Problem in workflow process when update status of CC32 via workflow

Hi,
i am working on workflow support issue which is relating to CC31/CC32, here we create change number in CC31, but we won't change status of CC31 in CC32. it is possible thru workflow item only. but when 3 rd person updating status from 2 to 3, he is geting error, because the previous statuses are not updated. it's happening sometimes only not all the times. why.

Unfortunately, this means that content on some sites will be broken until the content provider changes their site to conform to the new development approach required by modern versions of IE.
You can try to work around these issues by using Compatibility View:

If that is too inconvenient, using Google Chrome may be a preferable alternative.

Error when updating Playbook OS version via Blackberry Desktop Manager

I have a batch of old playbooks which having the stack charging issue, but I found that I can update the OS to the newest version (2.1.0.1917) via Blackberry Desktop Manager, then the charging algorithm will be changed to the updated one and go over this dead battery issue. I was able to do so successfully in the past week smoothly on several devices.
But since this Monday, the Desktop Manager is saying "An updated Blackberry Desktop Software component must be installed before you can continue" when downloading the Desktop software and will appear "There was an error updating your software, an error has occurred while downloading the Blackberry Desktop Software.Please try again." and preventing the process. Seems there are some change on the server side starting this week which has caused this problem, but there's no error code to locate the exact issue.
I tried on 2 different computers as well as completed uninstalling and re-installing the Desktop manager, also tried to disable the automatic update as been advised in some threads. So no clue how to deal with it for now. It will be highly appreciate if some one can share some idea.

First I would like you to do a Back Up of your PlayBook using your computer and BlackBerry Desktop Software.

ESS/Leave Reqest Workflow Problem Still in Process when Escallated

Helo Every one,
My leave request workflow is Zworkflow which is working fine in the production.Recently in the last month business request for escalation of leave request when direct manager not approved with in the time frame.
So i added latest end to the Approve task which uses the ABAP class CL_PT_REQ_WF_ATTRIBS and Method Dummy.
So the task has 3 outcomes one is deadline reached,process obsolete and processed. and after that i added a loop which will create new work item when escalated.
When i apply a leave on the portal the workflow is triggering and stopping in the Approve step in the log which is fine and when i with withdrawn the leave without any escallation it is taking one of the brach Processed which i mentioned above and reaching to the event and completing the workflow which is 100%.
When the direct manager doe'nt approve then it is escallating to the next level manager which is fine.Once the escallation happen and the leave is withdrawn by the Employee(Initiator) then it is not taking any of the 3 paths which i mentioned above and not reacting at all.But the status in the workflow container REQ.STATUS is changing to "WITHDRAWN".
The same thing is happening for the APPROVE once escallation happens.It keeps on escallating even the leave is approved and posted in the database.
Please reply me if you are not clear.

Hi Raja,
Here is how I can think of, based on your requirement.
I hope you are using modelled deadline. Have the process control step in the deadline branch with function set workitem to obselete. This makes the actual work item to obselete everytime it reaches the deadline and make it create one with an escalated agent. And also keep the dialog task in the loop.

Is it just me, or do most of the upgrade problems (not bugs) happen when updating "over-the-air", rather than using a computer and iTunes ?

I have used iTunes on a computer every time, and so far have had no problems like the ones we are seeing here.

Absolutely!! I've had no problems upgrading the iPhone using iTunes. It also allows me to backup the iPhone's settings so I can recover them if something goes wrong in the upgrade process. I have always upgraded using iTunes and would not do it any other way.
My wife upgraded to iOS6 directly to her iPhone 4S and lost her contacts and other information, and had problems with wifi access, etc. At the next iOS change, I did the upgrade on her phone through iTunes and had no problem.
Even MacWorld reports that upgrading "over the air" directly on the iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch can create instability in the OS.

Facebook: Why doesn't it show "via iPhone or Ipod" when updating status via the Facebook App?

I see a lot of updates by other users which say "via Iphone", "via Ipad3", etc. But I don't get it for my updates even though I use the Facebook App. Even I tried using Facebook via Safari. Same results. I checked all the settings in my Ipod and settings in Facebook as well. I assume it should detect automatically. Is there something I'm missing? I like resolving issues myself. But this time I'm frustrated because of this ridiculously negligible issue. Please help.

I have this same problem. On my iPhone 4 running 4.3.5, when I download a podcast from inside the itunes app on my phone, it appears to download correctly, but doesn't show up in the list in the ipod app.

Problems with my curve when updating software

My computer crashed when my curve was updating software and now will not switch on. The red light flashed at the top. On a previous forum post advice was given that suggested that I should attempt to reinstall the software as I had been doing before and that would fix the problem. However when I plug my phone back into my laptop I get a Window's message telling my that Window's does not recognize the device and that it is not working correctly. The Blackberry desktop manager does not connect with the phone either. I have only had this phone for 5 hours, please help me!

2. What is the OS on the device you were replacing, if you recall?
3. Disconnect the USB cable, Reboot the computer from off, and try it all again.

Approval process when updating a Sales Order

I have created a UDF that specifies whether a Sales Order has been "Picked" and would like to ensure that a user cannot modify the Order after this change of status without an Approval. I have my SQL code and it works properly but only when the Sales Order is created and does not get triggered when it gets modified.

This is far more complex to implement and can hamper the performance.
FYI. The user updating the Sales Order can be only found in the ADOC (History table)

Apart from the aboce, you have to also check in the ADOC table, the Update datetime with the Update datetime of the sales order and the updated field. You have to test this thoroughly before implemting

Error when updating status in bill of exchange

Hello everyone,
Our customer tried to move a bill of exchange status to "Failed" we get the following error :
Reconciliation difference must be zero before reconciling [[Message 3821-8]]
I then tried using the Reconciliation button but it pops up a message saying that No unreconciled rows were found. the problem apeared after we operated an upgrade from 2005 A to 2007 A PL 41.
Any Idea on what the cause could be ?
N.B : The bill of exchange's posting date is 27/11/2008 and it's due date is 15/05/09, I made sure to re-open the posting periodes for those dates, but it didn't solve the problem.
Any help would be much apreciated, as it is a very critical matter.

Problem with Graphic Card when Update 10.5.5

Hi, I update from Combo update to 10.5.5 and when Mac restart the desktop looks "like pixelate" all around the screen (only desktop wallpaper no icons) when i opened finder or other application this "pixels" erased like use "tool eraser in photoshop" . anybody helpme.

Which graphics card is in your iMac? It might be related to the new video drivers bundled in the 10.5.5 update. A temporary solution would be to revert to the previous version that was in 10.5.4, while waiting for a fix to come out.

Help! about process chain execution status

we nearly have one problem about the process chain execution status,
when error occured during process chian execution, we fixed it in time,
however, even the error repaired, its status still showed yellow, and this
stop the subsequent process to excute.

Try this method
Open the messages of a failed step by right clicking on it and selecting 'display messages'.
In the opened popup click on the tab 'Chain'.
In a parallel session goto transaction se16 for table rspcprocesslog and display the entries with the following selections:
1. copy the variant from the popup to the variante of table rspcprocesslog
2. copy the instance from the popup to the instance of table rspcprocesslog
3. copy the start date from the popup to the batchdate of table rspcprocesslog
Press F8 to display the entries of table rspcprocesslog.
Now open another session and goto transaction se37. Enter RSPC_PROCESS_FINISH as the name of the function module and run the fm in test mode.
Now copy the entries of table rspcprocesslog to the input parameters of the function module like
described as follows:
1. rspcprocesslog-log_id -> i_logid
2. rspcprocesslog-type -> i_type
3. rspcprocesslog-variante -> i_variant
4. rspcprocesslog-instance -> i_instance
5. enter 'G' for parameter i_state (sets the status to green).
Now press F8 to run the fm.
Now the actual process will be set to green and the following process in the chain will be started and the chain can run to the end.

IPhone/iTunes backup error when updating to iOS 4.2

Just bought an Iphone 4 a few days ago and tried several times to update it to iOS 4.2.... it fails EVERY TIME when the iTunes tries to proceed the phone's backup. An error occur and closes the iTunes without updating the phone.
Such problem didn't happen when updating my iPad... really don't know how to skip this problem and finally update my iPhone properly.
*** Apple!?!?!?
PS. I already downloaded the iTunes again, tried to "restore" my iPhone but the same thing keeps happening...

JTextPane inside JScrollPane resizing when updated

I've been struggling with this problem and checking the forums, but didn't find a solution, so I hope someone can help...at least help me for the nice picture :) It has to do with JTextPane's automatically resizing to their content on a GUI update, rather than scrollbars appearing (the desired result).
Basically, I have a scenario where I am creating a series of multiple choice answers for a question. Each answer consists of a JTextPane inside a JScrollPane, and a JRadioButton, which are all contained in a JPanel (called singleAnswerPanel). So for 2 answers, I would have 2 of these singleAnswerPanels. There is a one large JPanel that contains all the singleAnswerPanels (called allAnswersPanel). This allAnswersPanel is contained in a JScrollPane. Graphically, this looks like:

So assuming both answer JTextPanes are filled with text beyond their current border (scrollbars appear as expected) and the user wishes to add more answers. I have a button to add another singleAnswerPanel to the containing JPanel (allAnswersPanel), and then I validate the main JScrollPane that contains the allAnswersPanel as it's view. The problem that occurs is the existing single answer JTextPanes resize to the size of their text and the vertical scrollbars (only vertical ones setup) of the JTextPanes dissappear! My intent is to keep the existing JScrollPanes the same size (with their scrollbars) when a new answer is added.
The code snippet below shows what gets done when a new answer is added:
