Problem loading hierarchies

Hello, friends.
I have a problim loading the hierarchy via process chain :
- It doesn't become active after the loading. But the flag
"and flag for activation or activate it" is switched on.
What should I do in order the hierarchy to become active automatucaly after the loading?

Symptom
The following problems occur when hierarchies are loaded with process chains:
The hierarchy is not stored
The hierarchy is stored but it is not activated
The hierarchies are not saved in the sequence that is specified in the 'Save hierarchy' variant.
Solution
The settings in the InfoPackage are now only valid to a limited extent, they are overridden by settings of the process types if InfoPackages are used in process chains.
The hierarchy is not stored:
It is not sufficient to only use the 'Load data' process in the process chain. A 'Save hierarchy' process must also be included in the chain. When you use the 'Load data' process, the hierarchy is only saved in the PSA or in the temporary hierarchy tables (for IDOC). The hierarchy in the M-version is not posted to the InfoObject hierarchy table until you use the 'Save hierarchy' process.
The hierarchy is stored but not activated:
Even if 'Activate automatically' is set in the InfoPackage, the hierarchy is only activated automatically if the indicator 'Activate after loading' has been selected in the variant of the 'Hierarchy save' process. You only require a realignment run for the hierarchy if the hierarchy takes the form of aggregates. In this case, the hierarchy is activated by the realignment run, but only if the activation flag in the 'Save hierarchy' process is set. As a result, the hierarchy is flagged for activation for the realignment run.
The hierarchies are not saved in the sequence specified in the 'Save hierarchy' variant:
You can specify several InfoPackages in the 'Save hierarchy' variant, so that several hierarchies can be saved with one variant.However, the sequence specified in the variant is not explicitly adhered to (which is important, for example, if hierarchies are saved as a subtree).If you want to ensure this, a 'Save hierarchy' process must be inserted after each hierarchy load process and these processes must be placed in a sequence one after the other.

Problem loading hierarchies after upgrade 7.0

Hi,
We have just upgraded our development-system from BW 3.5 to BI 7.0 (SP15). When we try to load hierarchies with a process chain we got this error message:
No hierarchy found for the selection criteria entered (RSAR 313).
We first do a LOAD in the chain and that part is ok. After that we have a SAVE and it's here we got the problem.
I've looked at OSS-note 1168238, but it does not help us.
Have anyone else had the same problem?

Hi,
The problem can happen that the Hierarchy save step starts to early in the chain if the hierarchy load takes longer then the time
out time configured in the monitor or the infopackage. In the infopackage if you goto the menu option "scheduler" > "Timeout time"
you can check what the setting for the timeout time is for the hierarchy load. If the timeout time is shorter then the actual time it took
to load the hierarchy then you should increase the value of the time out time. In the Hierarchy save process type the option
"activate hierarchies after loading or mark for activation" should always be flagged as this can also cause the problem, see the note

Application document not posted: while loading hierarchies

Hi,
I am trying to load hierarchies for 0costcenter and 0material. I am getting the error '51 Application document not posted'. The load is successful for master data as wellas text data loads. The connections are fine and parter profiles too. Please let me know the step by step by procedure to solve this error.
Also let me know what can be possible reasons due to which this problem occurs.

Loading hierarchies for 0GL_ACCOUNT InfoObject

Hi,
I cannot load hierarchies into 0GL_ACCOUNT InfoObject. I have created InfoPackage and in Update Data options I can only choose 'Only PSA' option. I have loaded attributes and texts without any problems. What should I do?

Is a save step neccessary in a Process Chain when loading hierarchies with an ABAP program?

We are loading hierarchies using the ABAP routine found here in the SDN.
We have come accross the issue where the process chain loads successfully, but does not update the hierarchy (this problem is documented in the SDN). It is not a consistent issue, but it causes problems when it does occur.
OSS note 652856 points out that a SAVE HIERARCHY step is needed after the load and before the Change Attribute run.
We have added the step to the process chain, which leads me to the question.
In using the ABAP program to load hierarchies is the addition of the Save Hierarchy step necessary?
Will that resolve the issue with hierarchies not updating?

Yes, SAVE HIERARCHY step is required when hierarchies are loaded as part of process chain. This step ensures that the hierarchy data loaded to BW has been saved. Then we have to run ACR so that these hierarchies will be activated and adjusted.
This is the reason why even the hierarchy data loaded using infopackage needs this step. This step is not required if the Infopackage is triggered manually.

