No arabic language exist in text messaging in my phone,although my phone supports arabic language!! please Help!!

we can't discuss changing product code here.....but, r u sure that the new product code is rm-507 and supports arabic ???

N97 - I cant send text messages! Help

Hey guys,
so I basically have this really weird problem. I have an unlocked Nokia N97 and got a sim card from ATT with unlimited texting. Everything was perfect, but two days ago I couldn't send text messages anymore, but I can still receive them. When I want to send a txt msg, it automatically goes into the outbox and says it will be resended later. My message center number is correct, so this is not the problem. I called ATT and they were like it is the phone problem because its not an ATT phone.
Has anybody encountered the same kind of problemm with N97? Can anybody help me please?

well from last 2 days i am also facing same prob, i am also using open n97, and using it from 4 5 months, but suddenly i cant sent msg ? msg stays in the out box and didn't send, even i am receiving the sms and my mms is also working and going on, but only cant send SMS. please help this is very annoying.. and i am using the latest update firmware.
i reset settings to factory default but it didnt solve my prob and then
i reinstall the firmware again but still same prob,
i check my sim car in different phone and its working fine.
and i put other sim car in n97 then still its not sending any SMS. means there is some prob in N97 and not in sim cards.

Nokia N97 synchronization canceled and lost messag...

Hi all, I've a problem with my Nokia N97. I was using Ovi Suite, and trying to synchronize everything from my phone to the computer. The process started fine, but it was taking too long, and after more than one hour of processing, I was forced to leave my pc, and therefore I choosed to cancel the synchronization. It stopped, and after that I closed the application, turned off the computer, and disconnected the phone (I was using the USB cable).
After that, I found that on my phone there was no message at all. Every message and email was wiped. Even email settings were deleted.
Fortunately pictures and videos are still there.
But now I cannot find my messages anywhere.
Please is there someone who could help me?
Of course, I did no backup before.... as you will ask for...

if it can't be recognized in USB mass storage mode from your pc, then Nokia care must replace it in warranty period

Nokia N97 can't send picture message to Nokia 5800...

I have a Nokia 5800 and my partner has a N97 and he can receive my picture messages but he is unable to send to my phone. We have gone through all the trouble shooting with our service providers.
I put my sim card in two other new nokia 5800's and the message didn't come through, I then put my sim card in a different brand phone and I got the picture message! The phone shop said it must be a incompatibility between to two phones, I don't understand how two new nokia's can't send a picture message, has anyone heard about this? Any fixes??

I have the same problem as you with picture messages. I have a friend in Australia who has a Nokia E71 and she cant either. This has happened ever since i have had a Nokia phone both N85 8GB and now my N97.
I havent found a answer and we had no troubles when i had a sony ericsson could send and receive pictures.

N97 Arabic language lost after updating.....

Hello Everybody.
I will make it simple this time.
I have 'middle east' version of nokia n97 with Arabic language included."I could write in Arabic"
after updating to V22 I couldn't do that any more?
Is it possible to reinstall that language back without Hard resetting my phone ?

Future firmware updates will not remove the language after that, if whomever does the flashing also changes the product code to match the new firmware language variant.

Nokia 225 Arabic Language Pack

Is it possible to add the arabic language pack to the nokia 225? My mother just bought a new nokia but she loves arabic and it is necessary that she can read it on her phone. If not, could someone suggest a simple nokia (not smartphone) with the arabic preinstalled. The product code of the phone is 059V5W8. Thanks.

With a Nokia Series 30+ (MediaTek) based phone like yours, the set of languages depend on the firmware variant. The firmware variant is identified through the Nokia Product Code which is printed on the label on the phone (059…). You have a phone designated for Germany. If you had 059V5Z3 for example, you would get the Arabic language. However, you might loose other languages this way, like German. Which languages do you need?
Officially, only a Nokia Care Center is able to change the firmware variant, officially.

N97 doesn't send text messages?

I purchased my N97 on release date, and up until now, it has been texting fine, however, as of yesterday I have been unable to send text messages and when I attempt to, they just sit in the outbox telling me to retry sending them later.
I can receive messages perfectly fine and I am on O2-UK, if that's any help?
Please could someone help? It's getting kind of annoying...

This is an airtime supplier issue. Contact O2 and confirm they have not changed your contract settings and ask them to txt you the correct settings to your phone, have answered many posts on this subject, it is inevitably down to O2,Vodafone,Orange,T-moblile etc etc. They all seem to have been messing about with settings last few weeks, I had similar prob, and took 5 calls for someone to realize they had removed the service from my contract. Be persistant with them !

N97 memory management: moving text messages

The saga of optimizing memory usage on the N97 by hand continues. Having determined that text messages (have a lot) are being stored by default in C: (as per Settings/Other/Memory in Use), how do I transfer them over to E: and still have full access to all without loss? Will just changing the setting over to E: do the trick?

But also be aware that storing ANYTHING on C memory on the N97 that you are not FORCED to will result in the N97 grinding to a halt anyway !! Always instal everythingyou possibly can on E mass memory, it's the only way to survive with the N97. Also if you can aggord £8 buy and install RamBlow, it's the best thing I found to make the N97 'Usable'

Nokia E63 Unable to send text messages, message se...

Hello,
I currently have a NE63-3 phone and is currently loving it, however, two days ago, i started getting a "sending failed' error message everytime I attempt to send text messages and when I click on the details, it would say, "not enough memory, please close other applications..." I have enough load credits to perform such activity, and i do not have any other applications running in the background, plus the phone memory is nowhere near full capacity. I have already checked the message center number and I currently have the correct settings, I have already peformed a reset but to no avail. I am able to receive text messages, able to make and receive calls, wi-fi access is okay, the only thing I cant do is send text messages...
I know there are other e63 users out there who might have experienced the same thing, if you have the resolution or any idea how can this be resolved, please, i need your recommendations and it will be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Nokia 3230 unable to send text messages.

Please help, as iam unable to send text messages. Service center no. updated, message profile changed to text.

Problem in parsing no-ascii body text message?

I have a text/plain mime message(Composed in the outlook express) that contains a long one-line japanese string as follow:

Does this mean that that there is a bug in the JavaMail in handling no-ascii chars?
After I make the following call:
setContent(this.getContent(), this.getContentType());
The change becomes permanent and recipient will see the '????' at the end of the message.
I can provide mime format of the message if necessary.
Any one see this before?

instead of the japanese string I posted.
All I did was
String text = (String)mimeMessage.getContent();
It works ok for most of japanese strings except for the one I mention above which is a single long line of japanese string.

Text Printing mismatch with Arabic Language

Hi gurus,
I have a requirement in printing the dunning form in different language based on the customer. Currently based on the language condition i m calling the text element with right alignment. But i m observing a strange problem with the arabic language that my sentance is getting mismatched. e.g. text "Enclosed please find our statement' it is printing "please find Enclosed our statement".
I am using a standard text includ for displaying the text.

Hi, you do not need to do any thing to handle the RTL text. SAP itself handles the situation. but you need to be carefull while using mixed language like english and Arabic together in same form. there are some upgrade patched required to be applied to solve the problem else your text will be printed in mismatch format.

Nokia 6630 trouble sending text messages

im having trouble with my nokia 6630 it wont send text messages it just keeps saying general:memory full. close some applications and try again.
i have done this and it still didnt work so i completely deleted everything off my phone restored it to factory settings and reformated memory card and rebooted and tried again but it still will not send and gives exact same message i can receive messages no problems and also use it to call its just sending messages i have a problem with can anybody help plz

When i first started texting my text would go through gmail to apple iphones. After I correct this problem I am not able to text message non apple phones and i wasn't able to start with

I'd suggest you contact your email provider. They may actually have a problem.

Nokia 6233 can't receive SMS/text message

My Nokia 6233 stopped receiving SMS/text messages, although I can send messages and receive/make phone calls. I let the battery run flat and then recharged again. It received some messages but stopped receiving messages again a short time later. I must say I have not been letting my battery run flat on a regular basis. Is this the cause? I bought the phone 2 years ago.
I do have 600 plus messages in my phone- is this the cause too?

I don't think it is a battery issue. The more likely culprit is your memory getting almost full. Try deleting some old unwated messages or any other files. It is probably time to do a spring clean after 2 years.
