Problem: Microlife Blood Pressure Monitor and Health Vault Connection Center

I have model BP3NQ1-4W. The HV Connection Center does recognize and install drivers when the device is connected for the first time. However each time the device is connected after the initial connection the HVCC prompts me to add
a new device. I could add it as a new device every time I connected it. Each time it is added a device appears in the
Windows Device Manager under the Portable Devices object.
I can work around this problem by
Disabling the Microlife Blood Pressure Monitor device object in the
Windows Device Manager
Connect the BPM device
Ignore the HVCC Add Device wizard
Enable the BPM device in the Windows Device Manager
Is there any possibility that this behavior could be corrected in a new driver or HVCC release?

Hello Tom,
There are some models of Microlife BP Monitors that do not connect with HealthVault Connection Center.  Did you see a Microsoft HealthVault symbol on the box?  I searched for this model number on our list of devices and do not see it on the
list (https://account.healthvault.com/us/en-US/Directory) .Can you please confirm with Microlife that they provided drivers for this model?

    How do I instal a Omron blood pressure monitor on to my Mac Pro.It came with an installation softwear that is only compatable with Windows.I have contacted Omron and they inform me that it should be possible using Bootcamp.How do I do this.I am using Lion OX.

    Basically, the software Omrom uses is made by Microsoft and will only run on Microsoft Windows. There are two ways to run it on your Mac Pro, both require a copy of Microsoft Windows. Option one is to use Boot Camp, which sets aside a section of your hard drive to use for an installation of Windows. Once installed, you can then boot to Windows rather then OS X. The other option is to use something like VMWare Fusion to run Windows on top of OS X. A quick Google search has confirmed that the Omrom software has no issues running in VMWare.
    In my opinion, VMWare is a simpler option. But it does require purchasing the VMWare Fusion software as well as a copy of Windows (I think they sell a bundled version of VMWare that includes Windows).

  • Blood pressure monitoring

    good day all,
    I am currently carrying out a blood pressure monitor project. basically it uses the oscillometric method to detect the blood pressure. Currently my hardware comprises of a pressure sensor, instrumentation amp, ADC (pic16f877a) and is connected to the pc via rs232. Currently the voltage readings can be obtained using VISA serial and i can see the waveform. What i need to do now is to obtain specific peaks (amplitude of the peaks will be used to calculate the pressure). How the oscillometric method works isthat the amplitude of change of pressure in the inflattable arm cuff is monitored. As air is slowly released, there will be a sudden spike (when the pulse breaks from its obstruction). The amplitude of this spike is useful for the Systolic pressure. As the pressure is further released, there will be a further increase in the pulse amplitudes and would then start to diminish. The diastolic pressure is when the pulses start diminishing so the amplitude level would need to be measured. I would appreciate any help or guidance... or just simply for someone to show me in the right direction...

    You can easily detect the peak of an array of X values using
    the Threshold Peak Detector VI. This provides you with the index of the
    detected peak from a given set of data. The index can be fed back into an index
    array to read the actual amplitude.

    i m currently doing a project on blood pressure monitoring which i need to get two values which is the systolic and diastolic in the labview.. but i can't seems to save the two datas as when i try to save, the whole program stops. how do i go about?

  • Problems galore..DS lite, and laptop wont connect

    Ok, today i tried to connect my DS lite and it told me it couldnt find the IP and then i tried to connect my laptop and my laptop gave me limited access (no internet)
    By the way, i have my Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and my dad's computer all connected wirelessly and the main computer is hard wired to the router. I used a WEP code which when i entered i knew was correct was because i wrote it down. Anyway, if you have any ideas what may be preventing these items from connecting please let me know.

    Hi… I would suggest you to provide static IP on DS lite and try the connection again. You may need to forward the port for the same IP address. Try the same with the laptop. If it does not work then check the WEP key once again from the setup page of this router. I think that’s what may be blocking the connection.

    Hi, i'm a newbie.. i can't figure out whats the problem with my pc's internet connection. When i connect my Ipod Touch to my wifi router, my pc seem unable to connect to internet after that.. somehow the ipod modify my router's ip. My ipod can surf the net, but my pc can't.. please help.

    You should check the size of the pool of IP addresses assigned in the router for DHCP allocation. Also make sure that the PC is not set up with a static IP address in the DHCP IP pool.
    Your router may be having a problem that can be corrected by simply powering it off for 30 seconds and restarting it.
    If the problem persists look for a firmware update for your router on the manufacturer's support web page or simply replace the router.
    For more advice please give the make/model of your router.

    That would be the wireless number assigned by AT&T when the purchaser of the iPhone signed up as a customer with AT&T. If neither you nor your uncle ever activated the iPhone with AT&T, click the "non customer" button.
    Note that jailbreaking often renders it impossible to get an iPhone officially unlocked, so don't be surprised if it fails. If it does, then you may have to buy a new iPhone, this time one that is officially unlocked.

