Problem: Nicht mit Oracle Verbunden

Hallo,
Meine VB6 Applikation setzt �ber MSDAORA eine Query ab, und bleibt dann ca. 10Minuten stehen. Am Schluss erhalte ich die Meldung: "Nicht mit Oracle verbunden". Eine TCP Packetanalyse hat ergeben, dass die Query bis an Oracle gelangt ist, aber irgendetwas mit den Results nicht so funktioniert wie es sollte.
Nun m�chte ich lokal einen Trace laufen lassen, um das Problem zu untersuchen. Geht das �berhaupt, und wenn ja, was muss man da machen?

klassisch vorgehen, erstmal "select * from dual" testen, wenn das funktioniert, dann ist die Infrastruktur ok.
Dann mit der eigentlichen Query auf den Server gehen und dort unter SqlPlus laufen lassen, mal sehen ob die Antwort in 10 Minuten erscheint, wenn nicht --> query �berdenken.

Waveburner will nicht mit meinem Audiointerface (M-Audio,Lightbrige) arbeiten. Wenn ich unter Einstellungen das Audiointerface (auf das externe) wechsele, wechselt Waveburner bei schliessen der Anwendung immer wieder auf internes Audiointerface. Bei Logic Studio ist es kein Problem, da wird die Einstellung akzeptiert und es funktioniert auch.
Kann mir da jemand weiter helfen?

wie @Sardun bereits schreibt ist GTA V das von allen drei von dir genannten Spielen mit Abstand das Anspruchvollste, so dass es sich bei deinem "Problem" eigentlich nur um eine Angelegenheit handeln kann, die durch Änderung der Einstellungen in den jeweiligen Spieln, oder durch ein Update des VGA Treibers behoben werden kann.
Die Artikelnummer (P/N) oder Machine Type / Model Name wäre ebenfalls interesssant, ob Du die aktuellsten VGA Treiber von der Lenovo Serviceseite installiert hast, und wie die Einstellungen im Energiemanagement sind.

Wenn die Meldung kommt iPod trennen und iTunes schließen. Danach zuerst iTunes öffnen und dann iPod verbinden. Das Problem hab ich mittlerweile bei JEDEM anstecken.

I have done some oracle installations over RedHat 7.0 (not certificated):
Let's check some things:
1- You must have changed very few parameters on your shm.h sem.h files which are in /usr/include/linux directory.
2- You need to upgrade the glibc and libstdc libraries (.rpm)
3- You must have installed the jre116_v5 on /usr/jre and made a symbolic link like this
ln -s /usr/jre/jre116_v5 /usr/local/jre
4- You must include in the CLASSPATH parameter the jre116_v5 directory. It should look something like this
CLASSPATH=/usr/jre/jre116_v5:$ORACLE_HOME/jlib
5- Be sure to create and export all the parameters in your .bash_profile.
6- Run the ./runInstaller.sh in a terminal window inside the Xwindow.

Problem in installing Oracle 9i R2 on Windows 2003 Server Enterprise

We are having problem installing the Oracle 9i R2 Server on Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition. During installation, it generates error saying "The IP Address of the machine not found". When clicking the "Continue" button, it tries to install other things but few minutes later it asks to stop complete installation or installation of that feature.
But when we installed it on Windows XP it works fine and we have no problem in configuring it. What's the problem with Windows 2003 Server?
If we drop the idea of installing it on Windows 2003 Server, can we make Windows XP maching as a Server?

ORACLE asumes that the first network device you have on your server has a fixed IP address.
Is this the case?
If not so you should install a loopback adapter as network device with a fixed IP.

you have two option to start your oracle service. your problem is your oracle serivce is not start.
for that you can start manully....
like
on command prompt.
cmd>net start oracleservice<sid>
or
you can set automatic for oracle service.
go services window. start >>>> run >>>> services.msc <<<enter>>>
check and select oracle services and right click and set automatic..
every time your system is reboot then oracle service is automatically is start.
