Problem in WBS element search(F4 help)

Hi,
I am facing one problem when I am creating Shopping Cart. when attempting to choose a account assignment, chose WBS Element and then clicked on binocular to search for a WBS #. New screen appears as expected, clicked Start to begin search and screen went back to shopping cart screen without performing search.
I am unable to understand Why this is happening.
Is there any custom module to handle the F4 help for WBS element.Please suggest me the way to fix this.

Hi Saikiran,
RFCUSER is used to perform this search.
You have to swith the user in dialog mode.
Also make sure :
- you have enter the backend destination at the very end of "define backend system" customizing point.
- you have activated the search authorization in PFCG(please refer to posts already answered in this forum)

PROBLEM IN WBS ELEMENT

While creating a sales order after entering the WBS element, I am getting an error Profit Ctr not consistent between Plant and Material/WBS for line item 0010 can somebody throw light and help to solve.

Please that the material attached to the WBS is being used for the correct plant if it is not extended to the plant which you are using, then pls get it extended by the MM guys.
If still the problem persists then revert back.

Problems deleting WBS elements

Hi,
I'm trying to delete a number of WBS elements via CJ20N and I'm presented with an error message as follows:
"There are CATS records that have not yet been tran"
(Message no. CJ001)
I'm not sure exactly what this means or how to get around it (or even view the offending records) - Any ideas?
We are using WBS elements to capture project costs from Timesheets using CAT2.
I'm guessing that I need to transfer the postings against the WBS that I want to delete to another WBS - What transaction is used to do this?
Any pointers or advice will be appreciated.

You can use transaction CJ88 to settel the wbs element.

Problems with Premiere Elements 10, please help!

I am in the process of editing some videos for the charity I work for using Premiere Elements 10 but I am encountering some problems...
Firstly, Elements keeps crashing for no reason... It happened time after time when I was trying to edit a title, to get around it I had to delete the title and then insert a new one and it was fine. However, it has started again. I am just trying to select multple scenes and a title to group them and elements just crashes citing a runtime error. Anyone know how I can solve this problem? An update may be needed.
Normally when moving around clips on the timeline you get a strong verticle black line across the timeline to indicate when the clip in next to the beginning/end of another clip/title/item on the timeline so it is easy to line things up. This feature has disappeared from one of my projects which is very annoying as I keep accidently chopping bits of clips off. Why has it disappeared? How do I get it back?
These current issues are making it difficult for me to work and are very frustratig, any help would be gratefully received!

Ouch! To work with AVCHD footage both your processor and RAM are way underpowered. Most would say you need a Quad-Core or I7 processor and a minimum 4GB RAM (more if you are using W7 64-bit).
As it is your project is most likely having repeatedly swap memory to and from your hard disk - which is bad.
I'm guessing that this laptop is a few tears old and probably has only one disk drive with very little free space. To find out:
Press the Windows key
Type Info
From the list of programs that will be shown select System Information
Open Components> Storage> Drives
Your disk information will show in the right-hand pane.

WBS Elements not getting created in ECC Project System from CRM 7.0

Dear all,
We are trying to integrate SAP CRM 7.0 with SAP ECC-PS module. The objective is to bring in the marketing plan and elements data from the CRM system, and to create the corresponding WBS in project system. We have done most of the configuration as recommended by SAP in both the systems, and we see that the BDOCS are getting generated and sent to the ECC system. The following steps have been successfully completed:
1.       Set up the RFC connections between the two systems
2.       Selected the connection type as Middleware in CRM system.
3.       Installed the cProject Add on in CRM box.
4.       Created a project scenario (with project and network profiles) in the PS system and assigned the same in the CRM system.
5.       The Project Scenario in PS config has the same name as the Project Type in CRM config.
6.       Created and released the campaign ids being created in the CRM system.
As already mentioned, we can see that the BDOCS are coming to the ECC system and are getting stored in BDOC_TRACK table. However the issue is that the corresponding WBS elements are not getting generated in the ECC system. Is there anything that that we are missing in the ECC box which would trigger the WBS element creation?
Request you all to share your inputs which would be immensely beneficial for us in achieving this integration.

