Problem submitting form in iframe in IE

I'm using BC for content for a Facebook Tab App (which for the most part is a great fit) - when trying to submit a form through Internet Explorer, BC gives me a "Unathorized User" error?? Working perfect in ALL other browsers (of course).
I've narrowed the problem to this:
Communication between Explorer and Business Catalyst when submitting a form through an Iframe.
Anyone, and I mean ANYONE have any idea about this?
Currently I have the secure zone login form (form elements not visible via css) on the page and the "Submit your photo" is actually logging them in. When clicked in IE (again, in the Iframe) it kills it.
2 links to view trouble:
bankplusfb.businesscatalyst.com
facebook.com/solvetestcompany (then click on the 3rd custom tab link "Pen Contest")
Can anyone lend a hand?

Tested in IE9 and it worked just fine...what version are you referring to? 6?

  • Problems submitting form with Adobe Reader X?

Our agency created a PDF fillable form, and recently three respondants using Adobe Reader X (on PCs) have contacted us to say that the submit button is not working and they are unable to save the contents of the form to a file on their computer.  The Forms Central Forum had said Adobe 8.0 or higher would support the fillable form, so we are surprised to be running into this.  Has anyone else encountered this problem and found the solution?  Is there a step we are missing?  Thank you!

@melissasnider : make sure that the form filler are using Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Reader or Acrobat Mobile to fill up the form.  Any other PDF viewers doesn't support the submission functionality. More information can be found here : http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-2653.
    Hope this helps

  • Problem Submitting Form

I have made a form in Live Cycle and uploaded it to my website. I AM ABLE to submit the form myself and it is received via email, however when I go to my other PC I CANNOT submit it. It shows the form there with fields, I can fill in the fields, however when I click the submit button, nothing happens. I was told to update my Acrobat Reader, <b<WHICH I DID</b> but the form will still not submit. What do I do??

Does PC #2 have an email client officially set? You might be trying to submit without an email client specified.

  • Problem submitting form data to FTP server

    Hi
Sorry for the newbie question, and sorry if this has been covered elsewhere--I wasn't sure what to search for!
I've created a form that I will disseminate to a large group of people. After filling the form, I'd like them to be able to hit a submit button that sends the data (or the entire form, whichever is most effective) to an FTP server that will store the data so I can import it into a .response file and eventually export to Excel.
The web team at my university has set up an FTP server that has login credentials for a dropbox and different credentials to manage files in that dropbox. When you visit the sites in firefox, it asks you for a login.
I've created the submit button on the form, and I followed the steps included in the LC Designer help. I've tried all four "submit as" options. My FTP site address is in the "Submit to URL:" box (as ftp://xx.server.edu, where xx and server are the location provided to me by the web team). When save it, open it in Acrobat, and insert test data into the form and press submit, however, nothing happens. I get no login dialogue, and no files appear in the dropbox.
The server people don't think it's an issue on their end, as I can access the FTPs through a browser, so clearly I'm doing something wrong with the design of the form or the setup of the Submit button.
    Any help is greatly appreciated!
    Cheers

Acrobat/Reader does not support the FTP protocol. You could submit via HTTP to an interneadiary program and have that do the FTP submission on your behalf. Or that pragram could write the data file to the file system (assuming it is on the same physical hardware).

  • I am having problems submitting forms. I have a MacBook Air and have been using adobe reader 11.0.10 to open them but it doesn't seem to send anything when I click submit.

    Thankyou

    Hi henrocktenrock,
Does the same form work on any other machine?
Was it working fine before you updated Reader?
Would it be possible to share the form with me so that I can have a look.

  • Problems Submitting PDF Forms via Adobe Reader XI?

    Hi,
I have used Acrobat Pro (Versions 9/X and XI) to successfully create fillable PDF forms. I distributed the forms to a server via Acrobat, then set up a hyperlink to the form's location for my users. The users were able to fill the form and submit it.  I was able to manage the submitted form data via Adobe Tracker.  Recently, many of my users have been updated to Acrobat Reader XI.  Now, some of these same users (who have successfully submitted these forms in the past - before the latest upgrade) can no longer submit the form data!  If a user fills the form and clicks submit, it appears to that user that the form was successfully submitted, but no data appears in Adobe Tracker, even after refreshing... What would cause this??
    Thank you!

What is your operating system?  What is your Reader XI version?  What exactly means "cannot"?

  • Change sender email for submitted Form emails

I built a website for a client using Muse and the Form widget through Business Catalyst. However, now whenever the client gets emails from a submitted form, it says its coming from MY email. How do I change the sender so that they recognize that it's not a personal email from me, but rather a submitted website form. Hope that makes sense!

UPDATE: I just figured it out after having posted this no less than 10 mins ago. Thanks community, your genius overflowed to me and helped me solve my own problem. For anyone who is curious, in the Business Catalyst Admin Console, Under the Site Manager tab in the menu, you simply click "System Email" and the "Set default from email."   I can't believe I missed that, and I call myself a professional. Hope it helps someone else!

  • Submitted form emtpy under Acrobat Reader 9 (Mac OS X only)

    Hi
I have a problem sending a form by a submit button (also by scripting) to a webserver. I'd like to submit the form as a PDF (not FDF or anything else).
I either used a submit button or code like below:
    > this.submitForm({ cURL: "sample.org/inbox", cSubmitAs: "PDF"});
The submit itself seems to work fine, but the submitted form is not posted as a document, but only the request with empty body is sent.
b This only happens on Adobe Reader 9 on Mac OS X!
The same document sent on a Windows Adobe Reader 8/9 works fine and sends the entire document.
This thread is related to http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.59b6abf5, but I now realized the problem appears only under Mac OS X and not under Windows.
Did anybody make similar experiences or has a solution for the problem? Is it maybe a security thing?
    Thanks in advance
    Daniel

    Hi Onewizard,
I tried and checked this on different version of Acrobat and Reader however not able to replicate this behavior. I am on MAC 10.6.8

  • Problem viewing forms. This form is not supported with the current version of Adobe Reader.Upgrade to the latest version for full support. That does that mean exactly?

Problem viewing forms. This form is not supported with the current version of Adobe Reader.
Upgrade to the latest version for full support.
What exactly do I need to do?

That means you were probably using Adobe Acrobat to view PDF's. Acrobat is totally unnessary, you can view PDF's in Preview (Applications - Preview).
BTW PLEASE complete your profile. It's very difficult to help  someone when they don't provide any information about their system. You can easily do this by clicking Your Stuff in the upper right of this page, then click Profile and fill in the pertinent information.

  • Role Based Access problem in forms

This would be a long reading.
I'm having a problem with forms Role Based Access.
We have two databases, one in London and one in Zurich. We have installed
application server and oracle forms on London database. We have implemented
Role Based Access to forms. For this we have created a database role (say ZUR_USER)
in both databases. The view FRM50_ENABLED_ROLES which is used by forms role based access control
is also created in both databases with a 'grant select to public'.
Our form system has a menu and forms under that menu. Both menu and the underlying forms have been
assigned Menu Security/Item Roles to the above mentioned ZUR_USER role and the role is assigned
    to various users.
Now a Zurich user is trying to login to Zurich database using the URL for forms installation
in London server. He can login successfully and can see the menu heading in the main screen but
when he clicks the menu he doesn't see the underlying forms list.
When we try the same user id and database from London (using the same URL) we see all the forms.
Any idea what are we missing. The Menu Security is setup at menu level as well as the form level under
that menu. User can see the menu but not the form under that menu from Zurich. No such problem while
    login from London.

    I'm using the Forms 10g
and yes the only difference is between login from Zurich and London.
Problem definitely is due to Role Based Access setup.
The user in Zurich can see the Menu but not the items under that menu.
I have set the security set up at both menu and menu item(i.e. form name) level.

    Hi Eric,
It may be a problem in your web.xml, I missed the "/" slash character
in the web.xml's in <form-login-page> element. So your web.xml

  • Do I gee a copy of submitted forms with the free account?

Do I gee a copy of submitted forms with the free account?

    Hi;
Using the Free account you can view the submitted data and export it to Excel, PDF or CSV (the data is in a table format).
Email Notifications, where an email comes to you each time someone submits the form is a paid level feature.  Another Paid level feature is "Download Response as PDF" which allows you to save/download a PDF version of the filled out form that looks like the original.
    Thanks,

  • DB Link problem on form/report 6i

    Greeting
I have an problem on form 6i with DB Link , that When I have view Using the DB Link and want to use the view on form6i or report 6i, the report not work when call the run file but work through the builder and also on the form not work (Form/ Report 6i With Oracle 11g Release 11.2.0.2.0 - 64bit Production)
    Thanks and appreciated,

    Tony,
we have both 6i forms for client server for Linux and Sparc and the same forms ported (a year ago) to iAS/iDS 10g R2 just to be able to support the same application when 6i becomes obsolete. The issue of trying/asking/investigating if 6i works or will be certified against 11g or not, is simply to find out if we can support our application on the client/server side when the end users want to move to the new database server version/s. As you know the runtime for the client/server version of 6i is free. But we can not simply recommend our end users to start using 11g db server yet, given that 10gR2 forms are not yet certified against 11g yet. Thank you for your comments not only for this posting but on Forms forum though, I always find them very helpful when making educated decisions. Also knowing that you are a unix person makes your comments more valueable for me, personally.
