Problem in Updating UDO in SAP B1 2007

hi,
i have created a UDO of document type. The add functionality is working fine, but when trying to update the Document the error pops up saying that "The entry already exists...." in that particular lines table.
any suggesting regarding this...??

When you updating that document,that mode is change is automatically??
That means ADD Mode - > UPDATE Mode.
Other wise you have to set AutoManaged=1

Problem during installation of Integration (SAP BO 2007) with CLUSTER

I've a problem during the installation of SAP BO Integration version 2007 SP00 PL15.
The InstallShield Wizard make a test to connection to SQL Server database SBO-COMMON and the test have a negative result:
"Unable to connect to database; verify database server name and that database is started".
I've alredy installed the integration without problem on a normal server, but this problem is on a cluster.
More information of the system are:
- Windows enterprise 2003 SP1 (2 server cluster fail over)
- SQL Server 2005 SP2 (cluster)
It seems that it can't find the SQL on the cluster.

Is important to know well SQL Server 2005.
Go to Programs->MS SQL Server 2005-> Configuration tools-> SQL Server Configuration Manager.
Into the window, select: SQL Server 2005 Network Configuration -> Protocols for MSSQLSERVER > TCP/IP
Here, you must set the IP address of your server (Ex. 192.168.0.55), not Dynamics Address.
In the "all" instance, specify the Dynamic port 1433.
Now, you can install Integration without problems (is not necessary set the node name in tha installation wizard, because the system is not able to select it)

Problem to update UDO-recordsets using a matrix with DBDataSource

I've got a problem with updating recordsets in an UDO-Table using DBDataSource.SetValue().
Special szenario: I use a matrix bounded with DBDataSources. Adding new records and loading them via DBDataSource.Query() with conditions works fine. The UDO object type is "Document" without lines.
In the simple way now I load just one record and after this I was trying to set an "message" to an simple, editable edittext-column via calling:
oDBDataSource.SetValue("U_Message", 0, "Hello world");
oMatrix.LoadFromDataSource();
Now it's visible in the matrix.
But when I call update via clicking the update-button, B1 do say, everything was ok (green status-message). Reloading this recordset you can see: it was not stored in the database
Even not after:
oMatrix.FlushToDataSource();
As a workaround I do write the "message" via using Cell.Specific.
Can anybody help me?

New Row in Matrix is a Duplicate and Cannot update Object with new Row
the next way is do it with recordset and directly insert to table.

Problem logging in SAP B1 2007 SP00 PL30

Hi all.
One of our SAP users is having a problem in logging in to SAP B1 2007.
Last time, the user can login to SAP by just keying the correct username and password. Now, the user will get an error message when she try to login to SAP using the same username and password. When I go to Change Company, I found the Current Server has changed to (local) instead of my server.
The user can login to SAP by changing to the correct server and type the sa login ID and password. How am I going to make it for the SAP server to recognize the user and make her login to SAP without her to keying in the sa login ID and password?
I have tried to uninstall SAP and reinstall the SBO client from the user but to no avail.

Thanks for your advice. I have already tested it at the user's computer but still the same problem happened..
All the while, the user also use the X to close the program but she didn't face this problem at that time. How come all of a sudden she cannot directly login to the SAP without changing the correct server and key in the sa password?

We had nearly 10 UDO with respective tables in SAP 2005. After up gradation from 2005 to 2007 all tables and UDO
Successfully upgraded to 2007. All documents getting generated except one document. Itu2019s asked for generating new numbering series. But we are not able to generate numbering series for that document. All my add-ons tasks totally sopped because of that document. Any help / suggestion will be highly helpful to me.

After I got this error I upgraded the Kernel from patch level 159 to 179,

package upgrade. Though the step has been repeated after making sure
that we have all the required files at OS level, we go this error

While playing around I have deleted the transport from the tp buffer
and added manually, before doing so I made a backup of tp buffer at OS
level and I got following error though I reverted back to backed-up
copy.

