Problem of start up Hyperion Intelligence Server
I have installed Hyperion Intelligence Server 8.3.0 on windows 2000. I used SQL server as repository and tomcat (installed from the package) as web server. Problem in starting servers of a server inteliigence agent
hello,
I created two SIA's, one pointing to Mysql database and another one pointing to an oracle database.
My problem is that I am not able to run all the servers of both the SIA's together.
Server's of only one SIA gets completely run and the servers of another SIA gets failed, but If I stop the first SIA then servers of another SIA run and do not fail.
Can someone tell me why is it happening.
Thnx
Ranjan
Edited by: Ranjan.Pacholi on Nov 16, 2011 1:33 PMHi Nakul,
No I am not trying clustering.
I was just experimenting that will CMC give any sorts of problems if I create two SIA pointing to different databases.
And indeed it has given me problems.
My problem is that all the servers of both the SIA do not run together, that is,
for eg, lets take SIA1 and SIA2, created with all the default servers,
now, when I run both of them then if all the servers of SIA1 are running then all the servers of SIA2 will not run, only few of them will.
after this I created a SIA3 with only CMS in it, I added servers manually in it and then when I was done adding 8 servers in running state, from 9th server onwards none of the server started and failed. Then from those 8 running server i stopped one server and started one of the server that previously failed to start, and suprisingly it started.
So the result was that my SIA3 is only able to run 8 servers.
So my question is why is it happening...?
Thanks for replying Nakul.

System-jazn-data.xml problem and start up of Admin Server
Every time I start the weblogic admin server I get this error. Even after shutting everything down, and after restarting my computer. I have no idea why it keeps saying a user mapped section is open. Does anybody know how to fix this or why it's doing this?
Also the second error says the file was not found but it is there, right were it says it is.

I dont think so that any oter application is running
with that port.. Because i created a new server and
it takes the default port which is not in use. What if there is already a server using that port?
Try using netstat to check. -
Problem with starting devices at terminal server
Hi all,
I got a problem I can't solve at my terminal server.
In order to provide the Java ME SDK for home office use i installed it at our terminal server (Win2003Server Standard 32Bit) as administrator.
Our developers access it via RDP.
Now I got a strange effect: when I open an application in a device I get this error message:
SCHWERWIEGEND [org.openide.util.RequestProcessor]
java.lang.NullPointerException
at org.netbeans.modules.javame.platform.jme_sdk.autoinstaller.AutoInstaller$4.run(AutoInstaller.java:242)
at org.openide.util.RequestProcessor$Task.run(RequestProcessor.java:573)
[catch] at org.openide.util.RequestProcessor$Processor.run(RequestProcessor.java:1005)
No device window appears. At least not at my remote desktop. The window opened at another active remote desktop. It seems, this is the reason of the broken communication.
Now we are wondering how to install the SDK to prevent us from that effect.
Did anybody face a behavior like that and give me advice?
Thanks
Stephan Koch

Also, is there a connection with iiop here? Should you post to the misc or ejb lists instead?

weblogic.developer.interest.ejb.
If your weblogic server talkes to RemoteClient object on the other weblogic
server. You had to put those xxx_Stub.class in WEBLOGICCLASSPATH of your
weblogic server.
For remote classloading is just for weblogic server to weblogic client. It
is not happened in weblogic server to weblogic server.
Hope it helps.

Hi,
I am having problem is starting up the weblogic server. What is happening is when I install the weblogic admin server and configure a domain, the admin server is starting up fine. But whenever I install the SOA suite (11.1.1.5) and extend the existing domain/create a new domain, the admin server is failing to start up with a message "failed to create JVM".I am using a laptop with windows 7 64 bit having a primary memory of 4 GB. So I really see no reason for memory shortage. Moreover, I installed SOA suite 11.1.1.5 in my desktop(windows xp 32 bit with 2 GB primary memory) using the same installer files and it is running fine there. Is it happening because of the 64 bit OS?(I made sure I ran the .exe files for windows 64 bit while installing).Any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks,
RahulHave you installed WLS as service? Refer to Article ID: 1157875.1 for a solution of Weblogic as Service on 64 bit.
One of the solutions from there:
1. Select the Windows "Start" -> "Run" -> "regedit"
2. In the Registry Editor, navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services/beasvc <Domain_ServerName>/Parameters
3. Double Click on the "CmdLine" variable and change the "value data" from "-client" to "-server". For example change:
-client -Xms32m -Xmx200m -XX:MaxPermSize=128m etc..
to:
-server -Xms32m -Xmx200m -XX:MaxPermSize=128m etc..
or if using JRockit JDK:
-jrockit -Xms32m -Xmx200m -XX:MaxPermSize=128m etc..
4. Attempt to start the service again and it should start successfully. Check the <ServerName>-stdout.txt to make sure the server is up and running.
OR delete the exisitng service and create it again

