Problem logging on to Lloyds TSB Online Banking since recent upgrade to their sytem.

Tried for the last three days to get on to Lloyds online banking website. Just get "connecting" progress within tab, with "waiting for secure2.lloydstsb.co.uk" message at base. Lloyds assure me as there is no error message displayed that the problem is with Firefox (this has only happened since lloyds updated their software a few days ago). Have checked I have the most up-to-date version; and updated all plug ins. Still no luck!

Installing the latest version of Java seems to have improved this for me although some pages still need to be reloaded to get them to display correctly once I am logged in.

    Generally speaking, your bank would use a cookie to store your card number (bad) or to associate your browser with its list of saved card numbers (less bad). If you have cookies cleared after each session, then you may be blocking this feature.
    To check your cookie handling for your bank's site, when you are on the site, right-click the page and choose View Page Info, then Permissions. Under "Set Cookies" most likely the "Use Default" checkbox is checked. The actual setting will appear in gray.
    If the actual setting is not Allow, then uncheck "Use Default" and check "Allow." This will take effect the next time you start Firefox or if you clear the site's cookies on the Security tab (View Cookies button) and then revisit the site.
    If the actual setting already is Allow, then some other feature (e.g., clearing history when you exit) or program (e.g., a security suite) is clearing the cookie.

    Any luck?

  • Nothing but problems since recent upgrade to Infin...

    I recently upgraded to BT Infinity. Previously I had a wireless connection throughout the house. Since the upgrade I have had quite a lot of problems. The hub is now in a different room than with the previous BB. I found that;
    1) Wireless not available in a few rooms
    2) Internet connection keeps switching off on laptop + PC
     I purchased a booster as advised by BT. This helps at times but then I realized that not all my issues were down to the wireless connection. I realize many different devices can interfere with the connection but prior to Infinity everything was fine. This is the only change in my house. There has been no new electrical devices.
    Now the following happens;
    a) Internet connection keeps going down on various devices - particularly at 11pm at night
    b) At times I cannot even connect with an ethernet cable from hub to laptop
    c) At times speedtest shows poor results
    I've had various ideas suggested by the BT employee who is attached to my case, unfortunately nothing has improved the situation and I am getting extremely frustrated with the problem. The following has been done;
    1) My hub has been replaced
    2) Channels reset
    3) Engineer has tried to remotely fix problem and also replaced some part of copper wire leading into house
    BT have recently sent me 2 powerline adaptors to try and set my hub away from the openreach box in the room it was in previously as I had no problems prior to the upgrade. Unfortunatelly BT have been unable to talk me through this and obtain a broadband connection. The BT employee is trying to set it up differently from the conventional way which he said has worked for customers before. I am awaiting the original employee to telephone me back in a few days as he is off work and his colleagues are not sure of the set up.
    I am also awaiting yet another Openreach engineer to call in a few days if the problem cannot be resolved.
    Initially for the first few weeks it was a complete nightmare contacting BT and having to keep repeating my story and having various employees reset channels and work their way through a set script. However recently a set person seems to have been assigned to this case and has been very dilligently phoning me and trying to resolve the problem. This is the only thing that has kept me sane as I was getting so annoyed by having to phone and take potluck with their general phone number.
    I would be pleased to hear from anyone with similar problems or suggestions to resolve this.
    Many thanks.

  • Logging in to RPD in online mode fails after upgrading rpd from 10G to 11g

    Hello guys
    I have an issue here..
    I have everything working in 10g using external table authentications by having 2 init blocks:
    ISAuthorization --- row wize initailization:
    select 'GROUP', UG.GROUPNAME from USER_USERGROUPS FFF, USER U, USERGROUP UG where
    UG.ID = FFF.USERGROUPS and
    U.ID = FFF.IS_SEC_USER and
    UPPER(U.USERNAME) = UPPER(':USER')
    ISAuthentication -- 5 target variables: User, email, loglevel,password, displayname
    select USERNAME, DISPLAYNAME, LOGLEVEL, EMAIL,PASSWORD from IS_SEC_USER
    where UPPER(USERNAME) = UPPER(':USER') and PASSWORD = IS_GET_MD5_VAL(':PASSWORD') ----- IS_GET_MD5_VAL is nothing but a store proc we have to encrypt passwords.
    Everything works perfectly in 10G where a new user gets created in the DB table, passwords assigned and encrypted, then I am able to log in using the new user.
    The admin user in 10G environment was 'Administrator/admin' which was native in 10g. During the upgrade process, I have set the new password for Administrator to be 'admin123' and upgrade was a success.
    Now that I have upgraded the rpd, when I open it in offline mode, I was successful by entering Administrator/admin123. However, when I try to open it in online mode, I encounter the below error:
    nqserror:13024 successful completion of initialization block "*ISAuthentication*" is required
    My 11g version is 11.1.1.6.5
    Any thoughts on how I can debug this issue?
    Thanks in advance

    Just an update:
    In my below set up:
    ISAuthentication -- 5 target variables: User, email, loglevel,password, displayname
    select USERNAME, DISPLAYNAME, LOGLEVEL, EMAIL,PASSWORD from IS_SEC_USER
    where UPPER(USERNAME) = UPPER(':USER') and PASSWORD = IS_GET_MD5_VAL(':PASSWORD')
    Variable User and password was 'Administrator' and 'admin' in 10G when I ran the test on the initialization block, however, when I test the same block in 11g rpd, these 2 variables are blank..
    I do have 'Administrator' user created through weblogic and it is showing up in the rpd.
    Any thoughts on why the variable is not working in 11g rpd?
    Thanks

  • I have problems connecting to Wi-fi with my iPhone since I upgrade to iOS 6

    Hi
    Did anyone have problems with iPhone wi-fi connection since upgrading to iOS 6? I can't connect to wi-fi network. The option to turn on the wi-fi is grey out. Did anyone know this is a common problem in people using iOS 6? Did Apple is already working in a solution? I'm worry about consuming all my cellular data plan because of this issue. If anyone could help providing some information on these matter I would really appreciated.

    Did you already try the troubleshooting mentioned here:
    iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim

  • Problems charging since recent upgrade.

    I dont know which upgrade it was but the most recent today is march 24th 2011 my phone is new iphone 4.
    Tried many different charges phone works fine except not being read by itunes so isnt even recognised as a usb device either.
    Still the normal charger with plug should work. Dont want to reset and loose all my setup data like internet and calendar or videos and just tons of settings,.
    what can I do now to maybe help this, I have 13% power now ..

    Vodafone are going to replace it (but it wont be a new phone and im none too happy), I think it is coincidental to the software upgrade. For my mind I cannot see how software should engage with the charging of the unit as if there is no power no operating system or drivers could be loaded into memory as there is no power to do that and even if there is a chip with loaded stuff already on it then it needs power a secondary battery could perhaps run some rudimentary charging controls but I would think there is only one battery.
    Still seems like a hardware failure.

  • Problems Logging In After Upgrading CSS/R&R

    I'm having problems logging in on my Thinkpad Z61t.  I recently upgraded from Client Security Solutions 7.0 to 8.0--in doing so, I had to install Rescue & Recovery 4.2, uninstall CSS 7.0, and then install CSS 8.0.  Now, however, when I power up my computer, it locks up on the logging-in screen.  Basically, where I need to swipe my finger, it won't read anything--it just locks up.  This doesn't happen every time--I can power off my computer and restart, and then it works.  But this still happens every day.  Does anyone know how to fix this?  Thanks!

    Thank you for everyone who responded to my post, and I apologize for the long delay in replying. We were forced to rollback to RH7 due to deadlines, and have just now been given the green light to troubleshoot the RH8 problems further.
    Amber: your suggestion of adding the font family/size to the ol tag solved my problem of the numbers appearing larger than they should. Thank you!
    As for my issue regarding bullets appearing "hollow", adding "list-style-type: disc;" to my ul tag (as suggested by Willam in this thread http://forums.adobe.com/message/2166981#2166981), solved that issue. Thank you.
    I have one remaining problem and that is my alpha lists. They are appearing as numbers when I preview or after compiling. I see Willam's comments in the mentioned thread of removing the list-style definition from the paragraph style and adding "list-style-type: decimal" to the ol tag. This would work if only I didn't have both numbered steps (1,2,3) and alpha steps (a,b,c). So my question is, how can I get my alpha steps to appear alphabetically instead of numerically? I'm not sure if this further complicates the situation, but I typically use the alhpa style within my numbered lists, so:
    1) Text...
         a)
    This is what I have in my CSS for my alpha style:
    P.NumberedStepABC {
    color: #000000;
    font-size: 10pt;
    list-style-type: lower-alpha;
    LI.P-NumberedStepABC {
    color: #000000;
    font-size: 10pt;
    list-style-type: lower-alpha;
    And my ol definition is:
    OL {
    margin-top: 0px;
    margin-bottom: 0px;
    font-size: 10pt;
    font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;
    Hopefully this makes sense. I am not a CSS expert and appreciate any suggestions.
    Thanks

  • Online banking site now shows login page as text-only; on different computer it still shows page with images and clickables -- is there a fix?

    Previously when I logged in to my INGdirect online bank account, the login window came up showing images and clickable hotspots. Recently, the login window changed to a text-only version. On two different computers running Firefox, the login comes up in the previous version, with images and clickable hotspots. I'm unaware of having done anything to change my settings either in Firefox or on the banking website. Because it seems to be localized on this computer, I've tried downloading latest version of Firefox, but got no change, login still comes up in text-only format.

    Try clearing your browser cache.
    Tools > Clear Recent History... - hit Details and make sure only Cache is selected, then select Everything and hit the Clear Now button.

