Problem loading cs2 on my 10.5.8 but cs1 runs just fine...help?

I have an older G5 tower that is running 10.5.8 and have had photoshop cs2 on it since about 2006 and friend gave me a copy of Adobe Creative Suite standard and CS2 premium upgrade. I figured I needed to uninstall photoshop so I did and then I finished installing everything I can't load any cs2 programs, the cs1 programs load fine so this is where I am asking for help. how can I get the cs2 versions to load?

Here is what the warning said
"The installer has detected an installation on Version Cue 1.0 on your computer. Please see the user documentation for information about running Version Cue 1.0 and Version Cue CS2 simultaneously, as well as how to migrate projects from Version Cue 1.0 to Vesrion Cue CS2"
so far that was all I came across.

I should have explained further. The game opens in a new window over to the upper left of my screen, leaving the original page underneath. I tried minimizing it so that I could get to my toolbar and did the View > Zoom > Reset. This has no effect. The lower portion of the game is still not showing. Using other browsers the window or frame of the game is much larger, therefore everything shows.

I recently purchased an iMac, learned the hard way that iDVD is not loaded, tried to copy iDVD from my MacBook but came up short. Each time I launched iDVD I got a message that I have no Themes even though the Mac I took it off runs just fine.

Tried to load iDVD from my MacBook onto my new iMac but keep getting a message that it can find any themes. iDVD runs just fine in the MacBook but for some reason when I copied it from the MacBook using a flash drive and download it on the iMac the themes went away. Suggestions?

The themes, when installed, will be in a Themes folder inside the HD/Library/Application Support/iDVD folder. Check there and when you find it copy it to the same folder on your new Mac.
Then go to iDVD's advanced preference pane and point iDVD to the location of the Themes folder:
If you can't find the Themes folder on your old Mac you can do a custom install of iDVD and its resources from the disk that came with the old Mac. It will look similar to one of these:

Problem loading CS2 disks

Trying to load CS2 onto Win 7 machine. PC gets through disk 1 fine (takes about 20 minutes). The PC cannot read disk 2. Physical disk looks to be in perfect condition. What to do?

Forget the discs.
They won't work anyway since they contain a copy of the software which requires activation - and Adobe shut down the CS2 activation server a couple years ago. So your CS2 serial number will never successfully activate the software again.
Download a copy of the non-activated CS2 from Error: Activation Server Unavailable | CS2, Acrobat 7, Audition 3
Install then enter the new non-activation serial number provided at that link. Your existing serial number will no longer work.

Problem loading CS2 with Version 5 not 5.5

When I try to load CS2 the computer says it can't find a copy of 5.5. I only have 5.0. Is there a work around or do I need to buy a copy of 5.5? Thanks, Lou

Firefox will not load any webpage, but Chrome works just fine. What is wrong?

Whenever I open Firefox I get the message 'Problem loading page' on every website I try. This just started today. I am having the same issue with IE, but Chrome is working fine. It is not a problem with my internet, as Chrome and my PS3 have no problem connecting to the internet.

Thanks, turns out I got a virus somehow. BWContextHandler32.exe is reporting itself to my firewall as the game BulletStorm, which I do not have, and somehow attached itself to Firefox and probably IE as well. I figured it was bogus so I blocked it. Still not sure why it just started blocking Firefox. I was denying access to it for a couple days, darn procrastination, and Firefox was working fine. Now I just have to get rid of it...I really hate windows sometimes...

Line Out Speaker Problems, but Headphones work just fine?

So my computer was working beautifully yesterday, but today, my speakers sound awful. The bass sounds alright but any treble just sounds echoey and/or scrambled. It's also just really quiet at times. My headphones work just fine though. Any suggestions?

If the headphones are OK, then check your speakers. If they are powered speakers there may be a problem with the speaker's amplifier or you could have a loose connection.

No matter what website i go to mozilla goes straight to problem loading page. i clearly have internet connection but it won't go to any websites. what's wrong with it and what should i do?

You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.<br />

I note that several people are having problems loading MS Word files into Pages and the answers have not been helpful. I too, have had this problem recently, whereas a few weeks ago the uploads worked as the manual said. Now, a MS Word 2 doc is rejected

Perhaps the problem lies in the version of the Word file. Does anyone know what versions Pages 09 will accept? I have re-installed iWorks09, but that did not solve the problem. My operating system is 10.6.8 and I am current on updates.

The Word 2 doc is ancient. I wouldn't even know where to find one to test.
The obvious thing to test is open the documents you previously opened successfully.
If they still open successfully, then it is highly likely that the version that is the problem.

You can set up an iCloud email account in earlier versions, which means you can get Mail, Contacts and Calendars from iCloud email.

Only the first page is printed reduced as setup. All pages afterward are full size with information cut off. Recent problem. Can print from Safari just fine. How can I get all pages to be reduced size?

Reset all Firefox printer settings

Problem loading styles from CS2 to CS4

I just upgraded to InDesign CS4. When I open a file I created in CS2, none of the object styles I defined in that document are available. I tried to load the object styles from CS4 (pointing to the CS2 file that contains the styles), but it brings only 1 of about 15 styles across. In addition, the only style that comes across is now grayed out, so I can't apply it anyway. Has anyone else had this happen?

Personally,I don't think is a strange question, mainly because I will be in the same position soon. If I understand correctly, you are concerned that you wont be able to install CS4 64bit if you have to install CS2 first. Is that correct?
If so, I'm in the same boat. I assume that it will be possible as it is possible to run CS2 in 64bit mode.
