Problem sync with Outlook Express

Tried to sync my wife's new iphone to her Outlook Express. I believe I indicated the 'replace' function with the first sync. In the end, it took out all the names on the iphone, no contacts are there, and the only data on the iphone is the phone numbers in her Favorite space, without the names. Since then, I have tried 'merge' and 'replace' over and over to no avail. So, how do I get her Outlook Express contacts to her iphone. Thanks!

Hey Larry,
Try resetting the Sync History. In iTunes goto> Edit> Preferences> Syncing> Reset Sync History.

  • TS3999 Since upgrading to IOS 7, my calendar no longer syncs with Outlook Express 2010 on my PC. I believe we have iCloud 3.0 on our PC. I have tried all of the recommended remedies but the calendar from my iPad and iPhone has totally disappeared from Out

Has anyone else had this problem since upgrading their iPhone and iPad to iOS 7?

This was driving me crazy. Sync between Outlook 2007 and my iphone was working perfectly on ios 6 - I primarily sync Calendar, contacts, and notes.
Then everything went bizerk with ios 7... All of a sudden nothing was getting  syncronized, but rather multiple Calendars and Contacts showed up in Outlook 2007. Disabling Calendar, contacts, and Notes in my iphone's icloud settings did the trick. Now I have ONE Calendar and ONE contact list in Outlook, fully in sync with my iphone.

  • Problems syncing with Outlook 2007

Nevermind! It magically started working just a second ago!
I've had this problem before, but the old solution does not work this time...
I got a new computer at work and I'm trying to sync my Outlook 2007 calendar. I reinstalled DM software (5.0) and hooked my phone up, set up the options in synchronization, and then when I ask it to sync, it does nothing. It says "Processing" and then it just stops. No error messages, no other windows, nothing. Just right back to the menu.
Nothing changed with the phone, other than it updated some of the phone's applications when I connected the phone. The calendar is not set to Facebook or anything like that.

Is that what you are doing?

  • Problems Syncing with Outlook and Calendar

We are trying to roll out outlook 2007 together with outlook connector 7.2u1 at patch level 125361-03. Installation goes ok. But we have a major problem with Calendars.
Having used Sun Mail & Calendar for years our users subscribe to a number of calendars, these show up in outlook in the left hand pane and are selectable to view, which syncs the calendar into outlook - all well and good.
Now the major problem, when syncing another persons calendar to view availability etc, all the reminders get sent to the user viewing the calendar as well as going to the owner - where we have users that subscribe to around 20-30 calendars thats alot of other peoples reminders that pop up on the screen !
    Any help greatfully received.

  • Syncing with Outlook Express

Is there any way to sync the Iphone with Microsoft Outlook? It is one of my e-mail accounts that is used for my work, but I have not successfully synced that account with my Iphone.

My Outlook Express contacts synced fine with the iPhone. Wish I could sync my original Palm's calendar without having to pay $90+ for Outlook 2007...

  • New Contacts on the Phone, and problem syncing with Outlook.

I have an iPhone4 with the iOS5 software.  I recently did a sync with my phone (regular sync using iTunes and not iCloud).  I had added some new contacts to my phone, but after the sync was complete, the contact was removed from my phone.  I assume because it was not added to my Outlook contacts first.  Is there a setting in iTunes that will add contacts that are only on my phone to my Outlook contacts?  I don't want to have to keep adding all my contacts in two places just so I have them as a backup.

Hi and Welcome to the forums..
Have you tried a 'One way Sync' coming from the device to the computer only?

  • Problem syncing with Outlook - Please help

I have two Outlook profiles (mine and my wife's) on my computer. How can I make my iPhone sync with the correct one? Right now it will only pull my wife's contacts, when I want it to sync mine instead. Any assistance you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.
    Mike

I use both Outlook (on XP) and just got an iphone for my wife's Powerbook. In looking in outlook help one thought I had is are all user's (ie your wife) logged off of windows? In other words making your profile the only active choice when syncing? To take it a step further try rebooting and only logging in your profile. If this doesn't help try getting a hold of tech support with iphone.
    Best,
    Joseph

  • Cannot sync with outlook express, can you?!

    Hi
WinXP, outlook express 2002 at home.
WinXP pro, outlook 2003 at work.
Set up to sync, connect, get prompt from Outlook asking me for how long I want to grant (iTunes) access to my Outlook account, specify 5 minutes, after 2 seconds I am told "iTunes could not copy Calendars to the iPOD".
Help talks about ensuring calendar is shared. That seems to only be an option in Outlook, not Express.
Ai work I could not save an appointment manually (one-by-one) to the iPOD. (It did not compalin during save process but on iPOD there is no entry for the date I exported event from.) From Express I can manually export.
Help also talks about ensuring the calendar has an email address. Anyone know what that means?
    Any ideas?
    Oli
iPOD...so near yet still so far!

Sorry, Microsoft windows-based phones use Outlook only.  Outlook Express is just an email client.
