Problem in Webdynpro-ABAP

Hi,
i am creating a new webdynpro but i have issue when i create the view in the layout, it is not showing the layout button option (create element --> Type) and showing page cannot be displayed.
2. How to a look into a Notes ? I don't have access to Notes.

Radio button problem in webdynpro abap

Hi Guys,
In the selection screen i have 2 radio buttons PO and RP.
user is allowed to select either of the one so i have created 1 radio button group.
scenario 1:
when user clicks on radio button 1 and then click the submit button.
now he wants to change his selection so he again enter and click the radio button 2 and click on subnit button.
if he goes again he can see the radio button 2 selected.so it is working fine.
Scenario 2:
when user clicks on radio button 2 and then click the submit button.
now he wants to change his selection so he again enter and click the radio button 1 and click on subnit button.
if he goes again he can see the radio button 2 selected.so it is not working fine.
The coding is as follows:

As I can see there is no such issue in selecting data in secord scenario. It might be the case that it's not getting cleared so you can just clear your node ls_iohncust_values-repplanonly after your endif on submit action.

Problems Display WebDynpro (Abap)

Hi,
my browser version für IE and firefox changed to IE 8.0.7601.17514 64bit and Firexfox to 24.1.
Now our wd application will not be displayed in IE and not correctly display in firefox (see attached jpeg), here the table design can't be displayed correct.
Any ideas?

Those are known browser limitations of WDA. you may have to upgrade your NW! Alternately, try to switch compatibility on and then check. you may refer this doc: Resolve "Sorry, your browser/program is not supported by Web Dynpro" for IE 9/10/11permanently or temporarily

Trouble with FUNCTIONAL LOCATION - locking! With WEBDYNPRO ABAP

i have a lock object problem via webdynpro ABAP.
My web-dynpro get a FUNCTIONAL LOCATION (FL) and could modify it information, the problem is that until the web-dynpro browser is active into ECC system the FL result LOCKED! And also from the web-dynpro i cannot modify it again, i have to reload/refresh the webpage
I used after the updating the TRANSACTION_COMMIT and soon after the DEQUEUE_EIFLOT frunction module.
Anyone has some suggestion on it?

Webdynpro ABAP Caching Problem in Portal

Hi All,
We have developed custom applications using Webdynpro - ABAP, using FPM and accessing those applications through SAP Netweaver Portal 7.0. I have deactivated all the caching techniquies in Portal @ iview level and Page level, Portal Runtime and ContentFetch side, But still causing the same problem.
I have a doubt, wether this is happening because of SAP Logon Caching @ SAP WAS system level. I have checked the SSO parameter settings in RZ10 Profile parameters. Our basis people have set both accept and create parameter value = 1. Is this causing issue?
Or Is there any other settings which is required to do in Portal or SAP system level. Please let us know , really appreciate your value suggestions and help.

The delete icon will not show up in the line of the favorite/templates, if no hours are recorded on it. There is no transfer to the backend either, unless hours are recorded on these working time attributes. also ensure note 1986356 is implemented for details column check CAC2 for the CATS profile attached to the user in CVR in Su3

Webdynpro abap ALV export to excel with images problem

Hello experts,
I'm having problems with standard excel export functionality in webdynpro abap ALV.
In my table i have images taken from content server (employee photos) linked with URL to a table_cell Image, when i export the table to excel using standard function the images is showed as a broken picture with the following text:
"The linked image cannot displayed. The file may have been moved, or deleted. Verify that the link points to the correct file and location."
I'm running on sap basis 7.02 SP13 and implemented the notes 1975765 and 1985288 but not resolved this issue.
Do you have any ideas?

Problem in developing webdynpro ABAP ?

Hi all,
I have a problem in execution of my first webdynpro ABAP application.
I did my program based on the instructions given in the given link.

DMS Document not getting created thru Webdynpro ABAP Strange Problem

Dear all,
My requirement is that I have a Webdynpro ABAP application sitting on SAP Server1 and I am having a FileUploadUI Element in there for uploading files and we have SAP Server2 with the DMS configured. So, what we have done is we have an RFC in SAP Server2 and we are calling it from our webdynpro ABAP application sitting on SAP Server1. And we are calling BAPI_Create2 with all the necessary parameters in this RFC to create the DMS document with the file from webdynpro ABAP application. But its not working. I am passing the Presentation Server File Path of the File to the BAPI_create2.Even if I write the file to the application server of SAP Server2 and then pass this file path to the BAPI_Create2 then also it doesn't work but when I execute this RFC locally in the SAP Server2 with the presentation server file path It executes successfully.
I don't know what I am missing.

Suppose I have got the file copied to the application server in SAP Server2 using datasets from WDA in SAP server1.
Now I have an RFC say ZFILE_UPLOAD in SAP Server2 for which we have made an SAP ABAP RFC Connection from SAP Server1. In this RFC I am calling BAPI_create2 using the application server filepath(of SAP Server2) in docfile parameter along with ur suggested destination then also it doesn't work. Gives an error that "error in storing and checking file" i.e. Error 253.
One more query how to handle the file upload of different file types say I am uploading a pdf file from my webdynpro abap application in SAP server1. Then I get the xstring and pass it to ZFILE_UPLOAD and convert it into binary and write it there in SAP Server2 using datasets. Is it possible to upload any kind of file and then creating the DMS document out of it?
and how to call this RFC?

ECatt Webdynpro ABAP problems

Hello everbody,
we are trying to script a webdynpro ABAP application with eCatt.
We have completed the system configuration steps (see below), but still when trying to record we are getting the error message:
"An error probably occurred during the logon to the Web Dynpro target system. Check user and password in the target system."
We have set up a HTTP connection to the target system with a preset username / password combination in the authentication details. We also log into the target system with this username / password combination directly just fine.
What could we be missing?
Some more questions:
Is eCatt supposed to execute the webdynpro on the target system as the user defined in the http connection or as the user executing / recording the script?
What user should be set in the http connection in the first place? I'm assuming its not the ecatt_http user because that one doesnt even exist in the target system (the guides only ask for this user to be created in the ecatt system)

Please take a deeper look into saphelp for RFC connections, to clearify, which user credentials are used with RFC connections.

Debugging is not working in R/3 from WebDynpro-ABAP developed webpage input

Dear Friends,
We are facing a serious problem for debugging. Expecting valuable input for the same.
Debugging is not working in R/3 from WebDynpro-ABAP developed webpage input in Production Server.
The debugging (for WebDynpro-ABAP application) is working in Dev. Server for
1st ] Within R/3
Ex. debug for bapi within R/3. i.e. value enter as input in R/3 only.
2nd ] From webpage to R/3
Ex. Some input given on the internet web page developed through WebDynpro and external breakpoint set in R/3 it works. It directs to R/3 code through debugging.
In Prod. Server the 1st case above is working but the 2nd case is not working.
In Prod. Server the WebDynpro developed applications are running successfully through internet explorer webpage inputs. So running the application is not a problem in prod. Server but debugging of the same is the problem.
The setting which are done in Prod. server are,
1] RZ10 in parameters are set for port and host name.
2.1] In SMICM check for ICM.
2.2] Host file updated in Windows-System 32.
3] In SICF following services are active,
3.1] default_host/sap/bc/webdynpro
3.2] default_host/sap/public/bc

Hello, are you sure you have your ADS credentials configured correctly and valid? I guess you know that is the only difference between clicking enabled on true or false. If you are not sure, you can use SE38, search for FP_* and pick some reports to check the licencing. The names of the reports are good enough to recognize the right one.
Or maybe that is a security problem? Have you checked the ADS_ERROR string? Did you use the ADS trace?

I'm facing the same issue with the POWL only if called from a part of the network outside our country (Italy) so I think it would be a network configuration problem as you suppose. Can you explain us the configuration of the balancer and dispatcher to solve the issue?

In your view layout you take table UI element and then you bind it with some context nodes.
The attributes of your nodes comes as a field.
Now in these fields you can set various properties and image is one of them.
Go to ->
1. View Layout -> Right Click on ROOTUIELEMENTCONTAINER -> INSERT ELEMENT -> TABLE
2. Right click on table -> Create Binding.
Here you have to bind it with the appropriate context node.
You will get two properties here
a- Standard Cell Editor :- ( make it image )
b- Standard properties :- ( If required set image properties ).
3. If you want put image from out side then import it as a mime object and set the source of your table field ( used as a image )

I was gettiing runtime error while executing a Webdynpro-ABAP application

I am working on Webdynpro-ABAP and created a ALV report using Service call BAPI method in IDES version. After creating component and designed view and created Webdynpro application. While executing application I am getting some error in explorer.
For any application I am getting same error.
I think some setting in explorer..I am not sure. If yes how can I rectify ?

Thanks Rich for quick answer.
But my problem is, I have a stand alone WAS without any RFC Function modules and dictionary structures, of backend R/3, on WAS which I wanted to map in my component.
I strongly believe that in case of stand alone WAS I need to have at least backend dictionary structures to begin with my design. I cant use wizard, as I dont have function modules on this system. I have to code for that manually..
So that is why, I was looking for Webservice option..
