Problem in transfering data from DSO to InfoCube

Hi,
I am trying to transfer data from DSO to Infocube. But it is giving the following message.
Last delta update is not yet completed
Therefore, no new delta update is possible.
You can start the request again
if the last delta request is red or green in the monitor (QM activity)
It is not allowing to load data to InfoCube from DSO. I checked the request number. But there is no request number in InfoCube. If request no is there I can delete the request from InfoCube and delete the data mart status in DSO and reload again.But there is no request id in IC. So plz guide me how I can tranfer data to InfoCube overcoming this problem.
Actually further updata was running from DSO to IC. But it failed. Executing Function Module : RSPC_PROCESS_FINISH, I set the chain green before loading
data to InfoCube. So it starts executing the next chain. So there is no request id. So plz guide me how I can retain this request id.

Hi Reddy,
Make the QM Status Red of the failed request even if it is red.
and then run the same infopackage used in the chain. This will ask for repeat of last delta.
If this process is understood to u then its fine otherwise read below:
the other option is check if this failed request is present in PSA. If it is present in PSA then update the failed request from PSA, here u wont need to do a repeat of last delta. This Option is easier. this u can do from the ,manage tab of the data source I think this u might be surely knowing....

Hi,
Go to RSRQ and enter the request then execute. This should bring you to Monitor u2013 Administration Workbench. From there you will see the InfoSource (usually has u201C8u201D as a prefix). Get the InfoSource name. Go to RSA1 to find the InfoSource. From here it gets a bit tricky. Go to the datasource and drill down to the related InfoPackage. Go to Infopackage scheduling. Then go to Scheduler Menu, the Initialization Options for Source System should be open. You can see from there the request with error. Let me know if this answers your question.

Issue while loading of data from DSO to InfoCube

Hi Experts,
Can you tell me what might root casue if data is coming into DSO from R3 its correct and fine as required but while loading it to InfoCube from DSO its showing wrong data like some of Line Items that were closed were shown open in Cube AND also KF values were not right
Also there is no Routine code involved b/w DSO and InfoCube.

Hope you didnt delete some req from DSO without deleting change log . This might cause inconsistency.
If so , delete data from dso by right click delete data and reload .

Shortdump problem for loadinf data from ODS to InfoCube

im trying to load the data from ODS to InfoCube.But i got the following error like below
Short dump in the Warehouse
Diagnosis
The data update was not completed. A short dump has probably been logged in BW providing information about the error.

"Caller 70" is missing.
Further analysis:
Search in the BW short dump overview for the short dump belonging to the request. Pay attention to the correct time and date on the selection screen.
You get a short dump list using the Wizard or via the menu path "Environment -> Short dump -> In the Data Warehouse".
Error correction:
Follow the instructions in the short dump.</b>
I looked at the shortdump.But it says that there is no shortdump for that particular date selection.

Why does the error occurs ?
This error normally occurs whenever BW encounters error and is not able to classify them. There could be multiple reasons for the same
o Whenever we are loading the Master Data for the first time, it creates SIDs. If system is unable to create SIDs for the records in the Data packet, we can get this error message.
o If the Indexes of the cube are not deleted, then it may happen that the system may give the caller 70 error.
o Whenever we are trying to load the Transactional data which has master data as one of the Characteristics and the value does not exist in Master Data table we get this error. System can have difficultly in creating SIDs for the Master Data and also load the transactional data.
o If ODS activation is taking place and at the same time there is another ODS activation running parallel then in that case it may happen that the system may classify the error as caller 70. As there were no processes free for that ODS Activation.
o It also occurs whenever there is a Read/Write occurring in the Active Data Table of ODS. For example if activation is happening for an ODS and at the same time the data loading is also taking place to the same ODS, then system may classify the error as caller 70.
o It is a system error which can be seen under the Status tab in the Job Over View.
What happens when this error occurs ?
The exact error message is System response "Caller 70" is missing.
It may happen that it may also log a short dump in the system. It can be checked at "Environment -> Short dump -> In the Data Warehouse".
What can be the possible actions to be carried out ?
If the Master Data is getting loaded for the first time then in that case we can reduce the Data Package size and load the Info Package. Processing sometimes is based on the size of Data Package. Hence we can reduce the data package size and then reload the data again. We can also try to split the data load into different data loads
If the error occurs in the cube load then we can try to delete the indexes of the cube and then reload the data again.
If we are trying to load the Transactional and Master Data together and this error occurs then we can reduce the size of the Data Package and try reloading, as system may be finding it difficult to create SIDs and load data at the same time. Or we can load the Master Data first and then load Tranactional Data
If the error is happening while ODS activation cause of no processes free, or available for processing the ODS activation, then we can define processes in the T Code RSCUSTA2.
If error is occurring due to Read/Write in ODS then we need to make changes in the schedule time of the data loading.
Once we are sure that the data has not been extracted completely, we can then go ahead and delete the red request from the manage tab in the InfoProvider. Re-trigger the InfoPackage again.
Monitor the load for successful completion, and complete the further loads if any in the Process Chain.

