    My early 2011 MBP laptop (OS Yosemite 10.2.2) recently started logging itself out.  I narrowed the problem to the external monitor which is connected with a Thunderbolt adapter. I installed Thunderbolt firmware update 1.2, that did not correct the problem. When I disconnect the external monitor, the problem went away. Is there something I can do to be able to use the external monitor again?

  • False Error in the Adapter Monitor/File Adapter

    I have a receiver file adapter that is showing a 553 Permissions error when the file is actually delivered.  This shows up in the adapter monitor and the message monitor.
    I've been looking around but I couldn't find anyone who had this problem.

    Hi Mark,
    I think this error is because of Spaces/or and Invalid Characters like  -!"£$%^&*'#... in the file name.
    Just check it. ARe you using FTP server ? or NFS ?
    If it is FTP then also check that  user has a file write permission in the FTP server
         >>Also this may be because of  you don't have righ to write the directory/file(file permissions) with the name already exists i.e overwrite rights..

  • FTPS connection error in the adapter monitoring

    Hi people,
    I make a FTPS connection and the adapter monitor give me this error:
    Error: Error connecting to ftp server 'ithppbd0':
    ConnectException: Connection timed out (errno:238)
    I use a certificate to make this connection.
    Is obligatory the use of the private key? or I can use a public key and how?
    Thanks!

    You may verify the URL, Login ID and Password with logging in via a browser or command prompt.
    Some FTP sites allow only a limited number of connections, so check with the FTP site administrator. In the adapter, make sure that you have specified the correct Connection Security and the Command Order.
    FTPS does not need the keys, unless you have specified the X.509 Cetificate for Client Authentication.
    Lastly, Make sure that the connect mode is per File Transfer.
    Hope this helps,

  • Problems using the Program Monitor

    Dear Premiere users,
    I recently bought Adobe Premiere CS3 and i'm having problems using the Program Monitor.
    I cant see anything off screen. It just wont show anything if its outside the boundaries of the screen. I can adjust the zoom level but that wont change anything even if i set it to full screen.
    Another problem I'm having is that it wont show motion paths or clip handles. Even if I make a motion path in the Effects Control window it wont show the path in the Program Monitor.
    I really appreciate any advice on this because it drives me crazy. I already tried installing it again but that wont solve the problem.
    Thanks in advance.
    Greetings,
    Peter

    First of all I hope you are being sarcastic Jim. Sorry for being not that clear but I'm not stupid :).
    Craig Howard is right. I thought that the Program Monitor was similarly to AEFX. But I suppose I was wrong on this one? So you cant get something to display outside the image area? If I place a clip outside the project dimension it just disappears in the Program Monitor.
    And about the motion paths. I thought I read in the Premiere help files that they do show up in the Program Monitor. The topic says: "Adjust position, scale, and rotation" or "Animate motion in the Program Monitor ". There are pictures over there that show clip handles and motion paths in the Program Monitor. Clicking the effect wont do anything for me. Its like my video driver cant get them to show or something.
    Edit: I found a tutorial here:
    http://digitalproducer.digitalmedianet.com/articles/viewarticle.jsp?id=26660&afterinter=tr ue
    They are dragging frames off screen and are using the handles and borders around the frame to adjust them. So I guess it should be possible, but how?
    Thanks for the help.

  • Why does iTunes not display hdcp content on my second monitor?  The adapter monitor and cable have HDCP Support.  This also occurs with a rocketfish mini display port to hdmi adapter.

    It works for a time and then fails.
    ITunes 11.04.
    iMac Purchased Early 2013.

    Seems to work when I swapped dapaters from theb 3.0 adapter to the mini display port adapter.  THis is the same thing that got it worling the first time byt in reverse.
    Had already tried clearing the PRAM.  If it occurs again, I will have to try redetecting displays next time.  Judging by what I saw reading through these forums it will happen again,

  • Problem using the adaptive firewall :  "Firewall management disabled"

    I am facing a problem that Google and man pages cannot solve : it seems that af is disabled; I don't know why and cannot enable it.
    In /var/log/system.log, I can see entries like this :

    Aug 19 08:07:14 arda emond[21852]: DoRunAction (child): setting the uid/gid to 0/0
    But ipfw tells me otherwise :
    $ ipfw list

    afctl refuses to run, giving an explicit message that i cannot find anywhere on the web :
    $ /usr/libexec/afctl -v 1 -a 202.99.122.136
    Tue Aug 19 08:09:53 arda.private afctl[22253] <Notice>: Firewall management disabled
    And of course, no new rules added in ipfw.
    Do you have any idea on what is wrong ? afctl is loaded durong boot (I didn(t change anything), but not working :
    $ launchctl list | grep afctl
    - 0 com.apple.afctl

    OK, thanks. Situation is getting better.
    Now af is enabled, and I can add IP to black and white list. I had also to enable the rule set with the -e option (not sure it will stay after reboot; man page is silent on this).
    The rules set 17 appears in ipfw list, but it seems there is still some problem for automatic blacklisting.
    I will continue to investigate the situation, but Apple provides very little documentation on this.

  • J2EE adapter monitoring problem/no error description found

    Hi!!!
    I have a problem with J2EE adapter monitoring.
    When I use SOAP adapter (receiver, asynchronous mode)
    and there is an error in Web Service (for example,
    the structure of the message is incorrect) then in Workbench
    (in an adapter monitoring) I can only find information that
    there is "application error" and nothing more
    (I searched also logs and I didn't find anything).
    But when there is an error in Web Service then
    there are details about this error in ACK message,
    for example that required tag is omitted
    (I can see this information in the TCPMonitor when
    I configure it between SOAP adapter and Web Service).
    In "old days" when I use plain Adapter Engine
    I could find all information about errors
    in Integration Engine Monitoring (sxmb_moni):
    - error message (like "application error") was in the "error" node,
    - and details about this error (like "java.io.FileNotFound" (...), for example)
    were in the "trace" node.
    I suppose there is something wrong with my eyes now that I can't see these details,
    so please tell when can I find that.
    We have SP12.

    Andrzej

  • Problems in adapter monitoring

    Hi all,
    We have a problem when we try to see the list of adapters in the adapter monitoring. It is showing only JPR adapter and the names of all the other adapters are missing.
    But we were getting the names of all adapters when we are trying to configure the adapter in the communication channel. We are working on a newly installed XI.
    Can anybody help me in this.
    Thanks in advance,
    Divija

    Hi Michal,
    We have already imported the .tpz file of SAP Basis 6.40 but still we are unable to find any adapters under the Adapter monitoring.
    When we click Adapter Monitoring, we only get JPR with a red status.  Also on clicking the JPR node, the SLD access is also having red status.  The error message is pasted hereunder:-
    Error getting JPR configuration from SLD. Exception: No entity of class SAP_BusinessSystem for XIT.SystemHome.itcxi1 found
    No access to get JPR configuration
    Kindly suggest how to get all the adapters displayed under Adapter Monitoring.  Thanks in advance.

  • Problem in adapter monitoring on newly installed pi7.0

    hello all,
           i am working on file to jms scenario. File adapter is picked the file. but jms adapter is not received. in adapter monitoring no messages are displayed. Messages are storing into smq2. in sxmb_moni Q.Status showing stop. sxi_cache showing Unable to refresh cache contents. we installed pi7.0 newly, is there any configuration problem? Plz suggest me
    Thanks

    1. initially make sure the Queus are registred ( i think it might be)
    2. the status of the message in the queue did it errored out ( System faileure ) etc SMq2
    3. data might be stuck in the queue when the reciveiver systemn is not able to retrive that...there might be some problem in the reciver adapter also...just reativate the JMS adapter....
    If the mesage in the Smq2 is failed then definatley some error in the JMS adapter side....reactivate the JMS receiver adapter...sometimes the Adapter monitoring will not show th updated status of the adapter...run the interface again and check...

