Problem in the new iPad (3) & iOS 6

Hi guys ,
I have problem with my new iPad 3 , when I use it for a long time I feel warmly , it increasing gradually !
Is that normal ?
I did not I would like to upgrade to iOS 6 , but it's done automatically !
How can I stop automatic update or upgrade ?
After iOS 6 upgrading the battery draining to much than iOS 5.1.1 especially when I use Cellular , and YouTube app and google maps app missing :(
Now I'm thinking seriously to downgrade from iOS 6 to iOS 5.1.1 , but how can I do that ?

You can't downgrade, it's not supported by Apple.
iPad 3 runs warmer than previous units, it's normal, especially, if you run graphic intensive apps for long periods. Turn your brigthness down if you have it all the way up.
If you're battery life is reduced, you likely have something running in the background that isn't shutting down. It could be push mail constantly looking for mail (you can turn it off in settings) and I would recommend a reboot: Press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time for at least 10 seonds (ignore the red slider to shut down) until the Apple Logo appeare, then let go of both buttons and your iPad will restart.
If you use the search bar, you'd see that Google Maps and YouTube are no longer included in iOS6. Please do some research for reasons. But you can add Google Maps to your home screen, by opening Safari and typing in maps.google.com and when it opens, a box will pop up asking if you want to save this shortcut to your home screen. And there is a YouTube iPhone app from Google available in the App Store. Google will soon have an iPad version available, but this will work OK for you until the iPad version is released.

I assume that you will have to set up as new since it will not let you restore from the backup. Then after you set it up, you can restore from the iCloud backup. The backup should not disappear be use you are setting this device up as new. Your backup should still be in iCloud.
However, after you activate the iPd and update the software, you will have to erase the device in order to restore from the Cloud backup, that is the only way to get to the iCloud backup.

Upgraded my iPhone 4s and The New iPad to iOS 6 and cannot log into my Universities wifi!

Just as it states above. I just updated my iPhone 4S and The New iPad to iOS 6. I tried logging into my Universities wifi network and normally it requires a login page. The page to login does not load like it used to. The page that does pop up shows a bunch of errors. Not sure why this would be happening. Please help! I highly depend on my iPad. Thanks in advance.

The wifi does not automatically load upon entering the school. I have to select it from the list of available wifi connections. I tried re-booting, clearing my internet settings (cache and cookies and history). I know others at the school running 5.1 are still able to connect so I know there's not an issue on the schools side. I did talk to several iOS 6 owners today and all are experiencing the same issue.

Problems with the new iPad and Joikuspot premium after iOS 6

Hi,
I'm experiencing serious problems with my new iPad after last iOS update. Usually I was connecting to the internet through Joikuspot premium on Nokia mobile phone (E6). I was able to do everything, https sites surfing, absolutely everything with no exceptions.
Now, after iOS 6 update, I can't connect to https sites, google+, sync calendar etc.
I've tried to change connection criteria on joikuspot but nothing. The fact is also that other devices as laptop or other smartphones are still working perfectly, in any case, sharing the wi-fi connection created by joikuspot.
Finally the problem is 100% due to the iPad and the new iOS.
disappointing, amateur for such a device... (iPad I mean).
Any help?

Is anyone having a problem with the new iPad (Gen. 3) not staying connected to the charger? It seems to ALWAYS get jiggled loose and no longer be charging. My iPad 1 has no issue but I can't browse Internet w/o new iPad unplugging. Horrible!

