Problem navigating in my iPad mini

I am new to Apple products I have a problem when I'm on a site I don't always see away to go back a page, screen or to my initial search.

The navigation arrows on the top left allow you to move forward and back on a tab. The Address Bar and Search Bar are combined at the top of the page. You can navigate directly to a page or start a search there. Both will work.

  • Hy, I have a problem with a new iPad Mini.

Hy, I have a problem with a new iPad Mini.
When I try to use the cameras, it doesn't work.
I get to take 3-4 pictures and after that all I see is the shutter.
It happends even if just start the camera app, or the facetime app, after 4-5s.
I've reinstalled IOS 6.1 but nothing changed.
It is a new ipad. What can I do?

Ok, Orange Romania changed my iPad mini but now I have another problem.
I bought the iPad mini on 01/feb/2013, took it to service on 06/feb/2013, and got another ipad mini on 12/feb/2013.
But the new ipad mini keeps requesting the password for some user [email protected], and it does it from the first day of activation. This is suspect for me, so I checked it's serial with selfsolve.apple.com and it shows "Estimated Expiration Date: January 31, 2014" and since it has one year free service I am worried the iPad mini wasn't new.
    Please help.

  • Problems with Camera on IPAD Mini

New Ipad mini.  Not able to switch camera to back.  It only shows on the front then it freezes.  I am also having problems with the number 1.  All other numbers are working except no. 1.   I have restored to factory settings and am still having the same problem.

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Have experienced a problem, sound on/off trigger somehow works automatically without touching it. This makes the display turn on/off an consumes battery. Don't know what to do. Video attached http://youtu.be/bns-0LN8d3o

    Hey Daxon007,
Thanks for the question and the video, which was very helpful.
To isolate this issue, let’s try restarting/resetting your iPad mini:
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset

  • Problems with my new iPad Mini

My iPad Mini shuts off randomly and reboots, now it won't turn on at all, and when we bought it, it had a defective front facing camera. What do I do? Can I bring it in and get a new one? Right now the iPad turns on, but shuts off during the process of rebooting, the repeats the process again. What do I do??

  • HT4108 My problem: I bought an ipad mini and just an adaptor to convert the new input into the old one (30 pins), to keep using my old accessories: vga adaptor, hdmi adaptor, camera and micro sd adaptor.  It didn't work!

Is this so or is there any way to make it display my keynote over the projector.  QUESTION IS: I ASKED THE SAILSMAN AT THE APPLE STORE IN MUNIQUE - ROSENSTRASSE, AND HE MADE ME BUY ONLY THE CONVERTER INSTEAD OF BUYING THE WHOLE SET OF ADAPTERS AGAIN, AND I DID SO!  WHOS'S TO BLAME?????????????  I USED THE MY FORMER IPAD - AN IPAD 2 - FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS FLAWLESSLY AND NOW, WITH A NEW PIECE, NOTHING WORKS!!!!!!!!

So I picked a miniDP to DVI adapter from the Apple store...
Yeah, only the DVI-Dual Link or proper MDP cable stands a chance at that rez...

  • TS1702 No voice navigation option on maps on iPad mini

No voice navigation on my iPad mini maps app. Can I get this?

The iWatch s/w is one small app. No big deal.
I have no problems with voice navigation on iOS 8.2.
I believe that your problem may be that you have the WiFi only iPad which gets its location from nearby WiFi routers that it sees and which are in Apple's router location database. If it does not see routers it does not know where it is. This would prevent voice navigation from working.

  • Ipad Mini ( w/o retina) wifi problem

I am facing this problem since I bought Ipad Mini , the wifi shows connected  and signal is great  too but still can't access internet .
Reconnecting works but it's really frustrating.
    Plss help.

You may not really be connected to your WiFi network.
Your router may not have given your iPad a valid IP address. Go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the "i" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet.
Sometimes the fix can be as simple as restarting your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). Next, reset network settings on your iPad (Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages.
If you need more help please give more details on your network, i.e., your router make, model and version, the wifi security being used (WEP, WPA, WPA2), etc.

