Problem sending pdf attachments from .me email
When I send an email from my .me account with a pdf attachment, the recipient does not receive it. The attachment is not lost: they do not receive the email at all.
If I send the same email with a doc, excel or other type of attachment, it is received without a problem.
I can send the same pdf from my yahoo account and it is received without a problem.
I have replicated the problem with different pdf files and different recipients.
Any thoughts on what might be happening?

In Mail's menu, go to Edit > Attachments
Do you have "Always Send Windows-Friendly Attachments" checked? You should.

Can't download PDF attachments from Hotmail
Hi,
For the past 3 - 4 weeks, I have been unable to download PDFs attached to Hotmail messages. The Windows forum has been unable to help.
I'm running Windows 7, IE 9 and using Acrobat X standard.
So far I have cleared my cache and reinstalled silverlight as the Windows guys suggested. I also restored my computer to a point in the past when I could download attachments.
I can download PDFs from web sites, and open existing documents. I cannot download PDF attachments from other email accounts (such as my academic account).
Any thoughts?If there is an option to download in binary mode, be sure that is selected. I do not have HotMail and have no clue what options might be available.

To configure the browser to use Acrobat or Adobe Reader to open PDF files:
1. Quit Internet Explorer(any other browser)
2. Start Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
3. Choose Edit > Preferences.
4. Select Internet in the list on the left.
5. Deselect(Uncheck) Display PDF in Browser, and click OK.

For Notes, if they are only on your phone I suggest you open them one by one and email them to your self so you have a backup of the text. You can then go to Settings>iCloud and turn Notes to Off, then back On. Then try creating a new note and see if it syncs properly to icloud.com and to your Mac. If so, and if turning it notes off deleted the notes from your phone, you'll have to open each email and copy and paste the text into a new Note.
My own experience with photo stream syncing photos to iPhoto is that it works great. iPhoto automatically receives new photos from photo stream, and if configured to in iPhoto settings, it also saves a copy of the images to your iPhoto library so they are backed up. -
Problem sending big attachments through mail - E72
I've tried both profimail & the built-in client but most of the time it gives error like 'connection timeout or 'unable to send'. Is anyone else experiencing this problem ? This happens when the file size is around 2-3 MB.
I just tried sending myself a 3.5 MB mp3 file on my E73, and then again a 3.6 MB mp3. Both sent and downloaded smoothly with no issues. But I don't do this very often, so my results could be different next time... Have you tried upgrading to the new Nokia Email 3.09.0 client? Your phone's layout may be different, but I upgraded through Control Panel -> Phone -> SW Update. I don't think the older 3.05 beta from the Betalabs site mentioned large attachment problems, but it's worth a try.
If that doesn't help, I wonder if this could be a network problem or a mail server problem. Do you ever have trouble downloading large files from the web, streaming audio or video, etc.? Do you get strong 3G coverage? If you use a desktop computer, do you ever have trouble sending large attachments with this email account? (Avoid testing with webmail, if at all possible.) Does the file send eventually? -

I don't like to send a new e-mail everytime I want to share a document!You can only email one file at a time from Pages. There may workaround using other apps - sending the Pages files to another app that supports multiple attachments, so you could give that a try.

Email attachments from SSRS email subscription are not being uploaded to an email enabled SharePoint 2013 document library.
I have tested the library using a standard email (with attachment) to the library and this works fine.
I have monitored the drop folder on the server and I can see both emails being picked up in drop and processed by SharePoint. The email sent from a regular email account is uploaded with the attachment, whereas the email sent via SSRS subscription
email is uploaded and the attachment (report) is missing.An update on this. The email when sending from SSRS subscription is received in the library and the attachment is contained within the .EML file uploaded.
The behaviour that I would like from SSRS subscription emails are to just have the document and not the email.

Problem opening PDF attachments
When I try to open some PDF attachments from Mail, I get a blank screen. If I try to open the same attachment in a program like Good Reader, I get a message that the file is not valid. I can however open the file from Microsoft Outlook without any problem on my PC? I have the latest update of iOS installed.
Download Adobe Reader first. https://itunes.apple.com/ph/app/adobe-reader/id469337564?mt=8
Then try to open it using that app. IF not successful, use this method:
Go to Settings > “General”
Choose Restrictions and use your passcode
Go to Allowed Content and choose Websites
Choose All Websites and exit Settings
Then open again using your inbuilt reader, Adobe Reader or Good Reader. -

What format are the attachments? If Pages will not display them properly you will need an application that does. Pages usually opens word documents but can give problems at times, if they are MS Word documents, try Libre Office or failing that you may have to purchase MS Word for Mac, maybe you will need to buy the complete Office suite.
The other possiblity is that you already have a suitable application and Pages is loading the file by default, if so change the default application to open that file type. -

I'm having a problem sending a word doc via email. I have Mac for Office 08, and I'm using Mavericks OS. When I save the document as a .doc or .docx, and send it to someone, (doesn't matter if its safari, chrome or firefox or on my yahoo or gmail accounts) they receive it as a blank document. Yet, when I open it on my Mac, it has a "word" icon and I can read it. How do I fix?