  • In the rwb adapter monitoring the JDBC Adapter always grey

    Hi all
    I try to use JDBC Adapter in XI 3.0 sp14.
    First I deploy the MS SqlServer JDBC by SDM RemoteGui.I can see the deployed JDBC package in \j2ee\cluster\server0\bin\ext\com.sap.aii.af.jmsproviderlib.
    Then I create a communication Channel using JDBC 2.0 in a Business System and active the configuration.
    But when I monitor JDBC Adapter in the rwb, I find the JDBC Adapter is always grey.In the \server0\log\services\com.sap.aii.adapter.jdbc.svc, no log shows the jdbc adapter is initial.
    So what extended configuration shall i do.
    Thanks in advanced
    Elliott

    hi Alessandro,ravi:
    Thanks for your reply. I will describe detail.
    I use a file adapter as a sender and use a JDBC adapter as a receiver.
    In the sxmb_moni I find the processed message status is successful.
    So I think the integration server works fine.
    In the message monitoring, the message is waiting status.
    If I change the receiver adapter to file adapter.
    It works fine.So I think the process config is fine and the itegration server works fine. the error is in the receiver JDBC adapter side.
    I check the default trace, <b>there is error logs</b>:
    #com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.impl.core.queue.ReceiveConsumer

    In the adapter monitoring, JDBC Adapter icon is grey. I
    can't click for detail information. I only deploy the
    JDBC drivers by SDM remoteGui. What else shall I do.
    Btw, Can you say sth detail about how to test the
    deployed JDBC adapter on visual administrator?

  • Click "adapter monitoring"  cause  "The page cannot be displayed"

    At RWB, the "adapter monitoring" used to be OK.
    But now it gives
    "The page cannot be displayed".
    How to debug it?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    can you try a direct link:
    http://server:port/mdt/amtServlet ?
    BTW
    try restarting RWB (close all IE windows and open it again)

  • ModuleData.getPrincipalData returns null in the adapter module development

    Hi gurus,
    i am doing a test on the adapter module development following an article written by William Li:
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/f0ac06cf-6ee2-2c10-df98-e17430ca5949?QuickLink=index&overridelayout=true
    my problem is after the EJB has been deployed, it seems that the return of inputModuleData.getPrincipalData() is always null which makes the program can not get the xml payload from the framework.
    the main process of the example has been simplified like this:
         public ModuleData process(ModuleContext moduleContext, ModuleData inputModuleData) throws ModuleException {
              Object           obj = null;
              try {
              obj = inputModuleData.getPrincipalData();
              Message     msg1 = (Message) obj;
                    XMLPayload xmlpayload = msg1.getDocument();}
              catch (Exception e) {
                   ModuleException me = new ModuleException(e);
                   throw me;
              return inputModuleData;
    after deployed, i get the following error in the adapter monitor of RWB: (my JNDI is testtest)
    17.02.2012 17:13:44.643 Information Send binary file  "test8.xml" from FTP server "10.18.48.150:/encrypt_test/", size 206 bytes with QoS EO

              Object           obj = null;
              try {
                   obj = inputModuleData.getPrincipalData();
                   Message     msg1 = (Message) obj;
                   if (obj != null )
                        XMLPayload xmlpayload = msg1.getDocument();
              catch (Exception e) {
                   ModuleException me = new ModuleException(e);
                   throw me;
              return inputModuleData;
    the file can be read by the file adapter.
    i just quite confused that why the return of the getPrincipalData() is null? where is the problem? thanks
    Edited by: Stephen Xue on Feb 17, 2012 5:22 AM

    I'm gonna reply to myself here. I changed the processing sequence of the adapter modules in the  in the FileSender channel so that my module comes first then CallSapAdapter. Then getPrincipalData() contains the message.
    Hope this helps someone else.

  • Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapter - Monitor not recognizing

    I have a new MacBook purchased last month from Apple to replace an older MacBook. I used a Scepter X20 monitor on the previous MacBook with an adapter with no problem. With this new computer, I had to puachase a Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapter. I plugged it in as I did for the other computer, and the monitor doesn't recognize it at all. I checked the monitor by plugging it into another Mac (older version) with adapter and it works fine. Why will my Mac not recognize the monitor or the monitor recognize that it is connected?

    On the very slim chance this might be problem, it happened just last week to another poster and it's happened to me, the mini display port really takes a good shoving into the graphics card. Sometimes it will look perfectly seated in there, but it's not quite.
    Aside from throwing that out there, I would think if that wasn't the case, you may be having problems with the adapter itself. The whole mini display port is ridiculous in itself, but the two lessor expensive adapters I bought from Apple worked very poorly anyway. And on Apple displays!
    The $99 dollar one Apple sells has a reputation for working the best, but I haven't tried it. There are also devices now, still pretty expensive, that seem to bypass those altogether.
    I can't say if some other issue is going on or not, there may be. But just know you're not alone in having display problems of this kind.
