Problem in transaction SWWL.
Hello Experts,
I have a BPM which has two parts like -
Send TaxConditions & send freight charges.
These two inputs are differentiated using field KSCHL correlation is maintained using the same field.
The BPM is working fine for Taxconditions , they are posted succesfully on target side.
I am facing problem for freight charges.
A old process which once reached till the process completed status, has blocked the way for other following messages.
In sxmb_moni on outbound side i get the status as green flag. On clicking on to PE link in the message i get the massage as
" Message XXXXXXXXXXX held at process YYYYYYYYYYY but not yet processed"
On clicking ok, another popup is displayed with title "WDTTREE" & message
can not use node of type Leaf as parent
Last Error node key : ZZZZZZZZ
On checking ZZZZZZZZ in SXMB_MONI_BPE : it displays a task with type background & text " Trigers a process alert in background" .
I tried to delete it using SWWL , found that there is not a single entry in transaction SWWL. Tried removing all the criterias, but failed to find any entry in SWWL.
Please help me into this. Suggest me if there is any other way to clear off this process so that further messages are processed.
Thanks in advance,
Abhijeet.
Hello Frnds,
Thanks for sugestions but i have tried with all the criteria's , but no use. I have the Work item id of the error'd work item , which has blocked the way for others - it is not available in SWWL but is available in SXMB_MONI_BPE.
Some time back I have deleted all the work items with status error or In process for long time - during this particular period.May be during this, required workitem is deleted from SWWL but , in that case it should have been cleared off completely from system. It can be still viewed through SXMB_MONI_BPE.
Is it possible to completely remove/delete this work item using some other transaction / fm / program other than SWWL, since it has been removed now from SWWL?

Problem with transacted JMS connection factory and transaction timeouts
We encountered an interesting problem using transacted JMS connection factories.
An EJB starts a container managed transaction and tries to validate a credit card
before creating some information to a database for the user, in case of success
an SMS is sent to the user via the transacted JMS queue. If the credit card authentications
duration is about the same as the transactions timeout (in this case the default
30 seconds) sometimes the database inserts is committed but the JMS insert is
rollbacked. How can this be?
If the authorization duration is much longer than 30 seconds everything works
fine (both database and JMS inserts rollbacked), the same is true if a rollback
is insured by calling EJBContext.setRollbackOnly(). The problem thus occurs only
if the duration is approximately the same as the transaction timeout, it appears
that the database insert is not timeouted but the JMS insert is. How can this
be if they are both participating in the same transaction.
The JMSConnectionFactory used is a Connection factory with XA-enabled. The result
is the same also with the default "javax.jms.QueueConnectionFactory" and if we
configure our own factory with user transactions enabled.
Any help appreciated!

Make sure that your session is not "transacted". In other words,
the first parameter to createSession() must be false. There is an
unfortunate name re-use here. If a session is "transacted", it
maintains an independent "inner transaction" independent of the
outer transaction. From the above description, it seems unlikely
that your application has this wrong, as you say that
"setRollbackOnly" works - but please check anyway.
Make sure that you are using a true XA capable driver and database
(XA "emulation" may not suffice)
Beyond the above, I do not see what can be going wrong. You
may want to try posting to the transactions and jdbc newsgroups. Note
that JMS is appears to be exhibiting the correct behavior, but the
JDBC operation is not. The JDBC operation appears to have
its timeout independent of the transaction monitor's timeout.

Problems with transaction CJ20N
Hello Experts,
I have created a tooling asset with transaction AS01 and I have some problems with transaction CJ20N.
I would like to know how can we Link the Asset already created with the WBS by transaction CJ20N.
Thanks
FerdawsHi Ferdaws,
In the asset master (AS02) you can maintain the WBS element in Time Dependent data.
For maintaining the WBS element in asset master, first you have to make WBS element optional entry in Screen Layouts for Asset master data.
Kindly check with this.

Problem with Transaction-Duration Dialog
Hello All,
I wonder if somebody could shed a light on the problem that we're having
with transaction-duration dialog service object. The problem is this.
When we call the service object and its SQL statement fails (for
example, because of constraint violation) Forte raises AbortException.
It also clears the error stack, so we have no way to know what caused
it, original error ("ORA -... Constraint Violation") disappears. All we
get is this:
USER ERROR: Access to a load balanced router member (which is a service
object) failed for the reasons below.

Has anyone experienced this problem with "transaction-duration" service
object? Is there any way to find out the cause of "AbortException"? It
seems impossible to catch the AbortException on the server partition,
looks like Forte exits right away.
Everything works fine with "message-duration" dialog, unfortunately it
is not an option for us because of the way our batch programs were
designed.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Searchable thread archive <URL:http://pinehurst.sageit.com/listarchive/>thanks Peter for trying to help
ok, i've narrowed down the problem, it seems that when i try and save a file onto one partition of one of my ext drives it won't save to my last save dir but if i save to another partition/drive it works ok, also if i rename the 'dodgy' partition it also seems to work ok, so somehow the name of the drive has become corrupted.
anybody ever heard of this? or how i could fix this as it's a quite annoying because alot of my audio files are referenced on this partition, so itunes or Cubase (audio sequencer) can't find my files now. -

and similar traces for ContactInfo, CreditCard, Account, Profile, ...
I nevertheless get to the main screen of the Petstore as if everything
worked well. In fact, it seems like the DB got populated somewhat
correctly; only tbe named sequence tables are unchanged (btw: are the
named sequences expected to be auto-created with
create-default-dbms-tables enabled ?). The strange thing is that every
correct row (in my case having the even IDs) is followd by an all (except the
odd numbered ID field) "NULL" row. This does not happen in all
...EJBTABLEs --- Address and ContactInfo for example are affected, but Profile
is not.
It seems as if ordering a rattlesnake would work well, even though more
of the same type of Execptions appear in the jdbc log. I suspect that the
trouble will start when the 10 cached ID are exhausted.
Any ideas?
KaiI just tried the Petstore 1.3 example provided with WLS 7.0.0.1 and found
petty much the same exception after enabling the jdbc log:
java.sql.SQLException: The transaction is no longer active (status = Committed). No further JDBC access is allowed within this transaction.

