Problem in viewing the webhelp output in a RoboHelp-DocumentX project

Hi, I am working with Robohelp X5. The project is generated together with DocumentX and hence contains more than 15,000 files. Secondly, the proper webhelp output is extremely essential for this project as it concerns the links which are also in thousands.
A problem has occured where the webhelp is getting generated, but I cannot view the output. The generated file occurs in the webhelp folder, but displays only a single page with no navigation pane or even the content/search tabs.
The project had been successful in April. While updating it, I copied the Robohelp project folder and things started. Initially the prosource folder was showing an error while opening the project. When I copied it again to a different location, the project file opened and functioned fine, but the output problem is still there.
What I have now id - The original folder with the crashed project, 2 new copies of this folder where the project works fine and the webhelp is generated with no output.
Please help me, because starting from scratch with DocX files is a nightmare!

By DocumentX do you mean the Microsoft Word format .docx?
If so I am not surprised you have had trouble. Quite simply, X5 is not Word 2007 compatible.
I don't follow "hence contains more than 15,000 files". What's the connection with using Word that causes a high number of files that would not occur otherwise?
15,000 topics in one project is high anyway and at the level I would expect problems.
Are you using RoboHelp for Word or RoboHelp HTML?

I am in a project where we have to create webhelp output from Robohelp 9. Whenever I generate the webhelp ouput I am not able to view the the contents. Although, the webhelp is opening in a browser window but there are no topics present in the contents. The other ouputs like .chm and .dox are fine, but there is some problem with the webhelp which I am unable to figure out.

What browser are you using?
If Chrome, try something else. Chrome works fine with help on the server but not locally. There is more in Snippets on my site about the Chrome issue.

JavaHelp 1.0 is required to view the JavaHelp output?????

Hi All,
I'm getting this dialog after I have generated the JavaHelp.
"JavaHelp 1.0 is required to view the JavaHelp output. Please
install the latest version of JavaHelp"
But I have allready installed this "C:\jh1.1.3" and inserted
these 2 System variables "JAVAHELP_HOME" - "C:\jh1.1.3" and
"JHHOME" - "C:\jh1.1.3".
I have allso installed "j2sdk1.4.1_01".
What else needs to be done?

I faintly remember a problem with Robohelp and JH1.1.3 a
couple of years ago, I don't know if this was ever resolved.

Having in proper cursor movement when view the discoverer output

Hi all,
When I try to view the discoverer output in the discovere desktop by using the keyboard tab key to move from one column to another column, the data was not displayed properly. It is just like not enough memory, but if I used the mouse to scroll then it was ok. What is the problem then ??

Problem while downloading the alv output to excel file.

While downloading the alv output to an excel file i am facing a problem. Either the output comes as 1.23456E+11 or the values get cut .
Cant put in txt file as the users require to calculate directy and i have even tried to increase the output length .But both doesnt help.
So what are the other ways to do so.

Infact there is no problem. Just expand that excel cell. You can see the full value. This is standard excel property.

Problem with viewing the tv series "Gurren Lagann" in itunes.

When I go to the itunes store and search gurren lagann the page loads fine but when I try to view the complete series itunes stops working. This problem happens with different accounts and on different computers.
the itunes verson that is currently on my inspiron computer is 9.0.3.15
is this a problem with itunes or is it a problem with my computers/accounts?

There's a newer version of webkit.dll in the most recent version of Apple Application Support (version 1.4.1 as I write this post). To update your Apple Application Support, the most straightforward procedure would be updating to iTunes 10.1.1.4 ... but if you're not keen on that, we could do it by updating your QuickTime to version 7.6.9 (there's a version 1.4.1 for Apple Application Support in the QuickTime 7.6.9 installer).
If you want to go the QuickTime-update route, here's a link to the download page for QuickTime installers. (Get the installer that doesn't mention QuickTime ... the installer file should be called "QuickTimeInstaller.exe" rather than "iTunesSetup.exe" or "iTunes64Setup.exe".)

