Problem saving change on Windows 7 64

I have Windows 7 64 with Adobe Suite Production 4.
Working with Premiere Pro usually I save my projects every 1 hour.
Many times after closing my project, I find out that all the work done was not been saved, (even that I make short to save all changes).
Think good I recover all my Work on Auto-Save directory.
If I save my project with another name, the project will be save OK.
Or save a copy of the project if the file don't exist it will be saved OK.
I don't use Previous Version on my Windows.
Some how Premiere Pro don't override my Project File.

Some times I work all day long on a Project, and save my work many times, to find out next day that all work done was not saved.
I don't think that a normal behavior of any Software.
Even if I save a Copy of the project (not all the time) if Project File exist before it will not be saved to.
I can't point went this problem occur, but I for short this behavior only happen on files that exist on my drive .

  • Problems after changing to Windows 7 Enterprise

Hi there everyone this is my first post. I have a HP Touchsmart PC IQ790.uk which has been a fantastic machine that Ive had since late 2008. This year I had the OS upgraded from Windows Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Enterprise. Since making this change  can listen to CDs but cannot burn them,  cant watch or burn DVDs. Ive used the search for drivers on device manager which states I hve the best driver available and the device is working correctly, HP Update and windows update but to no avail.
Next problem. My webcam works on MSN and Yahoo Messenger but I cant find the icon in programs like it use to be. Again device manager says its working correctly and hs the best installed driver.
Next problem. My HP Media centre has vanished. Can I download this from HP and is it compatible with Windows 7 Enterprise?
Lastly  had a problem with my GeForce Go 7600 graphics card. It was artifacting. So I baked it in the oven the same as you would do with an Xbox when it goes. It now works perfectly. My question here is : Where can I get a new one for the future?
All help on these problems would be greatly appreciated. Regards.

I would recommend you to install Windows 7 Home Premium.
Your unit is more to be used as a Media Center unit, for entertainment and you would gain more in having another O.S version rather the Enterprise one.
Your PC was design and created to be using O.S versions directed for customer envinronment, so using an enterprise version, you would not gain much.
You cannot download HP Media Center from anywhere, it is not available.
    Hope this helps.

  • Problems saving changes in image size

I have some digital files that I need to resize for printing. Most need to be sized to print full-frame on 8.5 by 11 inch sheets of paper, while the others need to be full-frame on 5 by 7 paper.
I'm using a trial version of PS Elements. I call up the image in Elements, then click on "Image," select "Resize" and then "Image Size."
Then under "Document Size" I put in the width and height I want in inches, make sure the Resolution's at least 300 and click "OK." Then I click on "File," then "Save As," and click "Save." When the "JPEG Options" box comes up, I click on "OK." But later, when I call the file up again, the changes I thought I'd made aren't saved. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Did you check "Constrain proportions" and "Resample Image"?
Since you want to arrive at 8.5x11" and 5x7" you will need to crop to these dimensions, since the aspect ratios are not the same.
Try the crop tool. Enter height, width, and resolution on the tool's option bar.

  • Problem Saving Changed Info

I've made several iDVD projects before and have never had this problem...When I move things around, change text, background music, etc. it won't save my changes. I've tried doing File-Save after each change, but when I leave the page and come back again, it's changed back to the default settings. Am I missing something obvious??? I'm so frustrated...I've changed it back at least 10 times and don't have time for this.

Give this basic remedy a try. Quit iDVD and delete your iDVD preferences. To do this, go to your username> library> preferences> com.apple.idvd.plist. Delete this file. Then reopen iDVD; it will create a new preference file with all of the default settings.
You can also do a verify and repair of permissions using Disk Utility.
    I hope this helps.

  • Problem in saving changes in hosts

I am having trouble saving changes in hosts when I edit them in the terminal. So I execute the following directions:
Launch Terminal, found in /Applications/Utilities/ or launched through Spotlight
Type the following command at the prompt:
    sudo nano /private/etc/hosts
Enter the administrator password when requested, you will not see it typed on screen as usual with the command line
Once the hosts file is loaded within nano, use the arrow keys to navigate to the bottom of the hosts file to make your modifications
When finished, hit Control+O followed by ENTER/RETURN to save changes to /private/etc/hosts, then hit Control+X to exit out of nano
Once I try to save my changes, the usual window opens where you can choose you file directory. I cant save it anywhere because there is no suitable file or folder that allows me to do that. I searched a bit about that and saw that I can try entering the /private/etc/hosts directory. There I can see the file of the terminal named "Terminal Saved Output" but still cant save my changes there.
Any idea what might be wrong and what I can do?

    Hi,
If your using internal table to update use syntax
    Update <ztable name> from table <internal table>.
    if work area
    update <ztable name> from <wa>.
since you want to update just zhof try using
    update <ztable name> set zhof = wa-zhof where <some primary key condition>
    Also check your code here:
    update zco_hoff2 from it_zco_hoff2.
where as you have said earlier that your z table name is zcho_hoff2.
Just use COMMIT WORK instead of addition WAIT.
For more info write UPDATE/MODIFY in ur abap editor and do F1 on it.
    Regards,
    Amit

Since I have changed from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1, I have not been able to start up Photoshop Elements 9! or Premiere Elements 9! The menu starts up alright, but the programs don't start when I press any buttons. How do I fix this problem?

If Layers is greyed out it possibly means that you are in Quick Mode. Select 'Expert' and all the options should become available.
Try permanently associating psd files with C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 12\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe and see if that fixes the issue. Instructions here - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows-8/choose-programs-windows-uses-default.

I updated iTunes to 10.4 version and now it doesn't start and send a messages "iTunes has detected an error and must be closed". Someone have the same problem and how can we repair our installation insted of change the windows XP installation? Best regards

Only way to get iMac starting again was to re-install 10.4.4 from DVD, and then update it into 10.4.6. For a while it worked perfectly, just as before.
Then I tried to print to CD with my EPSON Stylus Photo 950 from Adobe Photoshop Elements (2.0). It didn't print anything, but printer started flashing all lights. The print job was not performed, so I did remove it from the Printer Utility. After that the iMac started "ticking" again, same noise than before, after 10.4.7 installation. I did re-boot iMac. It never started, it does stuck on gray screen (gray block running clockwise). HW test from DVD didn't find any problems (extended search looping 3 times). But Disk Utility found hard drive to have inaccurate node structure, it could not fix it.
Apple support recommended to use DiskWarrior. However, it does not support (yet) Intel Macs. I haven't got TechTool Pro 4.5.1 anywhere. iMac does start on to FireWire mode (T at boot), but I cannot see the disk from 10.2.8 iMac.
So, obvisously the problem is not 10.4.7. I believe it to be ESPON printer driver compatibility on Mac OSX. This does not suprise me, EPSON printers *****, I shall never purchase one again. However, disk catalog structure should not get messed by one faulty printer driver!

    Might be corrupted preferences ..
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
    ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.desktop.plist
Click Go then move the com.apple.desktop.plist file to the Trash.
Restart your Mac and try changing the desktop photo.

  • Having a problem saving the graphics on a canvas.

I'm having a problem saving graphics on a canvas. It draws on the canvas but when another window comes up the graphics disappear. I put in a method to take the graphics on the canvas and repaint it with the graphics. But this comes up blank. So I don't know why this is happening. It is probably the paint method but I don't know why. If anyone has any ideas could you please respond because I have had this problem for ages now and it's driving me mad and I have to get this finished or I'm going to be a lot of trouble. I'll show you the code for the class I am concerned with. It is long but most of it can be disregarded. The only parts which are relevent are the paint method and where the drawline e.t.c are called which is in the mouse release