  • IPad mini retina heating problem

My iPad gets really hot, if I play games and adjust brightness to full.
Does anyone else have this problem?

I bought iPad mini retina today and I noticed its heating up and battery draining very fast at 20% in less than an hour.
I called cust support and the guy asked me to upgrade to iOS 7.0.6 from 7.0.4.
Looks like he just passed time. I'm going to return this failure thing tomorrow.
I'm shocked why Apple doesn't test it'd OS n products properly.

  • TS2634 ipad mini charging problem

I have bought a new ipad mini at the Singapore Airport duty free Apple Shop outlet in mid Feb 2013.  I usually charge the ipad mini once the battery is exhausted.
now i have faced the problem of charging this ipad mini as it was almost 8 hours, the battery still under charging. Pleas advice.
    hee peow

Some mini users have reported that the charging stops between 85-90%. If this happens, unplug the charger and then replug. It should resume charging to 100%.
    FYI
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.
How to Calibrate Your Mac, iPhone, or iPad Battery
    http://www.macblend.com/how-to-calibrate-your-mac-iphone-or-ipad-battery/
At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. • How do I get iTunes 11.2.2.3 to see my iPad mini?

Since the last 2 iTunes updates, my PC (Windows 8.1) can see my iPad, but iTunes can't.  I've tried the suggestions on Apple Support, which resolved the issue for my iPods, but not for the iPad.

I have a similar problem. Brand new iPad mini 2, 32 gb. First, I backed up my old ipad mini to my hard drive. Then, I updated iTunes to the newest version. Then, I plugged in the new iPad mini, went through the set up, iTunes was working fine. I registered the iPad, then it suggested i update the iOS on the iPad. This is where things went south. After a few minutes, it stated "cannot update iOS 7 at this time" or something to that effect. Since that point, iTunes will not recognize the iPad. The iPad shows the "connect to iTunes" screen. When I plug it in, I hear the tone suggesting a new device is connected, but nothing happens. I've tried it in DFU mode, no results. I've tried putting it in recovery mode, nothing happens, just the same screen. I've uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled it, following every step suggested through this site/apple support. I even uninstalled and installed an older version of iTunes (10.7) but same result. I've followed all troubleshooting steps, and nothing is working, so please don't suggest the same olf "iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows" page.
What should I do? Do I have to take this to the geniuses at the store? Will they even be able to help without having access to my computer?

  • Really low volume on headphones with iPad mini iOS 8.2

    Hello,
Problem is with an iPad mini running iOS 8.2. When I connect any headphone/earbud to my iPad mini I can't hear a thing. Actually the sound is not totally muted but really really really low, almost imperceptible. The headphones are fine -tried them on mac/pc/iPhone-.  I've tried with different headphones (at least 5 different sets), tried adjusting the volume max-low-max (I can see volume bar on screen showing headphones), plugging unplugging the headphones -also plugging them very hard-, restarting the iPad by turning it off pressing and holding lock button and then sliding to power off, rebooting it holding lock and home button together. None of these have solved the problem. iPad speakers are fine. This issue happens with every app with sound: Videos, Music, YouTube, FaceTime, etc. I recently upgraded the software to iOS version 8.2. I'm sure this worked in the past.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
    Thank you.
    Laura.

Unless you've accidentally set a volume limit within music settings, there's probably a problem with your headphone jack. You should also try a complete restore of your iPad just incase. Otherwise, since you've tried everything else, it sounds like its a hardware problem

What's weird about my network diagrams is that my ipad is recognized ethernet connected when I only have my mac connected ethernet?
For my iphone 5s against him can connect to the 5GHz network without any problems?
So I am forced to leave my ipad connect 2.4GHz !!!

    Hello Khrestianovskii,
You may need to force close all open apps, then restart the iPad.
