Problem, someone help please!
I thought I would post my stuff in this forum, since I got it in the wrong one.
I bought the KT3 Ultra2 to run my Athlon XP2500+ on a budget. I set up everything correctly, but there is still a problem.
The power switch does not work. I checked I had it plugged in to the correct pins, and I have. I tried putting it on the pins the other way, but it still didn't work. I used a multimeter to test for a broken circuit on both the switch and the connector pins, but they seem to be fine. I also checked all of the connections on the mobo.
At first I thought there was no power, but the graphics card fan is running, and that is powered through the motherboard. I tried switching back to my old Athlon 1Ghz, but it still did the same thing, so nothing is wrong with the Barton.

GeForce4 MX440 graphics card, AGP 2.0 compliant
Creative SoundBlaster 128 soundcard

PSU is 300W;
3.3v = 14A
5v = 25A
12v = 10A
Thoughts, anyone?
Right. Is the power supply defintely the problem? I mean, there is power since some fans are going, but the power switch does sod all. I tried disconnecting the soundcard, and the power to CDROM, ZIP, and floppy, but it still did the same. Does it still sound like I need a new PSU?
And what type of PSU should I get?

settigns>itunes and app store to make sure you are signed in.. If you are, you will see your account name..... anyhow, click your account name, sign out and sign back in
also go to to settings>general>reset and reset network settings... if that doesnt work settings>general>reset and reset all settings!

If you already have an older version of Flash Player, open the Preference pane and select Check Now... under the Update portion under the General tab:
You shouldn't have to install a new version from the website (I'm not even sure if you can) if you've already installed Flash Player.

Hi all,
I am having some problem with the Apple Wireless Keyboard. It has not problem connecting to both my iPad mini / iPhone 4S.
The problem comes when I start to type with it. All the keys are functioning will, except when I am trying to capitalise the letter 'r'.
I tried using Shift + r. It doesn't work, regardless whether I use the left or right Shift key.

Restart your WiFi router and printer by removing power for 30 seconds.

If its stuck in recovery mode then you have to restore it. Hopefully you had a recent backup on Icloud or on your computer that you can apply after restoring it. If so then you shouldn't loose your data.
Just connect it to Itunes and restore it. After it will promt you when your done to restore from backup or as new. If its on icloud unplug the phone and go through the intro screen till you get the same prompt. Sign into icloud and restore backup. -

If Yosemite is not available to you, your system may not meet the minimum requirements.

I was facing issues with both backup and FB integration after the iOs 6 upgrade. Before then I did not have any issues with the iCloud backup service, but after a few days, I noticed that it was continually stuck at the Estimating time for the backup and it never progressed.
As any good techie would, I tackled the most pressing issue first . . . FB integration of course.
I had read in a separate post about this solution so tried it . . .
I deleted the original FB app and hard booted the phone. I then went into settings and entered the data for FB integration. Seconds later, I received a text message to my phone - already listed and verified in FB with a 6 digit code to re-enter instead of my password. Seconds later I was verified and then prompted to download the FB app. All backup and integrated.
Then I went into the iCloud backup, turned it off . . . and deleted the last backup. I then re-enabled backup . . . and although I thought I was going to face the same issue, after a few minutes, it moved on from Estimating time . . . to actually backing up. It is now a small way through the backup and seems to estimate that it will take another two hours to complete.
A good nights work. Backup and integration all sewed up. Good luck.

Well, if they have truly disappeared then something is really messed up. For really messed up stuff, you need to set it to factory default condition, and then afterwards, restore it from your backup.

I have just selected all my desktop icons and accidentally deleted them. This included my external hard drive with 22,000 photos in iPhoto. I cannot open iPhoto now. Can someone help please?
What is the file system of that external HD? is it MacOS Extended (Journaled)?
Which iPhoto version do you have?
If you directly select the iPhoto Library in the Finder and use "File > Get Info", does the library still show as "Kind: iPhoto Library" and is the file size correct for 22000 Photos?
If the library does no longer have the correct size, restore it from your backup.
But if the library has the correct size, try to open it directly by clicking it. This should work, if your iPhoto version is iPhoto '11. -
Why would you allow firefox to update computer web-browsers if you have an idea that it will no longer work after the update? And why would you not include instructions for, how to fix the problem? Help Please! Can I go back to the old one?

I do not work for Mozilla but I do have experience of releasing software for public usage.
Firefox has no way of knowing what other software is already on your computer and with millions of combinations it isn't always possible to test for every scenario.
You can go back to the old version of Firefox but that won't always solve your problem.

I changed my itunes password only and now I can't update any of the apps I downloaded using the old password. I tried signing in with the old password with no luck. Can someone help please?
Have you signed out of your iTunes account on the device/computer that you are using and signed back in with the updated password ? That should 'refresh' the account on it, and you should be able to use the account's new password to download updates to its apps
