Problem of Creating SCORM 1.2 from Flash

Dear All,
When I created e-Learning content through the flash and
published it from SCORM 1.2 standard to upload in new IBM LMS 1.04
version, it is not working properly.
How to generate the XML files needed for communicating with
LMS. If any option in flash to generate such kind of XML or should
I use thirdparty software for generating the XML? if someone have
experience in e-Learning content developing kindly help about it.

You can use the
Reload Editor to create the XML
files for both scorm 1.2 and 2004, but I think it is more likely
that your communication problem is in the javascript wrapper.
Captivate uses the same SCORM setup, so searching for
Captivate SCORM issues may help you find the particular one that is
causing problems with your LMS.

Problem with creating/viewing PDF's from InDesign CS3

I have a problem with our PDF workflow and just cannot seem to resolve it.
The problem is as follows: My coworker and I (both designers running CS3 on iMac's running 10.5.6 Leopard) work daily on producing documents and graphic layouts.
Internally we can view and print PDF documents we create just fine with no troubles with the exception of our supervisor, who is running a mac with Tiger operating system. Our office environment is both Mac and PC. On may occasions he cannot print PDF's we create. Many times his prints will contain garbled characters, drop italics and formatting, replace fonts, or just print slowly.
This problem is also happening to our editor who is offsite. This is a fairly serious problem for her, considering her job relies heavily on being able to view and open PDF files we create. She was able to send a PDF file which shows the garbled mess her printer spit out when she printed. Apparently there were pages upon pages of messy garbled text. When documents do print from her, they are usually very slow in printing, taking up to a minute or more to print each page.

My question really to the community is obviously what might be causing these problems. Its very frustrating not being able to determine if its something we're doing ourselves thats causing some incompatability or corruption in these files, or if its the users systems themselves. I can say that Debra our editor has can have a garbled mess of a 4 page file from us, and then turn around and print a graphic heavy 90 page PDF with ease from Boeing. Our PDF's seem to be the only ones she struggles with. That being said, my inclination is that its something on our end.
Any ideas of where to start looking? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated and welcomed. Thanks!

I currently had our editor test printing of some of our files using both Foxit and Adobe Reader (as was suggested) in order to see if either made a difference in her printing ability and here is what she came back with:
I tried to print out both these pdfs (David's is the one you reworked and Lisa's HESSM-3, both sent yesterday).
With Adobe: David's first page printed quickly, but it had errors (part of his pants didn't print, and there's an arbitrary shaded box in the text). Page 2 didn't print--every time I tried it had a different "offending command" code. Printing Lisa's HESSM made it up to page 7 before problems showed up (stock photo only partially printed), and it stopped on page 8 (with the random "offending command" code).
With Foxit: Both David's and the HESSM pdfs printed completely and without error...but it took a long time. David's 2 pages took about 3 to 4 minutes, and HESSM's 16 pages took close to 20 minutes. The time is in the transfer of data to the printer; the physical printing goes pretty quickly.
I cant say that I believe email is the problem, although I cant rule it out. I've tested emailing vs. passing through our workgroup with my supervisor, and it does not make any difference in his ability (or lack of ability) to print our files. He was able to print to a different printer (an HP 4650 as opposed to a 4100) without troubles. He refuses to believe its a printer problem however because PDF files originating from our office are the only ones he has trouble with. Never has he had any trouble with a single PDF file produced from any other source. This is also the case for our editor who only has trouble with PDF files originating from either mine, or my coworkers systems.
PS: I've attached both files that were referenced by our editor above for viewing/testing.

Problem importing photos to iPhoto Library from flash drive

When I try to import photos from flash drive into iPhoto library, they seem to import just fine. BUT if I close iPhoto and then return later, the photos I supposedly imported from the flash drive are not in the Library, and a screen prompt tells me the "source is not available". Photos import into Library from digital camera just fine. Why are the photos from my flash drive not staying in the Library? Kinda defeats the purpose of a Library if images won't stay in it. Please help!

Are you running a Managed or a Referenced Library?
A Managed Library, is the default setting, and iPhoto copies files into the iPhoto Library when Importing. The files are then stored in the Library package
A Referenced Library is when iPhoto is NOT copying the files into the iPhoto Library when importing because you made a change at iPhoto -> Preferences -> Advanced. (You unchecked the option to copy files into the Library on import) The files are then stored where ever you put them and not in the Library package. In this scenario you are responsible for the File Management.

Problem when create a support massage from another system

we are create the massage from the source system and it open a massage in the service desk in the solution manager
when we create a support massage it's send mail with the name of who open the massage, (For example : naors, benisa)
my problem is that in 1 source system when i open the massage the mail send in a name of user basis (i think it's meen that the massage send the mail from user in the solution manager and no the user that open the massage)
-i create a BP partner in solution manager and generate him in Tz BP_GEN
but it's still send the mail from user "basis"

Problem while creating a Sales Order from RFC

Dear All,
I get an error ( Errror ID "TD" Number "600" ) "Text XXXXXXXXXX000001 ID X106 language EN not found" whenever I try to create a Sales Order for a particular Customer and Material.
But when I create Manually using VA01 for the same details, a Sales Order is created Successfully.
The error is coming from the Standard Function Module "SD_SALES_ITEM_MAINTAIN".
Please let me know if any of you have come accross similar problem and if yes, please provide me a solution.

PROBLEM IN CREATING BOM ITEM TEXT FROM TEXT FILE

I am developing interface program for creating BOM based on data it text file. in my text file contain three column(material, qty and longtext). These text i need to upload to BOM TCODE CS01). Using SAVE_TEXT I have generated text object. it don't says any error. But while viewing text in CS03, text is not visible. Give me suggestion or give me any other method for updating item text from textfile.

Actually problem is SAVE_TEXT updates text but I cant able to view in CSO3 transaction. because while creating BOM I forget for updating language key for long text. After updating language key I can able to view text in CS03.
Now I am facing another problem. If I am executing program directly without going to debug mode, It is not updates text. Logic everything is correct. Give me some suggestions for solving this issue. I am also tried with commit work, Commit_text and wait up n seconds statement.

Problem while creating MS-ACCESS tables from Internal tables

Hi All,
I need to create Access tables from the Internal tables of an ABAP program.
I am using RIACCESS program to create Access table and FM TABLE_EXPORT_TO_MSACCESS for populating the records into Access table.
Internal table name is ITAB1. I have created Z table with the same number of fields of ITAB1.
Key fields of Ztable is MANDT and Project ID.
I have two problems.
1. When I am trying to create access table from RIACCESS, the Access table is not having the MANDT and Project ID as key fields. Is there any way to pass the Internal table with key fields to the selection parameter of RIACCESS?
2. How to avoid the MANDT field from the Access table.

Creating Windows Application Installer from Flash

Hey,
hope someone can help me out
Im trying to find out with there is a possibility to convert or make a flash .exe file into a Windows Application and have it installed on the the computer.
I mean when you click the file it starts to instal on the computer like an application, creates shortcuts and so on. im guessing it has soming to do with AIR but cant seem to get it.
Any help will be much appriciated. Thanks in advance!

Well, it would have been good if you'd stated that in the first place. That might have engendered some discussion.
Better still would be if you tried out two or three of them, formed your own opinion, then posted that here and asked if other had similar experiences, or if there were any major issues that you might have missed in your testing, etc.

Problems With Creating Group of Objects from a Collection

Hi, please kindly help.
I have a Collection. Its name is "activities". It is a collection of the Activity object with "color" as one of the attributes. I am writing a method and takes "activities" as a parameter (see below). The method is supposed to group "activities" by "color" and return a Collection called "activitiesGroups". And I have created an "activitiesGroup" (note: singular not plural) class with the getters and setters of all its attributes.
I first sorted the "activities" by color. So far so good. Thereafter, I am iterating through this sorted list. If activity.getColor().trim() is tested different, I know that a new group, i.e., activitiesGroup, should be created and I should code activitiesGroups.add( activitiesGroup );Problems are:
1. If I am at the first record of the sorted collection while iterating, I do not what to add a new group to the returned List activitiesGroups. I want to greate a new group only.
Because "colorString" is initialized as a blank, when I code activitiesGroups.add( activitiesGroup );, I depend on that I am not at the first record of the sorted collection by testing if colorString.length(); is not a zero. I do not think it is the correct way to do it.
What is the proper way of knowing I am at the first record of the sorted collection while iterating?
2. I have to sum up two of the attributes of the ActivitiesGroup object: increaseToValue and decreaseToValue. While iterating, I repeat for each record within a group:

I first sorted the "activities" by color. So far so good. Thereafter, I am iterating through this sorted list. If activity.getColor().trim() is So in fact you are not dealing with an arbitrary Collection (as you stated in the first place), you are dealing with a List.
You should know that there is a way to do this just with an iterator on an arbitrary collection - without needing to sort your list, and do it in O(n) time.