  • Path problem during  Change of Original

    Hello,
I am facing path problem while changing the Original file in a DIR.
let say i created a DIR x and attached file a.txt from c:\ and  saved the DIR.
Now if i use cv02 and select a original for change the popup window comes with data carrier and original file path  the path is shown as c:\a.txt which is actual original path.
if i click on continue it is opening the c:\a.txt files and  changes are done on the original file on my pc.
This way my original file is changed on pc and in DIR also.
I want to know how to avoid this?.
    Regards
    Shiv

That is why they call it document "Management".  The Original File is in the "Vault" where it can be managed, not on the desktop.  If you want to protect/save the file on your desktop, set the flag in the config of the workstation application to not allow "rename" of the temporary file.  You are just attempting to circumvent the intended design of the system. What you should really do is set the flag to "delete" the file after check-in.

  • When bookmark with Firefox I get an error message that Google has a problem saving the bookmark. Whay are FF bookmarks being saved to Google?

I used to be able to save bookmarks in Firefox. Now when I save a bookmark there is an error message that Google is having a problem saving the bookmark. Does this mean saving to Google or Firefox? When I look roe the saved bookmark it is Google.
Also when I save the bookmark i do not get the option to save it to a folder-- I can only tag it

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

  • Problem with changing Label in Bridge CS3 and CS6

    Hi there,
I am having some problem with changing Label in Bridge CS3 and CS6 in windows.
    1. In Bridge CS3 (Windows XP), most of the time with most of the files, there is no problem. But I found that in some files, the Label does not get changed. I usually change Label by right clicking on the picture, then Label and select any Label. When I do so in those files, nothing happens. But when I rename the file by changing or adding just a single character, then it works. And if I again rename to original name, it still works. But without renaming the Label does not change. Again this does not happen with all pictures, but occationally with some. We usually receive pictures from different clients for editing purpose.
    2. In Bridge CS6 (Windows 7), if you create lot of Path using Pen tool in Photoshop for the purpose of removing background, you save the file, close, and change Label in Bridge, again open the file in Photoshop, you see no Path in the Path Pallette. So that means, changing Label works, but it removes the Path from the file. But if there is small amount of path, then no prboblem. But if there is lot of path, like you need to create for a necklace to remove background, then the problem arises.
I am using Bridge for a purpose where it is very helpful so I really need to use Bridge, and Labeling feature is the most important to me, but after feaguring out this problem, I am really tensed as to whether or not I will find a solution to this. So any help, guidance will really be appreciated.
Thanks very much in advance for any solution.
    Best regards

I have re-checked the issue and I found that the problem is with JPG file.
I wasn't even aware you could save a path to a jpeg file (always use PSD because of wanting to keep the Alpha Channel, jpeg only can contain 1 layer and no alpha channels and/or transparency).
However I tried it on a file with a simple path and one with a complex path. It seems indeed you have found a bug. The simple path is no problem but the more complex path is indeed disappearing.
It is not only label but also rate or adding IPTC in the description field. The moment metadata is saved to this jpeg file and reopened the earlier present work path of a more complex path is gone.
Despite the fact that to my opinion a jpeg is not the most suitable file format for saving a work path this should not happen. If a work path is saved to a jpeg then it should be kept saved after just altering metadata in Bridge.
It still is the same behavior in Bridge CC because that is what I use. Don't know when it started but it still needs to be repaired

  • Where are power options saved in the Windows registry?

The problem is that a customer IT department did something wrong during deploying GP preferences. Now nothing is working and we have to delete all settings, that the new GP preferences I newly created will work.
Now GP preferences is not working on 300 clients. I don't know what they have done. If we reinstall the clients, GP preferences (power settings) are working fine. They have only used GP preferences for power settings. No other changes before the problem started.
My senior manager told me to delete power options / settings in the Windows registry. So I can delete this?
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\ControlPanel\NameSpace\{025A5937-A6BE-4686-A844-36FE4BEC8B6D}

    Hi
Where are power options / settings from Windows 7 saved in the Windows registry? We deploy the energy settings via GPO’s.
    Many thanks in advance
