Problem re-installing Itunes on windows 8

Since the last update that failed I have not been able to use Itunes, search for solutions. most said to delete everything apple then re install, but that too fails Now that I need to use it everyday for my iphone it is a real problem

now it tells me that I am missing
MediaAccessibiltiy.dll
Borrowing some instructions from turingtest2:
There should be one copy of MediaAccessibility.dll in the folder:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support (32-bit systems) or
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support (64-bit systems)
If you can locate the file, right-click on it and select Properties, then on the Details tab it should have File Version - 48.1.0.11. If it has a different version number then it is out of date and is likely to be cause of the problem.
Please search your Programs Files and/or Programs Files (x86) folders for all copies of the file MediaAccessibility.dll - Any other copies of the file in different locations are likely to be out of date, but might be called in error by an executable file in the same folder, thereby causing the error.
Should you find more than one copy of MediaAccessibility.dll could you please let me know in which other locations it was found. This will let us more effectively help others with the same issue by suggesting where they should look. If you have the correct version, in the correct place, then deleting any others should fix your problem.

The section Install missing components has advice on breaking down the iTunes installer into the individual .msi files which might prove useful if AAS won't install normally.

    Repair your Apple Sofyware update.
Go to START/ALL PROGRAMS/Apple Software Update. If it offers you a newer version of Apple Software Update, do it but Deselect any other software offered at the same time. Once done, try another iTunes install

I got problem on installing iTunes. When I clicked iTunes out, two windows popped out. One said the procedure entry point CFAttributed String Create Mutable could not be located in the dynamic link library Core Foundation.dll. and one just said *Itunes was not installed correctly.  Please re install I Tunes Error 7 (windows error 127) . The error shares a similar pattern to that in the third box, so a similar approach should work. Look for CoreFoundation.dll in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support, delete it, then repair Apple Application Support.

  • I am having problems with installing Itunes 10.5 .With the windows installer

I am having problems with installing Itunes 10.5.It's the first time i dowload it,but every time het gives me an error message that a programm that was needed for installing didn't run.
    What can i do???

When I attempt the download for Itunes 10.6, I get an immediate response of ""Files shared by these updates" has an invalid signature. The download has been removed."
That's suggesting that the AppleApplicationSupport.msi is getting damaged during the download via Apple Software Update for Windows.
Are you able to get the 10.6  update to go through if you use an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer file from the Apple Website?

  • Problem with installing iTunes

So these are my problems with installing iTunes.
    At first it was :
A required iTunes component is not installed. Please repair or reinstall iTunes (-45019)
Then it got worse as it would not even open and these would appear:
The program can't start because AVFoundationCF.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
    and this would appear:
iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes.
    Error 7 (Windows error 126)
I reinstalled maybe about 5 times or more...
If I thought I solved the above problem, this would appear:
iTunesHelper.exe is not installed on my computer.
I seen other people comment that you should unistall and restart the computer and install the setup again, but it does not work..
And others would say to repair the AAS or iTunes etc..
And after trying all these it does not work???
    What else works?

I also tried repairing the Microsoft NET.

  • I cannot install itunes on windows 7

I have been trying for some time now to install itunes on windows 7 so that I can put music on my ipod touch.  I am told by the Apple shop that I must have itunes to put music on although when I first bought my Ipod touch (it is quite old) I was able to transfer from CDs very easily.  Now that I have Windows 7, this seems to have changed.  I do not particularly want Itunes but it seems I can get nowhere without it.
When I download Itunes I receive a messate "There is a problem with this Windows Installer Package.  A program required for this install to complete could not be run.  Contact your Support personnel or package vendor."  I have looked at different messages and it seems quite a common problem although the Apple shop said they had never heard of it.  However, none of the solutions suggested work for me.  In fact one suggestion was to remove from the Control Panel all reference to Apple which I did but was unable to remove Apple Update when the same error message appeared.
Any suggestion would be gratefully received as the Ipod is becoming useless without some more music and I have an audiobook I wish to transfer from Windows Media also.

You might have better luck if you posted in the iTunes form since you have an iTunes problem, not an iPod problem.
