Problem in the stock report

Hi all,
We have stock report.There is one problem in the report.We are using
"2LIS_03_BF" and " 2LIS_03_UM " as data source and " 0AFMM_C02" as info source.
When i run the report with material as row its giving me the correct result.But when i pass plant into row then it shows me only few plants. Only option to check the stock at plant level is that i have to select all the records. this is working in the development server but not in produciton... as there are many records... in the production...
i am not able to understand what is the logic behind it... its happening even if i create a new query....
Can you suggest me any option ...

Fabiano, here is what I understand of the issue:
1) You are using CR XI (I am not sure if release 1 or release 2)
2) you are using .NET 2005
3) you are trying to change the server name, but the report keeps giving you data from the original server
Please answer the following:
1) Are you using CR XI release 1 or release 2?
2) Can you change to the new server, using the Crystal Reports Designer?
3) Can you duplicate the issue on your development computer?
4) What Crystal Reports service pack are you on?
5) Are you connecting to the database using OLE DB?

Is anyone having problems with the stock widget not updating?

Widgets unfortunately have gone by the wayside since Apple introduced the App Store a couple years ago. No widget has received any official recognition in the Apple listing of Widgets since that time. So it is entirely possible the widget has gotten redirected. There are many other Apps for stocks. I personally like the Nasdaq Quote website since it knows mutual funds and other markets as well.

Problem configuring the OBIEE Report Viewer Portlet to Oracle Portal!

Hierarchy indentation problem in the sql report region

I've the following sql statement in sql report region. it works fine by bringing the all the users reporting to a manager correctly. In the sample user table below manager/id are in parent/child relationship.
select id from user_table start with upper(id)=upper(:p332_person_short_id) connect by prior id = manager

where user2 and user3 are reporting to user1.
But I want to give some indentation between the user levels to show the hierarchy clearly in the report as below
user1
user2
user3
I tried with the following statment. It does indent the users correctly but in hierarchy is reversed.

the output is

Any help is appreciated.

I think padding with blanks will not work in HTML. You will have to pad with "Â ".
So, something like this should work:
select replace(lpad('@',6*(level-1),'@'),'@','&nbsp;')||id "User" from ....

Problem With the BI reports iviews in EHP 1.0 for Maintenance

Hi All,
We are using EHP1.0. In the portal for BI report i have to make visible/Invisible the BI report iview According to user.
Is it possible to remove all the active queries except the ones relating to notifications from the maintenance Tasks Iview? Could you provide a step by step please?
In the Reports section and the Service Map section, there are many BI reports but the customer does not have BI.
1) How to hide these reports Iview by changing the launchpad ?
2) is it possible to do this globally so all users do not see these?
Kindly help me with your valuble suggestion or document related to that issue.

Why this behaviour. Why the "Classpath" entry should
not be the last line in the manifest file.
That is a question for the people at Sun. The behaviour is not specific to Class-Path. The last line of the Manifest is not read unless it ends with a newline.

Problem showing the crystal report viewer in form after added the component on it

I have a problem running a program. I created a form which I added the component Crystal Report Viewer perfecty but during program execution when I call that form my VS 2012 Ultimate show the following error:
Translated:
Failed to create the form. See Exception.InnerException for details. Error: An exception occurred in the type initializer for 'CrystalDecisions.Shared.SharedUtils'.
Note: If I remove the component from the form. the applications runs fine when calling the form without the component CrystalReportViewer
It is something related to my VS? o just that the actual version 13.0.9 is not yet compatible?

Unassigned nodes in the Stock report

Dear Gurus,
 We designed a "Stock Overview Report -Vendor wise".Now,we got 2 issues.The report output is as follows:
Vendor Batchno. MaterialNo. 0quantityTotalStock
 ABC HA123 MAT001 -20
 HB124 MAT002 -10
Unassigned HC120 MAT003 40
 RESULT 10.
Checked in MB5B,for each material and the values(-ve stock and Unassigned stock)eg..(-10+40=30),values are right.
Issue1
 Why do i get these Negative Values for stock against Vendor,whereas there's no Negative values against Unassgned??
 Issue2
 Client(SAP Consultant aswell)! doesnt want the "Unassigned"node and goes on to say that the report is wrong ,if Unassigned gets displayed!!
Am really stuck up with this for more than 2weeks,still unable to move ahead.Any Light on this would be really appreciative.

Problem where the adobe report has pages rotated randomly

Please assist. I use PDF 995 to generate PDF reports. When I open the reports, the pages are rotated randomly and if I rotate the page or pages affected, the rest of the pages that were correct are now re-rotated. Very frustrating. I have attached an example

Error while running the financial report in the workspace.

Hi,
Im getting the below error while running the financial report in the workspace in HTML mode.
*"Required application module reporting.HRRunDlg is not configured. Please contact your administrator".*
And im not able to login to the Hyperion Financial Reporting as well.. i get the below error
*"You are not authorized to use this functionality. Contact your administrator"*
Can someone let me know how to resolve this error.

You don't mention the version, what app server or web server you are using, etc.. That information might be helpful, but in general, you can try the following:
1. Make sure you have gone through the FR Web App deployment steps and verify the settings entered in the Config Tool.
2. For version 11.1.1.x and 9.3.1.x, try opening the report in FR Studio and running it via the FR Studio Print Preview (*bold*not*bold* Web Preview.) If the report runs/processes, then the back-end FR Services are functioning and the issue is confined to the web interface. Verify the FR Web App is up and listening on the designated port (8200, by default), check the FR Web App logs and the App Server (WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, OAS) logs for errors/issues.
If the report fails to process in FR Studio Print Preview, then there is a problem with the FR Reporting Server Service. Check to make sure the service is up/functioning and check the FR Report Server logs for errors.
3. Test access to other FR functionality in workspace (ex: Files->Preferences->Financial Reporting or Explore->Tools->Database Connection Manager?) If these don't work, then try to connect to the following URLs:
http://workspaceServer:19000/hr/status.jsp
http://frWebAppServer:8200/hr/status.jsp
Note: The URLs above assume standard/default ports. You may need to adjust them for your environment.
If the first URL fails, but the second URL works, there is a problem with the HTTP redirect settings on the Web Server (Apache, IIS, etc.) Run through the Workspace deployment and make sure the Web Server Config settings point to the right ports/servers.

Stock report for a specific date.

Hi Gurus,
Can any one please tell me if there is any option is SAP by which i can get the stock status for a particular day. I mean if i want to check what was the stock report on last week some day, is there an option in SAP to do that. This report should give the stock of that day and any movements after that day should not be included in that report, for example if 10 quantity of a material was available on 26/03/09 and 5 were either moved or consumed, can i get the status in past for 26/03/09 today as quantity 10 rather than quantity 5 which is available today.

Standard stock report for Stock Commitments

Hi gurus,
Is there any standard report available to see the Stock like Reserved qty,stock transfer,scheduled for delivery against each batch in a same transaction like MMBE.
In MMBE by selecting the Read Stock Commitments indicator we can get.
the constrain is here we can able to see against only one material.
if i goto MB52 i am not getting the above said stock type.

MMBE can be used as a report for individual material & MB5B is very useful Transaction Code as stock report for multiple material. It requires to be explored more & more, so that most of the stock report as per requirement is avialble.