- Reason for error: TP_BUFFER_INCONSISTENCY
- Return code: 0008
- Error message: Wrong sequence of Packages in the tp buffer (e.g.
SAPKB46C52 )
I then tried to disassemble the package separately and reran the
import queue. Now I have RC 8 on that support package.
When I did R3trans -l on the datafile it completed successfully.
D:\>R3trans -l \usr\sap\trans\data\RB46C52.SAP
This is R3trans version 6.05 (release 46D - 27.10.08 - 16:32:00).
R3trans finished (0000).
I verified the size of file "CSR0120031469_0023301.PAT" and it is the
same as mentioned in SSP.
Let us know is there is a workaround.

Problem while changing decimal places in SAP B1 2007

I want change the decimal places of Quantity type fields from 2 decimal places to 4 decimal places. But while changing it in Genral settings form ,it shows the error message "Cannot update while another user is connected to the company". it is working in SAP B1 2005B but not in SAP B1 2007

SAP B1 2007 Add-On Removal Problem

I am using SAP B1 2007 on Windows Vista. I've been testing our Add-On module. When running our installer, an error occurred, which left the Add-On in an unusable state, since the installation had not finished. When I attempted to removed our Add-On, it does not go away. It remains in the Company Add-On list, even after I select 'Remove Add-On' and perform the 'Update'.
I am now stuck. I have no way to remove our Add-On and no way to re-install it since B1 thinks it's already installed.
Is there anyway out of this trap besides scrubbing my B1 install and starting over?

hello Mark,
Try to see add/remove programs, to check whether the addon is still listed or exists there.
Actually, you must restart SAP B1 client after remove the addon at the first time.
Another solution is to restart license server and then remove the addon again. Do not remove addon from add/remove program.

functionally & technically so many changing happened in 2007 .
1. In 2007 company connection happened via UI .
2. update some table fields.
3. Add some new logic's
So it is not sure that which add-on is working in 2005 it should be worked in 2007.
but in many case it will be working.
but it will be goo if u run ur application in debug mode & compile it & then create ard .
and then deploy in b1.

Bounce Management in SAP CRM 2007

we have SAP CRM 2007 and I have a few questions about Bounce Management.
It is a very simple scenario, so it´s fine if only hard bounces for incoming EMails are handled.
1) Do you need ERMS for that simple form of Bounce Mgt?
2) Is the Usage of Inetraction Center required? (We do not want to)
3) Is it possible/recommended to create Activities out of incoming bounces?
4) Can you segment on Bounces, not only within the Campaign Automation?
5) What ist the effort/set up to use Bounce Mgt in that simple scenario about?

Yes, I was mentioning SAP Note 897730. The major pre-requisite mentioned there is Event linkage settings through SWETYPV transaction and in your case you just need to do the Rule Modeler settings. If you are using DEFAULT policy you do not need to do anything in Service Manager Profile.
The note pre-requisites mentioned are
The required services and service manager profiles for using the E-Mail Response Management System (ERMS) are defined: All entries necessary for bounce management are delivered in the default Customizing. As I mentioned before Service Manager Profile: Bounce is already defined and you are going to use that profile. The required service in your case would be "Bounce Data Update" or one of the 5 standard service mentioned in this note. These are already defined and taken care of in standard configurations. Therefore, you do not need to do anything over there.
Please do the above two settings and if you have any issues please come back to me. I am sure you won't have any issues with the requirements that you mentioned. I just took one hour to set up hard bounce scenario. Only if you are planning to use services that are not standard it becomes slightly tricky. In our case major issue was that there was an error in the standard workflow. I did not know much about Workflow bindings etc. before, but then I had to dig deep into this and it gave me an opportunity to learn workflows. This was the good thing that came out of all this.

SAP CRM 2007 - How to Access a Table from one view to another via ABAP BSP

Hi experts, I need your help.
I am working in SAP CRM 2007 developing code modifiying views using transaction "BSP_WD_CMPWB" and my problem is the following:
After the "Account Identification" process I go to "Create Case" and click in "Complaints" option in the navigation bar.
Here there are several views involved, like "General data" and "Parties involved"
"General data" belongs to the component "BT126H_CALL" and the name of the view is "SCDetails.htm"
"Parties involved" belongs to the component "BTPARTNER" and the name of the view is "Partner.htm"
The "Partner.htm" view has a table that is displayed using a "<chtmlb:configTable . . . table = "//BTPartner/Table" instruction.
I need to acces the table "//BTPartner/Table" that belongs to "Partner.htm" in the view "SCDetails.htm" and add data into it.
How can I do that ?
Add the data in the view "Partner.htm" itself is very simple, I am using the "EH_ONINSERT" method but I have not idea how to do that from "SCDetails.htm".

as I understand from your question you would like to add a partner to the complaint document.
The complaint document is a 1Order document and has the root genil node named BTOrder. Using the genil relationships you have to get the BTPartnerSet and then the right Partner Relationship.
You will find a lot of information in the newsgroup on how to do this by doing a search.
But a quick help would be to use the sapgui transaction genil_model_browser, component set ONEORDER and using the tree structure navigate from the BTOrder root node to the Partner set.

Partial display of large Alert message - SAP CRM 2007.

Hi,
I am using SAP CRM 2007.
I created a simple alert with 150 char message in IC which will be triggered on confirmation of an account.
The alert gets displayed on the IC agent screen but he can only see partial message of the alert.
Only the message that can come in the first line gets displayed. There is no option to scroll to see the remaining message.
Please suggest how can user see the complete alert message. Can the alert text area be controlled by some customization?

As which user have you executed the update statistics at OS level?
Have you installed the oracle 10g instantclient as indicated on the SAP notes?
what are your environment variables ofr the user <SID>adm?

1) That would be on your system.
2) That is the oracle client shared library, but SAP recommends to install the INSTANTCLIENT, and it will NOT be on the mentioned directory, even in YOUR system. BRCONNECT is looking for the instantclient not for the "normal" client.
Please, check note 819829 Oracle Database 10g: Instant Client 10.x on Unix where it is explained

It is possible to use BRCONNECT 700 with Oracle 10g 9i, but I prefer to run BRCONNECT 640 with 9i as it can be complicated to set all variables.

Facing problem while updating IInfotype 0009-bank details through workflow

Dear SAP Gurus,
I am facing a problem while updating Infotype 0009 through workflow which is integrdated with portal.
Scenario:
Employee logins to portal and changes his/her bank details like payee name, bank key, account number, postal code and city of bank, bank name etc.
Once he submits the request, my workflow is triggered through SAP_WAPI_START_WORKFLOW which is called from portal and goes through various approval steps and finally reaches the step where the container elements are finally to be updated in IT0009.
Field bank account number (BANKN), which is part of table PA0009 are easily updates using the FM HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION by first enqueuing the employee number and after the update dequeuing it.
However fields like payee name (EMFTX) bank key (BANKL) , bank name(BANKA -structure BNKA_BF-this is automatically fetched based on bank key) and postal code(BKPLZ) and city of bank (BKORT) are from structure Q0009 (on the infotype 9 screen level) and from table BNKA (at table level). The problem is that these are not getting updated by HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION as they are not the part of infotype 9.
Can anyone help me to understand how can these fields be updated ?

Well actually the table BNKA is a master table for the bank information and we must not create entries in it or update the table programatically, rather we should use the available data in it.
Now say employee currently has bank as A and he wants to change it as B which is available in BNKA then he will just select the bank B from search help provided in portal which again comes from table BNKA only. Employee then submits the info and it must get updated in the infotype PA0009.
As far as think, this should be done on screen level of infotype PA0009 as I have already mentioned that certain fields are coming from structure Q0009 and they cannot be updated on PA0009 table level.
I am just looking for way through which I can update the screen of infotype PA0009 of employee through workflow.
