Problem scoring assessment with multiple correct actions

I've created an assessment simulation in Captivate 4. On several slides, I have two click boxes set up to be the correct action. The user can click either one, receive credit for a correct response, and advance to the next slide. The problem is that the final scoring slide (and the data that gets passed onto the LMS) assigns two possible points to a slide like this (one for each of the two click boxes) instead of one. The result is that when the user clicks either of the two correct click boxes, it is scored as getting only 1 out of 2 points on that slide. Any ideas on how to make either click box count as a correct response, but not both of them count towards the total possible score? I have tried using Advanced Interactions to adjust the Points, Add to Total, Track Score and Report Answer settings, but haven't found a combination that works. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

I don't get it. What is the significance of standby 1 and 2 VS standby 14 and 40? The only difference I noticed is the lower number of standby group goes with primry and higher goes with secondary.
If possible, can you also try the same config you used before except swapping the group number?
e.g.

Problem Creating PDF with Multiple Files in Pro. 7

I'm using Adobe Acrobat Professional 7 on a computer with Windows XP.
The problem is that when I try to create a PDF with multiple files everything just suddenly stops. There are 75 files involved and when it gets to around 41 or so (don't know the exact number because I turned away from my computer for just a moment), it just stops. There are no error messages; nothing. Just a blank Acrobat screen.
Last week I had a different problem which was resolved by an uninstall/reinstall and I was able to create the PDF with those exact same 75 files, but after the PDF was created I realised that some changes needed to be made. I dumped the PDF, made the appropriate changes and left it for the weekend. Today I the new problem has arisen.
Any ideas what the problem might be?

I've read many discussions about Acrobat and problems with server files, with the general solution being what you are doing... copy the files to a local hard drive

Problem when working with multiple sequences

Dears,
In order to make life easier (I am currently working on a rather long project), I work with multiple sequences, one per chapter.
My problem: I named one sequence "assembly sequences" in order to add the various sequences. I dropped the sequence no 1, then no 2. All works fine, beside that when playing the sequence no 2, I see two black lines on top and bottom of the screen for the all length of the sequence. Which is not the case when I click on the sequence itself and play it independently.
Any idea how to solve this ?

Thanks, what happened is that :
1st sequence is like this : Frame size 720x576 pixels, video rate 25fps, Compressor DV-Pal. And I think it is the one appropriate for me and my country.
2nd sequence is like this : Frame size 720x480 pixels,
video rate 29.97 fps, Compressor DV-DVPRO-NTSC.
I think I should change the second sequence setting, but can I do it after all the work I have done, and continue making a 3rd, 4th and so on ?

Problem initiating process with multiple operations using HTTP/SOAP

Hi,
I have defined a process which has multiple operations. My process starts with a pick activity containing onMessage branches for each possible operation. When I initiate this service using the BPEL console, I choose one of the operations and everything works fine.
However, when I initiate this process using an HTTP/SOAP web service call using JMeter, always the first branch is executed regardless of the message I send.
My operations are document/literal. Due to some restrictions, I cannot define a SOAPAction for the operations. Could this be the problem? Is there a workaround for this? If this is not the problem, what could be the cause?
I'm using version 10.1.2.1.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance..

Problem in Aggregate with Multiple level of dimension

I have a BI repository with a snowflake schema. I have also designed the business model with snowflake, It works with drilling and all but I am facing problem when I am
creating a logical column aggregating with a higher level of dimentation. Let me illustrate that :
I have the Following Hierarchy :
Tournament(id, Name) ---- > Round (id, name, tournament_id) -------> Match (id, Name, RoundId ) | Match is fact table and other 2 dimension.
I also created a logical dimension called tournament with 3 levels.
Now say I want to create a logical column Total Number of Matches , aggregating to the dimension level of Tournament. The result gives counts a 0 for every tournament. However
it is working perfectly when the dimension level is Round (which is the immediate next level after fact).
The Logical request generated (in case of Tournament level) :
   MatchId:[DAggr(Measure1.MATCHID by [ Matches$.TournamentId] SB Tournament)] as c1 GB.
    There is no such column as TournamentId in Matches$ table. How does the BI server got this ?
   The execution plan evaluate this:
     cast(NULL as INTEGER ) as c1 GB [for database 0:0,1]
   Can someone please explain why is this happening, is it because of the snowflake schema, but I guess if BI server can handle a snowflake schema it should work the Aggregate
   properly in multiple levels of dimensions, or it is something I am doing wrong.
   Execution Environment:
     Windows XP , OBI 10g on OC4J. Data source : MS Excel (ODBC 3.5)

Can any operator perform this task..I don't think any single operator will help you.
I suggest using an intermediate (staging) table by using a PL SQL procedure with output port to store the values of account number provided the number of accounts are limited. Else use an array variable for account of an employee.
In short no simple solution because of the bad source design else the pivot/unpivot operator would have helped you.

Problem in mapping with multiple values

Hi all,
I am facing a problem during mapping. I am explainning the problem with a example.
Suppose i have a source table named Employee which has two columns emp no and account no. I have a target table Emp_account which has also the same columns.
One employee may have more than one accounts. In source table this account nos are stored in account no column in one row corresponding to emp no. The multiple values in account no are separated by comma for one record in source table.
But in the target table Emp_account a single record will be inserted for each employee's separate account. There should not be multiple values separated by comma in account no column of target table.
So if any employee has two accounts this will be stored as one row in source table but in target table it will divided into two different rows for each account.
EMPLOYEE(Source)
emp no account no
10 101, 102
EMP_ACCOUNT(Target)
emp no account no
10 101
10 102

Problem in 3750 with multiple IP segment in same VLAN

Hi,
I've problems in 3750 and would like to ask for help.
I've 3750 switch with standard image. Because of lacking IP addresses, I'm going to redesign the IP scheme. Before complete migrate to new IP range, I've to let new IP segment co-exist with old IP segment for a while (I've 3 VLANs that have same situation). For example, 10.10.13.0/24 (old) will co-exist with 10.10.32.0/21 (new) in same VLAN (let say VLAN 32).
Below is the partial configuration in 3750:

ip address 10.10.13.2 255.255.255.0 secondary
ip address 10.10.32.2 255.255.248.0
standby 14 ip 10.10.13.3
standby 40 ip 10.10.32.3
I've two PCs. PC-A is 10.10.13.250 and PC-B is 10.10.33.250, both are using HSRP IP as default gateway (the subnet mask are correct).
My problem is:
Two PCs can not ping to each other. I can not ping to both PCs from 3750. But if I'm using physical IP as their gateway (such as 10.2.13.2 for PC-A and 10.2.32.2 for PC-B), then both PCs can be ping each others.
How can I solve the problems if I've to use HSRP IP as default gateway?

Problem socket.bind() with multiple modems and multiple IPs

I've connected 2 or more modems in Windows control panel and made up windows dail ups. Then I dail up each modem and obtain the local DHCP IPs of each modem.
My target is : to set up sockets using separate modems.
the code is like: create a socket instance , and use Socket.bind()method to bind the socket to a specified modem's local IP , then do socket.connect().
but the problem is : although there are several modem dail ups and at the same time I bind each socket to different IPs , the program always connect via the first modem dailed up.
Does Socket.bind() method really bind the socket connection to the IP's or hardwares?

I think you are trying to use a Socket where you want a ServerSocket to accept the incoming connection. Check this out (I have underlined what
should interest you):

If the machine has multiple network interfaces or IP addresses, then it listens on this port on all those interfaces and IP addresses. Problem importing PSD (with multiple groups and layers) into After Effects. Help!

I created a "comic strip" in photoshop (multiple rectangle shape layers, then various shapes within each box for each frame of the comic strip) that I want to import into AE. When I import it as a composition (to keep my layers), however, what appears is an simply a black image with white lines where the lines of the comic strip used to be. I checked the color modes, but they are both in RGB so I don't think that's the problem. Also, when I double click the cartoon strip composition, I can choose certain groups from the mini flow-chart at the top left and view those individual frames. However, I can't view the entire comic strip as a whole, which is necessary for my animation. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, as I'm on a tight time constraint. Thanks!

