Problem recieving calls

Please all,
My iphone is working fine in every thing exept any one tries to give me a call his phone disconnects, I tried another SIM card and i faced the same problem.
I tried with the show my caller ID feature ON & OFF but nothing is happning the same problem every time.
Please if any one knows how fix this issue I'll be thankfull.
My iphone version is 1.1.1

Is there a particular reason you have remained with 1.1.1 which is now two versions behind?
Since you are in Yemen, does this mean you purchased an unlocked iPhone that was hacked to unlock it or you used a hack that you acquired yourself to unlock your iPhone?
If so, you are on your own with this one.

I have been having a problem recieving calls from lots of users and when i try to call them it does not connect. This has been a problem on and off now and I am getting very frustrated. I just activated my iPhone and am having problems recieving calls. I call out but when someone calls me of goes straight to voicemail. How do I fix this?

Once activated,it can take up to 24 hrs for the iPhone to be able to receive calls.
However it rarely takes that long.

Problems with ISO 6 , and not being able to make recieve calls,

I dont know if anyone else has this problem, I have a IPHONE 4 , and since upgrading i cant make or recieve calls, I have checked with my carrier and they have veryfied that the problem is with my Iphone,
Any tips on sorting this out, I tried to restore to ISO 5 but keep getting up a error message. I called Apple support and guy on phone reckons he didnt know about any ISO 6 problems!

that's weird.. maybe something wrong with your updates, have you tried to donwload the updates again?? how about the sms??

Blackberry wont send/recieve calls and texts. Net apps and BBM working fine. Not battery, signal or credit problem.

My phone wont recieve texts or send SMS or phone calls. Have tried on many peoples phones, on different networks.
Have had this phone a couple of weeks. It was working fine until yesterday, now suddently when I attemp to call it says 'failed' and when i send tects they do not send. It wont recieve calls and tects from people who have tried in the same room.
I have this sim card years and have never had a problem before.
Untill yesterday I could call, text and recieve both just fine.
My BBM, app world and internet are working.
It is not a battery problem, it is charged.
It is not a credit problem, i have both free and actual credit.
it is not signal problem, the phone shows high signal, and other people on same network are working fine.
I have looked up simular problems, and attempted the solutions. Taking the battery out and resarting the phone does not change it, regestering the phone and sending service books did not fix the problem.
I have Blackberry Curve 8520, on Tesco pay as you go.
Any solutions? Please include instructions - i do not know how to find out what OS i am running, so if this is part of the solution please advise.

Phone, SMS and MMS are all services supported by your wireless provider. Considering all of these features are not working, I would recommend contacting them to find out if there is a problem with your account or their services. BlackBerry features, such as BBM, BlackBerry App World, etc all use the BlackBerry network and thats why they are still working.

Are you checking "Mute" function? It's hide in bottom of screen.
You can use four fingers slide up from bottom then slide to right side to see mute on/off.

Problem getting calls and time stamp of calls

I'm just about to toss my iphone out the window!
I am having the same problems as others recieving calls when in sleep mode.
I can sometimes get them, but mostly 'miss' them.
THEN...to make matters worse, any time stamp on the calls I've 'missed' is the time I unlock my phone to view them, not when they actually come in.
Tonight I received 3 voice mails. 2 from this morning, one from yesterday.
I don't get it....anyone have any suggestions?

Okay...thanks. I think the resetting took care of the time stamp problem.
As for the non-ringing, I may have solved that too.
I had wi-fi turned off. I did't think I needed to have it on as I was fine with AT&T. But with only At&T I was constantly seeing that little Edge symbol.
Once I turned on the wi-fi, the E went away and so far all of my test calls went through.
Well, only time will tell.
Other than that, i love my phone!

HT4528 My phone will not connect to a carrier (Verizon). It just says searching instead of showing bars. Cannot make or recieve calls or texts.

I have reset the network settings and the phone itself. I have called the *228 and it said it reprogramed my phone. walked away from my phone and it found service again for like 2 minutes and then went back to searching. This is pathetic, I basically have a touch now. I have hear several people have had this problem and it seems even after the phone is replaced they still have the problem. I can't belive you can spend this much on a phone to have it not work. Any resolve to this problem coming?

I have first a question. When it states to activate a phone press 1, did you do it? If not try it.
The second thing I would recommend is to simply change the phone number either online through my Verizon web portal or call customer service and have them change your number.
Then wait about 20 minutes and see if the problem has gone away.
Since the micro Sim is only good for overseas unlocked use; I believe a *228 send and select option 1 will set up your device on the Verizon network. You may just try doing that without changing your phone . Hey give it a try what can it hurt?

I can`t make calls or recieve calls, but i have full roaming signal on my phone. I went to my operator support station and they said that it was the phones problem. Somebody can help me?

Please, run the DirectX diagnostics tool (32-bit option).
Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type dxdiag.exe and press the OK button. This will start the DirectX diagnostics program. Run this diagnostics and save the results to a file. Please, attach this file to your post.
Be aware that you will have to zip this file before attaching it here.

same problem, all messages coverted to texts, people are not receiving some texts of mine or vice versa... in fandango, tried to set up notifications to my phone number, says i have to enter a valid number... Apple needs to fix ASAP!

C7 low voice level when recieving calls

Hello! I have the exact same problem, low volume on voice calls... I have also upgraded my phone to version 14.2, but I had not realized that the low volume started happening after the upgrade. Now, you said we should try to reinstall this same firmware, version 14.2, but how do we do that? Do we have to use some special software for that, or is it possible directly on the phone? Fully unlocked but ca't dial and recieve calls - apple help!

Hello, Please help me to resolve these problems.
Can't dial - as soon as i enter into phone keypad and click any number the phone dial menu jumps back to Main Iphone menu. So I can't dial! it happens as soon as I click any number. The only way to dial is to add someone into contact and dial through Contacts. That's so far the only way to call someone.
Can't recieve calls - If someone calls me then iphone does not respond at all.
I can only see on the screen (small ring with trasparent sticks loading) I know that the iphone should ring, but instead it goes into freezing mode meanwhile someone calls. Also, buttons don't work at this time.
One more this, I have went to menu to play some ringtones and I could not hear any of them. The only way I was be able to hear them all is when I have connected the headphones.
Bought fully unlocked iphone in Germany.
SIM card works fine and iphone is activated.
Iphone 1.1.2.
I have tried to restore the iphone through itunes but it doesn't solve the problem. Tried several times!

Thats your problem. Currently, the country code for Estonia is not hardcoded in a specific file - like I mentioned in my previous post. Because of this the phone application as well as the SMS application will not function properly.
There is currently no fix for this that is santioned by Apple. You can call Apple Care and report the problem to be sure they are aware of it but many before you have already done so.
Right now you have two choices - You can:
1) Wait for Apple to release a fix and have your phone with limited functionality. There is no way of knowing if/when this might happen.
2) Search Google for an unauthorized solution. Doing so will void your licence agreement and prevent you from easily updating your phone in the future as well as void any service or tech support from Apple for future issues.
The choice is up to you.

Constantly my iphone 4 (5.0.1) has no service and the blue bubble pops up saying needs to be restored cannot make or recieve calls and a restore wont fix it.Can i replace my iphone? its a year and a half old .I bought it from vodafone.
Can i go about fixing it myself? i dont really know whats causing the problem.
One more thing,sometimes wi-fi and bluetooth is greyed out when i turn the phone on,then sometimes there ok.What could cause this?
Plus i cant see my baseband version when the above happens.
I live in ireland so no genuis bars around here.

Have you restored your phone as a new device? Restore your phone as NEW without adding ANY apps, music, or anything else. Now try your phone. If it works, then you probably had corrupt software on it. Go ahead and put your apps and media back on.
If after you restore as NEW and BEFORE you add anything onto your phone it's still acting up, then you have a hardware issue. You'll have to pay the out of warranty exchange fee to have your phone replaced.

Problems recieving and Phoning out

My I phone screen is cracked but it works perfectly fine no delay, nothing. I am having problems, it will say I have full or partial service and/or wifi, but the phone will not dial out sometimes or I will not be able to recieve calls or texts. The only way I can get it to work sometimes is if I turn "airplane mode" on for a few seconds and let the service reset. Could this possibly be my antenna or another problem. I am having the screen replaced and will replace the antenna if that is the problem. Apple claims the antenna is exposed at the top of the screen but everything I look up shows the antenna at the bottom of the screen so they are not help, I think they just want me to spend a lot of money for a brand new phone. So if anyone knows anything or has this similar problem and has advice it would be greatly appreciated.....

You may have a partial connection instead of a complete break which is why it works some of the time.
If it were me, I'd probably go with an out of warranty replacement since it comes with a 90 day warranty against defects.
