Problem running first CF effort in webspace

I have windows XP (std), dreamweaver MX 2004 and CfusionMX.
I have (after many hours of frustration) got a simple registration page, members list page, and login page to work on my browser. This is to be part of a small website I run (6MB).
However I cannot get them to work in my webspace. I have tried just copying in the site-folder and all its contents and I have also copied in everything from the cfusionMX folder downwards (except uninstall and pdfs).
When I installed cfusion I seem to remember ‘ticking the box’ for 1 pc but I cannot find a suitable setting to change.
None of the web hosts seem to host CF for less than £15pm. Is there a way to run dynamic pages on the web?

I am not sure what this even means as I am getting this error even with a test package that doesn't do anything with the database. I have just two flat file connection managers in this test project one for grabbing the source file and one for
creating the new test file.

UNIX: problem running an DEV & QA environment using form/report servlets
I am trying to setup on one server an DEV and QA environment using the Forms Servlet, Forms Listener Servlet and Report Servlet.
I think I have the Forms Servlet and Forms Listener Servlet running properly. The problem is setting up the DEV and QA environment for running reports.
For example, when in DEV environment I would like to run a report from a directory specified in the REPORTS60_PATH. This doesn't seem possible.
It might be easier if I describe my configuration first:
DEV: run all forms and reports from the directory /data/release/dev
QA: run all forms and reports from the directory /data/release/qa

Custom Env files since we are using Developer 6i Patch 7

Here I specify FORMS60_PATH and REPORTS60_PATH,
eg: DEV -> FORMS60_PATH=/data/release/dev
REPORTS60_PATH=/data/release/dev
likewise for QA ../qa
In the formsweb.cfg file i have something like:

I have tested the following and they work without problems:
1. forms listener test page, eg: http://webserver:7777/servlet/fl60dev
2. running forms from the 2 environments
eg: http://webserver:7777/servlet/f60servlet?config=dev
this runs the form in the FORMS60_PATH (/data/release/dev)
Now my problems start with Reports.
When I run a report from forms (using run_report_object) it will not run any reports
as specified in the REPORTS60_PATH
Even using this url:
http://webserver:7777/servlet/RWServlet?server=rep60&report=test.rdf&destype=cache&desformat=html&
userid=scott/tiger@test9i
It NEVER seems to pickup and use the REPORTS60_PATH. I have tried nearly everything.
I have gone throught the instructions in "Integrating Oracle9iAS Reports in Oracle9iAS Forms -
White Paper"

and Forms6i Patch 7: Oracle Forms Listner Servlet for Deployment of FOrms on the Internet

totally confused, please help.
I have tried setting the REPORTS60_PATH in the following files without success:
custom.env (as specified by initArgs=EnvFile in zone.properties)
jserv.properties
in the zone.properties I have tried to set a custom env file for the report servlet:

servlet.RWServlet.initArgs=EnvFile=/u01/app/oracle/product/ias/6iserver/forms60/server/dev_rep.env
NO LUCK.
The only place that I can set the REPORTS60_PATH
is in "[6iserver home]/reports60_server" file when I start the reports server (did I even
get this right - I do have to have a reports server running don't I?)
Does this meaan I have to run multiple report servers for each of my environments?
Based on all the documentation I thought that REPORTS60_PATH as specified in the files relating
to the forms servlet would be the place to specify the path.
As you will understand I am getting really fustrated with this and it seems to
me that the reports servlet configuration in 6i is really half baked and since 9i
is coming out it will never be fixed.

I am even not able to run forms servlets from two different forms60_path, Is there any configuration do you make other than what you have mentioned in this post.
I already open a TAR in this regard, I am still waiting reply from ORACLE.

Workspace 4 Minutes delay while running first report of the session

Hi Techies,
We are facing a strange issue in Workspace. When the user logs in to workspace and tries runs first report it nearly takes 4 or 5 minutes to bring up the POVs or Prompts. After this 4 minutes delay any subsequent action on reports is faster.
But when the user logs off and log back in we are facing the same delay. Looks like this problem is there for every session.
Any insight on this issue will be highly helpful

I am experiencing the same issue with a system 9.3 implementation. The issue occurs in Workspace only, not within the Financial Reporting Studio. That is making me think it is more of a web/application server issue. I have not been able to resolve, but any help would be appreciated.

