Problem printing from iPad

My ipad2 printed fine wirelessly until recently, now it recognises printer an send but nothing prints. The same printer still works wirelessly with my MacBook pro. Any thoughts on how to get printing again from iPad?

Try resetting everything in the system and see if the issue resolves.
Reset the iPad by holding the Home and Sleep buttons till you see the Apple logo ( ignore the red swipe) , reset your router by turning off for about 10 seconds and then turning on again, and the same for the Printer.
Once everything back and running, see if the printing works again.
What type of printer is it?

Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that you are having a few issues when it comes to printing from your mac as well as some two sided printing issues.
I do have a some suggestions that we can try in the attempt to troubleshoot this issue.
First off, please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a power bar/strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer as an example but it is meant for HP products in general. Please click on the following link that explains the Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector.
Please remove the usb cable (if using wireless, disregard this step) from the printer and from the Mac and leave it disconnected until further notice.
Please click on the first link that will give you instructions on Uninstalling the Printer Software.
Once the software has been removed, please disable any anti virus protection that you may have on the Mac.
The next step we are going to take is downloading the HP Photosmart 6520 e-All-in-One Printer Full Feature Software and Drivers - OS X 10.9 Mavericks.
The installation will prompt you when to connect the usb cable (You will see a prompt for a wireless connection as well if that is the connection type you would like to use) so please do not connect the cable until prompted to do so.

Problems printing from Ipad 2

I have successfully installed Air Print on my Win 7.0 pc and am able to print from my Iphone 4 (IOS 4.3.3), however, I am not able to find the same printer from my IPad 2 (IOS 5.0.1) - error message advises "no AirPrint Printers found"? Can anybody help throw any light on this please?

In order to set the wireless connection, you should use the Software from your PC.
You will be prompted to temporary connect a USB in order to configure the printer.
If the sofware is not yet installed on your PC, follow the instructions below:

If you already completed the software installation, you may find the wireless configuration as following:

2540 printing problem, missing lines when printing from iPad

Bought a new 2540 to use with iPad, printing direct from wireless direct to printer and missing lines, tried copying and everything is working/printing ok. It just appears to be when printing from iPad. I have tried powering down printer and rebooting but still the same.
Any help appreciated.

Hey , Welcome to the HP Support Forum. I see that you're having what sounds like AirPrint quality issues with your HP Deskjet 2540 All-in-One Printer. I would like to assist. Your 2540 is AirPrint compatible, but not all app content and file formats are AirPrint friendly. I recommend installing the HP ePrint app. (I'm assuming you don't have WiFi if you're a wireless direct user. If that's the case try and visit a public space with WiFi and install the app there. Canon IR Copiers printing from iPad

So I deployed the iPrint Appliance 1.0.1.69 to solve our "Can't print from iPad" problem and now am getting stuck at the printer/copier. We're getting a PDL IMG DATA INVALID error on our Canon IR 4075.
Anyone else have this problem and conquered it? Any suggestions where to start?
I enabled LPR support, which didn't make a difference.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Works fine with our HP printers.

I have the problem that no printouts are showing at my HP premium if printed from iPad. The iPad can see the printer, box is saying that the print is getting prepared and then sent to the printer, but it never arrives. Printerque stays empty. Printing from my MacBook via Wi-Fi is working fine as well as printing from my iPhone.
iPad 2 with iOS7, iPhone5 IoS 7, HP premium photosmart C410, MacBook Pro with Mavericks, New Air Timecapsule a/c and n wireless.
Things I tried without success:
- Use printer wired (to Timecapsule) as well as wireless
- Reset Printer to Manufacturer default
- Turn off iPad, turn off Printer, Turn off Air Timecapsule

Make sure your printer has paper, and enough ink or toner installed.
Make sure your printer is connected to the same network as your Mac or iOS device.

Check to see if your printer has any error lights or indicators. Check the documentation that came with your printer to clear any errors displayed.

Won't print from iPad - message: printer out of paper

I just bought an HP Envy 7645. I set up printing on my home network through my MacBook Air (Yosemite) computer and it prints fine from the computer. But everytime I try to print from my iPad, I have failed. Air print finds the printer on the network, and sometimes it has stated it was connected and sending the document to the printer, but nothing reaches the printer and nothing gets printed. But now when the print dialog appears it states that the printer is ut of paper - but there is paper loaded in the printer and I immediately am able to print from my computer. Now when I open the printer preferences on my computer, it says the tray is out of paper, but then I can print from the computer without problem.How can I solve this? Now on the MacBook in the dialog box it claims it is out of paper, but then prints a document.I have not been able to photocopy.THanks for any help. I have spent a couple of hours setting up this printer and trying to make it work.

Hi Alameda, From what i understand is you are getting out of paper error message when printing from iPad using the AirPrint.Can you help me with the application from which you are trying to print. Is it a Photo or a document that you are trying to print. First lets do a sequential boot, Turn off your iPad, Router and Printer... wait for 30 sec and Turn it back on first Router, Printer and iPad.Open the input tray on the printer, make sure you have paper loaded correctly and the guides are adjusted appropriately.When closed you would get the change paper type message, make sure correct media is selected on both regular and photo tray.(If you just have media on regular tray, try to load something on phototray for testing)Try to Print and see if it works. If fails can you try downloading the HP ePrint from the AppStore and try printing with the same. Thanks...

I can't print from iPad 2 to my AirPrint enabled printer

Hi, I'd be grateful for some help on printing from Ipad 2. I have a compatible printer (HP - B210A) and my iPhone 4 picks it up and prints perfectly, as does my PC. However, I cannot get my iPad 2 to find the printer. As far as I can see the process for printing from iPhone 4 and iPad 2 are identical but only one works. Does anybody have any suggestions please?

Your iPad 2 might be defective. An Apple Store Genius should be able to check it for you, and will replace it on the spot if it doesn't work right.
You might try resetting the network settings on the iPad. See Settings - General - Reset - Reset Network Settings.
Although far-fetched, is it possible your iPad is connected to a different WiFi base station than you think? I've had that happen, and had to go to Settings - WiFi - (Click on the WiFi Network's blue arrow) - Forget This Network, and then select the correct network. This could easily happen if you and your neighbor both have the same WiFi name!

Here is the list of AirPrint printers, and you particular printer is not on it. So that means you will need to use the Lexmark app, and print through your computer.
There is a Lexmark guy that hangs around these forums who may chime in with a response as well.