I notice that my new IPad (3rd generation) will not stay connected to the power cord at all, I'm not exagerating, if I plug it in and browse the Internet without fail it will become unplugged and I will have to push the plug back in (Ba-beep). Ive actually grown to despise that sound when you plug your iPhone or iPad in because it reminds me of how much money I spent on something that PHYSICALLY will not charge while I'm using it.
I know the problem with it holding a charge while in use, I get it, the screen is amazing and it takes a lot to run the display, however, it is unacceptable to me that I can't even keep the thing plugged in while I'm using it. I can not even leave it on my Cal King bed overnight because I will wake up in the morning to find that the plug has been jiggled loose in a corner, so it's still attached but not making a connection thus not being charged.
I love the 4GLTE from Verizon and I love the iPad, but I'm actually using my 1st generation IPad while I am at home so I can leave my new $900 iPad on a table to charge free of incident so I can use the 4G while I'm away from wifi during the day. I have been getting more upset about this because I can not even use the Griffin extended cord to charge the iPad and be far from the plug because only the original apple sync/charge cord will have a better shot at staying in. Absolutely none of my non apple cables will stay in the iPad 3 while having it in my hands.
The plug is at an angle, unlike the first iPad, not sure about the iPad 2. Please let me know if they have same issue.
If anyone else is having this problem with the Gen 3 iPad please let me know because I'm tempted to do something about it with apple and I'm hoping that I just for some reason have a bad cable receiver or something and maybe I can get a replacement and enjoy the iPad as I had expected to. There is no reason why I should be even using my first iPad and I have friends that want to buy it but I am not selling it because I'm unable to sell it because I can't handle the new iPad while it's plugged in, that is ridiculous if it's a common issue so please let me know!

Thanks for the swift reply, I have been looking online and a loose plug seems to be somewhat of an issue with many, I hope mine is actually a problem and not what others are experiencing. It's taken me this long to even reach out for the simple fact I HATE being a complainer but this is just horrible.
Do you have an iPad 3 as well? And is yours not experiencing any issues close to mine?

I had my iPad 2 replaced by Apple today. All my backup was iCloud and so proceeded to restore from iCloud backup point but couldn't proceed as the new iPad needed iOS 7. How can I get I get around this?

I had my iPad 2 replaced by Applestore today. On the new iPad I tried to restore from iCloud backup point but was told I was unable to do this as the new iPad needed to have the latest running system iOS 7 loaded. Is there a way I can do this so I can get my iCloud backup or do I need to go back to Applestore and get an iPad preloaded with iOS 7?

If you feel comfortable you can do the Update to iOS 7 yourself and after you have successfully done that... then Restore your iCloud Back Up.
If you are not comfortable in doing it yourself... Then go back to the Apple Store and get them to do it.
They will be Happy to assist you.

Is anyone having problems with the new ipad staying connected to wi fi

My new Ipad 4G + WI FI keeps losing the connection to the internet. I have to continuously type in the password to our WI FI. Is anyone else having this problem? I didn't have it with the Ipad 2.

The iPad 3 already has Siri, it's the first and second gen that don't as they don't have the noise cancellation hardware within them. If you are a registered developer then you should be asking questions about iOS 7 in the developer forums : https://devforums.apple.com/index.jspa

try this.. go to settings, then choose itunes and Appstore, then click on the bar at the top that has your AppleID... choose sign out... then relog in and everything should be fine.

I just got a replacement for my broken iPad mini from asurion, and I backed it up. But the problem is, my broken iPad mini has iOS 7 and all my data is in iOS 7 form, and I want to transfer it to the new iPad mini. How would I do it?

I've just received the replacement today, and I restored it from a backup I made back in July when my old iPad didn't have iOS 7. 1. Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings

Yes, turn by turn directions is available on the new ipad. I've tried it and it does work.

Wifi problem with the connection of The New Ipad (4G)

I just bough the new ipad ( 2 weeks ago), when i'm at home i usually use wifi connection and it goes w\o problem.
But today after the battery empty, i rechard it like i do,
and while recharing it i tried to update my skype and line apps so i notice this my update went slowly than it usually takes
(it took 20 - 30 mins for one update to be done). I thought
it was because of my internet, so i checked it with my pc but with the pc the internet goes without the problem.
I check other apps again (like youtube, facebook and such..) but everything same so slowly but it has connection.
but with Line it said "please make sure you have internet connection"
so is there anybody who has the same trouble? or any solutions?

Usually it's because you are not making internet connection via wifi.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

My iPad 3 (the new iPad) can't find the update to iOS 6! I know iOS 6 has already been released as my iPhone 4S is currently running n iOS 6, but whenever I run software update on my iPad, all it says is 'iOS 5.1.1, your software is up to date.' any suggestions to this problem?

Problem solved. Saw the solution in a more recent post. Downloaded a free app, then all my other apps started to work again.