Problem: While creating PO partners differ from vendor

Hi all,
There was a problem with two users in our production system. They created several POs for several vendors, and all of them return in PO tab "Partners" different information (different vendors), than the one on Vendors Master Data. All "Partners Functions" configuration is correct. This only happens with these two users. Example:
Vendor 111 Master Data tab "Partner Functions":
- Function FO: Vendor 111 (display mode)
- Function VN: Vendor 111 (display mode)
- Function PI: Vendor 111 (change mode)
PO created for Vendor 111, tab "Partners":
- Function FO: Vendor 222 (display mode)
- Function VN: Vendor 222 (display mode)
- Function PI: Vendor 222 (change mode)
Can anybody please tell me where the problem may be and why this happens??

Go with SE16 to table EKPA and check what this table has for your PO number and partner VN.
I bet it is 222.
Maybe someone has changed the vendor of the PO, instead of the partner. and the PO was originally created with vendor 222 and was then changed to vendor 111 (before saving)

However, like always, SAP does not give you a solution how to correct the wrong data in the database

Problem with registrating serilanumber after updating from flash builder 4.5 to 4.6

Had an upgraded suite Master Collection with 4.5 and unninstallet this for then to install a clean 4.6
Serialnumber for MasterCollection don't work, and I'm stuck with a trial version. The update should be free.
I have registerd tha master Collection suite on AdobeID, but it don't take when i try to register Flash Builder 4.6
Any suggestions?

Hi MoTor,
You would need to uninstall existing Flash Builder 4.5 on your machine and then install Flash Builder 4.6 in trial mode.
During installation, it doesn't accept the serial number of Master Collection. So, just install it in trial mode and make sure that the you select the same language as that of your Master Collection, during FB installation.
Now launch FB and it would then accept Master Collection CS 5.5 serial number.

I am having a problem during creating the AR invoice from the delivery. I am getting the message: (2) Message Sales Employee is Must. I am unable to create AR invoice for this reason. But when i am going to create AR invoice for the same delivery in different numbering series it is saying that Error in Numbering file, restorer it. I am really unable to cope up this problem. Please help me to resolve it asap.

Updating Studio MX 2004 from Flash mx 2004?

Installing / upgrading from Flash 10.1 to Flash 11 in Android. How may I do that?

I got my new tablet, and I am having problems to browse facebook. I can browse it perfectly, but I cannot see the videos of the walls, it says I need a flash upgrade and that I must press over the video to jump to the adobe website, to detect my operating system and browser.

I do that, and it says I have a Mac OS X
That is not true!!! I have Android 2.2 !!!
So it is clear the automatic recognition don't work at all and I have to install the new Flash 11.
Okay... I am very confused about this, and I want to do this safely.
First doubt, where may I get the original Adobe Flash APK file with Flash 11 ?
There are a lot of websites that provide APK in a doubtful manner... and well, I'd rather prefer to enter in an official place from Adobe, and download Flash from there. But without automatic recognitions, I just want to download Flash 11 for Android.
How may I do that?
THIS TABLET DON'T HAVE ANDROID MARKET SUPPORT, so I cannot get the APK file from Market.
There are many many tablets that don't support market, and they also need flash to browse the web.
Second doubt... do I need a specific version of Flash for my browser?
How may I know what browser I have installed? I tried to verify this in my tablet and I have no idea of how to do that?

SCORM Issue, fscommand LMSGetValue call from Flash

Hi all
I'm using fscommands to communicate with the SCORM 1.2
template published from Flash. I need to use fscommand because,
even though I'm working in Flash 8, I'm working in an older file
that was created in Flash 6. And
everything breaks when I try to publish it to version 8.
So I can't use the ExternalInterface method, I have to use
fscommands.
Now my problem is that I'm able to write to the LMS using the
following:

BUT I'm not able to retrieve that string later. I try to use:

Nothing has returned anything.
I do know for certain that my main_DoFSCommand in my HTML is
called, it then calls the SCOGetValue, and that successfully calls
the LMSGetValue function. And at each call, the variables being
passed are all as expected.
So this is making me wonder if I'm actually calling it
correctly from Flash in the first place. And with anything
pertaining to SCORM and Flash, I haven't found much out there
pertaining to this, so hopefully someone here can help.

I have the same problem, and i have send request complementary upgrade (Adobe® Flash® Builder® 4.7 Complimentary Upgrade), and only received a Acrobat change licensed...
I´m working with 4.7 Beta the last mounths, and now all the days have to see "please enter your license". So one problem that you can jump with money (if you have that money..), isn´t a problem. Like a i have license from flex 3, upgrade to flex 4, and upgrade to flex 4.5, i´m going to take de upgrade from 4 standard to 4.7 standard (47,97 euros), and not waste my time and money on calls. So yes, I'll see adobe with another eyes...