Performance problem with transaction log
We are having some performance problem in SAP BW 3.5 system running on MS SQL server 2000.The box is sized 63,574 MB. The transaction logs gets filled up after loading data in to a transactional cube or after doing selective deletion. The size of the transaction log is 7,587MB currently.
Basis team feels that when performing either loading or selective deletion, SQL server views it as a single transaction and doesn't commit until every record is written. And so as a result, transaction logs fills up ultimately bringing the system down.
The system log shows a DBIF error during the transaction log fill up as follows:
Database error 9002 at COM
> [9002] the log file for database 'BWP' is full. Back up the
> Transaction log for the database to free up some log space.
Function COMMIT on connection R/3 failed
Perform rollback
Can we make changes to Database to make commit action frequently? Is there any parameters we could change to reduce the packet size? Is there some setting to be changed in SQL server?
Any Help will be appreciated.if you have disk space avialable you can allocate more space to the transaction log.

Problem creating transactional iview for BW system
Hi gurus
We are facing one problem creating a transactional iview for a BW 3.5 system . We wanto to call transaction SU01 in our BW system using an iview. When we use SAP for html, we have all the menu on the iview , I mean the same result as if we use smen, not SU01.
And if we use SAP GUI , we are always having the same GUI Error

Please, can you help us?
Thanks in advance and best regards. Thanks Bala for your quick reply. I´ve tried with function module RSBB_URL_PREFIX_GET and all the settings were OK. Still the same result.
Adding more information. We have another WAS 6.40 server with different Module(we have RM and XRPM , not BW) and we are having the same problems. I am wondering if its related with some special config or activation
Maybe I´ve forgot some service activation in SICF? I´m able to reach the SMEN, but not the SU01
or I´m missing some config elsewhere?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards.

Problem with transaction MD4C?
Hello everybody,
I have developed an interactive report which has a field on clicking which the control should transfer to a transaction (MD4C) which consists of SIX tabs.
I have written a small BDC for the same and when i try to run it behaves in different ways in different systems.
For eg,when i run on my system one tab is getting highted and when i run on another system another tab is getting highlighted.
And so the BDC that i wrote for a particular flow is not working.
Can anybody suggest a solution for this problem?
Helpful answers will surely be rewarded.
Regards,
Sanghamitra.hi,
it has to do with the resolution of your monitor
when u start bdc recording .
in recording parameters there is :
default size : uncheck it.
plz reward points if it helps.

Problem w. transaction notSupported / releasing JDBC connections
We are making a call from our EJB client to a stateless session EJB (1) with transaction attribute 'Required' for all methods. From this EJB (1) we get a JDBC connection from the pool and do some JDBC calls (no updates). We then make a call to a method in another stateles session EJB (2) with transaction attribute 'NotSupported' for all methods. In EJB2 we get a JDBC connection from the pool and do some JDBC calls (no updates). Something goes wrong and we catch a SqlException. We then throw a EJBException. So far everything is OK. But now we get a SqlException from the transaction: 'java.sql.SQLException: Connection is currently associated with xid: 970661671558_182.Rollback attempted in the scope of a different transaction'. It seems like the container tries to perform a rollback on the EJB tat doesn't support transactions. Shouldn't the transaction have been suspended when we entered the method in EJB2? Our problem is that the JDBC connection we got from the pool doesn't get released even though we closed it in a finally-statement in both EJB:s. So after some time we are out of free JDBC connections in our connection pool. Does anyone know why this happens?

CUMULATIVE DISPLAY button it will go to G/L Account LIne Item Display list
Here i have to add CUSTOMER field (sold to party or partner) And NAME field in
the list beside G/L account and company code fileds
Please let me know how to proceed.
shall i have to do any back ground setting or
i have to copy the program in to Z program
then modify?
urgent requirement
please let me know
thanksHi Ramesh,
Generally we try to use some userexits to add new fields. if there are no userexits to add a the field then we can try to lookout for some OSS notes attached with the transaction to see if SAP has provided some solution for this problem.
Even if it cant be done then one solution is to create a Z program and use it and other solution is to get the access key and modify the SAP code (Not recomended).
Hope that this gives you some idea regarding how to proceed.

WLS 8.1
<JDBCTxDataSource EnableTwoPhaseCommit="true"
JNDIName="JDBCDataSource" Name="JDBCDataSource"
PoolName="JDBCConnectionPool" Targets="myserver"/>
WLS 7.0
<JDBCDataSource JNDIName="JDBCDataSource" Name="JDBCDataSource" PoolName="JDBCConnectionPool"/>
Because JDBCDataSource is the default datasource when you create a new datasource in WLS7.0, JDBCTXDataSource is the default datasource in WLS8.1.
After I changed the config.xml, it's ok!