Problem running your example with TCL in TestStand 2.0

I`m having problems trying to run your example: "Calling TCL Scripts from TestStand 1.0.x". I use TestStand 2.0. In fact, I don`t see any response when running first step in a sequence. Could it be issues related to the TestStand version.

The example should work in TestStand 2.0.x, since other users have reported that they have successfully done so and nothing has changed in TestStand 2.0.x that would affect its execution.
In order to get the example to work you will need to have the TCL interpreter installed correctly so that the dll being used in the example can invoke it. If you can programmatically control the interpreter with any other code module as this dll does then this example should work as well. However, if you cannot do this in any way on your system then it is safe to say that nothing will work including the example. Verify that the TCL interpreter will work in this fashion per the vendor's instructions and then try the example again. If you are receiving errors from TestStand
when executing the sequence let us know about those and we may be able to help you more directly.

I have had a search around forums etc and have tried amending the icm/host_name_full in RZ10 but have not solved this problem.
I am hoping for some advice on how to best proceed.

OK, thank you for the advice so far. Just to clarify, as per e.g.'s in help, if I amend the icm/host_name_full parameter in rz10 to the following:
<host name>.<domain> <extension
This will then result in the url of the dynpro application becoming:
http://tdt.sap.de:8000/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zz__webdp3

Export workbook – One sheet needs to be run first before all sheets can be

I have “Init” sheet in a workbook, which sets the entered parameter values in DB context. Other worksheets query data based on the DB context value.
Now, I’m writing a DOS batch job to automatically export the workbook. The problem I’m facing is I can’t instruct Discoverer to run the “Init” sheet first.
So far I tried the following commands

1. I don't have the command in front of me, but you have to run each command separately for each worksheet if that's what you need to do.
So, your first run would be something like:
c:\oracle\BIToolsHome_1\bin\dis51usr.exe /connect test#/dev@dec_db /opendb "Account.DIS" /Sheet Init /parameter Acct_ID 0113 /parameter MV 40494801 /batch /export HTML "ELT_report_%today_date%.xls"
while your second ... all runs would be to label each worksheet separately OR if you used the ALL, it would re-run Init again and may screw you up.
Sounds like you'll have to specify each separately if you're dependent on the order.
2. Alternatively, if you just used the ALL version and that's it (ie: put in /Sheet ALL by itself), then I thought that the first worksheet in a workbook (farthest left) would be the one to run first. If this is correct, then maybe this would work if you make sure of the worksheet ordering in the workbook.

The Enable Communications Bypass VI sounds like a VI that is only included with Traditional or legacy ELVIS designed to work with the first generation ELVIS unit, not the ELVIS II/II+ or myDAQ. It sounds like the inverted pendulum trainer you have is for use with ELVIS I. In the LabVIEW Loading dialog, do you see the full path for where it's looking for the VI? Can you provide that full path? If the inverted pendulum trainer is designed to work with the older ELVIS unit, there may be a newer version that supports ELVIS II.

Teurastaja, that is not how my sync works with Nokia 6681.
- I get most of my additions to phonebook to the phone, because that is where I add new contact (someone call me and I add that new contact to phone book etc.)
- I "clean up" my contacts like you do, using Outlook, it is more convinient that way, like you say.
- I get 95% most of my calendar stuff to Exchange server(Outlook)and sometimes I add meetings etc. to my phone
Then I syncronise my phone automatically over Bluetoooth everytime I am connected to my PC (this happens 3-4 times/day).
And it works, if I delete something in Outlook, it gets deleted from phone. additions to phone and Outlook get added to "the other end" as well.
I never touch my sync settings and I have "update in both directions" in use.
This is they way it should work and it works as long as you don't change the settings every so often, that confuses the sync and makes it run a "first time sync" and that causes the sync to rewrite the deleted stuff back.

To be specific on what is the scope of my application.
What I'm trying to do is run or simulate my application on appletviewer on a certain pop-up HTML
document. The first part of my statement block on my code doing well on
executing the downloading process of a file and save it on local machine.
This portion of works fine.
But the thing that I'm having some difficulties is
whenever i Re-opened the downloaded file from my local machine
that is being downloaded from my server.

Now the weird things happen here.
The file was able to opened- as I wanted to, but when a made changes or not doing anything.
The Microsoft Word 2008 application on the MAC Activity Monitor. The instance was still alive or
keep running and I execute MAC commands being implement on the Process on the Terminal and it still
stuck in that thing. which means I have to manually kill the process of the said application on
the GUI part of Task Manager of MAC and my 2nd statement on the if replies.
Any thoughts will glady appreciated.

CDs won't mount or appear on desktop....says run "First Aid"

I have an iMac running 10.5.8.
Pre-recorded CDs will not mount or appear on the desktop. They will show up
under the CD drive in disk utility. But when I try to "mount", it says try running first aid on the disk and then retry. But you can't run first aid on it.
They eject fine thru disk utility. Blank CDs appear on the desktop in normal fashion.
Anyone know what's going on? I just updated to iTunes 10 today and am getting nothing. Prior to updating, I was having to "mount" most CDs thru Disk Utility, but they would mount.
Any ideas?

Yeah, I did have the same experience, and lucky that I managed to solve it. I remember that I put my iPod in Disk Mode and pluged it with my Mac, opened the disk utility, but went to Tab "Partition" and clicked Delete, went back to "Erase" and clicked Erase. Once it had completed, opened the iPod updater and clicked "Restore". If you cant solve it this way, go back to your PC and do a format instead of Restore. It really does not matter the the Format get completed or not, as when you plug it (even better - without an iPod software) with a computer (in disk mode), it will recognize it as an external disk and ask you whether you want to format it then do a Restore and you will put it back to life. Bear in mind that the problem is the computer recognizes it as an iPod but does not allow you to do a Restore.

Software ask for permission to install , and about 30 % in , my instinct was telling me , there is something not right . I stop installation . Delete everything , look for any
trace in Spotlight , Library . Nothing could be find .
Now , every time I open Safari , Firefox or Chrome , it will open in my home page , but when I start looking for something in steed of Google page , there is
''search.genieo.com'' page acting like a Google . I try again to get raid of this but I can not find solution .
With more research , again using genieo.com search eng. there is lots of articles and warnings . From that I learn do not use uninstall software , because doing this will install more things where it come from.
I do have AppleCare support but its to late to phone them , so maybe there some people with knowledge , how to get this of my computer

Genieo definitely doesn't help with your router. It's just adware, and has no benefit to you at all. They scammed you so that they could display their ads on your computer.

Yes, I had found a similar solution also. I'm running XP Pro, SP3. I went Control Panels/ Add-Remove programmes/apple software update/ change/ repair. Then run the 10.5 exe.
While the programme updated from version 8 of iTunes, my new iTunes is now a mess. Not all of my music was in the same folder previously but it all showed up on iTunes. Now many albums have been left out, some have only a few tracks and some have two copies of some tracks as well as having other tracks missing. I haven't begun to work on that.

Problem running BI template installer after upgrade to 2004s

After upgrading our Portal from EP6 to EP7 I have a problem running the BI template installer. The failure occures right at the beginning. The installer is looking for SLD related parameters in the 'CTC> Propertysheet SystemProperties'.
But there are only three parameters in the sheet :
HOST, SYSTEM_ID, INSTANCE_ID.
If you instal a new 2004s system you see much more entries in the 'Propertysheet SystemProperties'.
My question is how to add these missing entries into the 'Propertysheet SystemProperties'.

Actually there are only two things to manually fix after the CTC template run, which is mentioned in the Blog:
- check/correct the following settings in the NetWeaver Administrator for evaluate_assertion_ticket and ticket according SAP Note 945055
- the entry in table RSPOR_T_PORTAL for Platform and PDF fonts
If you uncertain, you can remove the created objects as stated in the Document http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-11607 => Page18 in the Notes Section. the CTC template is creating these objects and entries again.