Some inputs related to our system,
We have upgrade from CRM 4.0 to CRM 7.0 SP07 and R/3 backend system is on 4.7 SP27, earlier we have completed the upgrade on sandbox without any issues which was upgrade to CRM 7.0 SP04 but with SP07 we are facing the problem of WBS Element not getting created in R/3.

WBS element in Material Document List Report

I have a problem about WBS element which is not show up any data in Material Document List (MB51) movement type 281 and 281 Q event I add WBS in the document. Anyone know how can i config or do anything to let the system show up, please let me know.

Go to SPRO > MM > Inventory Management and Physical Inventory > Reporting > Define Field Selection for Material Document List > Here for Program Name "RM07DOCS", Table "MSEG" add field "MAT_PSPNR" (Valuated Sales Order Stock WBS Element) and activate "Output" indicator.
And Then check in MB51

But for making the Advance payments to Customers and vendors or for any other Capital purpose, How to track the payments projects wise?
in f-29 for f-48, there is no option of giving the WBS elements. Pls help How to the WBS elemts filed Mandotory in FI Documents for all the entries posted in FI for vendor, customer, Banks accounts also?

This is possible if you configure posting down payment in CO. You do it via OKEP transaction. The, after checking that you have configured number ranges (KANK), you can reconstruct your down payments in WBS via OKBG. You can see this customization steps under: Project Systems - Costs - Actual Costs - Update Down Payments.

Function module to find the child of WBS elements

Hi,
i need to find the KSTAR (Cost Element) for the corresponding WBS element . If the particular WBS element does not contain the COST Element, then to find all the children WBS element .
I need to find all the child WBS elements and its level for the parent WBS element. I am using the table COSB and PRPS table . kindly solve to find a FUNCTIONAL MODULE which uniquely the child WBS element. Kindly help to solve.

Hit the PRPS table where STUFE(Level in Project Hierarchy) > Current level and project Id = Current project ID.

Search help for WBS element on timesheet

Hi,
We are using EA-HR 6.00 (webdynpro)
Is it possible to change the search help for the WBS Element field that appears on the Record Working Time timesheet?
There appears to be a table called TCATS_SHLP_ITS, but is this not for the old ITS version and not the new webdynpro version?
The client would like to use a different search help when they choose the dropdown on the timesheet but I can't seem to figure out if this is possible.

I guess I'll retract my question, as making change to table TCATS_SHLP_ITS is making a difference on my WBS element dropdown... just need to get it to work properly now.

how can I add a search help to one of the user fields for WBS elements without modification? Is there an exit which I can use? I want to have a search help for field PRPS-USR02.

Create an elementary serach help using the Table USR01 or USR03
see the steps
1) Elementary search helps describe a search path. The elementary search help must define where the data of the hit list should be read from (selection method), how the exchange of values between the screen template and selection method is implemented (interface of the search help) and how the online input help should be defined (online behavior of the search help).
2) Collective search helps combine several elementary search helps. A collective search help thus can offer several alternative search paths.
3)An elementary search help defines the standard flow of an input help.
4) A collective search help combines several elementary search helps. The user can thus choose one of several alternative search paths with a collective search help.
5)A collective search help comprises several elementary search helps. It combines all the search paths that are meaningful for a field.
6)Both elementary search helps and other search helps can be included in a collective search help. If other collective search helps are contained in a collective search help, they are expanded to the level of the elementary search helps when the input help is called.
CREATION:
Go to SE11 Tcode
select search help
give the 'z' search help name and create
select the selection method ur table name eg : 'mara'
dialog module 'display value immediately'.
add the field whatever u want and lpos = 1 and spos = 1 and check import and export parameter.
where left position when displaying and spos = search position
and then save and activate ..