When I asked what version down to the last decimal, I meant it. After Effects version should start with 11, but we need the numbers after that too.
And I understand that you want to pan between them, so just put all the different PSD's you import into the same comp and pan between them.

Target Area with Multiple Correct Choices

I hope someone can help me with this issue.
I am setting up a page that is going to be very interactive.
I will give you one segment of the page. There will be a group of
12 people (that have a certain job requirement) on the left and
then on the right side there will be 7 different work areas for
these people to work at. I want the user to drag 1 of the 12 people
to certain areas and leave them. Up to this point it should be
pretty straight forward, however, is gets more complicated....say I
want 1 person to be dragged and only accepted at areas 1, 3 and 7
but not at the other areas. How would I go about setting multiple
target areas that would be correct?

Well really it depends on how you are choosing to record the
right
answers and if you want to allow the user to put people in
the wrong
places. I dont think anyone will have the time to give you a
complete
run down on how to do all that without a fee but try looking
at the
active if field of the the target responses and set that to
different
icon titles.

Problem sharing iTunes with multiple Windows accounts

My kids and I share a single computer via multiple user accounts. We also share a common iTunes account across all Windows accounts. When new songs or playlists are added, they appear in the other accounts.
Recently, I had to create a new Windows account for my daughter. In iTunes, I went to Edit -> Preferences and changed the iTunes Media folder location to the shared folder. The problem is that none of the playlists came through, and when new songs are added, they do not show up in her account either.
What could be causing this problem on just this account, and what is the possible fix?

If you create multiple user accounts on one computer but want the same music to be available in iTunes for all users, see iTunes: How to share music between different accounts on a single computer.

I want to develop a procedure to update the values of a colunm for each table.

It does not use exceptions. Exceptions are the de facto standard in modern language - not return codes and messages.
It does not use bind variables for the dynamic SQL created. That will result in a lot of hard parsing (that will reduce that loop's performance by 500% or more). It will also fragment the Shared Pool. A fragmented Shared Pool will cause memory allocation errors.
The data model, judging from the select and update, uses column and table names as attributes. That is a fundamental violation of data modeling and makes absolutely no sense at all in relational design.
Still, I suspect that you will ignore these issues (as it seemed was done and lead to this code) and persist in doing it this "+special+" way. In which case, try not to run too hard into the brick wall. And no, one cannot hack holes in that wall. It can only be removed by adhering to fundamentals - from relational design and physical database implementation, to design and coding in PL/SQL and SQL.

Can a pdf have problems when created with multiple PDF versions?

In our everyday workflow, we have PDFs created from different versions. Our main files are created as PDF v1.5, but then we might import pages created from another software that is v1.3, then we might scan and add a page that is created as v1.6. Has anyone noticed any issues with files created this way? I am troubleshooting some problem files and wonder if this could be contributing.

Could possibly be an issue, but it likely depends on the features used. The major problem would be going from later versions to prior versions in terms of the version you open everything in. If you are using the latest version for the editing, I would not see why there would be a problem. Earlier versions of Acrobat may have problems with PDFs saved in later versions, but that can typically be fixed with Reduce File Size or the PDF Optimizer.

Problem updating page with multiple forms

Hello,
Hoping that someone can point me in the right direction. I have a single page with 2 forms, on 2 different tables. Each form region has it's own set of update buttons, generated by the wizards. However, clicking on the Create button on my second form produces an "ORA-20507 invalid column value..." for a column that exists in my FIRST form/table - and I can't figure out why. I changed the second forms button names to Create2 and Save2 and made sure that the second forms ARP was using them, but still no luck getting rid of the error.
Any thoughts would be most appreciated.

I did make sure that the Page Process setup for each of the tables (of type Automatic Row Processing) have the correct button assignments in the Conditional Processing region - i.e., Form1 is using the Create button, and Form2 is using the Create2 button.
