Problem in the iTunes Store - Viewing

When I first installed iTunes 9 I could see this (picture in link: http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/3190/ht13681.png) when I press on the little triangle by the right side of the "Buy bar" .
Now, for several month I see it only like that (picture in link: http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/5498/itunesl.jpg) when I press the triangle.
It became really annoying and I can't stand it anymore. Is there any way to fix it?
I try to remove and reinstall my iTunes but it didn't solve the problem.
Does it related to the fact that I use windows and not mac?

Yes, but when they first release iTunes 9 I had the same lay-out look just like the very first image http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/3190/ht13681.png .
But one day the lay-out turn to look like now as I showed you. Another thing is that on my friend iMac those options (Add To Wish List, Share On Facebook etc.) look just like the image above. Because of that I believe that I have some problem on my Windows or on my iTunes that make the lay-out to look like I show you.
Because there was a time when I had the same lay-out on my Windows.

I have a problem with the iTunes Store, I have an ipod and an iphone 2. I have a PC with Windows Vista Home Premium 2007, entering into iTunes Store on the main screen I get only AppStore, Podcast and iTunes U. In my screen I get only ipad2 Podcast, iTunes U Downloads. My problem is I can not access any application to download music, videos, books, etc..
ITunes will be installed wrong or what should I do to activate these options?

Go to the front page of the Store, and click Change Country.  Make sure it is set to the country where you actually are.
Then you will be able to see everything that is for sale in your country, which, depending where you live, might or might not include music.

  • How to solve the image display problem in the iTunes Store

    Hi guys!
I just want to give a work-around for all of you having the image display problem in the iTunes Store. In my case only the square images in the slider sections won't load:
I had this in my last W7-installation and got it again in W8 after the first few weeks.
There are a lot of reports about this problem out there and adhoc solutions like 'clear the cache' or 'reinstall and drink ice tea' that do not work. It is obviously a file request error. It is all about finding out which server addresses get blocked by your computer.
Solution: Go to your firewall and your Anti-virus-program. There must be a whitelist option. In Kaspersky, check the web-options, the banner-options and the firewall-options, because the all have whitelists. The following addresses have to be whitelisted:
    *.apple
    *.mzstatic.apple.com.akadns.net
    *.mzstatic.com.edgesuite.net
    *.da1.akamai.net
    *.itunes.apple.com
    se.itunes.apple.com
    upp.itunes.apple.com
    ax.init.itunes.apple.com
    xp.apple.com
    *.mzstatic.com
    client-api.itunes.apple.com
    www.apple.com.edgekey.net
    www.isg-apple.com.akadns.net
Press Ctrl + R in the iTunes Shop then and browse throught the music sections. All images should be displayed correctly now.
If not, there might be more Apple servers involved in your case. You can find them by running a DNS sniffing tool like the DNS query sniffer by Nirsoft or Wireshark.

Phone restarting randomly could be loose battery. Tighten by putting a small strip of electrical tape on the back edge.

  • Problems Using the iTunes store from AppleTV

Over the last month I've had large problems downloading content from the iTunes store using my AppleTV. For instance 3 weeks ago it took several attempts to rent a movie. Ever since Saturday I've been trying to purchase a season pass for Season 3 of Robot Chicken. Every time it would say "This content is being modified, please try again later." Got that again 10 minutes ago, got fed up and I went and pulled on the iTunes store on my computer and tried and it went right through, just like it should. I wanted to go this route, because if I buy it on AppleTV new episodes will be downloaded to it (I've found a way to download season pass shows I bought on AppleTV to my computer first, but not a way to do the reverse).
More importantly, I've had just numerous problems and errors purchasing content from AppleTV. As iTunes on a computer doesn't have these issues, the only thing I can figure out is that the software still isn't right.

I posted a similar problem last week about the inability to move past "See All" in Podcasts. What was happening to me was that I would click "See All" and I'd get a message saying the request could not be completed. After getting no response here, I called up an Apple Expert about the problem. When I described the problem, the Expert tried it on her Touch and ran into the same problem. She called up the iTunes folks and reported that there was a problem and they were working on getting it fixed.
A couple of days later, instead of getting the "Your response could not be completed" it went to the default Music section as you describe. They must be working on it, but don't know why it hasn't been fixed yet. The Apple Expert said to call back if the problem persists, but I haven't had the time yet.

  • Problem with the iTunes store on my ipad 2.

I have notice here in the last month that I can only download certain thing on my iPad 2. I have gone thru everything and even reset my iPad and the iTunes store is still showing that I can only download certain stuff and that go to books too. I have updated the software and everything and which my husband iphone app store can let him download everything including the free and/or the not free apps. Need to know what I should do cause i'm all out of options and i'm about to say the **** with it and go by me a tablet to use instead...

One likely cause is restrictions.  Is your iPad restricted (Settings > General > Restrictions)?

  • Is anybody else experiencing problems accessing the itunes store?

i'm on a macbook pro 10.6.8. my itunes is 10.3.1. i haven't experienced problems before, just today when i was trying to update some iphone apps.  the updates wouldn't download and it kept giving me the network timeout error.  i checked my connection and everything is working, so it's clearly not a network problem.  i also tried logging on to the app store app, and it wouldn't let me. i always get the error connection failed.  i am however logged in via itunes.  i just couldn't update apps or browse my account info, etc.
i couldn't access the itunes/app store on my iphone either.
i also browsed the various topics on here, which were similar to what i was experiencing and have tried the fixes offered but have had no luck so far.  i was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem right now? most of the topics i read date as far back at 2007-2008 =/
any help/info would be appreciated.  thank you!

    Hey

I live in France, I don't know where you're living but it seems to be a "worldwide problem"...
I'm waiting some answers, but I'm affraid that it an Apple's servers Error. The app store doesn't work on iOS (iphone 4 / 4.3.3) iTunes (MacOSX 10.6.8 iTunes 10.3.1) and on the Mac App Store too (1.0.2)
    So wait and see....
    [Update]
Now I can listen songs's extract and download Podcasts. But for the apps of App Store and Mac App Store. It's also the same thing...

  • Any idea to fix the iTunes 12.0.1.26 connectivity problem with the iTunes Store?

My operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium. Although the application works fine such as playing music, downloading app updates and music. However, when I attempted to make the connection between iTunes Store and the current version of iTunes, the iTunes window began to froze, then the error message showed that there was a problem with the application that causes it to shut down. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

    Hey *9,
Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, iTunes unexpectedly quit. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help you isolate or resolve the issue.

  • Problem after updating to iTunes 10.5 on Windows Vista.. I can no longer access the iTunes store..

    Hi
After updating to iTunes 10.5 on Windows Vista I have found that I can no longer access the iTunes store... I am left with a blank iTunes screen with the loading bar stuck at halfway..
All other features seem to work... only opening  the iTunes store is failing..
I have ran the diagnostics feature and this says everything is ok, so I'm a bit stuck
    Please help

Purple-Gecko...all that I can say is, "Boom!!!"  You are THE man/woman, whichever the case may be.
The "netsh winsock reset" command worked like a charm for my machine (running Windows XP SP3).  I have had two weeks of frustration with this issue and finally found your post which got me back online with the iTunes store.  My problem accessing the iTunes store began once I downloaded and installed iTunes 10.5 in preparation to upgrade to OS5.  Once 10.5 was installed, I could open iTunes and access everything except the store (which prevented any of my devices from being able to sync). I followed all of the suggestions that I could find in Apple Support and the suggestions that I was emailed from Apple's support techs.  I unistalled all Apple software and reinstalled iTunes multiple times, and still could not access the store.
Your suggestion is the only "cure" that I have found.
I thank you, my iPod thanks you, and my iPhone 4 thanks you for taking the time to post this fix.

  • Movies i bought from the itunes store and they wont sync to my ipod

I had bought an ipod for my daughters birthday n i had purchased several movies from the itunes store and they downloaded n they show up in my library n wheni check them to sync to her ipod....it shows a pop up block that says that it cannot be copied to this ipod cause it is not supportrd by this ipod.  my baby is really wanting to use it n I downloaded the itunes 10 & updated her ipod software to 4.3.3 i  think that i did all the necessary updated and downloads now what do i do...i've been on this comp eversince 11:00am this morning and it is still now 1:29am....i dont know....if anyone has any suggestions..they r welcomed

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

  • ITunes 10.5 on Windows 7 (32bit) doesn't display the iTunes store

    Hello there,
on my Windows 7 (32bit) system, already with iTunes 10.4 I encountered the problem that the iTunes store remained inaccessible - it simply wouldn't load/display. Problem was solved by removing all Apple software, cleaning up the registry, rebooting, reinstalling iTunes 10.4.1, and NOT installing Safari 5.x - because as soon as Safari got installed, the problem would reappear.
Now with iTunes 10.5, the problem is back. Only that this time it does not matter if Safari is installed or not - the store simply won't come up.
I've tried the whole support articles suggestions up and down - to no avail.
It's not a problem of firewall, antivirus, hosts file etc. - the diagnose function says clearly that even https is OK, all settings in the internet options are right, etc. etc. - I've spent days on that, and believe me, I'm sure about it.
The diagnose function says, however, than QuickTime would not be available. No matter if QuickTime IS installed or not, before or after iTunes 10.5 that says it would neither contain nor need QuickTime anymore.
After cleaning out all Apple software and its traces, a reboot, and a reinstallation of iTunes 10.4.1, the store is accessible again - only that iTunes 10.4.1 can't use my iPhone with iOS 5 on it.
So I'm either stuck with an iTunes that CAN access the store, but can NOT sync my iPhone, or with one that CAN syn my iPhone, but can NOT access the store.
Besides, with iTunes 10.5, the separately installed iCloud control panel app simply won't come up - I can click until I get blue in the face...
Obviously, for iCloud control panel, although it is only listed as "recommended", it seems it's actually "required" to have Outlook 2007 or 2010 - and I have Outlook 2003 and do NOT intend to switch to a higher MS Office package.
I got an appointment at the Apple Store nearby now for Wednesday noon - to revert my iPhone to iOS 4. Then I could at least go on using the iPhone until again the first apps won't support iOS 4 any longer, as it happened shortly after the launch of iOS 4 when iOS 3.1.3 wasn't supported any longer.
Oh, I forgot to mention - during the update/upgrade to iTunes 10.5 / iOS 5, the sync destroyed my recent backup and hung - the only way out was to kill the backup process and continue, which resulted in a "new", blank phone. Lost some years' app data and a lot of important bookmarks that way.
Needless to say that the iPhone was my last Apple product ...

    Peter Hah
After spending another two days on pinning down the iTunes 10.5 blank store page problem, here's the solution to be found: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3372617?start=0&tstart=0
    Look out for "japiohelp".
    In short:
    a) press Windows key + "R", enter "cmd", and press Ctrl+Shift+Enter (= runs as admin)
    b) enter "netsh winsock reset" and pres enter
    c) reboot the computer
    and Bob's your uncle.