Hi All,
Could you please help me any one to resolve the below error.
*"Fixed value discrepancy with InfoObject 0FISCVARNT value 'K4 ', expected 'K2 " (MessageClass RSAU).
We have two Staging DSO's upto Second level DSO FiscalyearVariant both K2 and K4 updating, but second level DSO to infocube data loading we had a above problem. all are direct mapping, no routiunes or constants at all transformation level.
But we checked R/3 side both K2 and K4 variants are available.

Hi,
It's a constant issue I met before. I guess you have assigned a constant value K2 in your target ODS.
Please change the constant back. Go to RSA1, change target ODS, find 0FISCVARNT, right click it and choose 'Provider-specific Properties', remove K2 from 'Constant'.
Now try the reload and I'm sure no more issues. If you really want the constant then you have to change data or transformation.
p.s. Don't forget re-activating transformations and DTP

Error while loading data from DSO to Infocube

Hi all,
I'm loading data from flat file to the cube via a DSO. I get an error in the DTP.
The data loads to the DSO, i'm able to see the contents in the active data table.
Transformation from DSO to Cube is activated without any errors. Its a one to one mapping. No routines used.
When i execute the DTP ( i use full load option as it is a one time load) i get the following error in DTP: All of which are Red.
Process Request
Data Package 1: Error during processing
Extract from DSO XXXXX
Processing Terminated
The long text of the error gives the msg: Data package 1: Processed with errors RSBK257

Problem in transferring data from iPad 2 to iPad Air

I just got a new iPad Air. I naturally wanted to transfer as much of the data as possible from my old iPad 2 (then to wipe the old iPad and pass it on).
I read all the advice on line about changing.
I did full and successful back ups of the iPad 2 to iTunes and to the cloud (I've always done regular backups throughout).
Upon starting the new iPad Air, I selected it to download the saved iPad 2 backup to my new platform.
Unfortunately, I found that whilst some data has been copied across to the new platform, some hasn't.
I think that all my music has been moved ok.
However, whilst my apps also seem to have been moved....the progress that I have made within the apps is totally missing. It's as if all the games etc are starting from the very beginning. Is this how it must be?
Also, a few of the screenshots and photos have appeared on the new iPad but the vast majority are absent.
My Google mail account is showing in the new iPad but not my other 3 mail accounts though this isn't a big problem as I can easily add the missing accounts.
It's very frustrating as I had made huge progress with some games (over 3 to 4 years) and my pictures are important to me.
Did I do something fundamentally wrong?
Is it recoverable?
I spent a lot of money to upgrade my iPad, and I currently wonder whether it was a mistake. At the moment I feel like I will need to retain the old and the new iPads which wasn't really part of the plan.
Any advice would be appreciated.

First. You cannot transfer game progress from device to device. As far as I know, no games do that, unless it's a game like Words with Friends, etc.
Are your photos in the iCloud? You can download them that way. Another option is by using a third party software to upload to your computer, and then upload to your new iPad Air. I've used a program that does this because I've had a lot of different device and it's a one time payment but the software is always free to update. You can back up literally everything and is faster than an iTunes backup.
You didn't do anything wrong. If there are pictures you want, you can always imessage them to yourself. Lol, if it's not a ton. But like I said, a third part software is the easiest and fastest. If you google it you would find some software.
Or upload the photos to a site like photobucket and then you can download the whole album.
Just a few alternatives.

Problem while transfering data from form to excel

I have a little problem. I have a procedure that fires on when-button-pressed trigger that goes to current block and download the data into an excel file.
The block has 2200 records.
The problem is that if I make the application visible all is ok; if I make the application not visible it remains "append" and nothing happens.

Data not loading for new Fields InfoObjects from DSO to InfoCube

Hi Gurus -
               I have a DataSource that is providing data to existing DSO then to Infocube. My client asked me to added couple fields to DataSource and get the data to DSO and then DSO to InfoCube.
Here is the Old scenarion:   DataSource -> DSO -> InfoCube.
Here is the New Scenation:
     DataSource ( Added new fields) -> DSO (added new InfoObjects for Corresponding DataSource FIelds) -> InfoCube( Added new InfoObjects to mapped from DSO)
I added the new fields to DataSource, added the corresponding InfoObjects to DSO and InfoCube.
I successfully loaded data from DataSource to DSO. Data is populating for the new Fields/InfoObjects in DSO.
But when I load data from DSO to InfoCube, I don't see any data for New Fields InfoObjects in the InfoCube.
Data from DSO to InfoCube is loading fine for the Old InfoObjects Fields but not for the New InfoObjects I added in InfoCube.

Hi,
Why dont u debug the load through DTP debugging and check what happens to the source field and target field once it passes through the transformation. You can easily trace back where the fields are becoming blank.
The loads which you have mentioned earlier did it have values in Added Records/Transferred Records column for the cube.

Error in subroutine READ_NAMTB while transferring data from HCM to xRPM.

I am facing a problem while transferring data from HCM to xRPM via ALE.
We are getting the error " Error in subroutine READ_NAMTB" during the Inbound Processing of Idocs in xRPM.
We have used the standard message type HRMD_ABA and IDoc type HRMD_ABA04 without any modifications.

