Problem performing "cleansweep" t

I am one of the people having the whole "Cannot initialize audio driver..." problems with a Li've! 5. card with XP an SP2 and all that. Checking in numerous places and then finally the sticky at the top of this board I decide a cleansweep is just the thing I need to do. Well ariving at the step where I am to run CTZAPXX.EXE, it tells me I need to go to the Audio/driver folder. So I explore the CD and double click on the Audio folder to become very disappointed that there is no driver folder, only common and english. So I think maybe its just hidden somplace else so I search the CD, and it still cant find it... So what now? I am seriously about to throw this card away and make a semi-desperate but needed move away from creative products.

Usually when this problem occurs, it is do to incorrect task configuration or incorrectly matched quarter bridge completion resistor. Ensure that you have the correct Strain Configuration chosen. The default is Full Bridge I. If you only have a single strain gauge in your configuration, you will need to change your configuration. Also ensure that if your are using a quarter bridge completion resistor make sure that it is 350Ohm not 120Ohm. If the resistor if 120Ohm you will more thank likely not be able to null your bridge.

Problems performing silent install of CR XI Rel 2

We are using the instructions from the installation guide to perform a silent install by running the command

The installation runs but fails at the end of the installation when attempting to put the shortcuts in the users or All users Start Menu with the error of MainEngineThread is returning 1603 (when under user ID) or MainEngineThread is returning 1604 (when under All Users). The installation is being run with an administrator access login ID, so access to either area should not be a problem.
The installation is on both Windows 2000 and XP pc's and the win32 directory of the msi installation files have been copied locally to the machine as part of the process to eliminate network lag.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get past this?

I have a form developed using Jclient, the ide is JDeveloper beta. This form is deployed as an applet and the bc4j as an ejb on to oracle9iAS release version(9.0.2.0). (means the APIs at development time were of beta and on deployment the APIs are that of release)
When the user performs a save operation using the toolbar, the operation gets performed successfully without any errors, but the data is not reflected in the database. Only when i exit the form, does the the data gets reflected in the database. The possible reason being that the data is cached by the bc4j and when the connection is disconnected as a result of exit the cache is flushed/cleared causing it to get committed in the database.
When I test the same form on oracle9iAS(1.0.2.2) the above mentioned problem does not occur.

Problems performing an outer join

I added some criteria to the following sql statement to get the relationship.
ie ('Husband', 'Wife','Father','Mother','Step Mother','Step Father','Father in-law','Mother in-law')
The problem is that I also want to beable to display those that are not in this category. So I thought that I could do and outer join such as
and hcr.relationship_name(+) in ('Husband',

This does not work. Can anyone recommend how I can perform an outer join to get that information that does not meet the in statement?

If I understand correctly, you want to display the relationship_name only if it is one of those in the list. If it is not, then you want to display the rest of the data, but not the realtionship_name.
Two approaches spring to mind. You can use an in-line view to select only the relationship_names you are interested in, then outer join to that in-line view like:

Problem Performing 1:N multi-mapping in ccBPM

Hi,
I am trying to work out this simple scenario with the help of BPM.
     1. The BPM is receiving a Collection of Purchase Orders(say PO_Collection consisting of N PO).
     2. The Message is split by Transformation state(1:N) to N POs.(PO is Multiline)
     3. I am using a Block mode ForEach. Inside the block I am Checking Vendor Number and Material Code For validity.
My problem is that the process is not entering the Block(I find it from the Workflow Graphic). But the Status is shown as Completed.
I am not using any End Condition or Correlation for the Block.
Please suggest what the problem can be and how to sort it.

In sxmb_moni , select u r message , use outbound cannel from menu . , In toolbat button u will find some button for technical details. select that. This will give u option to see steps and container ( BPM variables) and its runtime contents.
u will here input and out put message.
select output message . in the bottom window u will get some length say 10. click right button and select messages here . If transformation works u will have multiple messages there .
I hopt i tried to explain , what I suggest if u lost use trial and error( not a better option than this ) to reach there .
hope u will able to debug the BPM.

Problem performing flat file reconciliation in 11gR2

In R1, I had configured a simple GTC flat file connector that worked well. I've now updated to R2 (well actually, I've done a clean install), recreated the same connector configuration and tested with a text file that worked in R1, but this time, it doesn't work. I've added the following lines in my oim server logs config to have a better idea of what's going on :

It looks like something is wrong with my reconciliation profile, so I've gone to the Design Console and created a default reconciliation profile for my GTCCSVTEST1_GTC Resource Object, but it did not help.

That's it. I've just learned that a Reconciliation Rule is created automatically when a field is set as "Matching Only" when configuring the connector. I had such a field in the initial configuration, but skipped this step when configuring the connector in R2.

Flash crash problem + Performance degration.

i own a MBA 2011 11"
and i noticed that the embedded flash has been showing some instability with greenscreen flickering and flashing along with the general performance degration of the computer and eventually stops working and crash.
I regularly check for virus and use CleanMyMac to erase unnecessary cash and trash as well.
Of course, I can restart the mac or try rebooting the browser, but it starts to happen more often.
it's been almost 4 months since i purchased this mac, and before i started hooking up to my Samsung Central Station 23" monitor, i couldn't notice any sense of performance degration.
I don't know if it's the hardware or software
any suggestion?

