Problem in using Date Navigator

When I give the 'startDate' value for the 'starts with' property of DateNavigator, the output is showing from that month and with the given range of dates highlighted, but when I traverse to other months, the dates starting from 1, to the date previous to 'startDate' value of every month are highlighted? Where is the problem? How to overcome it?

Hi,
I read an article about BIEE 10g feature: Data Navigation (click on a record in Analytics report1 and corresponding drill down data show in Analytics report2). I found that there are some setting "Type: Navigate" in "Value Interaction" should be set in Tab: "Column Format" of Column properties in BIEE 10g (pls refer to: http://gerardnico.com/wiki/dat/obiee/navigation).
However, I didn't find these setting in OBIEE 11g. How do I use Data Navigator in OBIEE 11g? Is this features is disabled?

*1. Firstly, what means of "Column (should be filtered)?*
The column in Criteria you should give the *Filter*
2. Table.Column -> Column Properties -> Interaction -> Value (Primary Interaction) -> Action Links -> Add (+ Symbol in Green color) -> Action -> Click *Navigate to BI Content* -> Select the Report from the Shared folder -> OK and Save the report.

Calendar Using Date Navigator in Webdynpro ABAP

Hi,
My Requirement is in the calendar the dates from today to some specific date(Ex:-30 days from today).
Should be enable in all other dates grade out. how can we achieve using date navigator.
For example: Indian railway booking site, allows booking from today to 60 days, remaining dates are grade out, Can't be selected.
similar validation need to be achieved through date navigator.

The requirement exactly like RAILWAYS ticket booking cannot be achieved by using DATE navigator as we don't have any provision to disable/to graded out the dates of our wish.
You can achieve your requirement ( up to some extent) as below
Create a date navigator ui element and bind the start date and end date to context attributes
Create a node DATE_SEL ( 0...n ) and attribute "DATE" of type DATS
Now, right click on DATE NAVIGATOR ui element and choose "Add selection" option from menu to add the dates of selection. Bind the datasource and selected date to node "DATE_SEL" and attribute "DATE" respectively
The selection node "DATE_SEL", you can populate the 60days/30days as per your requirement and it hightlights ( you can choose your choice of color ) the dates in the calender. So that user focuses on these dates for selection. if any other dates other than these selection, you can raise an error message to the user by using event "ONDAYSELECT"

About the use of "Date Navigator", there are many properties needed to set. In detail, you can reference to the material "NET311".
There is one chapter which takes the concern about "Date Navigator".

Net problem (E72) , using data cable...

I connect to internet using bluetooth its work and download speed 80-85kbps but connect to internet using data cable the downloading speed nearly about 100-300kbps and after few time the downloading speed automatically decrease to zero. But net not disconnect and modem working... But no response... If i disconnect net and then connect, then the downloading speed again 100-300kbps but after few time same problem occur... Problem to use data services on different telco device

Dear Readers,
I've bought a used BlackBerry Curve 8900 of telco Starhub Limited (Singapore).
I found the trackball faulty & managed to get a replacement set from Starhub as it is
still under warranty.
The new device carry the following PIN & IMEI.
PIN : [removed personal information]
IMEI : [removed personal information]
I brought it back to my own country (Malaysia) & use it with my current Telco, Maxis.
I'm able to make/receive calls & send/receive sms.
Then I went along to register this device to use my telco (Maxis) BIS service.
I managed to register this device to my telco BIS but however I wasn't able to use
any data services at all ie. emails, browsers, applications & even wifi.
My device only shows upper case GSM network on its screen & no gprs or edge.
Throubleshoot cames & I found there are entries in the device host routing table.
Whenever I try to register the entries this error will appear.
"Registration message queued. It will be sent once data coverage is available"
I called my Telco many times on this problem & hasn't got a clue what is going on
Their BlackBerry technical assitance also spoke the same tone.
For trial & error I went to purchase a Starhub sim & activate this device with Starhub prepaid
BlackBerry service & to my surprised the data services came alive!!
The device is showing upper case GPRS on its screen & I'm able to use all the data services.
Thinking that this device PIN might be hooked to Starhub wireless network I called them up to release it.
I got a big shock when they told me that this device PIN wasn't hooked to their BIS service.
Not giving up I went back & try to register this device with my Telco (Maxis) BIS service again & this error came.
"The information you have provided is not valid for this service provider"
I got so upset & has been losing sleep as both telco are unable to tell me what is the problem.
I'm paying for a unlimited BIS plan with my Telco (Maxis) & unable to use any data services.
Went off to spend my Christmas losing sleep!!!
Can anyone out there tell me what is going on??
I would also be very grateful is someone is knowledgeable enough to guide me how to hook
this device with my Telco (Maxis) BIS & use all the data functions.
Lastly not forgetting I wished all readers a belated Christmas.

I've got my BlackBerry alive & kicking!
For the benificial of all, I will post what I did here.
First of all I called up Starhub to cancel off my prepaid BlackBerry
service with them.
From the information given by Starhub I figured out that my device
is hooked on Maxis BIS but working on Starhub data network.
I've called up Maxis & ask them to release my PIN then reset my BIS account.
They told me to do a hard reset (battery & sim off) for 10 minutes.
When I turned it on after 10 minutes, to my surprised upper case GPRS appeared.
From my own analysis these few days the only clue I for the cause of this is
probably I register my BIS too early even before the data service is activated.
Other that this I can't think of any possibilty.

