Problem printing from a Galaxy Tab S to hp Laserjet 2605 on a wired network

I have downloaded the eprint application to my new Galaxy Tab S. I registered with h_p. I pulled up a .pdf file from my documents. I sent it to the printer. All seems to be working well except for the fact that the documents are printed as solid black pages. I've tried to several times with the same result. In the print dialog box the printers name comes up with it's appropriate i_p address and all seems to be working well until the paper comes out of the printer. Can anyone help me?

Hi,
I afraid the HP Laserjet 2605 is not supported by the HP ePrint app or any other mobile printing solution for Android.
Only the models listed below are supported for printing from Android and expected to work correctly:

    Hi,
The simplest way to print wirelessly from your Galaxy tab is to download the HP eprint app from Google play and ensure that both your printer and tablet are connected to the same wifi network.
Once this is complete, you'll be able to print wirelessly from within the eprint app.

  • Printing from samsung galaxy tab 3

Hi I have a samsung galaxy tab 3 and was wondering how do I print from it as I have a HP photosmart C4680 printer, can this printer be used?

    Hi,
This topic is covered by another thread here, which indicates that the printer is not e-Print enabled so you won't be able to print to from your Galaxy Tab.
You'll find a list of e-print enabled printers here.

    Hi WetSteve,
You can setup your printer with google cloudprint. You can find a youtube video here on how to register
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMPVleNyWlQ&feature=youtu.be
Once your printer is connected to the PC\Laptop and logged into google on your S5 you should be able to print

It is possible to print from your Galaxy Note II using the HP ePrint App. Please look at this documents to answer your questions:
    HP ePrint Mobile App FAQs
If you are able to see your printer, when you open the app but not able to print then:
The HP printer is not supported by the HP ePrint mobile app.
Your mobile device is not connected to the wireless network.
Your mobile device is connected to the wrong wireless network.
    The HP printer is off.
The HP printer is not shared over the wireless network.
Also, if you are having issues printing from the app to the printer then check to see:
If the printer is turned off.
If the printer has an issue, such as a jam.
If the ePrint feature is turned off in the printer.
Your mobile device is not activated with ePrint Center.
The HP Printer is not shared over the wireless network.
The HP ePrint mobile app is not corrently installed.
The HP Printer is not connected to the wireles network.

    Welcome to the forums Etow,
I saw your post about the issue you are having with printing from Google Chrome. Have you tried disabling your pop up blocker to see if that will help? Also see this guide about Printing with Chrome.
If the above does not help, try using Firefox or Internet Explorer to print.

    Hello lenc48,
    Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that you are having a few issues when it comes to printing from your mac as well as some two sided printing issues.
I do have a some suggestions that we can try in the attempt to troubleshoot this issue.
First off, please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a power bar/strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer as an example but it is meant for HP products in general. Please click on the following link that explains the Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector.
Please remove the usb cable (if using wireless, disregard this step) from the printer and from the Mac and leave it disconnected until further notice.
Please click on the first link that will give you instructions on Uninstalling the Printer Software.
Once the software has been removed, please disable any anti virus protection that you may have on the Mac.
The next step we are going to take is downloading the HP Photosmart 6520 e-All-in-One Printer Full Feature Software and Drivers - OS X 10.9 Mavericks.
The installation will prompt you when to connect the usb cable (You will see a prompt for a wireless connection as well if that is the connection type you would like to use) so please do not connect the cable until prompted to do so.
If you are still having issues, feel free to write me back or you can contact HP Total care direct.  If you are calling within North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and for all other regions, click here: click here.
    Thanks for your time.

  • Problems printing from a Macbook Pro on a Kodak ESP7

    Hi,
I am having problem printing from my Mac to the Kodak.  I have connected the mac to the printer through the settings as it can see it.  However, when I come to print it it says the printer is not responding and to check if it is turned on and properly connected.  I have tried reloading the printer etc but still cant get it to work.  I fired up my old windows laptop and that will print fine wirelessly so it can't be my BT Hub for the internet.
Any suggestions would be appreciated as I dont want to go and have to buy another printer.
    Thanks for suggestions.