Compress Infocube Real Time problem - performance

I am having a problem with a cube and not able to compress the requests , repare indices , save data in this cube......please help!!
If I start the jobs they did not finish and if i try to run and save a planning sequence i got an error (OR A-14400 inserted partition key does not map at any partition.....the cube is not partioned.
I also tried to repare in RSRV and it get locked , never end.
This is real time infocube.

Problems performing CiscoWorks LMS 3.1

Hello,
I had previous problems running Daemon Manager, I fixed up that problem already but now the problem is that whenever i want to configure anything within any module, then it shows errors about communication with DCR server or other engines and in some cases it says i have to run the license server.
I looked over the license server log and shows an error "Unable to launch JVM".
I also revised my services and all of them appear as started.
Any suugestions???

I configured the services as you requested and after that restarted the server tried to open the LMS portal but it shows "the page cannot be dispalyed" so revised services window page and noticed that the following services are down:

CiscoWorks RME NG database engine
CiscoWorks Web Server
CWAWFEngine database engine
CWCS Cmf database engine
DFM dfmEpm database engine
DFM dfmInv database engine
DFM dfmFh database engine

only CiscoWorks Tomcat Servlet engine appears as started...
aren't services supposed to start "automatically" eventhough they're set up as manual???

Having problems performing field mappings

Hi Experts...
I am trying map werks field to another field of the same type .
However we are suppose to map the last two characters of source work field.
The source incoming data for werk can have 2 ,3 or 4 characters.
I have tried various combinations of if ....if without else ...length ...text functions
but they are not working.
can somebody tell me how to go about it using standard functions available .

Much easier with a very simple User Defined function (UDF). Just create a simple UDF with one input parameter (call it 'a' which is default) and just put in the following and save:

Performance with SSRS on Sharepoint

Environment: Sharepoint 2010, SSRS deployed in Share Point integrated mode.
Problem: Performance of page load with ssrs reports
I have a Share Point page which displays 10 SSRS report, SSRS reports only contains 1 graph each. SSRS graph are displayed on sharepoint using a custom Web part. Report url is passed to webpart and it renders the report. Sharepoint page act as an dashboard.
Data points:
Sharepoint page takes 1 sec to load without any SSRS report on it. So I guess everything is fine from SharePoint configuration perspective
With 1 report on page, load time is 6sec
With 2 reports on page, load time is 8 sec
With 3 reports on page, load time is 12 sec
With all 10 reports, load time is 22 sec
SSRS reports are very small and none of the proc used inside them takes more than 2 sec to pull data. Though reports take ,
5-6 sec when opened from report library.
I have checked all my system parameter CPU,Memory, network, all are fine.
I have tried to load custom webparts asynchronously using
AsyncRendering="True",
the page header loads in 1 sec but report loading happens sequencely(one after one) and still take 22 sec to complete page load. During 22 sec loaded reports are visible in grey and become active after complete page load.
What steps can be taken to improve page load time.

In SharePoint Server 2010, there are certain limits that are by design and cannot be exceeded, including page.
You can take a look at the documentation below about

As your test result suggests, when there are many reports display in one page, the performance would be affected significantly.
A workaround is that we can optimize the report processing to shorten the time of page loading.

Invalid block count and poor performance

Hi - Can anyone help?
Running an early 2011 13' MBP on ML. For a year - 18 months I've noticed poor performance at times, consistently slow boot (sometimes 5 minutes to usable), occasional lockups and spotlight often reindexes itself and slows the system (much more than my previous MBP), I can't see anything that triggers it. I'm also getting recurring errors in Disk Utility of 'Invalid block count', every time I'll repair the disk (booting into recovery), but after a month of use the error will reappear. About three months ago I erased and reinstalled ML, some of my data was moved over in Time Machine but I didn't restore from it. The erase and reinstall hasn't made any difference and I'm still seeing the same issues. Hard disk SMART status appears to be fine.
Can anyone recommend any troubleshooting steps? I'm not sure what else to do, still under Applecare and was thinking maybe the HD isn't working correctly?

Hard drive issues due to Time Machine backup? Can't source the problem.

Last night my computer began to run extremely slow. All apps simultaneously lagged (spinning wheel of death), but then began working again after about 0.5-1 minute. This whole-system crash repeated about every 10 minutes a total of probably 5-6 times. The last time all apps stopped functioning and (CPU usage of iTunes was 85-95% for some reason (viewed using activity monitor), I am guessing due to its use of multiple hard drives as my music is stored on an external drive) and my computer just shut off after about 3 minutes of completely stalling. Rebooted computer and was left with an EXTREMELY slow system; opening up the quick menu (forgot the name, button on the top row of keyboard) for booting applications took 2-3 minutes. I eventually started disk utility, verified disk. It said I needed to repair disk by restarting my computer while holding down [Command] R message. Made sure i had a backup (at the time of that backup my computer was experiencing the problems above, 11:21pm), so I restarted whilst holding command R. Booted into the OSX utilities, retried the disk repair, received the "Disk Utility cannot repair this drive: back up as many files as you can..." message. Erased/reformatted my internal hard drive, and ran "repair disk" again; disk utility found no problems with the disk. Restored my files to my internal hard drive using OSX utilities (using the full system restore of the 11:21pm backup), and left it running while ran some errands. When I came back to look at my computer, it had attempted startup and crashed with the "kernel error" or whatever where all the text is on the left of the screen. It said something about not being able to find "disk2", which I believe was the disk containing OSX utilities (as veiwed in disk utility while running OSX utilities). Force shutdown, reboot with command R, wiped my internal drive again. Decided to only install a fresh version of OSX in an attempt to scan for viruses (using Sophos Antivirus, running scan as I am typing this), as the slow behavior of my computer had been very strange and began almost instantaneously (seemed like a virus/malware). No threats found so far with Sophos (scanning all my external drives too to source the problem in time machine backups), but I have deduced that there is something wrong with the most current Time machine backup, as it re-established the "problem" (easily fixed once drive is erased using OSX utilities) with my hard drive once I restored it to my internal hard drive. I am wondering (if it is not a virus) if I will need to repeat this whole process with every time machine backup to find where it went wrong, or if i can somehow pinpoint the problem easier. Will all of my Time Machine backups be corrupted now? Why would the Time Machine backup affect the state of the hard drive (does in need to be repaired or not)? Very confused at these random problems. If it is a virus (I will post the results of the Sophos antivirus scan as soon as it is finished), can I remove it from the backup and then restore it with no problems? What do you suggest I do? Will it make a difference to restore the most recent backup (11:21pm) using Migration assistant now that I am running a fresh install of OSX mountain lion? How can I source and eliminate the problem?

The infamous problem of the Click Wheel getting frozen

Since I've read a lot of stuff on the internet about this very common problem, and that nobody has found a solution, I wanted to start this topic in order to solve it through different experiences in the community.
I live in Spain, but bought my iPod nano in Canada last October, and I noticed the click wheel problem since the very beginning. Sometimes it got frozen, so I used the Hold Button to “reset” it and it worked again, but I have to say that it was very annoying to get this stuff stucked from time to time.
But in December, it started to get frozen more frequently, and now it happens every time I turn the iPod on. It responds to shaking, so I shake it and start listening to it in random play, and after some minutes (may be an hour, or may be never), and after many “Hold Switch slides”, I get it back working properly again. It normally keeps working fine for a while, but suddenly it can get frozen again.
Here is a list of observations I’ve made, despite the problem seems to be very randomly (sometimes it fixes 2 min before turning on, sometimes it gets an hour, sometimes it never unfreeze):
-Some people have said that it’s a moisture problem. Well, it is happening here, where humidity is high, but I was in a very dry place for Xmas and it happened the same way. But the fact that it works when it is hot rather than when it is cold is in support of this hypothesis.
-Some people say it’s some dirt between the wheel and the contacts. I tried cleaning the borders of the wheel and it didn’t worked.
-If I charge it full, it works immediately, but for a while
-Sometimes I turn it on and immediately touch the wheel and it works, but 1 sec latter it isn’t working again. Sometimes I turn it on and it doesn´t work at all.
-Of course I tried the “5 R’s” and a full restore. Reinstallation and updates of iPod software doesn’t work either.
SO:
1- Any suggestions?
2- Is Apple going to do something with this? (the problem is here since iPod Nano 2G). I’ve read somewhere that their policy is to tell you that the iPod is so cheap that you can buy another one (but it seems that is a serial problem so that irrational answers will not work)

Some points to ponder:
It is very difficult to determine from Internet reports how common a problem really is for any product with a very high sales volume. If millions are sold, hundreds of reports still just represent a tiny fraction of them. Generally, if a problem really is inherent in its design or manufacture, a very high return rate follows & the maker is forced to correct it to stay in business.
Internet reports also suffer from the problem of not always providing enough info to determine if the issue is exactly the same in each report, or if it has the same cause. Quite often there are a number of "me too" reports that list no details or are too vague to determine much. Sometimes a follow up reveals that user error, abuse, or post-manufacturing damage is involved in some of the reports.
This is not meant to imply that real problems in design or manufacture don't exist, only that it isn't a good idea to make overly broad assumptions about commonality without sufficient information.
You have provided a lot of useful info about your own experience, enough to rule out some of the theories & to make others seem much less likely. But it is still important to consider that those theories may explain some of the reports & that the same symptom does not mean the same cause must always be involved.
With that out of the way, here is what I see as a synopsis of the symptoms you observe:
• The frozen scroll wheel problem was intermittent but occurred from day one of ownership
• It got worse over time & now occurs every time the iPod (Nano?) is powered up
• Toggling the Hold switch repeatedly seems to temporarily cure the problem

If this is accurate, it would be useful to know how many other users see any of the same things, or if they see something substantially different.
Also, note that the participants in this forum are just users & cannot know what if anything Apple will do about this issue. The terms of use prohibit our discussing Apple policy so all we can do here is try to uncover as many facts as we can about when the symptoms occur & what does & doesn't work to resolve them.
