Universal Access function in sys prefs. That part is now fixed/turned off/normal.
But I'm seeing that my black colors all appear to have this transparent kind of vibe: I can see through. Here's an example: I open a photoshop document, and paint all black. I can see (slightly) the web page showing through behind.
Funny thing is this: If I close the web browser, that "ghost" image of the web page appears to sort of remain. I've found that this is true with just about any black area. It's like the black is sort of gray-ish, and transparent.
I'm trying to figure out whether this is:
1. a driver problem w/ the ATI drivers.
2. a MAC OS problem.
3. a hardware problem.
PS: I've ruled out the graphics card (sort of) because two different cards produce the same behavior. I have a new x800 and a sort of new 9800 pro se, both with the same issues.
Bottom Line: I can't figure this out. I'm hoping that someone can point me in the right direction for getting some traction on this matter.

my university department received our 23" ACD batch order and all of us were so excited about brand new screens, larger working space...
but the initial excitement soon turned into disappointment as we discovered that 4 out of 5 displays we received had an obvious "pink cast"... especially when we looked at shades of grey / metallic scheme of Mac OS X. We tried software and hardware calibrations but the pink cast remained. To confirm this, we compared them to the PowerBooks, eMacs and 20" ACD... we even borrowed a 30" ACD from another staff and placed each of them next to the 23" ACD. It is a truly disappointing quality from Apple.
secondly, all 5 had faint grey vertical bands (about 1 pixel wide). These bands were quite obvious towards the centre of the screen. We tried viewing vector images with curves and solid colour lines on these displays. They did not look as good as ones on the 20" or 30"ACD because the grey vertical bands somehow 'distorted' these line when we examined closely (hard to describe in words, but the output was definitely inferior to Dell 24" monitor.
lastly, when we tried watching DVDs, switching off all lights in the room, the display backlight was quite uneven (backlight bleeding at the edge of the screen) in 3 out of 5 (the other 2 were acceptable). We used Pixel Check to show solid black image in fullscreen and the backlight bleeding seen in a dark room made the 23" ACD look really ugly.
Also, we observed another strange phenomenon on these 23" ACD...
(by the way... all of the ACDs are connected to the Dual PowerMac G5)
we opened Photoshop and created a new reasonably large image containing only a single dark solid colour (dark brown, dark blue, black etc.)
we opened a Finder window and placed the Finder window directly behind these dark images. Then, we switched back to Photoshop.
These dark images were supposed to be opaque, but we could faintly see the grey outlines of the finder windows behind it.
we didn't bother to find out why, just assuming that Apple's quality control is poor for the 23" ACD...
we initially expected some dead / stuck / hot pixels. All of them did not have any dead pixel as far as we could see. But we concluded that the 23" ACD is the worst among all of Apple displays (except for the eMac CRT and 15" PowerBook).
All 5 displays has been rejected and we will claim a refund from the supplier.

Sound problems - MSI Motherboard and drivers

I have an Evesham Microcomputer and am having difficulty with the sound - distorted and sometimes slow. I decided to use Live update to ensure I have the most upto date drivers for the sound card and chip set, both VIA.
Unfortunately I am having a trouble down loading these update and installing. All I get after a few minutes of the download screen is error code 997. Any ideas about the down load or sound problem? System info below.

Well it looks like your board is an OEM board, which MSI doesn't officially support. But these drivers should work.

Hello I haven't been here in a while, I did an Arch Linux install a few months back and it was quite the learning experience for someone like me being a noob . I loved Arch( I was using 64bit) but the only thing that made me leave it was because after several tries I never could get the ATI VId drivers to install properly for my ATI 3870hd video card I could'nt do any serious gaming which suckedso I ended up uninstalling Arch. I did stay with Linux and stayed away from the MS OS's and now I am back and wondering if the installation problem is still there. I am using Ubuntu Hardy right now and although it is a good OS I really prefer Arch but like I said I just want to know if I am going to have the same problems with the Video Drivers as I did the last time. which I could never figure out because I did have duel boot 64bit ARCH and 64bit, Ubuntu but with Ubuntu all I needed to do was go into the system/administration/hardware drivers and check( turn on) the ATI accelerated hardware drivers I had no problems since.
I just realised that my single simple question turned into a short story so I will post this and hope that my problem with the Driver installs are solved so I can reinstall Arch with out any huge problems when I want to game

You will need a delta package for this component to upgrade it to 2006_1_700
Go to -> service.sap.com/swdc
         -> Installations and Upgrades
         -> Plug-Ins
         -> SAP Plug-In
         -> PI_BASIS
         -> PI_BASIS 2006_1_700
The patches for 2006_1_700 you will find at similar path to above just replace "SAP Installations and Upgrades" with "SAP Support Packages". A known issue. It wasn't supposed to be supported until SP2 is RTM. However, look at the stickied post in the forum for some bad news about SU.

With the word 'automatically', yes you do need pulseaudio. I'm sure you could cook up some udev or related rule to do that in Alsa, but pulseaudio would be easier.

Sylonious, did you manage to sort this problem out? I have been experiencing similar problems. I think my problem was because I had many different versions of JDKs. I have done a complete re-install. I would be really grateful to you (and anyone else) for help with this problem.
I have re-installed JSDK1.4.2_03, set the "path" variable to "C:\JSDK1.4.2_03".
When I compile using "javac" I get an error saying "javac" is not recognised.
When I compile using "C:\j2sdk1.4.2_03\bin\javac Freq.java" no error is thrown.
Every time I try to run a java file, I always get the NoClassDefFound error. When run with the -verbose option, files are loaded from C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_03\bin - is this correct?
I have removed all previous references to java in the registry editor.

If you're not sure how to handle the situation, consider walking your MB into the nearest Apple Store and asking someone there to take a look, etc.

I have a problem with alerter base on break.
This alerter is build with a variable.
The shaping of the cell of break does not depend on conditions set on the break, but on the position to alerter it on lines details.
I work with BO XI 3.0 Deski.
I have to create a alerter on lines details and a alerter on break. The both are establish on the same variable.
For example:
The variable value is 6%
03/02/2010 | 3350 | 7,07 %                 => OK
03/02/2010 | 1500 | 4,77 %          => OK

Would be problems with purchases, billing, and redemption option. It's not 100% exact to your issue, but it will get you to the right department.

I'm a lousy guesser so if you give more information on what year/model MPro and what MacOS version your running it'd sure help? Two different OS's two different ways to install.
If your running 10.7( Lion) then Apple no longer supports XP OR Vista and no longer makes Boot Camp drivers for them.
