Problem Installing the essbase component (11.1.2)
Hi,
I try to install the hyperion 11.1.2 essbase component on one of the linux server i have. Every thing installs fine except the oracle http server shows me the status as failed.I checked the log files. not much unusal i see in the logs.
I have unzipped the following into a common folder.
Installer
foundation services part 1 to 4
essbase client
essbase server
additional components
palnning
fdm
then after the installation wizard launches i have selected by tier and select the service tier it selects the essbase and foundation by default and proceeded..
I have already installed the webapplication tier on other linux server i have.

So do you mean that the BPEL respository was already there when you did the install? If yes, then that explains the mismatch error. You should always clean up the old references if doing a reinstall. Drop the user and schemas related to PM and do a reinstall.

When I recently purchased my first iMac I was disappointed to find that there was no DVD making facility. I am thinking of purchasing a box set of iLife that includes iDVD and just installing the iDVD component. Can someone please confirm that tyhis will work? If not any suggestions?
If you have to purchase an iLife disc in order to obtain the iDVD application remember that the iLife 11 disc only provides themes from iDVD 5-7. The Software Update no longer installs the earlier themes nor do any of the iDVD 7 updaters available from the Apple Downloads website contain them.
Currently the only sure fire way to get all themes is to start with the iLife 09 disc:

You then can upgrade from iDVD 7.0.3 to iDVD 7.1.2 via the updaters at the Apple Downloads webpage.

Having problems installing the new flash player
As the title say im having great problems installing the new flash player. I have downloaded it many times and tried installing each time, still nothing. Ive tried installing it offline with my computer totally disconnected from the internet, nothing. Each time i try and install it, it goes through 2 windows (one saying if i want to run it, and one asking for permission) and after they disappear, the icon also disappears strangely =S. I checked it on task manager and it is just sitting there doing nothing. Please help.

Has anyone had a problem installing the AdobePatchInstaller.exe for Raw images?

I just bought a 2013 late model Mac Book Pro Retina and am wondering if it is worth installing windows through boot camp.
If I install the windows component in order to run an exe file and its component "Declans Korean Flash Cards"... will it make my mac suseptible to viruses overall due to having a windows component? also will it make my mac slower as wellIf you are only going to use one or two window only programs then I wouldn't waste the space. Try WinonX it allows you to install exe. Files on Mac without installing windows.

Problem installing the free trial for Illustrator on Creative Cloud
Has anyone had any problem installing the trial apps on Adobes Creative Cloud? I've been trying to install it but everytime I click on download, the page loads and it says "xx is downloading..." but it's not doing anything. I thought it may be to do with the internet connection and so have tried it at a couple of places now, but it's the same thing. Anyone come across the same problem? I just want to get illustrator and photoshop on my laptop for some work but it seems like the most economically friendly or even only way is through the Creative Cloud....
Stressed and confused!Nobody can help you without proper technical information such as system specs and what Internet connection you are actually on. Trivial things like using a different W-LAN can make all the difference.

I don't know what to tell you. I get the same crap. I have been into computers for about 25 years now and it really ticks me off that after all these years these companys can not put out something that works. It seems like they put it out then expect the buyer to fix there screw ups. Why should we have to do there jobs and have to pay for it too?

I am having a problem installing the updated version 10.3.1.55 on my laptop.
I am having a problem installing the updated version of Itunes 10.3.1.55 on my laptop which uses Windows XP operating system. I have download the software from Apple's website and have successfully installed it. However, when I launch Itunes I get an error message "Itunes was not installed correctly" "error 7 (windows error 999)". I have uninstalled the software, deleted all associated files, and reinstalled the software, but I am still having the same problem. I did not have any issues with the older version of Itunes. Does any one have a work around for this problem, or how can I download the old version I was using?

I am trying to install the packages SAPKIIBIIP1 to SAPKIIBIIP9. I am working under Windows Server 2003,SAP NetWeaver 7.0 and the component is the BI_CONT 7.03.
The message i get is:

Notes on phase DDIC_ACTIVATION
In this phase the imported Dictionary objects are activated. This phase
can terminate due to the following reasons:

o TP_FAILURE: The program tp could not be executed. For more
information, see the SLOG or ALOG log file.
o TP_STEP_FAILURE: The tp step DDIC activation could not be performed
successfully. To see the cause of the error in the activation log,
choose Goto -> Log -> Queue.
If you import two or more Support Packages in one queue, and you do not activate them in the correct sequence, activation errors may
occur. In this case, the activation errors disappear when you repeat
the activation run. To do this, choose Support Package -> Import

Problems Installing the new version 7 of itunes
I upgraded itunes to the new version 7.0 and when I try to load itunes I get a message "Quick time version 7.1 is installed Itunes requires version 7.1.3 or later version be installed. In the Itunes version 7 you automatic load the new quick time version 7.1.3 with the package. During loading Itunes version 7 I get a message add new missing files or repair damaged files. I select yes, the second choice is to uninstall Itunes. No luck still got the same message above. I tried uninstalling Itunes to see if there was a problem with the oirginal install, still recevied the repair files or add missing files message while downloading. Have also tried installing quick time version 7.1.3 sperately. Nothing seems to work. Any suggestions???
Seems to be this upgrade... I can start quick time and I get the error message when I try and load Itunes?? Can anyone help out??I was able to fix my problem by going into add and delete programs. Select itunes and there will be an area "click here for support infomation" Check and run repair. Do this for both Itunes and Quick Time, but do Quick time first. After I did that itunes came right up and started to run. Good Luck!!

Having problems installing the new update on my Windows 7 machine.
Whenever I open Creative Cloud, it forces me to install an update. When I try to install, I receive this message, "There seems to be a problem with the file download. For troubleshooting tips, please visit our customer support page.(Error code: 201) Contact Customer Support" Any ideas on how to fix this?
