Problem redeeming gifts sent via e-mail

my sister sent me a gift via e-mail (a movie), and when I try to redeem it at the itunes store it says that it has allready been redeemed, but it is nowhere to be found in my library. Does any one have a solution?

I'd call your sister and see if she downloaded the movie.
Perhaps she did not quite unserdtand how gifting works.

Safari web page sent via apple mail to entourage - block submission

You're suffering from two common misconceptions.

I sent a pic via e-mail and my printer keeps telling me to add photo paper?? I just want it to print out on regular paper... 8 1/2 x 11. Are there settings to make this happen automatically?

ePrint settings can be changed by logging into ePrintCenter, and selecting print options on the left side of the ePrint panel. Here you will find settings for color options and paper size. Print options only apply to documents not photos. Photo files will always be printed in 4x6”.

Can the individual form response be sent via e-mail to us in the PDF form format (not the raw output we see currently when using e-mail notifcation) each time a user submits a reponse?

Hi, we basically have an on-line job application that we need to be sent to us via e-mail notification every time a user submits a response, not with the raw data output from the form fields like the current e-mail notification setting allows, but as an actual PDF attachment that mirrors the format of the on-line form, with the user response data in it. We need this to be automated and sent to a central HR e-mail to distro to others. It would be essentially the same thing as a user downloading a PDF form, filling it out, then e-mailing it back to us, but using the submit options via the Form Central server instead. Is this even possible and, if so, is there any documentation on it? I have not found anything clear in searching for this same topic.

No this is not possible within Formscentral. You could export a PDF without a submit button (an option when saving your form as PDF) and then in Acrobat add a submit button to your form and have it automatically sent to the email of your choice. This kind of workflow falls outside the scope of Formscentral.

Attachments in Apple Mail not received by addressee. Same attachment sent via Google mail received ok. Why?

I sometime need to send attachments such as pegs to a Uscg.mil address. The attachments do not show up to the addressee, and it is probably due to a security firewall on the military side. However, the same attachment goes through fine if sent using web mail (Gmail). There must be some difference in the way Apple embeds an attachment that causes it to be rejected by the military security firewall. Any thoughts on this?

The problem is I have a lot of columns so I have over 255 chars , I think 500 Chars.
When I send the email, I got it but it is truncate in the 255 position, all the rest doesn't appear
Somebody knows about a solution for this problem?

Cloud programs do not use serial numbers... you log in to your paid Cloud account to download & install & activate... you MAY need to log out of the Cloud and restart your computer and log back

I just tried sending a .java file with a class I wrote using JavaMail 1.2 and Outlook didn't have a problem with me opening the file.

docx files are Word documents; you need to open them in Microsoft Word, not Adobe Reader or Acrobat.
If they automatically open in Reader/Acrobat, then your file association for .doc/.docx is corrupted, and you need to repair it. See http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/change-the-program-that-opens-a-type-of-file

WRV200 failed to sent syslog via e-mail

I've just purchased a WRV200 and upgraded it to latest released firmware.
In the Administration page, I could set the log to be sent via e-mail and/or log to log server. I could successfully set it to log to my log server. However, for the e-mail option, I can't get the e-mail from the dedicated account and there is no log indicating if the e-mail can be sent out successfully.
I wonder if WRV200 has its smtp server or using my smtp server. It's because I can't find anywhere that let me input my smtp server parameters.

I attached the videos to the e-mails from iphoto.
You didn't. My guess is that what the emails contain are the previews of the first frame. You can't attach a video diretly to an email from iPhoto.
As to emailing video:
Simply, sharing video via email is not advisable.
Many email services have an attachment limit of 20mb and some a limit of 10mb. As emails are sent through an array of relays, the effective limit is the smallest file size allowed on any of the relays. That means that video is rarely suitable for emailing.
Then there's the whole issue of Codecs and not all machines will have the codecs to play all videos. Plus, folks with slower connections can find it very inconvenient to download large video files.
Finally, sharing video from iPhoto via email is not supported. All that gets you is the Movie thumbnail. If you feel you must share via email then you'll need to export the video first, and attach that. Use the File -> Export command and set the kind to Original.

Other than that your options include:
Upload it to a sharing site like YouTube or Vimeo and email a link - these will allow the recipient to view the material online. That will avoid the codec issues mentions, and the person can still download the video file if they wish.
Upload it to sharing services like Dropbox or YouSendIt and email a link. This will require that they download the material to their machines to view.