Problem in starting the default server in Application Server 9.1
Hi,
I was new to this Java EE topics. So as a beginner i started installing Java Application Server 9.1. Upon installing it I began to Start Default Server. It started well. i STOPPED DEFAULT SERVER .Even that worked like a charm. I installed netbeans ide 6.5 and in tools i added this Application server. When i tried to deploy the sample project I'm an error like
There is a conflict on port 8080.In command prompt i entered netstat-an there i came to see TCP 127.0.0.1:8080 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING I dont know how another port is using this 8080. I'm totally confused just because, when I first installed Application Server and made the default server to run, it ran, i dont know why now its not running now.
In Server log file i could able to see the following message. I dont know what that mean.
[#|2009-01-08T00:04:54.031-0600|SEVERE|sun-appserver9.1|javax.enterprise.system.core|_ThreadID=10;_ThreadName=main;8080;|A conflict occured on port 8080 . Server is shutting down.|#]

Please help me.
Thanks in advance
Edited by: netbeans2eclipse on Jan 7, 2009 10:06 PMHi,
NoClassDefFoundError signifies that there is a classpath problem.
May be you are missing some critical jars in your classpath
for ex. weblogic.jar, jdk's rt.jar or something else.
You need to find this out.

Problems in starting up Application Server Control from SOA Suite
I have an issue starting up the Application Server Control page from the SOA Suite (10.1.3.1.0) welcome page. I can open all other control pages by entering the oc4jadmin/<password> where <password> is the password specified at the time of installing (Standard Install) the SOA suite.
Application Server Control accepts the oc4jadmin/<password>, but shows another page to "Supply Administration Credentials". The following error message is shown on the page.
+++++++++
This OC4J is configured to make JMX connections via RMIS and fall back to RMI if the RMIS port is not configured. The RMIS connection on the OC4J instance home on Application Server shara.SHARA_HP is configured but a connection could not be established. The JMX protocol is specified by the oracle.oc4j.jmx.internal.connection.protocol property in opmn.xml
You are logged in as oc4jadmin.
Enter the credentials for a cluster-wide user in the oc4j-administrators group. These credentials are needed by Application Server Control to make remote connections.
* User Name
* Password
[Store Credentials} button
++++++++
Has any one encountered this? Any clues where to look for things? Initially I had the problem with all the controls due to my computer name as it has an underscore ie., SHARA_HP. I had to use localhost to overcome this ie., http://localhost:8888/em
Any help/clue would be appreciated.
Thanks
MahaAt install time there is a question that asked if you would like to configure adminstration now. (Something like that). By default this is not checked. If you did not check it you cannot access enterprise manager.
The is probably a way to configure it, but it might be faster reinstalling.
There is a simple way to de install by going to the ORACLE_HOME/bin and run the deinstall script.

Problem of Starting the Server
I just downloaded
j2eesdk-1_4_02_2005Q2-windows.exe
to my windows machine and insatlled it.
When I started the verifying of Server by going to "Start menu, choose Programs -> Sun Microsystems -> Application Server PE-> Start Default Server", I did get the message as follows:
"Domain domain1 is ready to receive client requests. Additional services are being started in the background.....Press any key to continue"
But when I ran "http://localhost:8080", I got an error page with something like "can't find the web site".
I even tried to use "http://my real IP address here:8080", and I got the same error.
Could anyone tell me what might be the problem? Do I need to set up something somewhere else?
Thanks a lotBTW, the server.log file gives me these messages:
