Problem making/recieving calls whilst iPhone on charger.

When I make/recieve a call on my iPhone while it is on the charger (standard plug in charger supplied with iPhone), I feel some kind of static shock on my ear and anywhere else the iPhone comes into contact with my face. Does anyone else experience this, and should I be worried about it? I don't often make calls while charging, but I've experienced this more than once!

I have this issue as well. I am using an iPhone 6 plus, iPad Air 2, 5K iMac, and MacBook Pro. When I make a continuity calls from any device, the springboard crashes. This only happens with outgoing calls, incoming calls are functioning normal. I am currently working with multiple Apple Senior Advisors, and they are working directly with iOS a engineers. I have an active open case and will update this thread when a resolution is found.
Just a tip for everyone with this issue, restoring your devices and setting them up as new WILL NOT correct this issue. Save yourself the hassle. I did this with my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook and the issue still persists.

Can't make or recieve calls on iphone 4s, get modem/fax sound

Yesterday afternoon, I received a call and when I answered it, it was a loud modem/fax sound. So, I hung up and the person tried calling again and the same thing happened. I figured it was something on that person's end or just a glitch. I just let it go, and I didn't try making any calls until way later that night, which was succesful, by the way.
Today, I recieved a call, and the same thing happened. Around the same time yesterday afternoon. 24 hours later. I tried calling that person back and I got the loud modem/fax sound again. I tried calling a different number of theirs. Same thing.
I rebooted the phone and when I clicked the number to dial out, nothing happened. It wouldn't register that I was trying to make a call for at least three or four minutes after reboot. I was eventually able to call out.
Do you think the reboot helped and/or fixed the problem? Or will this happen again? If so, what could it be that is causing this?

Thanks for all those that have offered suggestions and advice. I now know what the cause of the problem is...
Apparently my phone has been 'blacklisted' by T-Mobile. They openly admit that they recognise the phone as being registered to me and owned by me as new. So they or myself can't understand why this has happened. They would have been quite happy to replace it but it wasn't actually purchased from them so now I have to battle with the Carphone Warehouse to get it replaced.
I'll be demanding some compensation for sure.

Facing problem with incoming calls in iphone 5

When a caller calls for second time within 10 seconds, the call is rejected saying that the user is not reachable.
This is not the carrier problem for sure, as I tried using other phone and dint find the problem.
Is this some known bug/feature???

I have not seen this type of behavior before. Let me get this correct, you say that if someone calls your iPhone 5 after just calling it within 10 seconds, they get a message stating "user is unreachable"?
What troubleshooting have you done with the iPhone? Restart (power off/on) and reset (hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release) the phone restarts, are the first two steps.
You say you tried this by calling another phone and it did not react like the iPhone?
This is not something I would say is a bug/feature. It may be something with your particular device. Suggest trying the troubleshooting, otherwise, connection issues are generally resolved by the carrier. You might have them check to ensure your account is provisioned correctly.

Problems making phone calls after update

I'm having problems when making phone calls, my phone was fine until I installed the update. Incoming calls work fine but when I try to call someone, the screen goes black and wont light up again until the call is finished or I switch off the phone. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thank you

Making a call using iPhone 4 but no sound?

Cannot hear ringing/people talking when making a call unless I turn on the loud speaker, what do I do to fix this?

It doesn't on mine. I'm assuming you are making a call from Contacts? If not then you want the dialpad to show so you can enter a number.

Hi everyone! I have a problem with incoming call on Iphone 4 32Gb.

By an entering call phone blocks the bottom part of the touch screen and doesn't allow to me to take the call. It happens in 3 cases from 20. I have this problem on 4 different Iphone 4 32Gb.
In the service center confirm my problem and say that phones aren't suitable to repair! It happens already with 4 under the account phone!
Phone is synchronized with MS Exchange Server 2010 on technology Exchange ActiveSync. Mail, contacts, a calendar is synchronized. Function Push is included.
At me also is Iphone 3Gs and Iphone 3G. With them such problems never arose!
Can be at someone there was a similar case?

hey buddy i sometimes have the same issue on the iphone 4 16gb.. it doesnt let me answer a call.. i just lock/sleep the iphone and unlock/wake the phone and that fixes it.. dont know y it happens but locking and unlocking help so..

Problems with recent calls on iPhone 5

I still cannot find a reasonable reason / solution for a couple fo problems with my iPhone 5, both regarding the Recents Calls list.
1. Some of the received/outbound calls do not actually appear
2. Sometimes it is just frustrating not to have them sorted in a normal order.
Anyone with the right trick to solve either or both of the above?

Have you tried resetting your device?
Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

Problems making & receiving calls

I have just been given a Nokia 95, I have inserted my vodafone contract sim card and everything works appart from making and receiving calls. I have contacted Vodafone and they say they can't help me it's a Nokia issue. Has anybody had this problem or can anybody help?
It displays the message call not allowed?

My sim card is fine and works in other phones.
Things I have tried so far:
Making sure all call barrings are inactive
Making sure all call diverts are inactive
Updating access points via a vodafone download
Updating the whole software of the phone via Nokia

Recently started encountering trouble with my iPhone 3G where it will 'stall' upon connection of an incoming or outgoing call. In either case the phone will ring (sometimes on outgoing calls it will cut off before this) but on connection the iphone cuts off and seems to stall for a few seconds. After this it acts very 'sluggish' and usually needs a soft reboot to get operating again properly. It manages texts and emails perfectly well, it just seems to be having trouble with calls.
I haven't installed any new apps recently and I have tried restoring the phone but to no avail.
Has anyone else experienced this issue and how did they get around it?

