Problem: Schema File Size Restriction?

Hi all,
I am working with Oracle Database 10g Release 2 10.2.0.2 Patch 6.
I have tried to register a schema with file size up to 25,6Kb, but it hasn't been possible. Is it a restriction in Oracle XML DB?
I didn't find any reference in Oracle's site, making a search for this concept.
Thanks.

Hello RPuttagunta,
I don't remember the error mesages, in some occasions oracle shows me XML end file encountered or something similar, in other case shows, expected '=', find '', but I don't remember, sorry.
Thanks,
David.

  • Output file size restrictions - HD Video for YouTube

For over a year YouTube has removed restrictions on file sizes for individuals that want to do so.  The preset output in Premier Elements 11 for "Online - HD Video for YouTube 1920X1080" will not allow a video longer than 15 minutes.  I need to remove this restriction and be able to produce files to upload to YouTube without file size restrictions.  How can I do this?

    TheBanjoNut
You cannot. And, Premiere Elements 12 has the same YouTube limitations as 11.
You need to export your Timeline to a file saved to the computer hard drive, and then upload that file to YouTube at the YouTube web site.
At YouTube, you would need to explore the opportunities that it offers in the way of "extended times". It may require special accounts.
Without further details of your Premiere Elements project preset and the properties of your source media, I would generalize and suggest that you look at the follow choices for creating this file for upload to YouTube at the YouTube web site...
    Publish+Share
    Computer
    AVCHD
    with Presets =
    MP4 - H.264 1920 x 1080p30
    or
YouTube Widescreen HD (changing the settings under the Advanced Button/Video Tab of the preset)
Please review. If you have any further questions on this, please do not hesitate to ask.
    Thanks.

  • Quicktime 7 file size restriction?

I have some large files shot on HDV and Imported into Final Cut Pro X. I want to use FCP 7 Pro to split them and export in a different format. The larger files 8-10GB appear in QT7 with sound only and a black screen. Smaller files 3-5GB play as expected. My computer is a MacPro 2x2.26 with 20GB RAM. These files WILL play in QTX, but I don't have the export options of QT Pro.
This leads me to think that there must be a file size restriction for QT Pro 7. Does anyone know what it is?
FYI the detaile of the files I'm trying to play: HDV 1080i50 1440x18080 (1880x1062) Millions. I have Quicktime Pro 7.6.6. My work-sround has been to split and re-compress in Compressor, but QT7 has always been the quick and dirty solution.

    Hi,
There is no restrictions on content server side but it will depends on your organization network latency, speed and etc.
FYI: We have checked in content around 2GB of data so for.

I have implemented the sap note 0001606246 and 0001639418 and I'm making some test
Please, could you tell me how can you solve the problem of the maximum number of row? it is required that detail records can not exceed 15.000. I made a small test and my file contained more than 36000 rows. The same problem is related to the file size that can not exceed 3 MB. Have you the same problem or how did you solve it?
Thank you very much for your help.

  • XML file size restriction

    Hi,
I am usnig the file adapter to read the XML file, is there any restriction on the file size. Is this documented anywhere in oracle document.
    Please advice.
    Regards,
    Sreejit

    Hi Sreejit,
Apart from what is documented in the 10.1.3.3 SOA Best Practices Guide, if you have a huge XML file with repeating nodes, you can process them in manageable chunks.
With attachment feature, you can copy/move large files opaquely from one folder to another.
    Hope this helps!

  • Problems with file size

There are a few discussions on this subject but I've been unable to resolve my problem.
I created a 24 page catalogue in InDesign, file size c30Mb. When I export to Acrobat the resulting file is about 11.5Mb. I need to get this down to 5Mb for online publishing.
As a last resort, I stripped out all the hi-res EPS image files and replaced them with smaller jpegs.....all to no avail. In fact the source InDesign file has not changed at all. To that end:
    1. Is there a way to identify the file size of the various elements of the InDesign file to see where the big bits are?
    2. What else can I do to get the pdf file below 5Mb?
    Thanks for any advice.
    totallockout (Novice CS user)

One very important thing to understand is that you can't simply legislate the resultant PDF file size when creating PDF from original content.
Image size and resolution certainly can have a major effect on the resultant PDF file size, but there are other possiblities including large amounts of vector artwork for which the only way to bring down the file size is to turn it into raster image (often making it unreadable) or by simplying it.
When you refer to your EPS images (we strongly recommend against using EPS for images in the 21st century), we assume you mean raster images that were saved as EPS in Photoshop. It is possible that those high resolution images were already compressed quite a bit and thus, smaller JPEG versions of the EPS files would not have any appreciable effect on the output PDF file size.
Quite frankly, if much of your 24 page catalog is imagery, 11.5MB of PDF is not bad at all. Maybe if you can post a copy of the file, we can give you some further advise. But in the end, you might have to dramatically simplify your design to reach a target output file size.

  • Black screen problem and file size

Like others I have been having trouble with importing from iPhoto to iMovie. At times everything works just fine but on my most recent project I have been having a terrible time with the preview screen being black. I have used this discussion forum to try and resolve the problem. I've tried many of the recommedations but the problem continues.
In one thread it was mentioned that file size might have something to do with the problem. I think there may be something to this. I've noticed that any file that is 1MB or less shows just fine in the preview window. Files between 1-2 MB seem to have an erratic pattern of loading and files above 2 will hardly ever load.
Unfortunately I seem to have a lot of photos in the latter category (taken on a recent trip to New Zealand). I'm hoping someone can give me some hints on how to reduce the size of these files in a "batch" fashion. Perhaps via Photoshop?
Also, has anyone else noticed any connection between file size and the black screen problem.
    Thanks.

    Matti,
Thanks for the reply but that isn't the problem I'm having. I've read plenty about not emptying the trash and have not done that.
The problem I'm having happens before the picture is even put in the timeline. When I click on media, go to iphoto and highlight a picture that I want to place in the timeline I will get a black preview screen with the scrubber arrow running across the bottom. Through a rather tedious process I think I have determined that the problem is related to file size. If the jpeg file is greater than 3MB it will not load. Jpeg files under 1MB load wonderfully. Those between 1-2MB are erratic in whether they load or not.

  • Problems Shrinking File Size

Hi, I'm using Elements 7 and I've got JPEGs from my Canon G12 with an original file size of approx 1.5 MB. I'd like to post some of these on a website with a file size limit of 150 KB.
My current method (and the only one I know of) is to do the following:
    File
    Save As
and then slide the quality slider to the left until the file size indicator reads  below a 150 KB. Some of my images will not go below 150 KB without radical cropping. Apart from setting the camera to take less detailed images to start with, is there anything else I can do to shrink my images for web publication.
    Tim

You could use File->Save For Web, which pretty much does the same thing. With File->Save for Web, you can also reduce the number of pixels in your image (not cropping, but shrinking the photo) which might get you the results you want.
But those are the only methods.

  • File size restriction on FTP Adapter (GET)

A customer has deployed a BPEL process that we had created that uses the FTP Adapter to download (GET) files. The customer is reporting that when they try to download a large file (about 800 MB in size), the process does not seem to kick in for more than one hour. At this point I don't know how good or bad the network speed is and how long a FTP download will take for a file of that size. But before looking into that, wanted to know if there is any restriction on how big a file can be for it to be downloaded by the BPEL FTP Adapter. If not, is there some way to find out what is wrong with the downloading or to know to progress of the FTP GET?
The user guide talks about increasing the value of transaction-config timeout in server.xml for the File Adapter. Is this applicable for FTP Adapter also and will it work if I increase this?
Thanks in advance for your attention.
    Jay

Thanks for the pointer. The processes are deployed on a 10.1.3.5 instance.
Of the info I found in that article, only the following seemed applicable:
53.2.1 Setting Audit Levels from Oracle Enterprise Manager for Large Payload Processing
I can ask the customer to turn off auditing if it is on. But I am skeptical that this will resolve this issue.
The following seem to be applicable only to 11g version and I am not sure if they have any corresponding options in 10.1.3.5 (please let me know if I am mistaken):
    1. 53.2.4 Using Adapter Support for Streaming Large Payloads
    2. 53.2.6 Processing Large Documents in Oracle B2B
Section 53.3.1 Opaque Schema for Processing Large Payloads says the following:
There is a limitation when you use an opaque schema for processing large payloads. The entire data for the opaque translator is converted to a single Base64-encoded string. An opaque schema is generally used for smaller data. For large data, use the attachments feature instead of the opaque translator.
Based on your experience, has the FTP Adapter ever been used to download files of 800MB or larger size on a 10.1.3.5 instance? I would like to know if there is any insurmountable system limitation with this approach or is it just a question of proper configuration or is this a bug that the FTP adapter product team can look at. I assume the attachment feature is not available in 10.1.3.5.
The remaining sections don't seem applicable to the the customer scenario.
Can you please explain what ODI is?
    Appreciating your input,
    Jay

  • PDF file-size restrictions? Any solutions?

Downloading a large PDF is no longer working for me.  This is with Windows 7 and Outlook.com (formerly HotMail or LiveMail).
The download starts and then stalls.  I see reports that there now are generally applied restrictions of filesize to 20Mb.  Is there
any way around this?  My connections and software are up-to-date or very close to it, and the system is reported as bug-free.

E-documents should never be transferred by email; they can get damaged, lost, misdirected, or end up with different problems such as yours.
Far more efficent is using a file sharing service (Acrobat.com Workspaces, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.), then send the download link by email.

  • Are there file size restrictions when utilizing the time lapse feature in iMovie?

I am attempting to compile several hours (10 to be exact) worth of video footage from a Go-Pro that I would like to condense into one time lapsed video using iMovie. After modifying the speed for the clips (31 total individual clips) my computer is unable to play back. I end up "beach balling" and waiting for the processed clip to load for an undetermined amount of time --so far only resulting in the program 'not responding', pressuring me to have to force quit iMovie altogether. (The icon on the clip itself updates to depict the 'fast forward' rabbit, and the physical clip size does shrink to lead me to believe that the time lapse successful applied). If the clip does play to begin with, it is very quickly
Any advice on how to achieve hours worth of video footage without using other programs? I've tried speeding each individual clip with time lapse one by one, but adding even two of the 20 minute clips crashes the program.
any assistance or advice is extremely appreciated.