    Hello,
    I have some problems with blood pressure measuring.
    I have Blood Pressure Sensor connected to the SensorDAQ interface. I can see installed SensorDAQ in NI MAX, but i really dont know how to get data from sensor to LabView by using DAQ assistant. (there is no option for blood pressure measuring and other measurement types from data acquire doesn't work)
    Does someone have any idea or knows any way to get data do my pc?

  • Problem with Viewsonic VX2025 display and PowerPC G5

    I recently switched from an old G4 tower to a less-old G5 tower with dual 2GHz processor and a GeForce 6600LE graphics card. The monitor I was using with the G4 is a Viewsonic VX2025, and they worked flawlessly together. Not so much for the G5. The monitor, which is connected via one of the two DVI ports on the G5, works when the computer is started cold. However, after a period of inactivity or sleep, the monitor goes black and will not receive a signal. The power to the monitor remains on, but the light on the monitor is yellow. If I tap the keyboard or click the mouse I can hear the tower powering up, and my mouse will flash its light, but the monitor will remain black. At this point I will have to power down via the power button. Occasionally, however, the G5 will not power down and I'll have to disconnect the power source. At this point turning the computer back on will result in the same black monitor screen unless I wait at least 20 minutes to turn it back on. In which case, everything will work fine as long as it doesn't go to sleep.
    I've tried re-seating the power cord for the monitor, and checking the connections.
    Now, I've switched to an old VGA monitor that I dug up from the garage with a DVI adaptor. This system works fine and I've had no problems. However, the monitor quality isn't very good and I need to figure out a way to get the G5 working with my Viewsonic. Any suggestions?

    I have a Power MacG5 behaving exactly the same way with a large Westinghouse (LCM.22W) LCD Monitor. The problems began when I decided to enable the sleep function to save electricity. For years it worked fine and the sleep problems into an unwakable black screen started on and off with me doing the same to remedy it: restarting or unplugging and replugging the DVI 400 cable (Monster Digital Video)from the CPU DVI port. Now nothing works as a remedy. I have no alternate monitor to use to access the CPU. Now when I reseat the DVI cable the monitor says check connections indicating it isn't hooked up to a DVI output video source even though it is.
    I'm starting to wonder if the problem is the G5 video card in the CPU and not the cable or the monitor since I'm not the only one who has experienced the problem with a large monitor when the computer goes to sleep and the monitor shuts down.

  • HP 2335 Monitor - need adaptor to connect to Lenovo ThinkPad laptop

    I have a Lenovo ThinkPad laptop (Ultrabook) that I want to hook up to my HP 2335 external monitor.  I need an adaptor cable but do not know which is the correct adaptor.  I see on my monitor that I have a 15 pin female port.  Can I get an adaptor with a male connector to connect into the monitor and a USB connect to connect into the laptop?  Can I get an adaptor for the original cable that came with the monitor ( I think it is DVI?), that has a USB connector?
    If anyone knows how to do this please forward guidance along with technical specifics (description, brand, model number, etc)

  • Is there any way to print out information from the Health Dashboard such as Blood Pressure readings to take to doctor?

    I am having to keep track of my blood pressure for several weeks and then take them to the doctor just to make sure I'm doing okay.  Is there a way to print out the readings that I have entered into the dashboard on the Health App?  Or am I going to have to copy down all those weeks worth of readings by hand?

    Thanks for the reply. I hope in the near future they make it an option. Maybe that you can email it like you can with notes.
    I will have my phone with me but they will need a hard copy to scan in to my records or at least to enter manually in to their system. Maybe I will just start keeping track of my health info in the notes app again so I can email myself a copy to print.

  • Display Problem with my Mac Pro and LG Flatron Wide Monitor in Mountain Lion

    After upgrading to Mountain Lion, my Mac Pro has display problems with my LG Flatron display.  The image is displayed with a black bar on the right and on the bottom.  And the left side of the content is not visible.  I tried every resolution available in the Display System Preferences, they are different in terms of how big the black bars are, and what part is not visible, but none of them are correct.  I held down the option key to try to detect displays or switch to resolutions that are not normally available.  When I restart the image is lined up with the display, but if the display ever goes to sleep or gets turned off, the image reverts to being off center, and the only way I can get it back is to restart...  The interesting thing is that this monitor works fine with the same machine if I reboot using BootCamp into Windows 7.  The Monitor also works fine, connecting the same connector to a Mac Mini, although that mac mini is running 10.6 and not Mountain Lion.  I've reset the SMC and restarted countless times, I don't see any other levers to pull or things to try...

    That card is for a PC it may not give you Startup and Option-Boot screens.

    I'm using qm 8.5.2 (endpoint recording) most of customer PCs cannot play recording file in application.
    When I launch application and try to play recoding file, it is stuck and show error message "PYLR2000 error playing a file. Try again or contact your Monitoring and Recording administrator." I've install all cilent requirements (validate pc is pass). The error still occur. Even though all requirements are complete .
    So, How to fix this problem.

    I'm fix this problem by using Java(TM) version 6.0.200.2 that can be download from UCCX when first run CSD (supervisor desktop). Even other higher java version is valid but this problem still occur. If you install higher version, you should uninstall it first and install this version as well.
    If you cannot find them, I will send you via email.