  • Secured online banking and bill payment

    There was a tip on another post about how to bypass the automatic re-routing of the Bank of America main web page to the mobile page when accessing it using iPhone. I used that tip (went to the sign on page, not the main page) and successfully logged on to my BOA online banking web site. Everything looked the same as if I was using my pc with the Internet Explorer. I even looked at my PDF bank statement. So far no complain about accessing this BOA online banking site. However, I am not sure about paying bills online using the online bill payment function with my iPhone. I do not know if iPhone can handle it. I don't want things to get mess up. We are talking about real dollar here. Has anyone done it successfully? Again, I am not talking about using the BOA mobile online access, I am talking about the regular web page online banking.
    Thanks for any comments.

    From what I've seen the iPhone does support some browser security, I've accessed my own bank's website to check my balance and noticed the 'https:' as well as a lock in the address bar. So, it should be secure.
    Now, as far as your payments going through and being recognized, I think that as long as the various browser requests get forwarded properly and if the pages load properly, you should be all right. If you have two bank accounts try doing some small transfer between the two as a test. I myself don't use my bank's online payment feature, and I personally just feel...odd performing transactions over my iPhone, even checking my balance makes me feel a little weird, but it's so convenient with the iPhone browser.

  • OT - Problems logging on

    I had some problems logging on to the forum. And since at this moment there are only 6 user online, I guess more forum members experience these problems.
    But, as usual, you can still log on to the Bug Database (and then you're automatically logged on here as well):

    PS. Has there always been a "Check Spelling" button when posting a new thread?

  • I had to go back to IE 8 for online banking. Had to Clear SSL State, too in IE to make a new page work. Is there an equivalent in Firefox??

    My online banking website recently made some major programming changes. Since then, I have not been able to use Firefox for the banking website.
    The bank help desk had me install IE 8, then clear the SSL state using a feature in IE's options/content screen. So now the new page works in IE but still does not in Firefox. From what I have learned from the bank help desk, it appears that there is some kind of an ssl hand shake failure within the one page since their changes.
    Is there a similar feature in Firefox where I can clear the SSL state?

    First update back to Firefox 16.0.2, as staying on older versions leaves you extremely vulnerable to security holes.
    Then try using [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/email-this https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/email-this]

  • Since IOS8 upgrade unable to access online banking

    Unable to access online banking since upgrade.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  I've tried settings in Safari but anything I tried didn't work.

    Have you tried using a different browser since your update? Maybe that is worth checking

  • Since i upgraded my ipad to 7.0.2 there is a problem with the  photo images are

    can any one help my ipad photographs are now low quality with the a serious problem with the colours, this has all happened since i upgraded to 7.0.2

    Do the filenames contain special characters, like "ä,ü,..." or white space or are the vry long? Is there anything special about the image format? Try to export the edited versions in that case and reimport it with a different, shorter filename.
    For testing, create a new book with only the images you want to check.
    If this does not fix it, try rebuilding. Depress the option and command keys, launch iPhoto and rebuild the library.

  • Within last week I am unable to log on to Bank of America online banking. I have followed all suggested prior recommendations to the best of my ability but problem persists. BofA first told me it was a compatibility problem they were having with Mozilla

    I cannot log onto Bank of America website from Firefox. This problem started recently. At first BofA said they have a compatibility problem with new version of Firefox. Then they say no, it's a Firefox problem. I've tried the solutions listed in prior threads but none work. I have no problem logging onto BofA via IE.
    == URL of affected sites ==
    http://www.bankofamerica.com

    I got this problem when I upgraded to ver 3.6.12 from 3.6.11. I called BofA and after half an hour on phone, they told me to try using another browser. I used Intenet Explorer & they couldn't find the BofA site either. BofA had been told the problem was with any Firefoz version of 3 or higher. After I got off the phone with BofA, I downloaded an older version that I had been using without any problems & installed that.(3.5.15) That didn't work either.
    If the problem is with Firefox, why can't Internet Explored find the site either?

  • I can no longer log into my online banking website and have tried all of the suggested Firefox fixes apart from resetting Firefox, any other suggestions?

    When I try to enter my customer number to log into my online banking website, an error message reads:
    This form has been re-submitted. Re-enter your customer number and submit only once.
    When I called the bank to find out if they could help they said it was a browser issue and suggested I should use IE or Chrome (No thanks!).
    I have gone through all of the Firefox suggested troubleshooting fixes including deleting the cookie files. I have not yet tried resetting Firefox as I was hoping for a simpler solution before taking this step.
    Thanks for any help you may be able to offer.

    If it works in Safe Mode and in normal mode with all extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) disabled then try to find which extension is causing it by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.
    Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit" (Windows: Firefox/File > Exit; Mac: Firefox > Quit Firefox; Linux: Firefox/File > Quit)