There are a lot of posts about this problem, I have been having trouble since my phone completely froze and I did a complete reset and used the backup I had to restore the phone. Today I spent the morning speaking to Apple who suggested a restore to factory settings and then sync as if a new phone. That is not to use the backup previously made. So far so good but I shall wait a while to see if all is well. O2 are sending a new sim card incase this is at fault.
Some people have had replacement phones, Carphone Warehouse suggested it was sent back to Apple but again I am waiting to see if the hard restore has worked.

I have skype credit and I would be using the keypad on the app to call landlines and mobiles in the U.S.A while either on wifi or mifi, would this also include a charge from my carrier AT&T? Also what about calling other countries the same way?

U need to have the BDI config in the jabber-config.xml file you upload to call manager number 1 and number 2 you also need a TCT device configured on the CUCM and assigned to that end user and have the end user associated with the TCT and CSF devices for device controll.
You also need to create UC Services and have a UC Service Profile assigend to the end user to allow directory look up.

IMac FaceTime not making/accepting calls from iPhone

I have Yosemite installed on my iMac, and IOS 8.1 on my iPhone 6. FaceTime on both are set to receive/make cell phone calls. Both are on the same WiFi.
When the iPhone rings, a dialogue box appears on the iMac for me to click Accept or Reject. If you Accept the call, it disconnects. Similarly, if you want to make a call (through any of the several methods), a dialogue box appears momentarily showing the call, then another dialogue box appears saying "Try Again".
Any suggestions?

I was looking for a new phone to replace my old Samsung Star, but I was unable to justify this expense. So, I saw Nokia Lumia 710 with it's GPS software and hardware as part of the package. Windows phone looks so beautiful that I just bought it last march, 23th.
Now, verifying this forum I realize that my problem, some how, exists since January in Europe. As many people here I have problems to end a call, but in my case the call never completes and when I try to disconnect Lumia just does nothing beyond show "disconnecting" forever. The only way to recover control is turning Lumia off.
Its true that my carrier has a very weak signal where I live (at my apartment), but my old Samsung at least make and receive calls. Some times I must move near to the window to have a better reception, but works. With Lumia, different from what I was expecting (a premium Nokia quality signal - the best possible reception), some times just do not work! Some times people calls me and the phone do not ring. Some times I receive that screen offering me the opportunity to send a message like "I'm at a meeting" or something like that, but I do not have the opportunity to receive that call. This is very frequent since I bought this Nokia. Some times, when I make a call, Lumia pretend to call, pretend that the other person is connected, but, in fact, there is no calling sound. The phone remains mute all the time, there are no call. When I give up, I press "disconnect" and Lumia shows "disconnecting" but nothing happens. To recover phone control I must turn it off to try again. Once I was so angry that I press many buttons and Lumia freezes up completely and was needed to remove battery to turn off.
About GPS, that was my main excuse to expend a lot of money on a new phone: Nokia Lumia GPS is disappointing. Lumia GPS looks like loose satellite signals very frequently. I decided to make a comparison between my Lumia and my wife's iPad. Working totally offline, side by side at my wife's lap, while iPad was able to show immediately every turn I make, Lumia takes long time to realize that. In fact, most of time, Lumia just realize that I turn when I was reaching next corner. I'm using Nokia drive 2 and, in this test, since I don’t have a GPS software at iPad, I just leave Lumia and iPad with the map showing our position. I do not set a destination.
Finally, my last disappointment is about windows Phone and the “one account policy”. Really? They think people will be happy to give up from their messenger accounts or Xbox accounts to use Windows Phone? When I turn on my Lumia for the first time it asks me to enter or create a Microsoft account. I think about and I realize that I don’t want to add payment information to my very old Hotmail/messenger account, so, I create a new one. My mistake because soon I discover that Windows Phone do not let me choose a different account for Messenger or Xbox.
I call Nokia in Brazil to find a solution for my two main problems: making/receiving calls and the GPS performance. The only solution they can think about was reset my phone. I do that a few hours ago. This time I choose to enter my Messenger account to be able to chat with my friends, but, of course, I loose my Xbox id created with the other account.
“One account policy” is so “not smart” that is very hard to understand why they do that. The need to reset the device to choose another account is unbelievable. Mean while, with iPhone/iPad, to change accounts is so easy…
I will test my phone for the next few days to verify if reset solve all my problems, but right now I’m very disappointed.

Reset Lumia 710 do not solved my problem. I was forced to send the device to technical support. Even if they was unable to reproduce the problems I faced at home, they did a flash reset (or something) and now my phone always ring when people call and I can end calls without a problem. For now those problems disappeared.

Problems making calls after upgrading to iOS7

Hi everyone. I'm stuck in a rut with this and I've called my service provider, but they weren't able to help me at all.
Anyway, so here's the situation: after upgrading to iOS7, I started having problems making outgoing calls. The voice prompt kept telling me to check my phone settings, and I did, but I didn't fine anything wrong with it. I tried to isolate the problem by transferring my SIM to another phone and it worked perfectly, which means it's really my iPhone that's acting up. I'm using an iPhone 4s, model A1387. modem firmware 5.0.00.
Hope someone can help me out with this...I use this phone for business transactions and it's essential that I get to have 100% full use of it.

I experience this problem too. I am using iPhone4 and just upgrade it to iOS7. And now I can not make outgoing call. I checked all the setting, and nothing wrong. I even replaced my sim card with the new one, still can not help.
