Try deleting the problematic app and then re-downloading the app from the app store.
You can re-download content purchased from the app store using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.
You can re-download content purchased from the app store using the purchased option which is revealed by tapping the updates option at the bottom of the screen of the App store app on your iOS device.
If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.
I have asked for your email address to be edited out. Posting your address in an open thread is a sure way to be bombarded by unwanted email, remember it will be here long after you have resolved your problem, for automated detection software to find.
If you want people to contact you, enable others to see your email address in your profile.

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forum.
Whatsapp is a an application that can be used for free for one year. Once the free trial expires you will have to pay for the application.
You should be able to redownload the application, but it won't be possible to use the application for free simply by redownloading the app. If you're having any issues paying for the application, please get in touch with the developers.

If your phone is not jailbroken, then the odds of you having a virus on the iPhone are infinitesimally low.

How much space is used by your Other? You may be able to reduce.

With an iOS device, the “Other” space in iTunes is used to store things like documents, settings, caches, and a few other important items. We can't know if there's a "fixture" because we can't examine your phone. But Apple can. Make a Genius Bar appointment and get your phone evaluated.

I got the same problem. The percentage of getting this problem is around 10% of all my dial/receive calls.
The problem usually appears when I receive calls. The phone app will freeze, and I cannot dial or receive calls even I closed the phone app, however, most other apps work properly.
Once this problem happens, I will not be able to turn off the phone by holding sleep button, the only way I can get rid of it is holding sleep and home button at the same time to reset the iphone.

It's a problem that Apple is having with their App updating system. The best solution is to be patient, and wait for Apple to solve their systemic problem.

What is the problem with with the apps

Ok so the heading says it all, seriously i downloaded a new app yesterday and since then boom nothing is working, i doubt its the spp or else it wouldnt be up there, but also when i sinc my iphone with my computer it wont pick up any of the apps i have purchased or downloaded, i haven't downloaded .0.2 because i have heard horror stories about it and until i get good feedback i wont be updating, is anyone having these problems? also im getting errors with programs when tryin to sinc with my iphone from the pc, it just says these apps were not installed because of a problem!!????? seriously what is going on here, this is supposed to be a good phone and nothing but problems! what a joke

ive had the problem of apps that worked stop working - for awhile i was doing a reset on my phone which fixed it - but doing a reset wipies out your usage and standby times until the next full charge
i have founf (and i dont know if this will work for anyone else0 - when an app stops working (and when that happens usually several or all of them stop working)
just turning the phone off 9slide to power off0 and then back on usually clears it up - and it keeps my usage times

I'm assuming your iPhone is not jailbroken?
You likely have an app that's misbehaving. Try restoring as new and see how it runs factory fresh.
Also, maybe your Home button is not functioning correctly. This has been a widely reported problem. Try cleaning under it with a vacuum or compressed air.
Note that you have a 1 year warranty - you may need to use it.

My gmail, which is correctly configured for Mail with gmail SMTP and Google IMAP, works for awhile on Mail, which I leave open while working on other applications. But several times a day I get msg from Google: "We recently blocked a sign-in attempt to your Google Account" . . . and requiring me to verify my account details, re-enter passwords, confirm security settings (or change them from "disable" to "enable less secure methods" and so on). In Mail I also have tried "taking all accounts online", and re-entering my gmail password inside Mail account settings. These steps successfully re-set comms between gmail and Mail ... for awhile, then it happens again. Enough occurrences over a work day that I just quit Mail and revert to accessing gmail directly. Apple Care advisor and an Apple knowledge base article say that Apple can't deal with this, as gmail is third-party app, and they refer me to gmail, and so far I've found nothing helpful there.
From today I also have several instances of a window saying "Mail has unexpectedly closed" and asking me to Re-open it.
I also use Yahoo mail, which stops working with Mac Mail at the same time as gmail, but I do not receive notices to re-verify from Yahoo.

Simple:
File -> Export to get your photos out of the iPhoto Library. In the Export dialogue you can set the kind to Original and you'll get back exactly what you put in.
Apps like iPhoto2Disk or PhotoShare will help you export to a Folder tree matching your Events.
Once exported, you can then trash the iPhoto Library - just drag it from the Pictures Folder to the trash and empty it.
After that, if you're entirely neurotic about it, just put the iPhoto app in the trash and empty it.