Hello! I just start to use iphone 5 today. I tried to sync some photos with 3:2 ratio photos to my iphone 5. But when I view the photo in iphone, I cannot see full image of the photos (Pic 1).
Can I make some setting to help me to "auto fit screen" in iphone5 to solve this problems like Pic 2?

Really? Oh no!!! i tried to search in google this same question and i encounter some site that offer an application that will recover those deleted data(images) but its a paid applications so I cannot check if it can resolve my problem.. Anyway thanks for your reply.:)

Not able to view the XML Output, after Output format changed to XML

Before I could ask the DBA to chage the DIPLAY parameter, I could see error in FNDOPP*.txt file, as some issue with tag "split-by-page-break".
Accordingly I removed the tag from the template file ( RFT File). Now the request is getting Completed with Normal status. And generating the PDF output.
I found a hit in the metalink for this issue, which suggests a PATCH 4206181 (XDO.5.5) to get this functionality.
Accordingly the PATCH is applied.
Now when trying to query the template name from the XML Publisher Administrator Responsiblity, page is getting errored with the below message.

Problem in sending the Smartform Output as PDF through Mail

Problem of configuration the requirement output control ?

Hi ,
i am now in a very urgent situation that is the system does not create the message type after executing the transaction VL31N.
In detail :
I have used the transaction NACE to configure the "Requirements output control" and i have created 3 message type (Z1 , Z2, Z3) ( type V6 : handling unit) and i have coded for each of them to check the requirements for creating the messsage type ( the message type will be created if the sy=subrc = 0 after the forms are executed.
FORM KOBEV_Z1.
Check condition from the structure komkbv6

if the message type is created automatically after executing the KOBEV or KOBEV , a printing program will be called to print the SAPscript form , but till now , i can not do that , to print the form i have to created the message type by hand ..
Is the something wrong in the system ? How can i configure them to run well ?

If you are supposed to bring across characteristic values to your target, then you will not be able to jump from the result line. The configuration expects that the values of the characteristic marked as being used in the jump are filled with unique values. When you use the result line as a source for your jump, the values in the result line will most likely be based on the sum of multiple characteristic values.

I m passing it_sort table in the FM for sorting but output is not getting grouped can you please
tell me what is the problem ?

I don't have a subtotal for that fiels .
It works for me .

How to view the log/output output files in browser through email notification hyperlinks

I am working on an extension in Fusion Applications. The requirement is to send a notification with details of a concurrent program. The notification will have hyperlinks of "out" and "log" files. When the user clicks on the "out" hyperlink, it should open the Output file(that resides in the unix box) of the corresponding concurrent program in the browser. We know that in E-business suite R12 functionality, records should be populated in FND_FILE_TEMP table to view any files from unix box in browser.
Can you please let me know the approach to be taken in Fusion Applications?

The format of the start and end timestamp ranges are "MM/dd/yy HH:mm:ss" for example 12/01/09 12:00:00. Give this a try.

Does Adobe RoboSource Control provide a facility of access restriction on the WebHelp output?

I need to publish a WebHelp document that can be accessed only by a specific group of people.
In order to ensure that only the specificied group of people access the document, can it be restricted by aligning it with individual user ID/pwd? Is there any facility provided by RoboHelp/RoboSource Control to restrict access through individual User ID / password?
- If yes, how can it be implemented?
- If not, is there any other alternative?

RoboSourceControl is just a source control application. It certainly does not have the sort of functionality you require. Neither would any source control application. You have some options though.
Publish your WebHelp to location that can be secured to a specific group of people. Your IT people can help here.
Purchase a RoboHelp Server licence and output WebHelp Pro rather than WebHelp. RoboHelp Server allows you to restrict access to users with a userid / password.
If PDF is an option, output to that and secure the PDF file to those with the supplied password.
