Problem Synching iPhone

I have a problem that I can't seem to solve. I have an iPhone running 2.0 software and when I try to synch I get stuck on the Set Up Your iPhone screen. I have tried erasing all content and settings and reloading from backup and it continues to hang up on the Set Up screen following each load from backup. I have also tried reloading iTunes and running the diagnostics within iTunes and everything seems to be fine. Other than the synching, the phone is still working fine.
Any help anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated!!

What advanced settings are you referring to on the iPhone? The only advanced I have is under my yahoo email account. Update since I last posted, I tried deleting the few entries after the letter "T" that were not synching to the iPhone and recreated them and they now are synching fine but the sync is only working one way, if I create a new contact on the iPhone it shows up in my yahoo address book but if I create a new entry in my yahoo address book and do a sync, it does not sync over to the iPhone.

I have an iPhone 3Gs and have begun to notice that information is not being synched between Calender and the phone and Address Book and the phone. I now also have duplicate contacts for all contacts that were in my orginal iPhone before I upgraded. I suspect it has something to do with mobileme (which I don't subscribe to) and I have tried all the various synch options in iTunes. I know people have been having the problem and have solved theirs with the help of mobileme. How can I solve it without subscribing?

Problem synching iPhone with Yahoo address book contacts

Basically what is happening is when I sync most of the yahoo contacts transfer to the iPhone just fine but then I get a message telling me that all of the contacts could not be copied, try again later. I look and it stops after the letter "T". Ive tried several times even after a reboot. I also noticed that when I created a new contact on the iPhone it doesnt get synched over to my yahoo contacts. Any help is appreciated.

Problems synching iPhone 4 iOS 6.0.1 with iTunes 11

I'm sure somebody else has this issue as it only started after I upgraded to iTunes 11.
I am not trying to synch over wifi (far too advanced, it asks for a cable) and I get only so far through the synching process and it falls over. Specifically it gets up to Step 3, successfully synchs bookmarks and mail accounts and then falls over when trying to transfer purchases with this error:
"An unknown error occurred (1150)."
I've tried turning off the phone, cleaning up my library, synching over wifi, synching manually - nothing appears to work.
Any tips gratefully appreciated.

No I don't have this issue, and I downloaded itunes 11 when it first came out. I've been able to sync my phone without any problems. I've actually erased my phone and restored from backup using itunes.

Problem Synching Iphone 4S to MacBook Pro. Also can't synch Itunes Library to iPhone.

I have a problem Syncing my iPhone 4S to my MacBook Pro......when I click sync iPhone nothing happens. When it's plugged in it asks me if I want to upoad photos from my phone to my MacBook Pro, so it does recoginise that my iphone is connected. Other than that there is no recognition ie on Finder that the phone is attached.
Nor can I sync iTunes Library to iPhone. I have however successfully synced the iTunes library to my Ipod, so it seems to be an issue my iPhone?

You'll have to purchase 3rd party software if you want to extract them directly from the phone. That or e-mail them to yourself, or set up a new shared photo stream and put the photos you want in that.
The phone is not a backup device. Since the photos came from your computer to begin with, you should have a backup of them in your backup of the computer.
You may want to seriously think about investing in an internal hard drive and turning on Time Machine.

My Mac is using 10.7.2. I have an iPhone 4 using iOS5 which syncs without a problem. I also have an iPhone 4 with version 4.3.3. This one wil not sync. I crashes during with an error message 'missing disc'. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks.

iTunes does not sync the photos to your computer, it only includes pictures and videos taken with the phone in the backup. iTunes will only sync photos and videos to your phone. iPhone, iPad and iPod touch: Syncing photos via iTunes

The following peocess corrects the calendar entry:
edit the contact & change the birthday, save the change; edit the contact & change the birthday to the correct value, save the change again. The calendar entry then displays on the correct date. Alternatively as a temp solution I can just de-select the "birthdays" calendar which stops the icon being displayed.
Thanks for your advice, I think that it's n going to be a slow process to fix all the entries for not much return.

think the current itune version removed the feature and that you should use iclouds to sync your outlook stuff and your ios
but read they will be adding the direct sync from itunes again in the next version of itunes or something like that
for now just use icloud it's free and easy to setup

Seems that way. I think I am going to have to give in and spend hours on the phone with Apple support. I don't want to, but I am at a loss. I will share any discoveries...

Problem synching videos on iPad and iPhone

I just got a new laptop and copied my entire iTunes library from my desktop pc to the new laptop. Everything synchs without issue except for video files in my photo directories. This does not happen with my CBT videos that synch under Movies.
If I uncheck "Include Videos" from the Photo tab, the synch runs without any problems. Only when I try to include the videos does this happen. This is happening on both my iPhone 4 and iPad.
I didn't think to try and synch again on my desktop pc so I'll give that a shot when I get home but I can't for the life of me figure out why this is happening. Both machines are Windows 7 x64 (desktop is Pro, laptop is Home Premium) and all I did was copy the entire iTunes Library from my user profile on the desktop to the same location in my user directory on the laptop. When I launched iTunes, everything was there just like it was on the desktop. I never had a problem synching the videos on the desktop.
The only difference between the machines is one is Win7Pro, the other is Win7Home Premium and the laptop has the absolute latest version of iTunes.
Any ideas?

I also sent an email to a Hotmail account that I gave and received a message that it is not a correct email address which it clearly is. All if this is happening only when connected to Apple's software relating to the IPad and I-phone. I do not see how the settings could be wrong in that I have been using my IPad without a problem for about 2 years and the IPhone for 4 months. Also, I do receive emails now without issues.
When I go to the web based Yahoo email I do not experience these problems or with my laptop.

Hi I'm not very computer literate so pls be gentle! I bought an iPad air two days ago and synch my photos using iTunes just fine.
Today for some reason I noticed all these white thumbnails on my laptop in the photos section. Stupidly I deleted all 600 of them and all my photis on the iPad immediately vanished. Later I restored the photos from the recycling bin to my photos
However now I try to re synch them there is no option to synch from ' my pictures' just each little folder ( whereas before I had a drop down box and could select which folders I wanted) however when I synch iphone it does offer the option
Anyway even if I synch each folder it will kep replacing the last one so I can only ever have one folder of photos on the iPad if u see?
How can I transfer my photos please?
And how can I get the option back of the drop down box and tick as many folders as I want?

or... put your photos in "My Pictures" in My Documents, and viola, itunes syncs it to the iphone. only one sentence needed =/

Problem synching ipad with itunes

I have an ipad 3 and have started having a problem synching in itunes. It refuses to merge contacts, calendar and notes but instead simple replaces the one on the ipad with the older version from itunes. This is also happening on my iphone 5. It has also deleted 2 of my calendars. I still have these calendars on another iphone 4 but I am afraid to try to to back them up as I don't want to lose them permanently.
I have double checked that it is marked correctly in info. It has synched correctly in the past.
My itunes is current as well as my IOS.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
Public DNS — Google Developers
OpenDNS IP Addresses
- For one user uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes resolved the problem
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem
