Problem reinstalling J2EE 1.4 on Windows XP

Hi everyone,
I installed once the j2ee 1.4 package without any problems, but I had to uninstall it.
Now during the last 3 days I've been trying to reinstall it, but everytime I try I got the same error during the installation process:
ERROR - default domain creation returned following exception: abnormal subprocess termination: Detailed Message:> was unexpected at this time.

Can someone help me with this?
P.S.:
Everytime I have unistalled it, I have deleted the folder (C:\Sun) delete the "productregistry" and nothing seems to work.. Please help me!

Check your PATH environment variable - it is likely that > character referenced in the error message is coming from there. So, clean up that entry from the PATH and rerun the installation.

Tried reinstall, repair as have done this before this did not work, so I uninstalled iTunes then downloaded latest version only to have this not work either.

What is going on with this.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

With your phone plugged in, open Image Capture and see if the iPhone shows up. If not, you are having a sync problem. If it shows up in Image Capture, but not iTunes, I'd delete iTunes and reinstall it.

Can I use the same serial number for master suite when reinstalling after clean install of windows 8

I am reinstalling windows because windows got corupted. I can not access my computer to deactivate the software. Do I need to be worried about not having deactivated it? I will be reinstalling mastersuite 6 after I get windows 8.1 clean installed on the same computer. I just want to make sure I will not have any problems reinstalling and setting up the adobe mastersuite after I have installed windows 8.1. I don't want to have a problem with the serial number still being registered to my old installation of windows that will have been on the same pc.

Your previous activation will still be in the loop, so you should contact Adobe support and ask them to reset your activations. That way you can be sure you have the two your license allows for. You can always skip this if you only activated once before but it will leave you with no extra activation should you find a use for a second installation.

The problem with J2EE is the support status of the used JDK. Sun does not support 1.4.2 under Vista/Windows 2008, technically it works.

Problems with Nvidia 320.49 and Windows 8.1

I am having problems with my HP Envy with windows 8.1... Nvidia driver keeps crashing.
Took the unit to Best Buy and we determined it was with the 320.49 driver - we are
able to reinstall it, and it will usually last for a few hours before it fails again. When
it fails, the resolution reverts to 1024 x XX... not the 1920 x 1260 when it works
right... very frustrating, but I need to know if the card needs replacement, or if there
is a fix from Nvidia... Contacted Nvidia and did not get anywhere with them.... can anyone
help??

If it is an HP OEM video card, this is the reason that it is not working with the retail nVidia driver. HP has their motherboards and video cards made to their specs. Only the drivers developed by them will work with their cards.

Problem starting Repository Browser Service on Windows Server 2008

Using the default Warehouse Builder installation in the 11g (11.1.0.7.0) databaseinstallation on a clean Windows Server 2008 64-bit installation.
Warehouse Builder installed and populated ok, OWB client works fine etc.
When trying to start the Repository Browser listener by running the startOwbbInst.bat, the OC4J container crashes with the following error in the \owb\j2ee\log\oc4j\log.xml:

We're starting this as an administrator user in Win2008.
All parameteres in the setowbenv.bat seems to be correct as far as I can tell. There is a strange reference to %ORACLE_HOME% in the above log, of which I've no idea where it is coming from....
Identical installation worked fine on a 64-bit Windows Server 2003, - so can this be something related to a new security model in Windows Server 2008?
(I found a posting regarding problems with the startOwbbInst.bat on Vista [here |http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=2275781&#2275781] - so maybe.... however, the quickfix mentioned there did'nt help us here...)
Anyone experienced similar problems (and preferably solved them) on Windows Server 2008 and/or Vista?

Solved this after some trawling through xml configuration files on the server.
The file C:\Oracle\product\11.1.0\db_1\owb\j2ee\config\http-web-site.xml contains the reference to keystore.jks:
          <ssl-config keystore="*%ORACLE_HOME%*/owb/j2ee/config/keystore.jks" keystore-password="->keystoreadmin"/>
changing this to:
          <ssl-config keystore="C:\Oracle\product\11.1.0\db_1/owb/j2ee/config/keystore.jks" keystore-password="->keystoreadmin"/>
and the OC4J container starts successfully.

Problems installation Photoshop Elements 8 on Windows 7

I tried to install Photoshop elements 8 on my Windows 7 computer, but the installation gives a failure after a certain time. A file "...cab" is not working and may be corrupt ( exact failure code I can give, if necesary). Is there any possibility to get this file or the program Photoshop Elements 8 as download file so that I can complete the installation? Thank you in advance for your answers.

I just got the same problem already some time ago when I tried to install this programm in my computer. At that time (March 2012) the program crashed my computer, I had to reinstall all the Software completely including system software. The program I purchased in December 2011 from Amazon together with a Reflecta crystal Scan slide scanner as bundle, so I thought it will work.
I will try to install the program from the download link you gave me, in case it does not work, what can I do next without having to buy a newer version?

ITunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (windows error 126)

I installed iTunes 10.4 and used to purchase music and copy tracks off of CDs. I then closed it and when I opened it again, I got the error message above. I reinstalled iTunes as per the advice on the apple support site, and it worked fine, but after I closed and tried to re-open it, i got the same message. Could anybody suggest a way to fix this issue?

Can you please share how you fixed this problem? Having the same issue -- Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit, all up to date, reinstalled .NET v4, ran ccleaner, cleaned registry, uninstalled/reinstalled iTunes and rebooted more times than I care to admit, still the same problem.
Or if Apple is unwilling to tell us how to fix it, anybody looking to buy a useless Ipad2?

If the article above doesn't sort you out then for general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. (Similar to Apple's article but with some resources for when things go wrong). Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for installation or performance issues, or compatibility with QuickTime or third party software.

Shared folder access problem in j2ee application

We are using SAP Netweaver 04s JAVA system.
In our j2ee application we are trying to access shared resource(file), but ejb is giving exception. Our code is as follows:

It gives expection "FileNotFoundException".
The same j2ee application is working fine when deployed on IBM Websphere.
We trired to access same shared path from windows, it is also working.

Problem saving annotated PDF files with windows reader app

It has happened to more than one of my files. After I read it, and jotted some notes on it, when I was trying to save, it tells me I couldn't. At first, l thought it was a problem of my file. However, it has happened to every file I tried. When I opened
the file with another PDF app, it opens and saves fine.
Is there anything I am missing that causes the problem?

I just made a test using Windows Reader, it works fine without problem. For your problem, I doubt there is a problem with this app and you can try to reinstall this Reader app trough Windows Store.
On the other hand, you can access to the link below to download the pdf file to make a test. I already made a test using this pdf file on my system, Windows 8.1 Pro. Reader app works fine:
