Problem-planned order start date in the past

I use PP-PI - After MRP run, planned order was created and has exception message "06-start date in the past" its make me wonder because before this problem occur we already tested many time and never found this message(06). then i check in OPPR- field "start in past" is blank, OPPQ- field "Start in past" are not check, OPUZ-Scheduling Type is backwards and field "Start in the Past" is blank, OPU5-Scheduling Type is backwards and field "Start in the Past" is blank.
do any guru know why system not use forward scheduling when found that start date in the past? or have any config of other module which may lead to this issue?
thank in advance.

In OPU5,
Check the setting for correct MRP group which is assigned in  material master or in the SPRO node
Production >Material Requirements Planning>MRP Groups-->Define MRP Group for Each Material Type.
check and come back

  • SNP Planned Order start date in past

    Hi
After SNP run, for the past requirements it is giving avaiablilty data as today but the planned order start date is in past. Now this order fails in CIF as the production version in R/3 is valid from today.
In the strategy profile we have backward+reverse with infinite scheduling. In this case the start date should be todays date for past requrirements... am I correct?

  • Planned order start date & finish date

    Dear All ,
I am running MRP for finished material ,
But i am getting Planned order start date & finish date are coming same (todays date ). But when i am converting the order then proper scheduled dates are coming .
Why for the Planned order the scheduled dates are not coming ?
    Regards

    Hi Venky,
Pls try to understand how MRP works
After MRP planned orders are created for the requirement(in house)
In the planned order stage -basic dates are deteremined
For the determintaion of basic dates system check the in house production time/replenishment lead time maintained in the material master
For your requirement you maintain lot size dependent in house production data in the work scheduling view & check
You have to key in data in set up time, processing time ,base qty etc
    Hope it is clear

  • Planned order start date is in the past

    Hi Experts,
I am running MRP with lead time scheduling (2) at my production plant. The planned orders are generated against the requirements but the start date of the planned order is in the past. I have not mentioned anywhere in the configuration allowing the scheduling in past. I cross checked plant parameters, MRP group, settings for determining basic dates & scheduling parameters and every where start in the past check is blank.
Since the planned order basic dates are calculated based on in house production time in material master, I maintained the lot dependant times in work scheduling view (Set up & processing time with base qty). But system is not considering this in MRP run. But its considering the lot independant inhouse prod time maintained in work scheduling view in MRP.
Is there any other check to be maintained or system limitations? Your expert view on this please.
    Appreciate an early reply.
    Thanks & Regards

  • SNP Planned order START date should be displayed in DATA VIEW

    Hello Guru's
I have a very complex requirement. It is as follows
We are using heuristics and capacity leveling for our requirement. We generally see the planned orders in the SNP view but here additional requirement is that we have to see the start date of the production planned in the date view, ie the client would like to know when the actual production starts and wants to see the quantity produced on the first day in the date view.
In capacity view,we can observe the resource load which is the start date of the production planned, this load is in percentage now do i related that into quanitity and even if we do related that percentage in quantity then how do i see it the SNP data view plan.

    Hi Sriuppa,
you can use receipts view /sapapo/rrp4 transaction where you can see receipts. This transactions offers you the selection based on  product, source, target, dates, resource and you will get the list of orders.
Secondly ,if you right click in the receipts cell, select display details,it will show you order details at the bottom of the data view.
Please let me know if it helps
    Thanks

  • Maintenance Plan - Avoid maintenance dates in the past

    Hi gurus,
I have a requirement that I dont know how to solve it.
I our maintenance plan (Based on days and activity) we need to avoid dates in the past when we start the plan (IP10).
We've noticed that sometimes in days based plans, after start in IP10, some records for dates in past appears.
    Example:
If we start a plan in 01.01.2011 and cycle is at 10 days we get this:
    ABNUM    NPLDA
    1-              11.01.2011
    2-              21.01.2011
    3-              31.01.2011
We dont need records 1 and 2, because it planned date is in past.
Is there any way to avoid this records in past?? Our ideal behaviour will be as the following, with no past dates.
    ABNUM  NPLDA
    1-             31.01.2011
    Thanks in advance.

  • Re: Execution of Customer requirement when order start was in the past

When I adopted lead time scheduling I received a customer requirement with a date, but the order sart date is in the past, now if I want to meet the customer requirement scheduled particularly on the date how I can I reduce the process. Is there any possibility, if so how?

    Dear,
First in SPRO- production >MRP>planning>Scheduling and Capacity Parameters>Parameters for Determining the Basic Dates
For you plant in question the tick - *start in past allowed is unticked*
You can make the system to schedule from today by changing the customising setting -->in OPU5 for combination of plant and order type() and production scheduler()
see that start in past is blank.
One more way is like one of our fellow memmebr told, reduction strg for whcih you need to do the setting in reduction in the same transaction code.
reduction type = all the oprations are reduced
    maximum reduction level - 6
% reduction in flots = give % reduction in floats i.e. Red. of floats before and after production (%) level-1 to level 6 i.e. each blank space is one level you can give like 10, 20, 30, 50, 70, 90...
Then schedule the order and see the difference.
For production order i.e.if production order is already created, and you want to change thye setting then youhave to the setting in OPU3
Then OPJS define the reduction strtegy and give your % reduction for each item like move time, spliting and overlap

  • Start date in the past

In the process orders scheduling parameters there is a field called allow start in past when backward scheduled. Under what scenario would one allow an order to start in the past ?

In SAP "allow start in past when backward scheduled" comes when it is backward sheduled. Now you have two options.
    1) If order is already physically processed you can allow it so that this order will not consume capacity in future which is not required.
    2) if order is not physically processed you can change it to forward scheduling.
If the end user is doing all the transaction On-line this kind of problem will not generate.

  • Start with dates from the past in the planning book

I want to maintain some figures from the last 14 days in the past.
And I want the planning book to show these 14 days, when I open the planning book.
(I do not want to scroll back).
In my Data view i have to define a Time Bucket profile for the future. (system demand)
This profile I has defined with one day.
The Time Bucket profile for the past are 21 days.
When I start the planning book with the view, I see only one column with todays date.
I want to see the past 14 days, and therefore I have to scroll back.
Is it possible to start with the last 14 days?
    - By setting the Period information in the Data view tab?
    - By other settings?
    - By macro?

    Hi Per,
You need to go for a developing an ABAP report. The development calls for updating the planning start date in the data view design mode.
You can use function modules /SAPAPO/MSDP_PB_READ_DVIEW and /SAPAPO/MSDP_PB_SAVE_DVIEW_TAB.
So the logic could be as follows:
    1. First develop a FM which will determine the planning start date as per your requirements. This has to be with respect to the system date. So this Function module should in effect subtract 14 days from system date and store in a date field.
    2. Using the FM  /SAPAPO/MSDP_PB_READ_DVIEW, this date can be updated in the data view / PLanning start date field.
    3. Using FM /SAPAPO/MSDP_PB_SAVE_DVIEW_TAB, you can save and generate the data view.
After developing the program you need to schedule this in background so that the planning start date is calculated and stored automatically.
You need to take care of one thing though. In case there are any macros developed in the data view/macro book, the start dates for macro execution will be changed as well. You need to tweak those as per your requirements.
    Hope this helps.

  • Load a sales order with delivery date in the past

    Hi,
We want to load in the system a sales order with delivery date in the past, and maintain the schedule delivery date in the past. To do that, in the customizing Sales And Distribution / Basic Functions / Delivery Scheduling and Transportation Scheduling / Define Scheduling By Sales Document Type, I selected the flag Blackwards. But the problem is that the rest of the dates in the scredule line: goods issue date, loading date, material avail.date and transportation Plan Date, are in blank and you cannot enter any data because the system deletes it.
How can I have these dates informed with dates in the past?
    Thanks in advance,

You can control this using the "Message Control" in the SAP IMG.
    Supplier Relationship Management>SRM Server>Cross-Application Basic Settings>Message Control>Influence Message Control
Using this you convert Error to Warning or even swith off this message.
Please refer this thread for complete steps:

Note: you need to suppress the messages relevant to your case here.

  • Planned order creation with PDS valid on only order start date and not finish date

    Hi All,
We have requirement to allow creation of planned order manually if production version is valid on order start date and not finish date.  This is because lead time of order is longer. I refered OSS notes 385602. I could find out solution for this is implementation of OSS note 694140 to change validity mode at activity level to consider start date of first produce activity  in validity interval. Problem is even If I create order in APO by implementiong this note planned order is not transfered to ECC and it gets stuck with error production version not valid.
Is there any way in ECC to control this? Any config or customization?
    Regards,
    Santosh

    Nilesh,
I think there is a simple procedural skip happening in your business process. You are right when a planned order is created after MRP it would default assign it to the first available production version. 2options available for us,
    1. First use transaction MF50 and do the line loading and assign the quantites to the production versions/Production lines, so that the actual capacity planning is getting completed. This way you can have planned orders with both the production versions and matching to your actual line capacity.
    2. Use Quota arrangement concept, to automatically split the Planned orders during MRP for a percentage based on individual production versions.
Now when backflush is performed S225 table is updated and Planned order qty also gets reduced.
    Hope this helps....

  • Set the dependant requirement dates to be scheduled to order start date

    Dear Experts,
The components have been assigned to the relative operations in the routing.
During the lead time scheduling, is it possible to set all the required date of the components to the order start date instead of the operation start date? How to configure?
    Thanks,
    Dawson

    Hi,
In lead time scheduling, the precise production times, that is, the target start date and the target finish date, are specified for materials that are produced in-house. Capacity Requirements are also created during lead time scheduling and the date that the components must be provided is also determined.
You have maintained the following parameters for lead time scheduling in Customizing for MRP by choosing Define scheduling parameters for planned orders:
    Parameters for determining the routing
Parameters that determine if and how scheduling is carried out
Parameters that indicate if and how basic dates are to be adjusted
    Then
You have assigned a scheduling margin key in the material master record.
You can define the scheduling margin key in Customizing for MRP by choosing Define floats (scheduling margin key).
If You Assign BOM components to the first Operation then all the components are provided on the Basic start date of the production considering all the floats
    OR
In a situation where different operations are assigned with different BOM components then  we define Lead time off set(+ve on u2013ve value) to have material provision on the basic start date of production order

  • Is there a way on CONVERSION to create a sales order with a scheduled ship date in the past?

Is there a way on CONVERSION to create a sales order with a scheduled ship date in the past?
Customer wants to maintain the original scheduled ship date on converted ordered, but the scheduled dates is defaulting to sysdate for past due shipments on converted orders.

    Hi Friend,
As of now there is no functionality to display SSD,RD,PD backdated, max it can be sys date, not lower then that.