  • I have to zip pdf files to email them to someone with a PC. The problem is they aren't smaller after zipping and I can't email them. I tried adjusting the Quartz filter to the Reduce file size. Now they're smaller, but the recipient can't read them. Help!

I need to zip pdf files to email them to a PC user. The problem is file size is not reduced.
I tried zipping them in Win 7 (which I use via Parallels 7) and sending them to the Finder to email.
But lately nothing is reduced.  I tried choosing the Reduce File Size option in the Quartz Filter when I save the doc. The file size was reduced. However, the recipient could not read the file. Everything was blurry.
    Is there a solution?

I am having some PDF sizing issues also, I am a BETA tester for TurboCAD Mac, and with the usage of (public) version 5, I have had some scaling issues. I have had (auto sent) 15 plus crash reports, (available as text) and had posted my scenario within the "lion- problems so far" article, so not to use up extra bandwith- or whatever- there are pictures there. I was not able to upload a PDF on site, and the staff @ Turbo CAd is working on it also. this is Lion specific new update, as I have posted many large format PDF's

  • Premiere Elements 11 file sizes

    Premiere Elements 11 file sizes?
I recorded small 170MB and larger 570MB videos with audio using HyperCam 3.
Both load and play back in Windows Media Player (ver 12.0.7601.18150) without a problem.
I can load and play back the small files in Premiere Elements 11 without a problem.
But, when I load the larger file into Premiere Elements 11, only the sound track loads and plays.
No video track and the preview screen is a solid black box on my monitor.
Is there a file size restriction in using Premiere Elements 11?

    Martyson 2010
By the time I downloaded and looked at your sample video, I see that you and nealeh have worked out a workaround, that is, converting your Microsoft Video 1 (CRAM).avi (1920 x 1080 @ 10 frames per second) to H.264.mp4 (1920 x 1080 @ 30 frames per second.
I was able to convert your sample video into H.264.mp4 (1920 x 1080 @ 30 frames per second using the free HandBrake program). All 11 minutes 52 seconds of the H.264.mp4 imported into Premiere Elements 11 without issue.
In the case of these converters, we are dealing with changes in at least video compression, file extension, and frame rate.
    However
The tests brought up some interesting questions
    1. When I ran your file through the gspot utility, the video codec was shown as Microsoft Video 1 (CRAM), but it listed Codec NOT installed.
    2. In spite of the Codec NOT installed, I was able to play back your video in Windows Media Player and VLC Player.
    3. Your Microsoft Video 1 (CRAM).avi imported with the complete duration of the file, but only audio, no video.
    Further
    4. When I ran my own Premiere Elements 11 created Microsoft Video 1 (CRAM).avi (30 frames per second, 11 min duration) through gspot, the video codec was shown as Microsoft Video 1 (CRAM), but it listed Codec NOT installed - same as yours.
    5. Yet, my file imported into Premiere Elements 11 completely (video and audio).
    6. I need to run a Microsoft Video 1 (CRAM).avi 10 frames per second, 11 min duration) to see if I get the same results as in 5.
When you record your video, do you have the option of changing the frame rate from 10 to 30 frames per second?
So, some of the questions that the remain for me
    a. Why is my Premiere Elements 11 created Microsoft Video 1 (CRAM) appearing to be different from the Microsoft Video 1 (CRAM) that you use in your file?
    b. Why is gspot telling me that the Microsoft Video 1 (CRAM) codec is not installed when I can use it in Premiere Elements 11 for the import and export of my own file?

  • Maximum file size of 2,0 Gb exceeded

Searched all over the place and found one thread with no solutions, so I´ll try again..
I have a project with two mono recordings, each aiff and 530 mb big. Thats 2 hours and 24 minutes. When I try to bounce this in logic 8 (to mp3), I get the message "maximum file size of 2,0 Gb exceeded - please choose a shorter bounce time". ??? If anyone knows how to get around this, pleeaase let me know.
I imported the aiff files to garageband, and garageband had no trouble bouncing it to mp3, so if garageband is able to bounce it, surely logic should be!? The reason I need to bounce it from logic is because of the editing features there, so doesn´t really help that garageband is able to bounce it....also tried importing the mp3 to logic and then bounce, but same problem occured. I´ve also tried turning down the quality to lowest, but doesn´t help. Please help!

    Just some thoughts on this...
If the OP is saving to a Mac formatted drive it's not a problem with creating a file on the drive. Might try saving to different location.
It's possible this may is an internal error from Logic and. It probably has little to do with the actual file size as much as it does with the overall length of time of the bounce.
In other words... if Logic sees a certain length of time for a bounce, no matter the file type, it thinks the bounced file will exceed the 2GB file limit, which is leftover programming from earlier version of Mac & PC Logic when both operating systems imposed a 2GB file size restriction.