It was a bug in SP2, it is fixed in SP2 Patch 4.

Hi,
I will suggest you to check a few places where you can see the status
1) SM37 job log (give BIrequest name) and it should give you the details about the request. If its active make sure that the job log is getting updated at frequent intervals.
2) SM66 get the job details (server name PID etc from SM37) and see in SM66 if the job is running or not. See if its accessing/updating some tables or is not doing anything at all.
If its running and if you are able to see it active in SM66 you can wait for some time to let it finish.
3) RSMO see what is available in details tab. It may be in update rules.
4) ST22 check if any short dump has occured.
You can also try SM50 / SM51 to see what is happening in the system level like reading/inserting tables etc.
If you feel its active and running you can verify by checking if the number of records has increased in the cube.

Data transfer from DSO to InfoCube

hello,
i'm a new user and just got into SAP. i uploaded data from a flat file to my dso successfully and it is active. now i am trying to practice and want to transfer the data to a cube. can someone tell the step-by-step how to do this?
here are my steps:
1. created transformation
2. mapped the objects
3. activated transformation
4. created DTP and activated it
5. clicked on execute. and then i keep on getting error while it was processing.
error message: Error while updating to target ZNGSALDEL (type INFOCUBE)

DTP is able to get the data from DSO but cannot load to the cube. can anyone help me out? or provide me steps on how to transfer data between DSO, Cube, and other DSOs.

You would need to contact whomever is the SAP Support Portal administrator for your organization to get access to that environment. Depending on how your organizaiton has set it up, it could be someone from your Basis team, security or anyone else.
Speak to whomever gave you access to BW and ask them who in your organization can get you an account for the SAP Support Portal (people who have worked on SAP for awhile, like me, refer to them as OSS accounts). Tell them that you need the ability to view OSS Notes on the SAP Support Portal. In order to apply the note, you will need to have an ABAP Developer Key, so you can ask for that as well or just ask someone on your Basis team to apply the note that I referenced previously.

Error while loading data from DataSource to InfoCube/DSO through DTP

Hi Friends,
I am trying to load data from DataSource to InfoCube/DSO through DTP and getting the following error:
Exception in substep: Extraction completed
Processing terminated
Data package 1 / 30.04.2009 22:38:30 / Status 'Processed with Errors'
When i see the detail message it says:
Syntax error in routine "convert_to_applstru", line 25 of generated program"
I checked all my transformation and looks ok. I was able to load data earlier and i getting this error all of sudden. Does some one know what is this routine "convert_to_applstru" ?

Problems transferring data from MacBook Pro to MacBook Pro

I just bought a new MacBook Pro and I am having problems transferring data from my old MacBook Pro. I am using an Apple Thunderbolt to FW adapter to hook both computers and I am using the Migration Assistant. Everything looked ok until the "Transferring Your Information" screen got stuck. It says that it is "Transferring your Application folder..." And it has been stuck for at least the last two hours giving a message that says "About 3 minutes remaining..." This is starting to get ridiculously annoying. Options?

I guess I am finding my own way as time progresses and frustration increases but these are two things that I have found so far:
1. Transfering from one machine to another does not seem to be the most efficient way to do this so using the TimeMachine backup must be the way to go...
HOWEVER
2. In this process I also found another "complication" called: Legacy FaultVault - My computer is encripted and I used this now so called "Legacy FaultVault" app to do it (when it was no a Legacy!). The thing is that you can not transfer documents from your TimeMachine backup to your new Mac if the Legacy Fault Valut is active on your old machine so you first need to desactivate the encription. HOWEVER, this brought another issue...when I tried to desactivate the encription using the Legacy FaultVault screen I got a message saying that I did not have enough disk space to allow me to do that....Isn't that great??? This is a problem by itself and it seems to have some sort of solution I was reading about (not straight forward at all). What I am trying to do now is to copy the folder that contains my files and just paste them on my new machine to see if that works....it looks like my apps are on my new machine, unsure if they are working...need to test this next....
I guess the transfer machine to machine could have sorted out the conflict eventually...after tens of hours or maybe not! Who knows....
A very frustrated Apple fan...
I love Apple products but this is an ISSUE...I feel like there is lack of adecuate documentation around to deal with this or the data transfering apps should be able to deal with this on a more efficient way....just saying...

Problem in deletion of data from DSO

Hi All,
We are facing a problem in deleting data from Data Store Object.I am trying to delete data by using right click option on DSO -->Delete Data.It is saying "The system has not finished loading request no : XYZ".
I have tried to trace that request and found that request is running in background and the related process chain was deleted.Also no jobs of that request are available.
Now i want to delete one field from that particular DSO and it is not allowing because we are unable to delete data.Actually no data is present in Active table but we have data in Change Log table which we are unable to delete.

Any way u r deleted that processchain if it is there u can kill that job through process chain by killing that job,if it is not possible
u should ask ur BASIS people in SM50 or SMICM tcode we can kill our job but ask the basis people.
once u deleted that then delete the data in hange log then (other once the data is there through that DTP it will not allow u to delete so u delete the data) then go for deleting that DTP also.