Load Hierarchies to Z CostElement InfoObject

Hi,
I have to load Hierarchies to a newly created Z CostElement (ZCOSTELEM) InfoObject.
So I thought of using the same way how 0COSTELMNT is loaded. 0COSTELMNT is loaded using DataSource 0COSTELMNT_0102_HIER.
When I tried to create Transfer Rule for my ZCOSTELEM InfoObject:
1) It asked for the source system. I have selected proper R/3 system.
2) Then it prompted with available DataSources. Here I'm not able to see 0COSTELMNT_0102_HIER.
Any idea why I'm not able to see DataSource 0COSTELMNT_0102_HIER?
Is it the correct process to load hierarchies to newly created InfoObjects? or anyother way?
Please help me.

Very true! We are also working on such an system, a combo of flat files & R/3 data. But I can suggest you to automate the process of changes or ask users to do these changes in releases of 3 or 6 Months. This way at least you can save some effort for the manual loads. Also, you can schedule these loads via process chains, & just do the save hierarchies steps. The only problem here is any change in ATTR master must be also done for the HIER which requires manual effort for some dimensions viz. Biz units.

A lot of tabs loads and tells me there was a problem loading the page. How can I stop all the tabs loading because ist slows down Firefox.

When I open Firefox, a lot of tabs try to open at the same time. They all say Problem loading the page. It happened after I tried to download a owners manual for Harley Davidson motor cycles. How can I stop all but one tab from opening.

Delete [http://kb.mozillazine.org/sessionstore.js sessionstore.js] and sessionstore.bak in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder]
If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.

1) Try to remove the addin and then add again.(Before doing this close all the excel process from the task Manager)
2) Check weather essexcln.xll and essxleqd.xla are corrupted.

Error while loading hierarchies

Dear all
I am faicng the following errors while loading hierarchies from R/3
1.Error"Error in the hierarchial structure"
When i open the logs i can see the follwing analysis,but not able to understand
Analysis
The node with the technical name 0000104 appears more than once under the node with the ID 10400011. A node must be hung only once under its direct predecessor (parent). The nodes with the same technical name have the IDs 10400017 and 10400012.
When one of the nodes is an interval, this means that the other node is contained in this interval. When both nodes are intervals, this means that both interlap.
Possible solution
Remove the Duplicate Nodes
Can anyone explain this please

the hierarchy does have duplicate values. the possibility is that you are loading a set from R/3, where the system allows to have duplicate values in different nodes, but that doesnt hold true in the case of BI. so ask ur functional folks to nake the set unique and the load should go fine.

Problem loading data into write optimized dso.....

Hi ,
I am having problem loading the data from PSA to write optimised DSO
I have changed the normal DSO into a Write Optimised DSO. I have 2 data sources to be loaded into the write optimized DSO. One for Demand and one for Inventory.
The loading of Demand data from PSA to DSO happens fine with out any error.
Now while loading the Inventory data from PSA to DSO , i get the below errors
"Data Structures were changed. Start Transaction before hand"
Execption CX_RS_FAILED Logged
I have tried reactivating the DSO, Transformation, DTP and tried to load the data again to the write optimised DSO, but no luck, I get the above error message always.
Can some one please suggest me what could be done to avoid the above error messages and load the data successfully.

Check the transformations is there any routines written.
Check your Data struture of cube and DS as well.
Is there any changes in structure.
Data will load upto PSA normally, if is there any changes in struture of DSO, then the error may occur.just check it.

Is anyone having problems loading the newest version of iTunes (10.6.3) using Windows Vista? My current iTunes program version 10.6.1 keeps telling me there is an update but when I try to load it the information box goes away and nothing happens. Ok. Here's the results. I tried all the music videos I wanted to put onto the IPod and the results were:
I was able to get good results with 2 full length music videos and 2 video singles(only 2 videos on each disk). For a total of 4 videos.
I was able to encode 5 full length music videos, but the results were distorted (video and audio).
I was unable to copy 2 full length videos due to error failures. 1 was a "No Title Found" error, the other was a "NAVDAT" error.
I guess my next question is: Do you know of any other program(s) that I might try, to see if I can get good results with the videos that didn't work with Handbrake?