I am trying to use data navigator UI element. My requirement is to highlight colours on few dates i.e absent days of an employee.
Saw the help documents but couldn find how to do it.

i'm using date navigator which contains 3 months ...and select type is Range...
and i'm having two input fields .... that is Starting Date and End Date
what i need is if i select range of date that ex

starting input field has to show jan 4
End Date input field has to sow jan 23

Using Date in expressions

Having problem with using DAte in Expressions. Does anybody know if toplink API provides any method on Expressions to do date comparison. When I try to use equal, it tries to convert the date to a String. Is ther eany work arounf for this.

Date Navigator problems

I have 2 issues to solve about BSP date navigator added using the showHelp attribute of InputField.
1 - The header with the days abbreviations shows a mix of values in different languages, how can I change them?
2 - The popup of Date Navigator is shown in a Development environment but not in a Quality one. Does it need any particular setting?

we are also on 640 SP 13 and were facing the same problem. So we opened a SAP call and the problem should be solved with the last SAP_BASIS support package.
Unfortunately no sap hint exists for that topic.
Now we're trying to find out which the last one is, expecting no errors anymore

No, you should not. There are problems trying to go the other way, but updating a newer iOS release from a backup of an older iOS release has always been supported and is the basic means of setting up a new device from a previous one.

Problem in passing data from 1 screen to another using BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI.

i am new to the SRM, i am facing problem in passing data from one screen to another.
my requirement is that when we select one shopping cart and press the PROPOSE SOURCES OF SUPPLY button, we will fetch all the contracts that are attached to the shopping cart.
we have implemented a BADI implementation of BBP_SOS_BADI (method BBP_SOS_CHECK) for passing some changed values to the contracts of the shopping cart into the popup screen that is displayed when we press PROPOSE SOURCES OF SUPPLY button and when we select any contract and press ASSIGN ONLY button in the popup screen the badi BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI is triggered.
i have implemented another BADI implementation of BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI for fetching the selected contract and pass the values to another screen, but the problem is that when we select one contract and press the assign only button we are fetching the wrong contract number ( that is in the BADI method BB_SC_CHANGE parameter IT_ITEM we are fetching the wrong contract), if we again do the same procedure for the second time we are getting the correct contract.
i am unable to understand why we are getting the wrong contract in the first time( that is we are getting contract other than the selected one).
as per my understanding i think when we are passing data to the popup screen using BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI we are not updating the shopping cart with the changed data.
can anyone tell me how we can update the SHOPPING CART with the changed contracts data, i have used BBP_PD_SC_UPDATE, BBP_PD_SC_SAVE and other shopping cart FM but nothing is happening.

What version of SRM are you on? Have you check for OSS Notes? I have had trouble with BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI but it was because of other issues. The BADI works pretty well and it is called almost every time something happens to the shopping cart.
I have noticed that sometimes that values are not changed til the second calling of the BADI. I have yet understand why but I think it has to do with prompt processing. Usually, we train our requisitioners to click the 'Check' button to flush things out.
I don't know if I was helpful.... another thought.... could there be an error caught by BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI that is preventing change in BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI?

ORA-01403: no data found Problem when using AUTOMATIC ROW FETCH to populate a form.
1) Created a FORM on EMP using the wizards. This creates an AUTOMATIC ROW FETCH
TABLE NAME - EMP
Item Containing PRIMARY KEY - P2099_EMPNO
Primary key column - EMPNO
By default the automatic fetch has a ‘Process Error Message’ of ‘Unable to fetch row.’
2) Created a HTML region. Within this region add
text item P2099_FIND_EMPNO
Button GET_EMP to submit
Branch Modified the conditional branch created during button creation to set P2099_EMPNO with &P2099_FIND_EMPNO.
If I then run the page, enter an existing employee number into P2099_EMPNO and press the GET_EMP button the form is populated correctly. But if I enter an employee that does not exist then I get the oracle error ORA-01403: no data found and no form displayed but a message at the top of the page ‘Action Processed’.I was expecting a blank form to be displayed with the message ‘Unable to fetch row.’
I can work around this by making the automated fetch conditional so that it checks the row exists first. Modify the Fetch row from EMP automated fetch so that it is conditional
EXIST (SQL query returns at least one row)

But this means that when the employee exists I must be fetching from the DB twice, once for the condition and then again for the actual row fetch.
Rather than the above work around is there something I can change so I don’t get the Oracle error? I’m now wondering if the automatic row fetch is only supposed to be used when linking a report to a form and that I should be writing the fetch process manually. The reason I haven’t at the moment is I’m trying to stick with the automatic wizard generation as much as I can.

Using Range Option in Date Navigator

Dear Experts,
I am using the Range option in the Selection mode of a Date navigator.
I have bind two attributes to the First and Last selected property of the Date navigator..
I have implemented the On Day select event method to get the dates and fill in my Input fields.
But When I am clicking on the date the attributes bind to First and last selected dates are giving the same Value.
It is not fetching the two different dates.
Note: I have declared a node with carnality 0:1 and created tow attributes for the first and Last selected dates.
How can i get the Range of dates?
