Problem LR 5 Using HDR
I just installed LR 5 and want to process an HDR photo in CS 5. When I select CS 5 on the "Edit In" the HDR option is greyed out. If I try to just process a photo in CS 5 I get a message that "This version of Lightroom may require the Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in version 8.1 for full compatibility.
CS 5 says my version has no updates. LR 5 says there are no upgrades although I have seen some reference to LR 5.2.
Can you folks help me sort this out.

In Lr5 select one of the 3 photos (only 1 highlighted in the film strip!). Right-click it, select <Edit in Adobe Photoshop CS5>, and then - in the upcoming dialog - select <Render Using Lightroom>. Lr5 then renders / creates a TIFF / PSD (according to your Preferences in >Edit >Preferences >External Editing tab) and sends it to CS5. CS5 will open (if it is not open already) and the image will be opened in CS5.
Do the same procedure with the other 2 images, each time making sure that only 1 image is selected in the film strip.
The 3 TIFFs / PSDs will automatically be re-imported in Lr and appear in the film strip in the folder where the 3 Raw images are.
Now you have 3 TIFFs / PSDs open in CS5. In CS5 go >File >Automate > Merge to HDR ...
You will have to save the newly created HDR under a new name, i.e. using <Save as>. Whenever you are using <Save as> in Photoshop - instead of simply using <save> - a new file is created that is not automatically imported in Lr. The automatic import works only for <Save>, not for <Save as>.
You then have to import the HDR manually in Lr - for instance via <Synchronize Folder>, which is the same as using the Import Dialog with <Add> selected at the top center.
After re-importing the HDR in Lr5 you can further edit it in Lr5; and also you can - but you don't have to - delete the three TIFFs / PSDs that were used for creating the HDR. I usually delete such TIFFs because they have no further use and I don't want to clog my HD with unnecessary image files.
PS: Just re-reading this, I notice that it is not absolutely necessary to select only 1 image in the film strip. You can select all 3 and all 3 will be rendered and opened in CS5 - one after the other. But this may tax your system's rescources. Possibly, it could crash your system if you don't have enough RAM..

CS2 is very old and reached its "end of life" a while back. So probably won't run on modern operating systems. If you can still run it, you'll need to uninstall what you have and re-install with the download link below to activate it.

Hi can anybody help please. I am having terrible problems trying to use my Nikon D7100 to tether. I have downloaded the latest Lightroom updates and also checked my firmware which is also the latest avaiable and still Lightroom wont detect my camera!. When I use a friends Canon camera it works every time!

This problem only happens in a cluster environment attached to a web server.
SP6 or earlier does not have such problem.
I noticed that the latest SP always formats the URL and returns it as a full
absolute URL to the browser. The problem is it uses the Weblogic Server host
URL where the request is processed (not the Web Server host URL) which is
not visible to the internet.
Is it possibly a bug in SP?

When I try to mirror my late 2012 macmini to my apple tv. I only see a black screen. I have no problems if I use my mid 2012 MBPr.
The mac mini is still on mavericks at present any advice welcome please. (There is no other monitor attached to the macmini would this be an issue?)

KenI have solve this problem.
I plug in a usb 3.0 HDMI blackmagic capture device in to the mac mini and connected the HDMI out of the macmini to the HDMI in of the black magic.
So it thinks it has a primary screen and it now mirror this the apple tv. -

we are working on a student project and would like to create customers (debtors) in an SAP IDES system.
Using the ref-customer to copy from, and some personal-data below, we get the error message
'Internal error: External no.assignment for reference customer/customer'
We also tried with BAPI_CUSTOMER_GETINTNUMBER, and ACCOUNTGROUP ZINT (New Internet Customer, others won't work?). But CREATEFROMDATA1 takes no CustomerNo created this way, nor it wants to create one 'internal'?

Thanks for your pointer. Actually The customer's reference number i was providing in the PI_COPYREFERENCE structure was a sold-to party customer and it uses external customer number assignment. When i used "New Internet Customer" (that doesnt use external assignment by default) as customer's account group, the customer was created successfully and assigned customer number was returned.
I want to ask now how could we give a customer number in the BAPI as i am unable to find any such column in any of the tables. (Customer number is an "out" parameter so it can only return the number of created customer). Secondly, how to chnage the external assignment property of a particular account group (like sold-to party). i.e, how could we change the account group configurations through SAP GUI??

I can't click on the 'Learn More' or 'Ok' options so cannot use Aperture. How do I overcome this problem?

I also don't seem to be able to disable the Mobileme account via the system preferences option as mobileme doesn't allow access with my password.Have you tried to disconnect from the Internet before launching Aperture? Then the MobileMe webpage should not be shown and you should be able to access the Aperture preferences and remove the MobileMe account from the "Preferences > Web" panel.
If this does not succeed, (Force) quit Aperture, log off and log on again, then remove the Aperture Preferences file (~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Aperture.plist)
from the Preferences Folder in your User Library and try again to launch Aperture. See http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3805 on how to remove the Preferences.

Rest modification in struts-config, you can do by urself. and also you have to write one action class which will take care of parameters and all business logic.
Above code you can reuse by bit modification. Action class you have to write by your own.
