Problem purchasing Skype premium

I am having serious difficulties purchasing Skype premium. 
Following my participation in an academic congress in China last year, my Skype account has accidently become associated with Skype's Chinese partner Tom Online. When I now try to purchase Skype Premium from skype.com, I am redirected to Tom Online's Chinese website. 
I initially thought that I could resolve the issue by contacting Skype's customer service, but this appears not to be the case. The advice that I have been given is that I should contact Tom Online in order to address the issue, or register an new Skype account. The replies that I have receieved from Skype's customer service are generally rather incoherent, each time written by a different person and often a cut & paste of pre-written text that is only tangentially relevant to the problem. 
Might there any way for me, as a European business customer, to purchase Skype Premium without having to interact with Skype's Chinese partner or registering a new Skype account? If so, I would be most grateful.

I would first recommend checking your call history here:

If call history shows that destination was recognized as Israel landline number then customer service will need to investigate why subscription didn't cover it.

  • Purchased Skype Premium but didn't receive the US/...

    Purchased Skype Premium to get unlimited US/Canada subscription.  Skype Premium is delivered and shows in my purchase history but the unlimited US/Canada subscription does not appear.  How can I resolve this?   My account is not located in the US or Canada, is this the problem?  Although I was logged in and when I selected Skype Premium it showed this subscription as a feature (which is why I bought it!).  Thanks for any help!

  • Can't purchase Skype Premium, something went wrong...

    I'm already a old style 'Skype Premium' user, with the old 'Skype Premium' features and unlimited calls to the US and Canada.
    Other than that, I have a one month new 'Skype Premium' subscription that is still active.
    Now I have credits in the accoun and I want to buy a 12 months new 'Skype Premium' for umlimted calls to over 50 countries, but it always gives me something went wrong error?
    And where is the online chat support for 'Skype Premium' users? I just can't find it on the skype website at all.

    So to answer my questions,

    Bravo Skype, I can see why Skype can't make any progress and sold to MS and there's Viber coming in.

  • Skype premium active but unable to call

    Hey Skype - 
    I'd love it if you all had a number or email address to contact for customer support. Digging through multiple levels of links to find a place to post a question is frustrating.
    I purchased skype premium and it reads as active on my account, yet when I try to make calls to a phone number, it says that I have insufficient credit to make the call, which from my understanding shouldn't happen.
    Any suggestions?

    Add enough credit to the "child" account so the user can purchase a Premium subscription; or
    If Video is the only feature you need, here is a screen shot of where to find and to add that feature:
    Please note, if the Skype Manager account is in the United States and has accepted US.. Terms of Service, then the members are not permitted to purchase any products themselves. They can only request available products from the administrator, and Skype Premium is not currently available.

  • Skype Pro vs. Skype Premium

    I am currently on a grandfathered Skype Pro subscription, for which I pay USD 3.00 a month. I would like to try group video calling but understand that I need to switch to Skype Premium for that (which currently goes for USD 4.49 a month). 
    What are the main differences (besides group video chat and different monthly price) between these two subscriptions? What will I be loosing and gaining when switching from Pro to Premium?
    What I need most is my Skype-To-Go number, so I wouldn't want to give that up with Premium, but I cannot find any information about whether that is still supported in Premium or not.

    Skype Premium itself doesn't offer calling to any landlines or mobiles. Skype Premium enables you to make group video calls: https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA10868/What-is-Skype-Premium
    But I think you are comparing Skype Pro with Skype Premium 3 or 12 months subscription that comes with Unlimited US & Canada: http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/prices/premium
    If you just need group video calling then you can purchase Skype Premium monthly or day pass and make group video calls.
    In case you are thinking of replacing Skype Pro with Unlimited US & Canada that comes with Skype Premium bundle then I'd recommend checking Skype Pro benefits: http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/skypepro/

    Keep in mind that Skype Pro is not offered anymore, if you cancel it then you won't be able to get it back.
    Skype Pro is very similar to Unlimited US & Canada as they both cover US&Canada and have similar price, the main difference is that in order to call US & Canada with Skype Pro you need to be actually in one of these countries, but with Unlimited US & Canada subscription you don't. Then again with Skype Pro if for example you go to Germany then calling landlines in Germany is covered, but with Unlimited US & Canada only calls to 2 countries(US and Canada) are covered.
    When it comes to Skype To Go, then this is not linked to subscriptions. Setting up Skype To Go is free of charge, but you need to have either a subscription or Skype Credit to pay for calls. It doesn't matter if you have Skype Pro or Unlimited US & Canada as long as you call country that is covered by your subscription.

    I recently purchased Skype Premium and I go on Skype calls every single day with 3-6 people. We tend to fall asleep on Skype late at night, and we repeatedly will get displeased with what happens over the night. Our video will turn off, and then I will get a message letting me know that I have used the "4 hour limit". When we turn our video back on, I later get a message saying that I have used the "10 hour limit". Right now, our video will not go back on at all because apparently we have used our "100 hour limit for the month". I am very displeased due to this issue. I purchased Skype Premium so that my friends and I were able to group call 24/7. I thought Skype Premium came with unlimited minutes so I am very, very confused. When I try to purchase it again, it tells me I have already purchased it, so what do I do? Please help.

    It's because of the Fair Usage Policy of Skype but I don't know that it's just 100 hours per month. : /

    I signed on to Skype Premium and my sister lives in Israel.  It was my understanding that I get one country to add to the Skype Premium Account as part of this package, which was one of the reasons I signed on.  Today is her birthday and I want to give her a call.  Please advise how I can set this up.

    We are having problems with Skype Premium so I'd approach with caution. We have made one 11 minute call and now it is saying we are out of credit and must buy phone credits or subscribe to another plan to be able to call land lines. Customer support is extremely difficult to find - there is supposed to be a live chat but we keep getting bumped back out to the sign in page when we try to use it. I'd use caution with Premium. If you just want to make calls just buy $10 worth of credit (2 cents a minute anywhere in north america) and when you need more just top up.

    Every time I try and purchase the Skype Premium 3-month subscription, it redirects me and says page not found. It's also not working for a friend of mine who lives across the country, so I'm pretty sure it's a problem with skype itself.

    Our University would like to pay for a Skype Premium account using a Purchase Order system - i.e. we send out a Purchase Order to Skype, Skype sends an invoice, and we then send payment to Skype.

    I guess you are talking about due date for a billing document.
    There's an FM Determine_Due_date for that. before that you'll have to use FM FI_DOCUMENT_READ with I_AWTYP as VBRK and I_AWREF as Billing Document Number. You will get T_BSEG entry.