Using the OS X built-in network printing protocols
requires a CUPS driver. Check on Brother's site to
see if they now have a CUPS driver for your model,
or you can try the open source hl1250 driver from:
    http://www.linuxprinting.org/macosx/hl1250/
Unfortunately, I don't have an Intel Mac, so I don't
know if any of these power PC drivers will work for
    you.
    Please let us know.
I was told by a friend that the drivers are already built into the OS X 10.4.3, I hooked up the printer directly via USB and indeed it worked just fine. But, as I stated before, I just can't get the **** thing to work when the printer is connected to my PC and I try to print through the network.

  • Problems printing from iPhoto 6: Page setup & Preview

I am having trouble printing from iPhoto v6. For starters, the miniture preview frame in the print screen does not conform to the paper size selection or image orientation. (It is always a big square.) Only part of a 4x6 image image is seen in the frame. This makes predicting the final result impossible. To make matters harder, the print dialog does not remember what paper size was last used and many internal "Advanced" options reset the paper size to "letter". Simple choosing any printer preset resets the paper size. Switching from advanced options to the iPhoto options seems to alter other selected options as wlll.
I have the most current driver for my printer. I have no problem printing from Aperture or Photoshop. I have custom color profiles and am not entirely a novice, but I am wasting much paper and ink and spraying the inside of my printer!
The use of the native iPhoto print routines seems mutually exclusive with using Advanced options. I understood that the first iterations of iPhoto wanted us to depend on the Mac Print routines, and it was always a little touchy but I would have hoped earlier problems would have been sorted out by now. I want to print my own pictures!
Much confusion and no place to find good instructions. For example, should I be using "Full Page" or "Standard Prints" Standard settings in the print interface? There appear to be several places to select print sizes but they do not seem linked together nor is it obvious which one is determinitive. Under color options do I select Color Corrections <none> or <Colorsync> which then forces me to use driver recommended by Canon despite the fact I have a custom profile identified in Color sync utility. It just isn't working for me.
Are others notiing that iPhoto print routines are no longer working for them? I would like to see the internal print routines working intuitively before additional efforts are made to facilitate purchase from outside printing sources!

    goldn:
Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Just ran a test and I got a perfect card. Here's what I did.
1 - create the card and type Command-P.
2 - select Stylus Photo R200 under Printer
3 - click on the Advanced button
4 - in the bottom drop down menu select Paper Handling
5 - select the radio button "Use documents paper size: 7.00 in x 10.00 in
6 - now select Print Settings in the 3rd drop down menu
7 - select the type of paper you're using and the print quality you want. I used Photo and High Speed. (also used plain paper for my test)
9 - put a piece of 7 x 10 paper in the printer (yes, you'll have to trip the paper beforehand or use card stock designed for this)
    10 - click on Print
11 - when the paper exits the printer quickly put it back in the printer
That will do it. Now there is a caveat. Putting it back into the printer before drying tended to get my leading edge nipped. If you use heaver card stock I don't think that will happen but just be aware. If you wait a moment to put the page, turned over, back into the printer to let the ink dry a bit, all you'll have to do is press the middle button which will be blinking red and that will feed the other side thru when you're ready.

    Hi,
Apple's AirPrint only support specific models while using wired or wireless network connection.
Plugging a printer into a USB port of Apple base is not supported for AirPrint:
AirPrint printers connected to the USB port of the Apple AirPort Base Station or Time Capsules are not supported with AirPrint.
As well you must use AirPrint enabled printers for a such, none of your printers are AirPrint enabled:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356
There are 3rd party solutions which allow sharing a printer connected to your Mac as AirPrint, Printopia as example provide a such:
