Problem installing PC Suite 6.84

Question

PC: P4 WinXP-Pro Service Pack2, fully patched.
Memory: 2GB, HDD:80GB+120Gb
Nokia 9300
Have been trying to install PCSuite 6.84.10.3 but keep getting a message saying "This version of PC Connectivity Solution cannot be used with the currently installed version of [3]. Update or uninstall [3] before trying to in stall PC Connectivity Solution again." (Screenshot attached)
Thing is, I have unistalled my previous ver 6.83.14.1, run the Nokia_PC_Sui te_Cleaner_3_6.exe, searched & removed every file with nokia/PcSuite in its name, using JV16 searched & removed every registry entry remotely connected to Nokia/PCsuite, uninstalled the Connectivity cable drivers from Device Manager, but it still won't install. Now I cant even install the previous versions.
After the full cleanup, installation starts, the top bar stops at 64%; & the bottom bar stops at 25% & then the above message pops up.
My main concern is why would PCSuite not remove & install on its own, over the previous installation, as the program seems to know what to see for a previous version, can it not just delete/over-write it.
Any help would be appreciated & gratefully accepted.

BTW: Go also folder, C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Installations\{A982E6CC-9F0D-4948-9B18-BDFD55DE4A72} and zip & save those log files to savefile.com)
suek -> Try this:
Click Start menu > Run > give command: Regedit > Ok > open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE key > Select CDDB > Edit > Permissions -> and check that there are same permissions as in SOFTWARE key -> if there are difference, add missing permissions in CDDB key (and make a same thing also in sub keys of CDDB)
