Problem playing videos from Youtube on Nokia N8

Since a few days ago, I have some problems to reproduce videos from Youtube on my nokia N8. (The phone is updated with the latest version of Symbian OS.)
What is the symptom: Basically the images and sounds are "cut or chopped" .. the videolooks "pixelated".
This situation is similar to when the PC is necessary to have some video codec and then the videos are seen and heard wrong.
The problem occurs on the browser and in other applications like Xenozu "(in normal and high quality). I have a flat rate internet, but the problem happens also via wireless.
Other videos and systems work fine, for example RedBullTV.
Its very strange. .. I do not know what happens! : (

Despite following both Firefox and Flash directions, Firefox won't play videos from YouTube, Hulu, etc. They either never load or they load and freeze within seconds. Before I got the latest versions of Firefox and Flash, I did not have this problem. So there must be a problem in one or both of them. When the window opens at the bottom of the page, right click this line: http://s.ytimg.com/yt/swfbin/watch_as3-vfl9DouAr.swf (or some variation) , then "Disable Filter".

Try to download the application VLC.
It is a media player that should be able to play any audio or video file you may have. If your videos play flawlessly using that application, then the issue is with iTunes and Quicktime, as they are both essentially similar software types when it comes to playing media.
In that case you may need to install a plug-in file called Perian, in order for the videos to play correctly within iTunes or at least Quicktime...

I am also having this issue. Hear but not see. I am using the iTunes video app on my iPad to play a show I bought on iTunes. A little pop up box comes up on the lower left of my tv showing the show , I can hear it but not see it. Rebooted Apple TV and iPad. No help.

Having problems playing videos on Youtube while in Safari

When trying to play a video on youtube while using Safari it scrolls for 4 seconds on a black screen and then starts back at 0:00 again and repeats for another 4 seconds....
When I open the same video in Firefox it plays fine.

Sound is not turned on in Settings (except for alerts). Sound is controlled by the volume up and down buttons on the side of the iPad (in portrait mode). Make sure that sound is turned up with those buttons.
Another thing to check: if earphones are plugged in the iPad speaker is silenced.

Hi,
First, try resetting Internet Explorer as follows - be aware that this will remove Bookmarks and Saved Passwords etc.
Open windows Control Panel, open Internet Options, click the Advanced tab and then click the Reset button. Click 'Yes' or 'Ok' to any further prompts required to complete the process.
Next, follow the guide by Daniel_Potyrala on the link below to completely uninstall and then reinstall the Flash Player Plug-in.

AppleTV 3 - does not play video from YouTube

I have an Apple TV3. I tried to play some YouTube video on it, but it does not work. I looked up the video, opened it, but it can not be played - all the time there is only turing arround symbol.

Safari cannot play videos from youtube or other websites

I recently tried to go online to view a video for my class. However, when I clicked on the link, it just was a blank screen. When I tried to go to Youtube and watch videos, I got a blank black screen where the video should be. Can you help me please? Thanks.

Uninstall then reinstall the most recent version of Flash which you need for YouTube.
Uninstall Flash
Install the most recent version of Flash here.
Now repair disk permissions.
Launch Disk Utility. (Applications/Utilities) Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab. Click: Repair Disk Permissions. When it's finished from the Menu Bar, Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac. If you see a long list of "messages" in the permissions window, it's ok. That can be ignored. As long as you see, "Permissions Repair Complete" when it's finished... you're done. Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac.

I cannot play videos from youtube on firefox but it wont play

every time i try and play youtube videos on firefox the video box goes white. ive installed flash plug ins and the latest flash player but it still doesnt work

Try clearing the Cache in Firefox.
Tools-> Clear Recent History -> [v] Cache
or
Tools->Options->Advanced->Network -> Offline storage -> [Clear Now]
Youtube may have made some changes recently. Clear the Youtube cookie if above does not do it.

No Flash for iPads, iPhones, or iPods
Here's why there's is no Flash available for iDevices or other mobile devices. Adobe was unable to provide a product that was suitable to the needs of battery powered mobile devices used for Internet browsing. Existing Flash technology used too much memory, ate battery life, and was buggy. Simply put Flash did not work well on mobile devices.

Also, note that many sites that use Flash provide their own app for accessing their material. So check with your favorite sites and find out if "there's an app for that."

I am not able to play videos from YouTube, or videow posted on my blog, when I use Fire Fox. That did not happened before the 3.6.14 and allthouhg you informed us that with the 3.6.15 the problem will dissapear, it does not happen. Take into consideration that, with explorer, everything is running fine. I am a long time user o firefox and I donnot want to change. Please give me advise how to solve thiw problem. Firefox plays videos from every other site but Hamster. IE and Chrome have no problems playing videos from this site

Make sure your OS X software is up to date.
Click the Apple  top left in your screen. From the drop down menu click Software Update.
Or, open System Preferences > App Store > Check Now
If your Mac is up to date, most news websites require Flash.
Back to System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab.
Click: Check Now
